Oooooooo - Interesting

Newt Gingrich tells a tele-townhall that Sarah Palin is someone to be considered for the Vice Presidency or Energy Secretary.

Caller: If you’re fortunate enough to be nominated, would you consider having Sarah Palin as your running mate?

Gingrich: She is certainly one of the people you would look at. I am a great admirer of hers and she was a remarkable reform governor of Alaska, she’s somebody who I think brings a great deal to the possibility of helping in government and that would be one of the possibilities. There are also some very important Cabinet positions that she could fill very, very well. I can’t imagine anybody who would do a better job of driving us to an energy solution than Gov. Palin, for example. Tell her that she would certainly be on the list of one of the people we would consider. From here:

I wonder how many lefties would suffer a smelly "death by brownout" if he picks her.

Here come the new light bulb standards - YAY LIBS!

Ha, these light bulbs are in your future.  Don't worry though, you'll be saving energy ... and the good news is these bulbs only cost 5-10 times as much as the old bulbs.  Never mind they don't last as long as they claim.  never mind they don't put out the same quality of light.  Never mind having to call the EPA in if you accidentally break one.  Forget all the problems, you're going to save the planet so get out your wallet, got that? Buttcheese?
Signed, The Braying Jackasses Communists Liberals Democratics

New light bulb efficiency standards will begin phasing in on Jan. 1 despite intense opposition from conservatives, who have blasted the rules as a textbook unnecessary federal regulation.

While Republicans secured inclusion of a measure blocking funding for enforcement of the standards in a year-end spending bill, energy efficiency groups say the provision will have little practical impact. The Energy Department rules will nonetheless go into effect at the start of 2012.

"The [spending bill] cut funding for enforcement, however the law is still in effect," said Jack Gillis, spokesman for the Consumer Federation of America. "It is our expectation that companies will still comply with the law."

Oh, he's from the "Consumer Federation of America."  That certainly sounds official doesn't it?  I like how he threatens companies ... "it is our expectation that companies will still comply ..."    Or else what, jackass?  How 'bout this, it is my expectation that liberal groups like yours should do whatever they want but stop applying their idiotic ideas to me ... i.e. leave me alone.  How would THAT be for you?  Yes, impossible.

"Consumer Federation of America" -- do they sound like they're for "consumers" to you?  Or do they sound like they're for the government?  I wonder where these asshats get their money, don't you?

I was actually going to do some more but I figured some of you would like to offer some others in the comments.  Ok then, have at it.

Gillis, of the Consumer Federation of America, added that individual companies can pressure other companies to comply with the standards in order to keep a level playing field. He said the light bulb standards got caught up in a growing wave of Republican disdain for federal regulations.

“The bottom line is the light bulb became a political victim,” Gillis said. “It was portrayed as an example of overzealous regulation, when in fact none of that is actually true.” More at thehill:

Nooooo, of COURSE it's not true.  The F E D E R A L government writing laws about light bulbs you can use isn't overzealous at all.  Nothing to see here.  Fuhgetaboutit.  See his liberal logic?  I knew you would.   See, when the founders wrote about "limited government" they really meant "unlimited."  This is why you may recall they originally got very busy in the first congresses writing laws about the kind of candle wax you could use.

Drilling for oil is certain disaster

You are looking at the Diamond Covered Mercedes of Prince Waleed. Prince Waleed is a very rich Saudi Arabian prince who seems to really like diamonds. Apparently, the car costs $4.8 million. However, you can pay $1000.00 to touch it. By the way, this is his 38th car.

LMAO - This is what this guy does with the oil money you give him while you allow communists environmennnnnnntalists to block energy production in your own country.  Keep voting for Democratics -- baaaaa, bleat - idiots.

Saudi Arabia sets lavish spending figure

Saudi Arabia has approved a stimulus budget for next year, after raising spending by one quarter in 2011 ...

The kingdom, bolstered by record high government revenues in the past 12 months, is set to spend considerably more in 2012 than it did this year, analysts say, with big increases expected in health, education and transport infrastructure. More here:

That's funny.  I wonder how they do that with only a 19% debt/GDP ratio? I think the USA just went to over 100% debt/GDP recently.  Oh yes, we're getting crushed ... gee, I wonder what group of people could be responsible for this.

Seriously though, where do the Saudis get the money to throw around like that.  Yes, it's a mystery.  How do they manage to drill for their oil with all those green environmentalists suing them every thirty seconds.  And lord knows they have environmental disasters all the time with all the drilling they do ... right?

We're lucky to have the communists Democratics blocking us from drilling oil (and other energy like nuclear, etc) because they've saved us from all those pesky but certain jobs & low oil prices disasters.

And to think, the USA used to be a very rich country with bright futures for all ... and now look at us.  They've been very busy crushing America.  THANKS GREENIES AND DEMOCRATICS!!

Whacking the idiots a trillion at a time now

(Reuters) - The White House plans to ask Congress by the end of the week for an increase in the government's debt ceiling to allow the United States to pay its bills on time, according to a senior Treasury Department official on Tuesday.

The approval is expected to go through without a challenge, given that Congress is in recess until later in January and the request is in line with an agreement to keep the U.S. government funded into 2013.

