Just A Thought

Maybe ambient temperature is important in general unrest. Wait - let me finish. The Mid-East, (Iraq, Iran, Israel, etc) are hot. Really hot. Average temps for some of our Forces in that area are 110+ degrees Fahrenheit every day. I'd be grouchy and pissed-off every day too.

When is the last time the the Inuits (Eskimos) started a war or a Jihad? How about Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, or Switzerland? Not to mention Canada, especially. This planet needs a good, long Ice Age to calm the fuck down. Cold is good for tempers.

Help, help -- global warming is back!!

I saw the article below at Ace of Spades blog (link at the bottom.)  It's so good I copied the whole thing so you wouldn't miss a single delicious bite.

What a great slap-down to morons liberals everywhere. Another example of the liberal's knowledge of history going all the way back to breakfast. Another example of a liberal immune to the experience of humiliation.

Newsweek's Global Warming Fearmongering Isn't Science, It's Science-Fiction

—Gabriel Malor

Starting in about 2008, the global warming hoax slowly started to come apart. Scientists started to recant as none of their models accurately predicted current temperatures or sea levels. Then came ClimateGate. Just a few months ago polls showed that just 35% of Americans -- a new low -- believe in anthropogenic global warming. Just last week the G8 nations finished abandoning the Kyoto Protocol.

Faced with the widespread decline in their pet theory, what are global warming believers to do? Hit the panic button:

That is Newsweek's latest cover and it comes with a hysterical fantasy from the so-called science editor. The article is one of those piece of media paranoia that is so wrong it is hard to know where to start. Since I haven't got time to fisk the whole piece, here are five obvious errors.
First, remember when global warming believers said that single-year activity (for example, the annual lows in the 2000s) didn't equate to a climate trend? She doesn't:
Even those who deny the existence of global climate change are having trouble dismissing the evidence of the last year. In the U.S. alone, nearly 1,000 tornadoes have ripped across the heartland, killing more than 500 people and inflicting $9 billion in damage.
Is the "nearly 1,000" line, which is supposed to sound like a lot, even out of the ordinary? A glance at the NOAA's annual tornado statistics suggests that it's not.
And, as I wrote last week when Oklahoma and Missouri got hit, do not under any circumstances believe that graph demonstrates a trend. As the NOAA itself admits, tornado-detection is a much more advanced science modernly than in the past. Merely comparing numbers of tornadoes, is not a meaningful comparison. Contra Newsweek's panicked editor, the IPCC concludes "There is insufficient evidence to determine whether trends exist in.....small-scale phenomena such as tornadoes, hail, lightning and dust-storms."
Second, she overlooks the obvious:
The Midwest suffered the wettest April in 116 years, forcing the Mississippi to flood thousands of square miles, even as drought-plagued Texas suffered the driest month in a century. Worldwide, the litany of weather’s extremes has reached biblical proportions.
If the Midwest was wetter 116 years ago, you've got to wonder whether phenomena other than global warming are responsible. Say, a coupled ocean-atmosphere phenomenon, perhaps.

Note the personification of the Mississippi. Ordinarily we would say that a wet spring caused the Mississippi to flood, not that the Mississippi "was forced" to flood, as if it would have resisted were it not for the cruddy humans causing global warming.
Third, she exaggerates or, well, lies about measured temperature increases.
And the temperature keeps rising: 2010 was the hottest year on earth since weather records began. . . . there is wide consensus that the 2 degrees Fahrenheit of global warming of the last century is behind the rise in sea levels, more intense hurricanes, more heat waves, and more droughts and deluges.
Note the curious circumlocution "hottest year on earth since weather records began." NewsBuster's Noel Sheppard correctly points out that the Newsweek panic editor overstated the amount of warming by almost 50%.
Fourth, she exaggerates or, well, lies about the weather of the past to imply that the weather of the future will be different.
From these and other extreme-weather events, one lesson is sinking in with terrifying certainty. The stable climate of the last 12,000 years is gone.
What "stable climate" of the last 12,000 years? Little Ice Age ring any bells, "Science Editor"?
Oh, on a lighter note, I believe that she's terrified. I just don't believe she's terrified of global warming. She's afraid that people aren't buying it anymore. And, since she has to resort to such obvious lies and exaggerations even to gin up some good-old-fashioned mob panic, you'd have to be a mental defective to fall for it.

