Girl, 17, in critical condition after getting tangled in noose at haunted house

A 17-year-old girl is in a critical condition after she became tangled in a noose at a Halloween haunted house.

Police said the girl, who was working as an actress at the attraction in St Louis, Missouri, was found unconscious with the prop around her neck.

It is thought that members of the public may have walked past her thinking she was a scary prop. She was discovered by a colleague who was checking on the safety of employees at around 8:30pm last night.

Captain Ron Arnhart of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said: 'We noticed a bathtub was there. It appears as though the individual stood up on the sides of the bathtub and for whatever reason, put their head in this noose. 'It looks like her feet may have slipped,' he told local station KTVI. 'It looks like an unfortunate accident.'

A Creepyworld spokesman said: Our only concern is that she's going to be OK. That's all we care about.'

The attraction, which employs 100 people, has remained open. More here:

Yes, she got "tangled" ... total accident ... unforeseeable.  In defense of the "reporter," I can see how he'd get this wrong ... the circumstances are so confusing.  By his headline you'd think she was just casually walking by a noose when, all of a sudden, BOOM ... ENTANGLEMENT!!!  GAAAA!!!!  So unfortunate. Happens all the time.

He must have been casually walking by some words and became entangled in the wrong ones.  Idiot.

Get the evil rich -- GET THEM!! CLASS WAR!!

(Newser) – You can raise taxes on the rich to fight inequality, but that will only "trim the tallest poppies" and won't do anything to help the middle class, says Ross Douthat in the New York Times. "True social mobility and broadly shared prosperity are not so easily achieved," he writes. Those extra tax dollars will just go toward propping up out-of-date public institutions instead of tackling much-needed entitlement and education reform—the areas that are most hurting the middle class.

The public sector today is inefficient and entrenched like the corporate world was in the 1950s. "But if a bloated public sector were the blueprint for a thriving middle-class society, then the whole world would be beating a path to Greece’s door," writes Douthat. More here:
Wombat writes: lmao@the comment on the article by spydiggity: "an article on newser written by someone with some common sense? i can't believe my eyes. no wonder the article is labeled "annoying". the socialist idiots on this site can't handle reality."
My favorite part of this article is there is a place to vote on how you like the article. There are six choices, two of which are "brilliant" and "annoying." When I read the article, "annoying" was leading with 50% of the total votes. I clicked on "brilliant" and it changed the "annoying" total to 49%. Wombat pointed out that officially makes me the 1%. Anyway, if you want to annoy some libs, click the link and choose "brilliant" -- or whatever you want.

The impeccable logic of the genius liberal

Ever notice that everything is about "race" with the genius libs?

That's right. Conservatives don't like Obama ... know why? Cuz he's black, that's why, and, as every idiot-lib knows, conservatives are racists.

However, and pay close attention here ... because you're going to need to be able to understand complexity

Ok ... Ready? Conservatives actually like Herman Cain (a black man) because conservatives are racists. Get the lib-logic? I knew you would ... you're a genius.

Communists at "Occupy ________"

Pic of "Occupy Richmond" - found it here:

RICHMOND, Va. (CBS Washington) – The Richmond Tea Party is accusing Mayor Dwight Jones of taking a soft stance against the “Occupy Richmond” protesters and is demanding that the group pay up.
After nearly three weeks of protests and overnight stays in Kanawha Plaza, the Richmond Tea Party is about to send Jones a bill for about $8,000 on the basis that “Occupy Richmond” has been using the area illegally and for free.

Richmond Tea Party spokeswoman Colleen Owens told CBS Washington that the protesters have been given special treatment and free reign of the park and have not had to comply with the strict liability and security provisions that the city required of a Tea Party Tax Day in 2009.

As the person in charge of the 2009 event, Owens said Richmond officials dictated the number of police and emergency personnel they were required to have on site and required a $1 million liability policy to protect the city. Owens said that when a Tea Party member decided to call the mayor’s office to see if the protesters had required any of the necessary permits for the park, the city said that “Occupy Richmond” didn’t have any requirements for them to protest and stay overnight in Kanawha Plaza.
“We’re forced to comply with the laws, but yet they don’t have to,” she said. “That’s such a blatantly unequal application of the laws.” More here:

Ha ha.  They don't even try to hide it anymore.  Hey, conservatives, you aren't "equal"  and we don't give a damn what you say ... the judges are on our side, assholes.