The debt is projected to fall within $100 billion of the current cap by December 30, when the United States has $82 billion in interest on its debt and payments such as Social Security coming due. President Barack Obama is expected to ask for authority to increase the borrowing limit by $1.2 trillion, part of the spending authority that was negotiated between Congress and the White House this summer.

Under the agreement struck in August during the showdown over the government's debt limit, the cap is automatically raised unless Congress votes to block the debt-ceiling extension. Lawmakers have 15 days within receiving the request to vote, which is largely symbolic because the president can veto it and Congress would be unlikely to muster the two-thirds majority to override it. Moreover, the U.S. House of Representatives also is in recess until January 17.

The deal called for raising the debt ceiling by $2.1 trillion to serve the nation's borrowing needs into 2013 and also included mandatory cuts to the federal budget deficit. Since then, the extension has been increased twice by a total of $900 billion.

The debt limit currently stands at $15.194 trillion and would increase to $16.394 trillion with the request.

LOL @ These politicians are absolutely beating you senseless.
The median net worth for a member of Congress has almost tripled in recent years as average household income has dropped, according to new research. More here:

LMAO @ "Debt limit."  Do they EVER stick with it?  Then why do they call it a limit? Oh, that's right ... the sheep .... baaaaa, bleat.

Woe is us, we could NEVER have seen this coming.  Just bad luck is all.

In the old days the cops didna lock you up for obtaining satisfaction

What's this? A tax increase? But why ... WHY?

Map is supposedly accurate as of May 2011 but NC tax is going up on Jan 1, 2012 - Found the map here:

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT & AP) - North Carolina's gasoline tax is going up by almost 4 cents a gallon starting with the new year.

And people in our area are not happy to hear about the hike. Oh really?  What a shocker.  This is what I like about the media -- always bringing us information we would otherwise miss.

"That's real crazy," said Jessica Pace, who works in Wilmington as a server at a restaurant. "Gas is already expensive. It shouldn't go up. What do they expect us to do?"

Uh, attention Jessica, they aren't concerned with "what you do."  You'll just be paying them, understand?

Revenue Secretary David Hoyle announced Tuesday the state motor fuels tax would grow by 3.9 cents per gallon to a record 38.9 cents starting Jan 1. State law directs the tax be recalculated automatically twice a year based on a formula linked to wholesale gas prices. The tax rose by 2.5 cents per gallon in July.

Yes, they make this "the law" so they don't have to vote specifically to raise taxes all the time, it just "happens" ... so you can't be mad at THEM ... right?  I mean, they didn't realize what would happen, this is a total accident ... but they won't fix it because, well, it's not the right time.

The North Carolina House voted last month to cap the tax at 35 cents for six months, but the Senate declined to take up the bill, saying it wasn't the right time to consider the change. See?  Not the right time.  Certainly you can understand that.

We talked to folks in Wilmington who are against the prices going up.

"I don't think it should," said Pam Langengger, who works as a mechanic. "Come on. We're barely able to feed our kids."

Hey, Pam, tough shit.  Keep voting for people who will steal your money with abandon. Keep voting for people who will block/restrict/tax drilling and exploration.

It's funny too, because when the evil corporations raise their prices to pass along government imposed costs it's because the company is EVIL.  But when the government does it directly, it's not evil at all ... just "necessary."

But don't worry Pam, hang in there ... I'm sure they'll stop raising your taxes soon and your personal liberty will be expanded.  No need to get involved in politics ... don't go to the polls to vote ... don't talk to your friends about the solutions .... just keep waiting ... baaaaaa, bleat.

We tried to contact State Senator Thom Goolsby to get further explanation on why the Senate didn't take up the measure. He has not returned our phone calls.

Well, allow me, the lowly Klown, to take a shot at explaining it.  Here's the call, the taxes will go up because the state doesn't have enough of your money yet.  Recession?  Doesn't matter.  Lost your job?  Yawn, who cares, lots of people have lost jobs ... that doesn't mean the government should have to suffer.  I mean, after all, this economy isn't the government's fault ... right?

Take heart though because soon they will have enough of your liberty and money.  Then everything will be fine ... so just relax and wait for that day to come.

Poor armed robber assaulted by violent store clerk

... said he dragged the man over to a desk and held him down with one hand and called 911 with the other.

The man eventually regained consciousness. “He kind of begged me, begged me to let him go,” Mothershead said.  “I said, 'You came in and tried to rob us. You’re going to jail.'”

While they waited for police and paramedics, Mothershead gave the man a roll of power towels, sprayed the floor with cleaner and told him to clean up his own blood. More here:

I'm guessing that Mothershead isn't an idiot lib.

Christmas "feel good" story

MELBOURNE, Fla. – A man involved in a home invasion in Melbourne, Fla., was inadvertently shot by one of his accomplices who was trying to shoot the resident, police told the Orlando Sentinel Sunday.

Cops said 20-year-old Nathaniel James Clay broke in to a house in the 2800 block of Colbert Circle, about 70 miles southeast of Orlando, about 9:40pm Saturday, along with two other men.

The resident living at the property got into a fight with Clay, Central Florida News reported, with the accused struck several times with a baseball bat.

Oh, I hope he got him in the throat and nose with the bat ... please let his larynx be crushed ... oh, and the teeth, I hope he knocked his teeth completely out of his head.