And that's the fifth obvious problem with her article: the title -- "The Reality of Climate Change is Upon Us." Of course, rather than discuss reality, a good chunk of her article is made up of paragraphs that start "Picture [dystopian future not based on science, but on fear]." That's not reality. It's fantasy.
Moreover, it is not Newsweek's first panicked fantasy about the weather. Remember this?
Another Newsweek article cited “the most devastating outbreak of tornadoes ever recorded”, killing “more than 300 people”, as among “the ominous signs that the Earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically”. But that article was published on April 28, 1975, when Newsweek listed the US tornado disaster of 1974 as one of the harbingers of disastrous global cooling, heralding the approach of a new ice age.
Pathetic, as is anyone who would fall for this bullshit.

We need more of these ideas

The future is here already?

What started as a battle over fireworks shows led to a sweeping legal victory Friday for environmentalists that could stymie a wide range of events needing city permits, from the Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon to birthday parties held at parks.

“According to the strictest interpretation of this, jumpy-jumps and everything else would be subject to environmental review if this ruling stands,” said lawyer Robert Howard, who represented the La Jolla Community Fireworks Foundation in the case. “It’s a breathtaking ruling.”

Superior Court Judge Linda Quinn said La Jolla’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show requires evaluation under the California Environmental Quality Act, or CEQA.

The case, filed by the Coastal Environmental Rights Foundation in Encinitas, targeted San Diego’s approval of the La Jolla event but eventually drew in a broad swath of city permits. San Diego officials said they issue about 400 special-events permits annually, along with up to 20,000 park-use permits for smaller-scale gatherings — most of which would now need environmental assessment.

Ha ha ... your "government" has given these "environmental" groups standing to sue on your behalf. "Standing" is a big deal in courts and they would have no "standing" except for the idiots in congress. Because you can be sure these groups care ONLY about the environment ... they aren't interested in political power at all, nooooo.

All this idiocy and people still vote for "Democratics."  Yes, they're very "democratic."

Just a thought

Whatever happened to Global Warming? Remember when we used to hear it on the news 45 times a day?

Yes, the genius jourrrrnalists/politicians telling us how the polar ice caps were melting ... and how bad it was all going to be ... and how it was all our fault ... and unless we acted NOW we're all doomed .... ohhhh, the good old days.

Over those ten years or so I lost respect for almost all jourrrrnalists/politicians. I actually witnessed the idiots do the same thing in the 70's (on global cooling) so I really was shocked when they did the same/opposite scam again 25 years later. No problem though because the government didn't SQUANDER THE ELS OUT OF HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS, right?

How rich did Al Gore get selling carbon credits to total morons? One day I hope to see the people who perpetrated this fraud (for personal gain) face justice .... yes, I do.

Anyway, I could go on and on with this topic but I'm just going to stop here.

Auto-pen? have you heard of this?

Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.) is questioning President Obama's use of an autopen in signing an extension of the Patriot Act.

In a letter Friday, Graves asks Obama to confirm that he saw the law prior to its autopen signing.

"Mr. President, I write to request your confirmation that S. 990, as passed by Congress, was presented to you prior to the autopen signing, as well as a detailed, written explanation of your Constitutional authority to assign a surrogate the responsibility of signing bills passed into law," Graves wrote.

I never heard of an "auto-pen" so I tried to find a pic of one ... no luck.  Honestly, I wouldn't care if Obama received the thing by email and then annotated his signature on top of the bill and emailed it back.  I mean, WHO CARES how he does it as long as there is no fraud involved.

I can't believe the people who fight this guy on every insignificant item as if it's the end of the world and yet let him go on the major things.  Where are the Republicans screaming about the dipshit blocking drilling, refining, and transportation of oil?  Why aren't they on the news every day bitching like banshees and reminding everyone they are getting peeled like grapes?  No, instead they have to bitch about auto-pen.

Meanwhile, I thought - what the hell is this auto-pen and how much did the government squander on the whole shabang?  After getting all indignant about it, it appears like it's not very much sooooo ...

Anyway, do you remember when the Patriot Act was a bad idea?  Yes, remember all the newspapers telling you how evil Bush was because of it? Remember the "Democratics" telling you how bad it was?  Yes, yes -- that's because the Democratics always stand on principle.  It's never political with them ... they're always looking out for the good of the people. They simply are not the kind of people who lie through their teeth.  They know the truth and stick with it, even when it hurts.

That's why Obama-the-truthful is renewing the Patriot Act now.  He's always thought it was a good idea ... just like closing Guantanamo ... or whatever it was he told the pea-brained Democatics to get them to vote for him.