It's too bad that the "99%" are really about 20% ... otherwise this next election would look "rigged is" ... considering the almost lethal (figuratively, of course) ass whippin' these libs are going to suffer at the polls.

Hey libs ... get jobs ... get together and "do good" ... just leave other people alone.  But you can't leave other people alone, can you.  The answer is "no, you can't."  You know why?  Because you INSIST that you're so much smarter than everyone else and further, everyone else should have to live their lives according to your rules.  And tyrants like you are never short of rules, no.  And you're convinced that if everyone else just gave up a little bit more of their liberty and private property (money) we'd all live in Utopia.

But if that were true, we'd all be there now, wouldn't we?  What's the matter?  We haven't squandered enough money yet?  Haven't written enough laws yet?  Haven't interfered in the economy enough yet?  When will it be enough, libs?  I know when ... never ... prepare your doom at the polls, buttcheeses.

copied from my e-mail

Put me in charge . . .

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans, blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations. Then, we'll test recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine and document all tattoos and piercings. If you want to reproduce or use drugs, alcohol, smoke or get tats and piercings, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks?
You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair. Your "home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo and speakers and put that money toward the “common good..”

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules.. Before you say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov’t subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov’t welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

Liberal gets busted trying to pull a flim-flam.

Well said.

Thanks again, WAMK.

The poor, poor, idiot media

The modern media is losing its credibility with the people.  It's losing its viewership/readership etc.  The media is at a total loss to explain this.  And yet, here is what they do to get "ratings:"

Occupy Maine camp attacked with chemical bomb

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Occupy Maine protesters camped out in Portland's Lincoln Park were attacked early Sunday morning when someone lobbed a chemical bomb at them.  No one was seriously injured when the small, homemade bomb exploded near the camp's main meeting area around 4am.

Witnesses say they saw a small, silver sedan circle the park several times with the occupants yelling obscenities before the bomb exploded with a loud bang, followed by a thick cloud of smoke and foul smell.

"We had a car go by a couple times, honk at us, yell at us, tell us to go get jobs and call us evil names," said Stephanie Wilburn, describing what she and other members of the overnight guard detail in the camp saw and heard.  "It came back around, it slowed down and then sped up."

Blah blah blah -- then, way down in the article, we find this:

The bomb caused little damage, and besides a sore throat and minor hearing loss to Wilburn and another member of the security team, caused no injuries. More here:

Right ... I wonder what they meant by "little damage," don't you?  My guess is a puddle which dried up later, or perhaps a scratch on the sidewalk.  "Little damage, sore throat, minor hearing loss ..." idiots.

Yes, "chemical bomb" ... very scary, eh?  Might I suggest what the headline should have been?  How about:

Freeloading hippies hit with stink bomb

That sounds more truthful to me but then again I'm not trying to transform anything into "news."

On the bright side, I just love it that the media flails and flails to keep its audience.  And the more people that ignore/disregard the media, the more and worse they flail.  Most people I know aren't just apathetic towards the media anymore, they actually hold them in contempt and view them as an adversary to liberty.

I mean, seriously -- chemical bomb?  Yes, we're all fooled.  We BELIEVE you, baaaa, bleat.

How to speak Republican: A Dictionary.

I found this to be not only funny but also very telling. As you read this consider well that it says much more about the distorted views of Liberals than it does about actual Republicans. Of course, it's always easier (and more entertaining) to assault the extremists than it is to attack the truth.

Defend yourself in America? Not anymore.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — A McDonald’s cashier jailed for beating two irate customers with a metal rod says he was only trying to defend himself.

Rayon McIntosh was arrested Oct. 13 after a wild fight inside a McDonald’s in the Greenwich Village neighborhood in Manhattan.

Video recorded by a customer showed two furious women vaulting a counter to attack McIntosh after some sort of dispute. More here:

Ok, let's see ... two furious women "vaulted the counter" to attack him.  He defended himself.  The lawyers of the women are going to say he "took it too far."

Sorry, asshats, if you "vault a counter to attack" then you've put yourself at risk and have no one to blame but yourself.  Of course, that's probably too difficult for an idiot-lib to understand.  No worries though, the libs tell us they are MUCH better at understanding complexity than conservatives.  Yes, yes, it's true.  You believe "studies" don't you?