Investigators said one of Clay's accomplices then tried to shoot the resident, but instead inadvertently shot Clay.

D'oh, woopsie daisy - I guess guns don't exactly work like in the movies, eh? LMAO!!  Another story says he shot him several times in the lower extremities.  I sure hope he didn't shoot his penis off, don't you?

Clay was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in the wake of the incident, while detectives were Sunday still hunting for his accomplices, who fled the scene.

Police said Clay would be arrested on a charge of home-invasion robbery when he is released from the hospital. More here: & here:

Hey, it's probably their first brush with the law, right?  They'll probably all learn their lesson from this most unfortunate incident.

Woe is us - nothing can be done about criminals beating innocent citizens

Matthew Quain still struggles to piece together what happened after a trip to the grocery store nearly turned deadly. He remembers a group of loitering young people, a dimly lit street -- then nothing. The next thing he knew he was waking up with blood pouring out of his head.

The 51-year-old pizza kitchen worker's surreal experience happened just before midnight earlier this year, when he became another victim of what is generally known as "Knockout King" or simply "Knock Out," a so-called game of unprovoked violence that targets random victims.

The rules of the game are as simple as they are brutal. A group -- usually young men or even boys as young as 12, and teenage girls in some cases -- chooses a lead attacker, then seeks out a victim. Unlike typical gang violence or other street crime, the goal is not revenge, nor is it robbery. The victim is chosen at random, often a person unlikely to put up a fight. Many of the victims have been elderly. Most were alone.

The attacker charges at the victim and begins punching. If the victim goes down, the group usually scatters. If not, others join in, punching and kicking the person, often until he or she is unconscious or at least badly hurt. Sometimes the attacks are captured on cellphone video that is posted on websites.

"These individuals have absolutely no respect for human life," St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay said.

Hey, I know, let's start a game of our own ... we'll call it "Kill violent shitstain criminals very fast."  And this mayor would be a natural to start it ... with his great last name "Slay."

Slay knows firsthand. He was on his way home from a theater around 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 when he saw perhaps a dozen young people casually crossing a street. He looked to the curb and saw Quain sprawled on the pavement.

Slay told his driver to pull over. They found Quain unconscious, blood pouring from his head and mouth.

Quain was hospitalized for two days with a broken jaw, a cracked skull and nasal cavity injuries. He still has headaches and memory problems but was finally able to return to work earlier this month. Hundreds gathered in November for a fundraiser at the restaurant where he works, Joanie's Pizza, but he still doesn't know how he'll pay the medical bills.

It isn't clear how long Knockout King has been around, nor is the exact number of attacks known. The FBI doesn't track it separately, but Slay said he has heard from several mayors about similar attacks and criminologists agree versions of the game are going on in many places.

St. Louis Police Chief Dan Isom said the city has had about 10 Knockout King attacks over the past 15 months.

Experts say it is a grab for attention.

Really?  Is that what "experts say?" And what ISN'T a grab for attention these days? I have stopped caring pretending to care about the reasons for violent behavior.

I just want the violent people to:
1 - Suffer the same/equivalent fate/pain as their victims (times two or three.)
2 - Be removed from the presence of other humans ... with increasing periods of separation each time they engage in this behavior (i.e. initiating the use of force on other people.) No, they cannot go "on the yard" while in prison ... I said separated from other humans, period.  In other words, make prison a place they do NOT want to go, instead of being like old home week with their compadres.
3 - Be executed within 90 days after their trial for maiming or murder (or attempt at same) -- or after their third violent offense, (armed robbery etc) whichever comes first.

That's right, I'm not interested in paying to have them "rehabilitated.."  Nor am I interested in whether they learn their lesson ... it would be nice if they did but that's not a huge concern to me.

"We know that juveniles don't think out consequences clearly," said Beth Huebner, an associate professor of criminology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. "They see something on YouTube and say, `I want to get that sort of attention, too.' They don't think about the person they're attacking maybe hitting their head."

Really?  Wow!  What great insight.  You must be a genius lib.  And are you excusing or justifying the behavior? Or are you just trying to show us how smart and thoughtful you are?  And how much of my tax money went to fund the critical "study" that uncovered this valuable and heretofore unknown information?  Never mind, I don't care, just stfu.

Scott Decker, a criminologist at Arizona State, said the attacks are a modern extension of gang-like behavior -- instead of painting over another gang's graffiti as a show of toughness, they beat someone up and post a video on social media sites. The postings spur copycat crimes.

"It's adolescent and early adults, largely male, showing how tough they are. It's done to show off," Decker said.

Yes, because everyone knows how dangerous it is for a gang to attack a homeless geriatric.  My God, they're risking life and limb ... but that's all part of being "tough" right?  Now listen, genius Scott Decker, I submit to you that they think this is funny ... and they do it (post the video) to show their sense of humor.  Because, hey look, we can flaunt the law with impunity.  How 'bout that?  And I didn't need one penny of tax payer money to figure it out either.