Harry Reid is just as upstanding as Obama.  Don't believe me?  Here's Harry-The-Democratic-Reid (some time ago now) telling you how great the Patriot Act is: Found the video at WAMK.

Dumbass Democratics squander your money with abandon

Jell-O wrestling at the South Pole is one of the projects detailed in the Senate report “The National Science Foundation: Under the Microscope.”

The Senate’s top watchdog on government waste, in a new report Thursday, said taxpayer money has gone to fund such programs as Jell-O wrestling at the South Pole, testing shrimp’s exercise ability on a treadmill and a laundry-folding robot, all funded by the National Science Foundation. More here:

Shrimp exercising on a treadmill ... sheesh.  It cracks me up to watch politicians squander the hell out of my money and then bitch like a banshee that they need to raise taxes on "the rich" (as if the rich aren't going to pass their costs along to me.)  And what happens when you pipe up?  The media, their voices dripping with contempt, call you a tea-bagger.

Meanwhile, all I want is to be left alone.  I don't care if the hippie-ass lesbians wrestle in Jello in the South Pole ... as long as they don't charge my wallet for the privilege.  That's the problem with "Democratics" though ... they have to drag everyone along on their journey ... they INSIST I MUST be involved.

It's part of their makeup ... they can't resist.  Even if you show them what happens to tyrants ... EVERY time ... they still won't stop.  This explains the totally shocked and indignant demeanor of tyrants when finally they face justice.

Massive Fine for Selling Rabbits

In case you missed this on moonbattery...

Massive Fine for Selling Rabbits: "

John and Judy Dollarhite of Nixa, Missouri used to raise rabbits for extra spending money. They should have signed up for food stamps instead. Our federal overlords do not take kindly to entrepreneurism. After harassment by the USDA reminiscent of K's tribulations in The Trial, the Dollarhites — who took good care of the animals, complied with all applicable state laws, and never sold them across state lines — were hit with a bizarre and massive fine:

Recently, the Dollarhites received a "Certified Mail Return Receipt" letter (dated April 19, 2011) from the USDA informing them that they had broken the law and must pay USDA a fine of $90,643. Their crime? Violating violating 9 C.F.R. § 2.1 (a) (1): Selling more than $500 worth of rabbits in a calendar year. …

Based on an average price per rabbit sold being $10.45, the fine comes out to more than $206 per rabbit. In addition, the letter contains the following statement:

APHIS [Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service] laws and regulations provide for administrative and criminal penalties to enforce these regulatory requirements, including civil penalties of up to $10,000 for each of the violations documented in our investigation.

If the threat contained in the letter is to be believed, the family could be fined as much as $10,000 per rabbit beyond the first 50 bunnies that netted the family its first $500. Do the math (390 rabbits x $10,000 each) and, if they don't pay the initial fine, they could face additional fines totaling $3.9 million.

This is why the Constitution used to have a Tenth Amendment. Consider America fundamentally transformed.

The feds come down on bunny sales.

On tips from AC and Nancy.

Shocker: Many libs are robbed and killed due to mass criminal release

Supreme Court orders California to release tens of thousands of prison inmates

Inmates sit for dinner at the California State Prison in Lancaster. A federal overseer of the state's prison system has suggested freeing the sickest inmates as a way to cut costs. (Gary Friedman / Los Angeles Times / June 10, 2010)

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court ordered California on Monday to release tens of thousands of its prisoners to relieve overcrowding, saying that "needless suffering and death" had resulted from putting too many inmates into facilities that cannot hold them in decent conditions.

The 5-4 decision represents one of the largest prison release orders in U.S. history. The court majority says overcrowding has caused 'suffering and death.'

Wow, another 5-4 decision by the Supreme Court. Isn't this like 51% of the people voting for one party and then telling the other 49% to do as they're told ... cuz "majority rules?"

Anyway, this is going to be great ... cuz the libs released all these felons and criminals onto ... wait for it ... THE IDIOT LIBS IN CALIFORNIA. LMAO!!!  Hey, maybe now the idiotlibs (one word) might focus their energy on building prisons instead of blocking the military from recruiting in Berkeley.

Anyway, I sure hope no libs suffer because of this, don't you? What's that you say? About the headline of this post? Well, ... just call me clairvoyant.

Total incompetence in our schools

Photo courtesy of The Morgan Hill Times

Five students at a California high school were forced to leave school and then face disciplinary action yesterday for the crime of wearing clothing printed with American flag designs.