Anyway, why do YOU think they arrested the victim instead of the attackers?  Do you see this happen all the time in America now?  I do.  And the victim will lose the lawsuit for the same reasons.

Of course, McIntosh has no money so guess who will pay.  That's right, McDonalds will pay, just as they always pay in these situations.  And the leftist predatory lawyers go unpunished.  Why?  Because the sheep think the evil rich corporation can easily afford to pay.  Never mind the evil rich corporation just passes the costs of litigation on to you in the form of higher prices.  This never occurs to an idiot lib.

The predatory lawyers have convinced idiot libs that corporations are paying so it's FREEEEEE ... yes, the favorite word of the idiot lib ... FREEEEEE.   That's right ... and never mind what is right and wrong ... stealing money from companies is always right ... you know ... since all big companies got their money illegitimately.

Have you ever noticed that a lib will  automatically and easily be convinced of something if it sounds counter intuitive but will question anything that would be accepted as common sense by the most mentally challenged person you know.

One day, my friends, this is going to swing 180 degrees and the people will see they've been duped.  And when the pendulum swings, and the people see who is truly attacking them, it is my fervent hope the people will "defend themselves."

Another one bites the dust at the hand of the Peace Prize winner.

This is a derivation of the original by Latuff whose work can be found HERE.

The Left and Inequality explained.

For Hitler, first Jews and ultimately Slavs and other "non-Aryans" were declared the enemy and unworthy of life. For the Communists, the rich -- the bourgeoisie, land owners, and capitalists -- were labeled the enemy and regarded as unworthy of life.

The reason for this embrace is that class hatred is as fundamental to the left as the Trinity is to Christians, and the left dominates the media and education. This is dangerous because there is an ideological continuum from the democratic left to the Communist left. Making the rich into scapegoats for society's ills unites the left.

Being on the left means that you divide the world between rich and poor much more than you divide it between good and evil. For the leftist, the existence of rich and poor -- (SET ITAL) inequality (END ITAL) -- is what constitutes evil. More than tyranny, inequality disturbs the left, including the non-Communist left.
The entire article is HERE and well worth the read.

OWS is converting Liberals to Conservatives!

This picture may have been photoshopped to make it relevant to this post.

A confrontation with a knife-wielding junkie at Occupy Boston and rampant thefts have tensions simmering between the protesters and the homeless, prompting Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s predecessor to say it’s high time for police to clear the tent city.
Demonstrator Andrew Warner, 36, said homeless people are hijacking tents, getting drunk, “passing out” and stealing.

“It’s turning into us against them,” Warner said. “They come in here and they’re looking at it as a way of getting a free meal and a place to crash, which is totally fine, but they don’t bring anything to the table at all. It gets really frustrating.”

Louisiana bids goodbye to some more liberty

Cold hard cash. It's good everywhere you go, right? You can use it to pay for anything. But that's not the case here in Louisiana now.

It's a law that was passed during this year's busy legislative session. House bill 195 basically says those who buy and sell second hand goods cannot use cash to make those transactions, and it flew so far under the radar most businesses don't even know about it. "We're gonna lose a lot of business," says Danny Guidry, who owns the Pioneer Trading Post in Lafayette. He deals in buying and selling unique second hand items. "We don't want this cash transaction to be taken away from us. It's an everyday transaction," Guidry explains. Guidry says, "I think everyone in this business once they find out about it. They're will definitely be a lot of uproar."

The law states those who buy or sell second hand goods are prohibited from using cash.

State representative Rickey Hardy co-authored the bill. Hardy says, "they give a check or a cashiers money order, or electronic one of those three mechanisms is used." Hardy says the bill is targeted at criminals who steal anything from copper to televisions, and sell them for a quick buck. Having a paper trail will make it easier for law enforcement. "It's a mechanism to be used so the police department has something to go on and have a lead," explains Hardy.

Guidry feels his store shouldn't have to change it's ways of doing business, because he may possibly buy or sell stolen goods. Something he says has happened once in his eight years. "We are being targeted for something we shouldn't be." Besides non-profit resellers like Goodwill, and garage sales, the language of the bill encompasses stores like the Pioneer Trading Post and flea markets.