Earlier this year in Chicago, a group of teens followed an elderly homeless man at a train station. One of the teens walked up to him and punched him in the face, knocking him out as the teen's friends laughed and mocked the man. The exchange was captured on video and posted on a hip-hop site, where it got about a quarter of a million views within two days. The teen was not arrested because police couldn't locate the homeless man to see if he wanted to press charges. More here:

Right, because if they can't locate the victim, the "law" says we all have to pretend it didn't happen.  Curses, those evil geniuses outsmarted us again, Watson!!

I like the whole idea -- almost

ACKWORTH, Ga. - Some Georgia parents who have been struggling to buy gifts for their kids this Christmas got some last-minute help from Secret Santas. Dozens of families whose layaway accounts have been in jeopardy have been told that anonymous donors gave them quite a gift.

It’s a Secret Santa trend taking hold across the country, including here in metro Atlanta. Anonymous donors have been paying off customers’ layaway accounts, and now it’s happened at a Walmart store in Cherokee County.

“A week and a half ago, our first person came in and wanted to be a Secret Santa and pay off someone's layaway,” said store manager Robert Finch.

Finch says more than $3,000 has been paid off on layaway accounts in the last 10 days alone. Typically, Finch says donors come into the store and request to pay on an account that has toys and may be delinquent. They notify the customers, most times immediately, and they say the news is often shocking to the lucky recipients. From here:

Mmmm, hmmm.  Something tells me this particular instance of the secret Santa is the work of well intentioned but naive peeps libs.  Listen, I love the whole idea of this ... especially the anonymous part; however, why does it have to be "delinquent accounts?"

And, what do you mean "may be delinquent?"  How did that "qualifier" get in there?  See, when I hear stuff like this, my Klowny senses start tingling ... because HUH?

"Yes sir, I'd like to anonymously pay off a layaway account ... I request my payment go to an account which has toys on it and may be delinquent." I mean, is it just me or does this need further clarification?

Whenever I run across something like this in the media ... where I feel like I'm not getting the truth all the information, I know dedicated libs are at work ... helping me to know what I should be thinking.

Assuming that this is "the whole truth," (and I doubt very seriously that it is) why payoff delinquent accounts and disregard the people who have paid on time?  I mean, I see the sentiment behind it but I think it is misplaced.  It also may be sending the wrong message for future years ... i.e. if you want a chance to get free stuff, just put it on layaway and don't make the payments ... you know .. like a lottery ... a lottery where the store has to pay the storage costs and manage the inventory for a couple of months ... cuz that's free, right?

It actually occurred to me that the store may be making a minimum payment on delinquent accounts (and alerting the media) in order to guilt the "recipients" into picking the payments back up and making them feel they have more to lose now that they are further invested in this thing.  Probably not true of course but that's just the cynic in the back of my mind ... you know ... the thing that distinguishes me from idiot-libs total dupe-niks.

I suggest ignoring whether or not the account is late ... just pick a random account (with toys, if you insist) that has a balance you can afford and pay it off ... or some of it ... or whatever.

And another thing ... I'm just a regular moron off the street and yet I know this almost instinctively ... without having to give it much thought at all ... just the basic "don't reward bad behavior or you'll get more of it."   How does this always escape the average genius lib.  Quite a mystery I tell ya.

A riddle you don't have to be a genius to solve

Jonathan Swift (30 November 1667 – 19 October 1745) was an Irish satirist, essayist, political pamphleteer (first for the Whigs, then for the Tories), poet and cleric who became Dean of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. From Wikipedia:

I added one word in this riddle -- to make it a little easier (in my mind) to solve.  Good luck.  Don't give up too quickly.  I found it at the Futility Closet and you can click over there for the answer should you find it necessary.

A riddle by Jonathan Swift:

We are five little airy creatures,
All of different voice and features:
One of us in glass is set,
One of us you’ll find in jet,
T’other you may see in tin,
And the fourth a box within;
If the fifth you should pursue,
It can never fly from you.

What are we?

Klown prediction ... Ladies and Gentlemen, "We got 'im"

December 21, 2011: Maricopa County Sheriff's Office immigration jail officers who lost their federal power to check whether inmates are in the county illegally, turn in their credentials after federal officials pulled the Sheriff's office immigration enforcement powers in Phoenix.

Dozens of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's jail officers lined up at a news conference in Phoenix Wednesday to ceremoniously hand in their federal credentials a week after they were stripped of the ability to verify the immigration status of inmates.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Dec. 15 that more than 90 of Arpaio's Maricopa County jail officers could no longer check whether inmates were in the county illegally.

The decision followed the release of a scathing Department of Justice report that said Arpaio's office has a pattern of racially profiling Latinos, basing immigration enforcement on racially charged citizen complaints and punishing Hispanic jail inmates for speaking Spanish.

Aren't you proud? I mean, after all, we can't be letting some elected sheriff run around enforcing the law now can we?  Of course not, that would be illogical.  That's what I love about idiot-libs ... always so reasoned and logical.

Homeland Security's decision wasn't the first time Arpaio's federal immigration powers were cut.

In October 2009, Immigration and Customs Enforcement stripped Arpaio of his power to let 100 deputies make federal immigration arrests, but still allowed his jail officers to determine the immigration status of people in jail.
More here:

Whew.  We stopped this just in time.  I don't know who this sheriff thinks he is ... trying to determine whether shit-stain criminals are in the country legally or not.  How DARE HE?  He's really pushing his power around, don't you think?