If you’re wondering how being patriotic could possibly merit punishment, it’s because the kids displayed the American flags on May 5. And as everyone knows, American flags are absolutely verboten on May 5.

Right? Doesn’t anybody remember that rule? Anybody? Bueller?

According to local TV stations KTVU and NBC Bay Area, this bewildering and deeply unsettling incident happened at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, a suburban town south of San Jose. More here:

Seriously, could these people act dumber than this if they tried?  The ironing is, they're trying to show how smart they are.  I heard smart people cluck a lot, maybe they could try that ... they could cluck every third word or so.

Is this fair or unfair?

Ameneh Bahrami, who was blinded when a spurned suitor threw acid at her, asked for the same to be inflicted on him. Photograph: Lluis Gene/AFP

In a literal application of the sharia law of an eye for an eye, Iran is ready for the first time to blind a man with acid, after he was found guilty of doing the same to a woman who refused to marry him.

Majid Movahedi, 30, is scheduled to be rendered unconscious in Tehran's judiciary hospital at noon on Saturday while Ameneh Bahrami, his victim, drops acid in both his eyes, her lawyer said.

Bahrami who had asked for an eye for an eye retribution in the court, was disfigured and blinded by Movahedi in 2004 when he threw a jar of acid in her face while she was returning home from work. "He was holding a red container in his hand. He looked into my eyes for a second and threw the contents of the red container into my face," she told the court in 2008. More here:

Well, I can see why they have to sedate him ... to be sure he gets the acid in his eyes ... but what about the rest of his face?  Look what he did to her face.

Coming to a white (black) house near you

Get your tickets soon for the Michele Obama poetry reading night

It's zombie-proof but I wonder if it's Lib-proof.

Zombie-Proof Home Closing
Zombie-Proof Home 4
Zombie-Proof Home Boxed

As effective and practical as the house looks for such purposes, one wonders who would want to live in such an ugly home, especially given how unlikely a zombie apocalypse actually is. Fortunately, the house actually looks pretty appealing when opened up for everyday, non-apocalyptic living.

The home’s facade is made up almost entirely of windows, almost a necessity to add some openness and warmth to such an intimidating structure. Likewise, the open floorplan also keeps things from looking too confined, something which would also come in handy when the home is closed back up and you find yourself living in a concrete prison. A thick wall with a sliding, solid gate covers part of the property, but with the pics it’s impossible to tell if it surrounds it completely. On one side, though, we get a beautiful view of the lush lawn and many trees. That is, until you see a couple hundred zombies emerging from the green splendor in search of food.

For more ways to protect yourself, you could arm yourself with a Machete Slingshot, or protect against starvation with Zombie Jerky.

Colombian Student Asphyxiates To Death In Performance

Colombian Student Asphyxiates To Death In Performance: "

Art turned fatal for John Jairo Villamil, a thought provoking 25-year-old Colombian university student, who asphyxiated himself amidst a performance. For his act, Villamil covered his head with a garbage bag and placed his feet inside a bucket of water. His actions served as a personal critique of his hometown of Bogotá, Colombia which has been considered one of the most violent cities in the world. Since he had previously executed this piece without incident, many thought the heavy breathing and convulsion were part of the act. Villamil died at an ICU five days after being pronounced brain dead immediately following the incident. His mother, who at one point is said to have provided tips on how to make the performance more shocking, is now blaming the university for neglect.- Huffington Post

Oh oh, we better be careful not to piss off al Qaeda

The al Qaeda statement also urged the United States to treat the bodies of Osama bin Laden and those killed with him in the raid with care, and to return their bodies.

"We warn the Americans not to harm the corpse of the sheikh or expose it to any indecent treatment or to harm any members of his family, living or dead, and to deliver the corpses to their families," it said.

Right, because al Qaeda is very careful to never burn or hang the corpses of our soldiers ... nor do they ever drag them in the streets ... nor do they ever behead hostages.  Nah, they NEVER do that.

"Any harm done will open the doors of evil upon you doubly, and you will not have anyone but yourselves to blame." More here:

Yes, we'll be very careful about that, buttcheese.  I mean, we don't want to get you all riled up, now do we?

Meanwhile, what is your "organization" down to now?  About 200 members or something?  You think we're done with you?  My advice to you is to pipe down and keep hiding in your room like your fearless leader ... cuz, if you keep up with the mouth ... sooner or later, one day ... BOOM ... time's up, jackass.

Economic RECOVERY!! YAY Obama & Biden!!!