Lawyer Thad Ackel Jr. feels the passage of this bill begins a slippery slope for economic freedom in the state. "The government is placing a significant restriction on individuals transacting in their own private property," says Ackel. More here:

LOL. Slippery slope?  I think the "slipping" has already occurred and you're at the bottom looking up.

The one thing I that's good about it is it's a state law -- not a federal mandate.  This is the very reason for federalism (state's rights.)  When states get busy stealing your liberty, you are free to move to states that do NOT steal your liberty.  That makes the free states stronger economically and forces the freedom-stealers to repeal their tyranny or lose their power/tax base ... EXCELLENT thinnin' by the authors of the 10th amendment.

I wonder if this means you have to write a separate check for every $2 item you buy at a flea market. The article doesn't mention any exceptions. Sorry, Louisiana ... what a shame.

Replicating Al Gore’s Climate 101 video experiment shows that his “high school physics” could never work as advertised

Readers may recall my previous essay where I pointed out how Mr. Gore’s Climate 101 Video, used in his “24 hours of climate reality”, had some serious credibility issues with editing things to make it appear as if they had actually performed the experiment, when they clearly did not. It has taken me awhile to replicate the experiment. Delays were a combination of acquisition and shipping problems, combined with my availability since I had to do this on nights and weekends. I worked initially using the original techniques and equipment, and I’ve replicated the Climate 101 experiment in other ways using improved equipment. I’ve compiled several videos. My report follows.

The great Milton Friedman strikes again.

Milton Friedman on the myth of the Free Lunch.

And now for something completely different...

And that's like... you know... whatever

Really? REALLY???

I didn't say I was a fan of capitalism- I said we'll make money.

Right- more money than the banks. Welcome to capitalism although I doubt you have the wherewithal to make it through the front door.

Guy hasn't slept in 2 days because he doesn't have any shelter...

Martin Sheen. The smartest guy in the room.

Here's a video clip of Martin Sheen on the Joy Behar show. I have a personal hatred for him because years ago, I won an Apocalypse Now surfboard (a replica of Robert Duvall's board in the movie) which was signed by Robert Duvall with the quote, "I love the smell of napalm in the morning". Unbeknownst to me, that wasn't the only signature on the board and when I picked it up, I saw two more signatures on the back. One signature was of Robert Rheault who was reputedly the inspiration for Robert Duvall's Lt. Col. Kilgore. His quote was "Charlie don't surf!" and that's fine with me. The other signature though, was by Martin Sheen and his quote was not only not in the movie, and not only contrary to the whole point of the movies, but also revoltingly self-serving. It said "may there be peace in the world in ____" or something like that. To this day, the board hangs with his signature to the wall and if the day ever comes when I have to display it with both sides showing, I'm going to have it professionally removed lest it mar the otherwise beautiful board. Anywho... here's the clip.

Of course, I still plan on seeing his upcoming movie "The Way" and I'm still going to be surprised/pissed if I don't like it.

Finally! Proof that Tea Partiers are RACIST BIGOTS!!!!

All this time, people have been calling Tea Partiers (Tea Baggers) racist bigots but somehow and mysteriously haven't been able to find any proof of it. Every time they get "proof", it turns out that the person they caught was actually a Liberal who had joined a Tea Party get together solely for the purpose of making it seem like Tea Partiers were racist bigots. That really has to get frustrating after a while though so FINALLY, here is the proof that we've all been waiting for. Documented video evidence that Tea Partiers are RACIST BIGOTS.
Oh no wait now- these are all video clips from Occupy Wall Street (OWS) and not of Tea Parties at all. My bad. Move along nothing to see here.

Obama's answer to everything - squander your money

In Flint, Michigan, Vice President Joe Biden suggested that more rapes and murders could occur if President Barack Obama's jobs bill is not passed. More here:

Ha ... you have to love the Democratics for maxing out the rhetoric on everything. For them, everything is a dire emergency except your job opportunity.

They do the same thing with global warming ... "Give us your money or the whole planet is going up in flames ... and it's all our (America's) fault." Oh sure, they'll SAY your job is important if they think that's going to get you to be ok with paying more taxes but that's about it. If you ask them about taking their jackboot off the throat of business they'll pretend they didn't hear you.

Yes, they spent and squandered and blathered ... stimulus after stimulus to save the economy ... but it didn't work. You know why? The government cannot create jobs. The government is not a "producer." The government is a leech. The government doesn't create wealth. It just steals (and squanders) your money ... that's it.