So, what's the call ... is there such a thing as an illegal alien anymore?  I know one thing, the media never mentions it ... isn't that funny?

And finally, I predict the idiot-libs are going to get Sheriff Joe.  Either they'll make him resign and leave him alone or they're going to jail him after their media has successfully dressed him up as a witch and presented him to the American people as such.  And the witch-dressing has already begun (and Sheriff Joe knows it.)

This is one of the things I love about idiot-libs

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - The Hamburg Inn in Iowa City has long been a popular stop for presidential candidates, but it probably won't be high on Rep. Michele Bachmann's list anymore.

About two dozen activists with Occupy Iowa City packed the diner before Bachmann arrived Thursday, then loudly chanted in unison as she tried to mingle with supporters. Their chant blasted the Minnesota congresswoman's position on gay rights, health care and taxes and ended with: "You're not wanted here. So go, just go."

The restaurant's manager says the campaign blared Christmas songs over a sound system to drown out the protesters. Police arrived as tensions rose, but no one was arrested.

Bachmann seemed undeterred. Before leaving, she thanked the owner, praised the food and said it was great to be in Iowa City.

Here you find the idiot-libs engaging in their favorite thing ... "teaching lessons." Yes, yes ... they have so much knowledge they need to share with others so they're always teaching lessons to people ... and one of the best ways to teach people is to talk over them and drown them out.

The "tolerant" liberals.  You can disagree with them but, if you do, they won't let you speak.  You know why?  Because if someone heard an alternative view they might be carved out of the herd agree ... and we just can't have that now can we?

That's right, if you can't persuade people with logic and reasoning then just prevent them from hearing the opposing viewpoint ... it works great on some types of people.  After all, there are many who won't seek out the opposing viewpoint.  There are many who don't question incongruous "logic" ... we call them "idiot-libs."

I like her (except for her constantly referring to her religion) and would be comfortable with her being President or Vice President.

Btw - I loved the pic of Michele here.  She looks ... different ... more relaxed.

Most of the time I see her it's on TV and she's behind a podium, heavily made up and stiff as a board.  Seriously, she usually looks like she's got her butt-cheeks clenched like a neo-nazi in a black/gay prison.

Idiot libs

When Long Island filmmaker Ellen Cooperman divorced her husband in 1975, she changed her last name to Cooperperson because it “more properly reflects [my] sense of human equality than does the name Cooperman.”

State Supreme Court Justice John Scileppi refused to ratify the change, saying that it “would have serious and undesirable repercussions, perhaps throughout the entire country.”

He cited “virtually endless and increasingly inane” possibilities: A person named “Jackson” might seek to become “Jackchild,” a “Manning” might prefer “Peopling,” or a woman named “Carmen” might want to be “Carperson.” “This would truly be in the realm of nonsense,” he said.

Undaunted, she appealed Scileppi’s decision and won in 1978. She’s still using Cooperperson today. Found it at the Futility Closet.

Idiot libs make great "referees"

A Dutch football match ended in farce after one of the teams walked off the pitch in protest at having their goalkeeper sent off - for fighting with a fan.

A drunk hooligan ran on to the field to attack AZ Alkmaar's No.1 during the first half of their Cup match with former European champions Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena last night.

But Costa Rican Esteban Alvarado showed all his agility as he launched a kung fu kick at the teenage thug, sending him crashing to the floor.

The Alkmaar keeper then landed a couple of kicks at the prostrate fan before security guards dragged the invader away.

Referee Bas Nijhuis astonished the away side, however, by red-carding the goalkeeper. Alkmaar coach Gertjan Verbeek then ordered his side to walk off in protest. Nijhuis said: 'I understand that Esteban was defending himself, but he walked to him (the supporter) and kicked him multiple times. He could also have walked away.' More (with video) here

Yes, because you're supposed to walk away, let the soccer hooligan get up and attack you again. Don't you know ANYTHING? Sheesh.

Yes its never my fault

Dumbest employees of 2011

There's no shortage of consumers who love the tasty sandwiches served up by fast-food chain Chick-fil-A. But a recent incident in Southern California showed poor taste on the part of a cashier who mocked two Asian customers.

According to the Los Angeles Times, rather than typing the consumers' actual names, the employee instead noted their names as "Ching" and "Chong" on the receipts. Photos of the receipts were posted on a Tumblr account belonging to University of California, Irvine, student Kelvin Lee, a friend of the customers. The post then spread through the blogosphere, attracting more negative attention to the Atlanta-based company, which is already under fire by some groups for its openly Christian roots and connection to conservative stances, the Times notes. More here

OK, first of all, it's not "Ching and Chong" it's "Cheech and Chong." Sheesh.   If you read the article you'll find that Kelvin Lee (the friend of the customers) is very smart, reasonable, and practical about the whole thing ... i.e. obviously not an idiot-lib.

Secondly, "under fire for being openly Christian???" What does that mean? Are these groups "under fire" for being openly stupid? Is the Times "under fire" for including stupidity such as this in their "objective reports?"

I love how they include "the Times notes."  Yes, they "note" it to help you learn ... you know ... so you'll have all the relevant AND irrelevant facts.  The Times would never want you to go without knowing the WHOLE STORY, right, Times?