So I was reading this article and it was all kinds of flowery about how the economic recovery is just blistering along.  I totally agree ... if, by "economic recovery" you mean the economy is taking the worst beating it's taken in my lifetime.

Hey, how's the value of your house doing in this screaming recovery?  How about the prices at the grocery store?  Yes, it seems like the people who transport our food have to buy gas too?  D'OH!!!!  How's the value of our currency?  How many corporations have bolted the United States this year? How are the poor doing at the pumps? Hey, it doesn't matter.  What matters is the Democratics have finally crushed our economy but they're telling you how great everything is. Yessir ... recovery ... it's awesome.

Now, if we can only block/regulate more drilling, refining, and transporting ... which shouldn't be a problem since Obama just doubled the budget for the EPA (our environmental friends.)

(From the article linked above) The jobless rate climbed to 9 percent, the first increase since November, a separate survey of households showed.

Now, let's have a little gander/flashback to a year ago, shall we? Yes, I think we shall. Here is the genius/Democratic, Joe Biden addressing jourrrrnalists.

(Reuters) - Vice President Joe Biden predicted on Friday the U.S. economy would create 100,000 to 200,000 jobs next month, with a rise to 250,000 to 500,000 jobs per month soon afterward, according to a press pool report.

"We caught a lot of bad breaks on the way down. We're going to catch a few good breaks because of good planning on the way up," Biden told a political fundraiser in Pittsburgh, the pool report said, as he hailed the Obama administration's recovery efforts. More here:

Hey, libs -- keep voting for these Democratics ... they're so caring ... and so smart ... yes, don't worry, they're keeping their boot on the throat of "big oil." Meanwhile, how's YOUR throat doing?

Staged photo? What the hell were those people watching so intently?

What? You mean to tell me the Democrats MISLEAD us???? How can it BE???

Staged photo? What the hell were those people watching so intently?: "

You’ve probably seen this photo of the President and his national security staff watching the “live video feed” of the Osama Bin Laden raid. Oopsie! Now it turns out there was no live video feed, which gives rise to the obvious question, was there a director standing just off camera saying, “OK, now everyone look really tense.”

staged obama photo

The Telegraph UK did the work the American media couldn’t be bothered with:

Leon Panetta, director of the CIA, revealed there was a 25 minute blackout during which the live feed from cameras mounted on the helmets of the US special forces was cut off.

A photograph released by the White House appeared to show the President and his aides in the situation room watching the action as it unfolded. In fact they had little knowledge of what was happening in the compound.

Mr Panetta said: “Once those teams went into the compound I can tell you that there was a time period of almost 20 or 25 minutes where we really didn’t know just exactly what was going on. And there were some very tense moments as we were waiting for information.

staged obama photo

So strong. So reassuring. So noble. So 100% staged.

Are we being paranoid right wing bloggers eagerly making up nonsense about the Obama admnistration? Hardly. The International Business Times reports that other photos of the noble Commander In Chief were faked during the aftermath of the Osama raid:

The White House hotly debated whether to release photos of Osama Bin Laden after Sunday’s raid on his Pakistan compound, but when it came to the President’s own photos, there was only one way to go: staged.

While the photo that ran on many newspapers and websites the next morning appeared as if it were taken during Obama’s address to the nation the night before, it was actually the result of an elaborate post-speech production.

“As President Obama continued his nine-minute address in front of just one main network camera, the photographers were held outside the room by staff and asked to remain completely silent,” Reuters photographer Jason Reed explained in his blog.

“Once Obama was off the air, we were escorted in front of that teleprompter and the President then re-enacted the walk-out and first 30 seconds of the statement for us.”

Determining what’s real and what’s not becomes more difficult each day with this administration.

The photos may not be real, but the picture is becoming increasingly clearer.

A Thought

Killing people is not that difficult. Killing people that deserve it - a bit harder. There are a lot of folks that think killing OBL ended the war on terrorism. I'd argue the opposite - he was but a figurehead, and his demise will energize his followers. Letting our guard down (or celebrating) is a bit presumptuous.

Your Vocabulary Word For Today

Winston Churchill obviously liked this verbal device. So did one of my favorite stand-up comedians, Mitch Hedberg: Paraprosdokian.

Keep your eye on this video

Found it over at the J-Walk blog.

Oh joy!

After searching for 10 years without success. After 10 years of bashing the right for "enhanced interrogation". After 10 years of criticism for underground, behind-the-scenes, covert operations that go against the grain of everything that's American. After trusting the Pakistani government only to find that a house with 12-foot-tall cement walls surrounding its perimter, a house 8 times the size of any other house in the neighborhood, a house 100 yards away from the Pakistani Military Academy went unnoticed for FIVE years.