But what do the genius Democratics say? We didn't spend enough ... we don't have enough regulations. What we need is more government regulation and more government spending ... you know why? Because government regulation and spending make for good economic growth ... can't you tell?

Seriously, if government regulation (leveling playing fields) and government squandering were good for the economy, shouldn't we be experiencing an economic boom like we've never seen?

I mean, the Democratics have squandered more money in the last few years than can be imagined ... and yet, here we are ... but have the Democatics learned? No, the answer is no ... I think it was Ann Coulter who said, (I'm paraphrasing) "if liberals were capable of learning, they'd be conservatives."

What do you think when you think of Zimbabwe?

When the word "Zimbabwe" gets mentioned, what goes through your mind?  Mugabe? Currency disaster? Hyper-inflation?  Starvation? Human rights violations? Tyranny?

Yes, me too ... but here's something else going on there I thought you'd be interested in knowing.  It seems that there were some women going around raping men to get their semen for some sort of ritual.  Yes, yes, I knew you'd be as offended as I.

It seems that the men are pretty much left penniless after the sex (I said PENNILESS, not penisless, dumbasses) but I guess that's pretty much the same as here in America.

In October last year, police chief Augustine Chihuri was forced to address the unusual crimes, warning that the rapists would be would "professionally dealt with accordingly without fear or favour".

"Let me warn all social miscreants who are soiling the country's social fabric, cultural norms and values by perpetrating abominable and weird activities of women sexually molesting men, sometimes at gunpoint, to stop the practices forthwith," he warned. More on the story here:

"Forthwith" -- good word.  I'd replace it with "right McNow" but you know .... whatever. I'll tell you what else I learned about Zimbabwe this morning.

Zimbabwe has three official languages and English is one of them.

Ken Salazar - Focusing on VERY important issues

With the nation’s Latino population booming and now the country’s largest minority group, the Obama administration’s top Hispanic official is concerned that the federal government is not giving enough attention to Hispanic history and culture.

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar in the past year has pushed the National Park Service to identify more sites or properties related to the histories of women and minorities that could be added to the National Register of Historic Places or be preserved as national parks or historic landmarks.

“Less than 3 percent of all the national landmarks that we have — the highest designation you can receive as a historic landmark — are designated for women, Latinos, African Americans or other members of minority groups,” Salazar said in a meeting with reporters last week. “That tells you that the score is not even.” More here:

First of all ... score?  What "score?"  Ever notice the Democratics always want the "score to be even?"  No winners, no losers, everyone makes the same grades, on and on.  It's funny ... the government doesn't like winners and losers ... UNLESS the government gets to pick them.  They're VERY busy picking winners and losers up there in Washington.

Secondly, since when are National Historic Places color themed?  It's AMERICAN history, asshole.  Stop dividing the American people based on race and gender etc every - single - time you get the chance ... ASSHOLE.

And finally ... what the hell are you people doing?  What's the matter?  Haven't found enough trivial crap on which to squander my money?  Not deep enough in debt yet so you just keep spending?  I think we just identified another helpful government agency to cut by about 90%.

Disgusting Tea Partier advocating violence

Found this at The Tattler: Here’s their transcript, starting at 32 seconds into the video:

Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class. Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

Crowd: [Cheers.]
Incredibly, he praises the massacres of the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror rather than Gandhi’s nonviolent philosophy.

And the crowd laps it up.

Every single day, more videos emerge from the Occupy movement showing people saying things that, if they had been said by a Tea Partier, would have been front-page news for weeks and discredited the movement forever. But since it’s the Occupy Wall Street movement, darlings of the media and Democratic politicians, they get a pass.

More photos and videos from L.A. can be seen at Ringo’s Pictures.

Yes, you recall the French Revolution, right? The Aristocrats? The Guillotines? The melon baskets full of blood?

LOL @ India's current condition is Ghandi's fault.  What a genius.   Once again they blame people/entities who have no actual control of you ... who do not use force against you.  And yet, the government, which CAN and DOES use force to make you do things ... they're great, right?

Also note the reference to "the bourgeoisie" ... ever hear that before?  Hmmmm, where do you think you heard it?