"Openly Christian." Unreal.

OK, you can read the rest of the dumbest employee shenanigans here:

Matt Damon -- the genius -- you should do as he says

Matt Damon rips President Obama in Elle magazine, blasting his leadership qualities and saying he’d prefer “a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done.”

The actor, a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party and onetime Obama advocate, reveals frustration with the administration in his wide-ranging interview. “I’ve talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level,” says Damon. “One of them said to me, ‘Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician.’”

Damon then gets even more direct with his own criticism.

“You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of this country, much better,” argues the We Bought a Zoo star. More here:

Oh, pipe down, you canned ham.

This is what I love about libs ... they think the government should be "doing stuff ... getting stuff done."  And why do they think this way?  Because the media tells them to, that's why?  They don't even stop to think that maybe it isn't the government's business to be "doing stuff."  They think if the government isn't "doing stuff" then it's somehow a bad thing.

Meanwhile, who, in their right mind, wants 536 morons in Washington DC "doing stuff?"  I want them to stick to defending my life, liberty, and property ... not taking it away with every little "rule" they dream up.  And what do you mean they aren't "doing stuff?"  Here's a graph of government rules/regulations ... i.e. "doing stuff."

Do you think compliance with these "rules" is free?  Do you think it costs business nothing to implement these "rules?"  Or do you realize it's actually a hidden tax ... built into the cost of everything you buy?

That's right, they "take" your private property (money you worked for.)  Remind you of anything?  What is it called when someone makes you work for free? Or in this case, makes you work for whatever they think is "fair" ... and above that they have at your cash in a way that would make Blackbeard proud.

So, here's the call, "Matt" ... you and people like you can go to hell.  You have no right telling me to adopt your thinking ... such as it is.  I don't care what you think, I don't want anything from you, I want you to leave me alone ... get it?  Now, cram it up your ass.

What's this now? The Klown agrees with Hugo Chavez?

It seems that Hugo Chavez recent offered some sage advice to presdink Owe-bama.

Chávez’s comments came in the wake of Obama’s Monday written interview with the Caracas paper El Universal, where the U.S. president questioned Venezuela’s connections to those countries. Chávez hit back strongly at Obama on state TV Monday, according to The Guardian, saying the president gave the interview only to “win votes” in the 2012 election.

“Mr. Obama decided to attack us,” Chávez said. “Now you want to win votes by attacking Venezuela. Don’t be irresponsible. You are a clown, a clown. Leave us in peace … Go after your votes by fulfilling that which you promised your people.”

“Focus on governing your country, which you’ve turned into a disaster,” Chávez said, according to The Guardian. More here:

What's that you said there, Chavez?  "Mind your own business?" ... "Leave us in peace?"

LMAO, Chavez ... you, of all people, should know that libs cannot "leave people alone."   It's just not in their nature.  You have to understand ... libs are geniuses and as such, they need to tell others how to live their lives.  Yes, and they need to determine who the witches are as well.

Woops, killed ya ... sorry 'bout that

FREDERICKSBURG, Ohio (AP) -- A man cleaning his muzzle-loading rifle shot the gun into the air, accidentally killing a 15-year-old Amish girl driving a horse-drawn buggy more than a mile away, a sheriff said Tuesday.

Rachel Yoder was shot in the head Thursday night while traveling to her home in Wayne County, between Columbus and Akron. She had attended a Christmas party for employees, most of them under 18 years old, at an Amish produce farm and was riding home alone when she was shot, Wayne County sheriff's Capt. Douglas Hunter said.

The horse continued to cart the girl after she was shot, and she fell out of the buggy near her home, Holmes County Sheriff Timothy Zimmerly said. Her brother found her after he saw the horse walking in circles and went to check it. Authorities initially believed she had fallen out of the buggy and hit her head until a hospital test revealed the gunshot wound.

Hunter said his department traced a trail of blood along the road for about three-eighths of a mile into Holmes County in an area of farms and rolling hills.

Zimmerly said the gun-cleaner's family came forward and his neighbors reported hearing a shot at about the time the girl was wounded.

The man had fired the gun in the air about 1.5 miles from where Yoder was shot, Zimmerly said. State investigators were checking the rifle for a ballistics match, he said.

"In all probability, it looks like an accidental shooting," Zimmerly said.

No charges have been filed. More here:

Excuse me?  No charges have been filed?  Someone's careless and irresponsible action led to the death of another person and "no charges have been filed?"  Because why?  Because "I didn't mean to?"

As far as I'm concerned they can take that reckless asshole and jail him for the rest of his life.  Anyone who would take such a chance ... recklessly risking the LIVES of other people, needs to be in jail and watched over like the idiot he is ... for life.  People like that don't "learn lessons."  Otherwise the little girl wouldn't be DEAD right now.

Oh woe is us ... if only we had more gun laws to prevent tragedies such as this.

How would it be if you could talk to ghosts?

The part I like best? The way the government expects you to pay for whatever the hell they want. You go to work and earn money ... they steal whatever they want and give it to their buddies ... meanwhile running up the debt with no concerns WHAT-so-ever ... because, screw you, jackass ... what are you gonna do about it?