After all that, the current administration did exaxtly as the right had been recommending all that time and succeeded in a mission to (finally) kill bin Laden. All that kicking and screaming. All that preaching and lecturing. All that wasted energy and wasted time. It's as if the correct answer was staring them in the face all that time and they chose to ignore it. Of course, now that it worked, they're happy to take full credit for the entire thing. Well done.

So after all that time of dragging their heels, resisting cooperation, and incessantly criticizing the Republicans, Democrats do exactly what Republicans have been trying to do all this time and surprisingly and mysteriously succeed. Of course, now it's all different because... well... you know... "we're doing it".

To add insult to injury,
"One of the most gutsiest calls of any president in recent memory." This was John Brennan, Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, and Assistant to the President, describing President Obama's decision to launch the raid which resulted in the capture and death of Osama Bin Laden.
How ON EARTH was this a gutsy call? I mean, OBL is was public enemy number one. How ON EARTH is sending a team to kill him gutsy? To me, it's about as "gutsy" as calling the exterminator because you found evidence of termites in your home. Nevertheless, the left control the media and whenever one of their own does anything that's not disastrous, they gleefully slap them on the back and proclaim "well done!".

We can all agree that our intellectual betters Libs sound like broken records. This is counter-intuitive (that means "confusing") because we no-brain-dummies would expect that with all their vast and expansive educational backgrounds, they would be more creative in the points they try to make. Alas, all they ever accomplish is firmly cementing their viewpoint without ever convincing anyone of anything they didn't already believe.

Here's an example of classic Libspeak by the honorable and esteemed Cindy Sheehan:

Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, meanwhile, is among those who think bin Laden may be still alive and kicking. "I am sorry, but if you believe the newest death of OBL, you're stupid. Just think to yourself--they paraded Saddam's dead sons around to prove they were dead--why do you suppose they hastily buried this version of OBL at sea?" she asked.
Let's break this down.

"I am sorry"- She's not only not sorry, she's smug. Furthermore, ever notice how Libs avoid regularly used contractions (like "I'm") when they're trying to seem smart sound convincing? I swear- they think they're elevating themselves above the plebeians by avoiding contractions when it would really be much more effective just to express ideas that are intelligent and thoughtful (and logical if I'm making wishes anyway).
Libs figure that if they start out with a snarky sincere apology, they'll open the door to filling your head with otherwise blatant drivel and lies. Of course, this only works on other Libs.

"the newest death"- Well, this one is rife with Libisms. First of all, "the newest" as if "What? This is the first rumor you've heard? Have you been living under a rock?" Of course, the only people who are "in" on the rumor mill are other Libs. They're the inner circle of the inner circle. The super-cool ones. This is precisely why they're better equipped to police your thoughts, decide what's best for you and to rule the world.
Secondly, "death". "Death"? Death what? I suspect that she meant "death rumor" but never finished her thought because "you know what I meant- c'mon". Of course, those of us who are paying attention know fully well that incomplete thoughts/sentences leave her an "out" later when she needs to cover her tracks. Again, the only people who fall for that tactic are other Libs (and those with medical amnesia).

Snarky Helper Note: This is one of many examples
of the left making exactly the same mistake that
"set off a twitter storm" when a FOX News affiliate
made the same mistake earlier this week.

"OBL"- Let's face it. For pea-brains our intellectual betters, it's much safer to avoid the virtually irresistible slip of the tongue (see Moonbattery for examples) by avoiding the name all together. It's better to leave those slip-ups to those idiots at FOX News.

"you're stupid"- This, of course, is the ol' standby of Libs although with its proliferation, you'd think it was the amuse-bouche of these literary top-chefs. Let's get this straight right off the bat- if you don't agree with the speaker, there is one and only one reason. It's not because you have your facts straight, it's not because you have common sense, and it's not because your idea of intelligent thought is logical reasoning. It's because you're STUPID.

"just think to yourself"- She's really just saying, "let me do your thinking for you and this will be painless and over very soon". Then she immediately follows with the conspiracy theory du jour. Furthermore- don't start thinking out loud cuz that could lead to an intelligent discussion and THEN WHAT????

Original quote found at newser.

Weird Ideas From Wartime

Operant conditioning, stimulus/response, positive/negative reinforcement - several names were used. B.F. Skinner was a very smart man. This idea, however, was a bit odd.
If you care... how about a cat missile?