Don't you hate it when the MSM blasts this kind of hate from the Tea Party all over the air waves for a week?  What do you think would have happened if a Tea Party person advocated violence like this (with a microphone) during a rally?   And yet, you won't hear a word of this from the MSM ... isn't that strange?

Hey, you know who else supports the "protestors?"  Yes, Obama, Pelosi, the Democratics, The Communist Party USA (no, this is not sarcasm, it's true,) Hugo Chavez, Iran ... etc etc etc.

Where do you think these people are getting the money? Unlike the Tea Party, these scumballs (many of them) are being paid.  Last night I heard that ACORN was paying many of them.  LMAO.

Seriously, this is how much the government thinks of your opinion.  You got ripped off by ACORN and you want them closed down permanently.  But what actually happened?  Nothing ... they're still ripping you off ... with your own money.  HA HA, idiots ... keep voting for "Democratics."

Democratics and Communists band together

Found the pic at Blacklisted News

Below are excerpts from this article by Kerry Picket at the Washington Times :

Not to be outdone by the likes of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, who claimed there is "horrible repression" of the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters or by an Iranian commander who called the demonstrations an "American Spring," Communist Party USA wants in on the "Occupy" protest action.

According to their website, a teleconference call this Tuesday is scheduled for a discussion regarding their organization's "solidarity" with the OWS demonstrators:

Southern California Party leader Arturo Cambron will share how the CPUSA and Young Communist League (YCL) are working in “Occupy Los Angeles.”

This movement, also known as the “99% movement,” is being hailed across the country.

Movements and organizations are reaching out in solidarity. The AFL-CIO is opening union halls and offering other material assistance. Ordinary people are donating food, money and materials.

A big challenge for the CPUSA and left, progressive movements is to link these demonstrations with the labor led all-people’s coalition and help deepen understanding that the path to progress must be through electoral and political action including defeating Republican Tea Party reaction in 2012.

Of primary importance is linking it with the burgeoning fight for jobs and especially passage of the American Jobs Act.

We can also play a role in offering more advanced programmatic ideas like nationalizing the banks and socialism.

To have a positive impact, the CPUSA and YCL must be a part of the “Occupy” movement, participating at every level and building greater local support for the actions among labor and progressive forces.

The Occupy Wall Street demonstrations have been supported by labor unions and Democratic lawmakers and their party leaders on Capitol Hill.  “God bless them for their spontaneity,” said Nancy Pelosi of the OWS protesters to reporters. She then added, “It’s young, it’s spontaneous, it’s focused and it’s going to be effective.”

Yes, is anyone shocked that the "Democratics" and the communists support the same exact thing?  What a coinkydink.

Idiot "Protestors" too busy to hunt jobs

So I was wandering around checking out some info on "the protestors" when I ran across the Urban Infidel's site and this videoShe has lots more pics, videos, and commentary on her page.
It doesn't seem to me they have a unified message or anything ... they just hate the rich.  Why do they hate the rich?  Oh, probably because the rich are always forcing them to do things they don't want to do.  I'm not sure what that is but it must be something.  You see, I can't relate, I've never had a rich person force me to do something I didn't want to do ... and by "force" I mean "by threat of jail."  The government does it all the time but so far I haven't been a "victim" of the rich.

Keep in mind, these are the people who would force you to live as they tell you.  They don't want to leave you alone, no, they want to write rules for you as fast as they can make them.  That's right, they have plans.  Of course, we shouldn't mind ... after all, they're all geniuses ... much smarter than you or I.

Is it just me or do these idiot "Democratics" require a drum circle at every protest?  Seriously, these "protestors" just look like a bunch of homeless drug addicts to me.

The argument for premarital sex

He doesn't realize he's not supposed to tell the truth

Republican presidential contender Herman Cain amplified his criticism Sunday of the growing Occupy Wall Street movement, calling the protesters “jealous’ Americans who "play the victim card” and want to “take somebody else’s” Cadillac. More here:

Heh, tell 'em Herman.  The more I hear this guy, the more I like him.

I heard (or read somewhere) that at one time Herman said that being gay is a choice.  I don't know if it's true, I don't know if he's changed his mind since that time (if true) -- but I know this -- I don't like that attitude.