Oh, and no way they can find anything to cut ... nope ... everything has been cut to the bone ... gonna have to increase taxes. Only on the evil rich though ... and don't worry ... when we raise taxes on evil Walmart corporations, they won't pass the tax along to you in increased prices ... no way they would do that ... would they?

How fast are you

Condi for VP??

America’s first black female secretary of state is quietly positioning herself to be the top choice of the eventual Republican presidential nominee, ready to deliver bona fide foreign-policy credentials lacking among the candidates. The 56-year-old has recently raised her profile, releasing her memoir in November and embarking on a monthlong book tour.

After 2 1/2 years as a professor at Stanford, Miss Rice is reportedly getting “antsy” to get back into the political game. “She’s ready to go,” said one top source.

Ready indeed. She still rises at 5:30 a.m. and runs through a vigorous P90X workout. (Her guns are now a match for those of first lady Michelle Obama.) Sure, she’s been playing a lot of golf, and no doubt banging on the piano (sometimes with cellist Yo-Yo Ma), but she’s clearly ready for more.

Her addition to the ticket, which wouldn’t come until late next summer, would dramatically change the dynamics of the 2012 election. As a black woman - her family has roots in the Deep South stretching back to before Civil War era, and worked as sharecroppers after emancipation - she would mute Democrats’ charges of racism among conservatives, especially tea party members. And her sex would likely prompt moderate women to take a serious look at the Republican ticket. More here:

Ok, the thing that prompted this blog post was the sentence containing "she would mute Democrats’ charges of racism among conservatives, especially tea party members."

Um, speaking for myself, I couldn't care less what names idiot-libs call me.  They like to call conservatives racists and morons etc ... but really, who cares anymore.  Just sounds like the morose bleating of sheep to me.  They've done it for so long it has become tiresome and weak.

As for my thoughts on Condoleeza Rice, I used to think she was awesome ... until I heard some liberal expressions come out of her.  Of course, she always does it in a thoughtful manner which sometimes puts me off guard ... but I always come to my senses eventually.  Anyway, I'll keep an open mind on her ... but she has something to prove before I'll give my support.  For example, I need to hear her say things like:

Is that too much to ask?  Or am I a a racist?  Seriously, ask me if I care about ... wait, I see a sandwich, brb.

New business opportunity

A terrible shame

MIAMI GARDENS (CBS4) – A thief apparently looking to steal copper from equipment on the roof of a Miami-Dade school fell more than two stories, a debilitating plunge that left him unable to walk, apparently with a broken hip or leg.

The hapless Spiderman was captured by security cameras at Charles Wyche Elementary School in Miami Gardens.  He arrives, wearing a ski mask, and begins to arrange ropes he’s carrying for a climb up the outside wall of the school to the roof, more than two stories above.   Moments later a second camera angle shows the man falling to the ground – a drop of more than 25 feet – where he begins to writhe in pain.  The intruder dragged himself out on to a walkway and attempted to stand up, but immediately fell back down.  He then dragged himself on his belly out of the school, pushing a pair of bolt cutters in front of him. More with video here:

Heh, gee, that's too bad.  I hope nothing happened to his teeth in that fall ... you know ... like bashing against cement curbing or something.  Because who cares about little kids needing heating/air conditioning in school ... that's nothing compared to YOUR need for free money, right, jackass?

My only regret is he wasn't killed in the attempt.  We can always hope though.  It's possible he sustained internal injuries and will go ahead and be removed from the earth.

Mom comes for a visit and meets the "roomate"

Mrs. Ravioli comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner. He lives with a female roommate, Maria.  During the course of the meal, his mother couldn’t help but notice how pretty Anthony’s roommate is.  Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Anthony and his roommate than met the eye.

Reading his mom’s thoughts, Anthony volunteered, “I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Maria and I are just roommates.”

About a week later, Maria came to Anthony saying, “Ever since your mother came to dinner, I’ve been unable to find the silver sugar bowl.  You don’t suppose she took it, do you?”

“Well, I doubt it, but I’ll email her, just to be sure.”  So he sat down and wrote an email:

Dear MaMa,

I’m not saying that you “did” take the sugar bowl from my house ; I’m not saying that you “did not” take it.
But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Your Loving Son

The next day, Anthony received a response email from his MaMa which read:

Dear son,
I’m not saying that you “do” sleep with Maria, and I’m not saying that you “do not” sleep with her.
But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the sugar bowl by now.
Your Loving MaMa

Choose your candidate

Yeah, I kinda knew this already but I'm not convinced Ron Paul can win ... yet.  If I become convinced he can win I'll probably vote for him.  Otherwise, I still haven't made up my mind.  Too bad the media succeeded in "getting" Herman Cain.

Don't worry, Obama is here to save the day

A Senate source tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that congressional leaders have worked out a two-month budget deal that includes a fully-funded extension of the payroll tax cut. The deal will also require the Obama administration to decide within 60 days on whether or not it will approve construction of the Keystone oil pipeline. President Obama has threatened to veto any deal that includes the Keystone pipeline provision. From here:

You know, you really have to wonder why Democratics vote AGAINST each and every item that has to do with Americans getting cheaper oil ... and vote FOR each and every item that raises the cost of our oil.  In this case, Obama's veto also means that 20,000 people won't be getting jobs ... good paying jobs.