I realize we'll never get the "perfect" candidate.  In my opinion Ron Paul is also VERY good but I don't agree with everything Ron Paul thinks either.  In any case, the media will murder him.   Of course, they'll attempt to murder Herman Cain as well.  They'll present his 9-9-9- plan as increasing taxes on the poor.  The fact that it's not true won't stop them.

Guitars- that's exactly how they work.

I'm going to push this guy around ... oopsie daisy!

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police say a New Mexico man pretending to be police officer pulled over a real Albuquerque Police Department detective and is facing charges.

KOB-TV reports that Tyree Appleberry was given the citation Wednesday on charges of impersonating a police officer then arrested for an outstanding warrant.

According to police, the 42-year-old turned on his strobe lights on his white Chevy Tahoe in an attempt to stop a driver, who turned out to be an undercover officer. More here:

Too Soon?

Found it at Bits and Pieces:

Will the world love America again!

Remember when the "Demoncratics" were telling us how the whole universe galaxy world hated us but they would love us again (as if it ever did) if we just elected Obama?  Yes, yes, the nostalgia.  And then he was elected and he himself told us how he had "restored our standing in the world."

I guess he accomplished this by going around apologizing for America and bowing to dictators and the like.  Seriously, what dumbass ... Nobel peace prize be upon him.

Anyway, I was wondering ... if America elects another black man (Herman Cain) will the world still love us?  Of course, the Demoncratics will say no.  The Demoncratics" will also show their genius and superior logic/reasoning by explaining that conservatives are racists if they vote for Herman Cain.

The best part?  I don't think Herman Cain gives a blue damn whether the "world loves us" or not.  That kind of idiocy is reserved for the Demoncratics.

By the way, one of my friends told me she heard a possible good slogan for Herman the other day ... "Rock me like a Herman Cain."  I liked it.

Thank you Mr. Jobs.

Sarah Palin getting in the race?

From here:

Ken Vogel and I both have sources telling us that calls were made on behalf of a mystery candidate to various early states to determine presidential filing deadlines.

The calls were made by representatives of the law firm Baker Hostetler - a firm that employs lawyer Mark Braden, who represents Sarah PAC, her political action committee.

As Ken notes, while he nor representatives of Palin’s campaign would comment on the calls, Palin is the only GOP politician eying the presidential race who is represented by the firm.

The current thinking in GOP election law circles is that the first hard cut-off for entering the race is Oct. 28, when presidential candidates who hope to appear on the ballot in the New Hampshire primary would be required to submit a filing fee from a federally registered presidential campaign committee.

(with Reid Epstein)

Hmmmm. That would add another solid conservative to the race.  In my opinion the only conservatives in the race right now are Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain.  I think Sarah would add some excitement to the race just because the media will embarrass itself (over and over) while trying to embarrass her.  Ohhhhhh, they hate her with a white-hot hate.

I guarantee if Sarah gets in the race you will be subjected to daily reports claiming she's stupid.  Not only that but you'll be continuously reminded that she had an affair with a black basketball player (at least, so says some knucklehead) ... not that the media cares about the color of your skin, mind you ... but, ahem, he was black and they have to report that because it's a "fact."  The only time they don't report about skin color is when someone commits a crime ... cuz then, it's not important ... get it?

I'd vote for any of these three right now but I'm really liking Herman Cain because of one thing ... he's a HUGE supporter of the Fair Tax.  And I think the Fair Tax is the single most important thing we could do to turn the economy around 180 degrees,  increase personal liberty, and rip the power from the hands of the disgusting, squandering, politicians in Washington DC.

Hey, did I mention that Herman is black?  No?  Well, he is ... so I expect you'll be voting for him ... unless you're a racist nazi.

UPDATE: Within a day or two me me posting this Sarah announced she would not be a candidate.  I wonder if she also said she wouldn't consider VP if asked.

If nothing else – interesting.

Denmark has introduced what’s believed to be the world’s first fat food tax, applying a surcharge to foods with more than 2.3 percent saturated fats, in an effort to combat obesity and heart disease.

Danes hoarded food before the tax went into effect Saturday, emptying grocery store shelves. Some butter lovers may even resort to stocking up during trips abroad.

The new tax of 16 kroner ($2.90) per kilogram (2.2 pounds) of saturated fat in a product will be levied on foods like butter, milk, cheese, pizza, oils and meat.

In 2004, Denmark made it illegal for any food to have more than 2 percent trans fats. In July 2010, the country increased taxes on ice cream, chocolate and sweets by 25 percent. At the same time, Denmark increased taxes on soft drinks, tobacco and alcohol products, beyond the minimum levels established by the EU. More here:

Don't you wish you lived in Denmark?  Yes, no need for you to decide what kind of food you like, the government will take care of that ... and if you don't agree?  No problem ... you can just pay them ... see how free you are?

Aren't you glad you live in the United States where the lib government doesn't steal your liberty like this?  Ha, ha, yeah - I couldn't say it with a straight face.  I almost gotcha though, didn't I.

By the way, I found the pic here, where "scientists" PROVE that fatties hurt the God of the libs, Mother Earth.

Protesting !

Now, this whole "Occupy Wall Street" demonstration has been on my nerves. It's been getting a ridiculous amount of coverage by the MSM in spite of the fact that nobody can clearly or concisely describe just exactly what they're protesting. The closest thing I could find to explaining it is from The Washington Post "“It’s about taking down systems, it doesn’t matter what you’re protesting,” she said. “Just protest.”"
"I CAN'T QUARREL WITH THAT..." And that's exactly upon what the protestors are banking.
The latest news is that several hundred protesters were arrested for blocking traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge. They claimed they were tricked into blocking the streets by the police as a way of unlawfully arresting them. Nobody seems to be interested in the fact that these protesters never bothered to file for a permit to protest. Yes- we have a right to peaceful assembly but part of ensuring that it's peaceful (in NYC at least) is that you get a permit to assemble first so that the city can ensure that an adequate number of police officers are on site to protect you and non-protesting citizens.

Anyway- this is all happening way downtown so it doesn't directly affect me too much so it doesn't bother me too much. Blog after blog mentions it in my newsreader. The MSM talks about it incessantly. I just didn't feel like giving it any more attention than it deserves. I was perfectly fine with ignoring the whole thing.

But the lads... they have a temper. And they've been drinking all day...

(Newser) – NYPD cops better lawyer up watch it when they do their job get tough with Occupy Wall Street protesters from now on, because the Marines are coming—to help interfere with the Police doing their jobs protect the demonstrators. "I'm heading up there tonight in my dress blues," announced a Marine veteran in a message reposted by another anti-war vet on his Facebook page. "So far, 15 [that's right- FIF TEEN but don't worry the MSM will make it seem like hundreds] of my fellow Marine buddies are meeting me there, also in uniform. I didn't fight for Wall Street. I fought for America." The vet adds that his "true hope is that we, as veterans, can act as a first line of defense between the police and protesters [Right- because that's not what the Police are there for in the first place. I'm not sure what police cars look like where you are but here, "Protect And Serve" is prominently featured on NYC police cars and act like it.]. If they want to mace them, they will have to get through over FIF TEEN Marines (if they actually show up) the effing Marine Corps first. Let's see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets [call me a "pessimist" but if you're going to go out looking for a fight with the NYC Police, you might just get one. You know- "maybe".]."

Marines and other vets have already been spotted in the growing movement. A photo posted on a protest tweet shows two [That's right- TW O] Marines recently in an Occupy Wall Street demonstration. One holds a sign reading: "Second time I've fought for my country. First time I've known my enemy." The 1971 Army Infantry vet who reposted the Marine's message said he plans to be at the anti-corporate demonstration planned next week in Washington with "hundreds of my fellow veterans." Protests are planned throughout the week in New York and several other cities.
Now for the record, I've got absolutely nothing against Marines or the Marine Corps it's my favorite branch of the U.S. military and the Marines I know garner my unwavering respect. This guy though? He strikes me as being one of those Marines who only joined up to make war instead of keep peace, will leap at any opportunity to get attention, and quickly moved to the middle of the crowd and the back of the line once he realized how hard it actually is to be a U.S. Marine.

I want to make this point crystal clear because with his massive assembly of over FIF TEEN marines (who may or may not even show up) and a report of spotting over 2 marines already at the protest, it's clear to me that this story is more about this one guy being a pugilistic moron than about being a Marine. I suspect that Newser iterates this fact solely to further their ideology that "see? even the U.S. Military is against the bad, evil Police (who are really just doing their job- a job which seems to elude the understanding of our Intellectual Betters who continue to fall short in their supposed understanding of complexity).