I guess the Democratics don't care that you have other things to do with your money rather than pour it into your gas tank.  No, they want to teach you a damn lesson.  What's the lesson?  I don't know but they are going to teach it to you come hell or high water.  What's that?  You don't like it?  Tough shit, jackass, keep voting for Democratics.

It's about time you GD idiots

Congressional negotiators struck a deal Thursday that overturns the new rules that were to have banned sales of traditional incandescent light bulbs beginning next year.

That agreement is tucked inside the massive 1,200-page spending bill that funds the government through the rest of this fiscal year, and which both houses of Congress will vote on Friday. Mr. Obama is expected to sign the bill, which heads off a looming government shutdown.

Congressional Republicans dropped almost all of the policy restrictions they tried to attach to the bill, but won inclusion of the light bulb provision, which prevents the Obama administration from carrying through a 2007 law that would have set energy efficiency standards that effectively made the traditional light bulb obsolete. More here:

How about that ... the conservatives had to fight the "Democratics" for your freedom ... again ... only this time, they won.  I have a feeling people have had about enough of the job-killing morons in the EPA and elsewhere in the government.

Neil Cavuto pwns OWS genius.

I'm not sure what it is about black framed glasses among hipsters but half the time, they don't even have lenses and the other half, they only have plain glass in the frames. I guess those doofuses have convinced themselves that wearing glasses makes you seem smarter. That's about like thinking that walking past a library makes you seem learned.

Libs have trouble getting anything right.

This is the first paragraph in an article about Christopher Hitchens' recent demise. I don't agree with what Christopher Hitchens believes but I've read his book God is not Great. I found his assertions to be fraught with the angst of a young teenager just aching for some guidance from anybody. Somehow though, his disdain and anger have done as much to reinforce my faith in God than any other publication I've recently read.

What I find most disturbing about this first paragraph though is the first sentence wherein the author falls into the classic trap of telephone where if you hear something misquoted enough times, you feel convinced that it's the actual and original quotation.

For those who (somehow) don't know, the correct quotation is "Whatever hurts you but doesn't kill you makes you stronger." That's a big difference if you ask me.
Reviewing familiar principles and maxims in the face of mortal illness, Christopher Hitchens has found one of them increasingly ridiculous: “Whatever doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.” Oh, really? Take the case of the philosopher to whom that line is usually attributed, Friedrich Nietzsche, who lost his mind to what was probably syphilis. Or America’s homegrown philosopher Sidney Hook, who survived a stroke and wished he hadn’t. Or, indeed, the author, viciously weakened by the very medicine that is keeping him alive.

Lib jourrrrnalist (redundant) waxes indignant

Horror as woman is stabbed to death 'by her husband' in Walmart - and the store stays OPEN as officers investigate bloody crime scene

A South Carolina man has been charged with murder in the death of his wife, who was fatally stabbed inside a Greenville County Walmart this weekend.

But as shoppers looked on in horror, store management roped off the area for homicide investigators and continued to operate as usual.

Avery L Blandin, 46, is accused of killing Lilia Blandin, 38, who worked at the Woodforest Bank inside the discount retail store in Berea.

Ok, this is a sad story with a couple of hysterical parts.  The first one being this "objective jourrrrrnalist" ensures that you are HORRIFIED that Walmart stayed open.

That's right, never mind a bloody murder has taken place, the true "crime" is Walmart staying open to take care of customers and employees.  Of course, for libs, duty number one is to hate Walmart with all your being.

I guess the idiot lib self-proclaimed genius jourrrrnalist thinks everything would be better if Walmart had closed.  Yes, that would fix everything.  That cracks me up about libs ... they simply MUST "do something" (in this case, close the store) even when their actions contribute nothing, and are, in fact, harmful to other people.  The libs pretend their violent flailings actions mean something but, in reality, they don't.

This moron jourrrrrnalist wanted them to close the store -- and he grabbed himself a whole pantload of indignance over the fact they didn't.  Libs are good about being indignant, aren't they? And it never takes them long either ... let's just say you don't want to drop a hat around them.

I'm guessing his "reasoning" (such as it is, with libs)  would be "close the store out of respect ..." but libs never take into account how much that would cost ... because cost is never, and I mean NEVER, an issue with idiots libs.  What about the employees?  They're supposed to take a pay cut?  How does THAT help anyone?

Also, what about the other customers?  If other people came to Walmart and found the store closed, does their inconvenience somehow set things right?  Idiot.

Ok, here's the second hysterical part.  This guy, Mr Tallent, sees the stabbing and he gets involved.

Shopper Phillip Tallent told local station WYFF4 he was looking for Christmas lights
with his family when the horrifying scene unfolded, and he intervened.

Mr Tallent said "When I looked, I could see a couple of stabbing motions, and I really started to run towards the front (of the store)."

He continued: 'I seen it when (the man) was making a stomping motion at (Lilia Blandin) across her chest and neck area. I picked up the chair and I hit him.'

Heh, he must watch rasslin' on TV.

Mr Tallent said a man deputies identified as Avery Blandin ran towards the door with several witnesses failing in attempts to stop him.

He said the man fled the scene after pulling out a second knife.

'That's when I let him go because I already seen what he did with the first one, so I wasn't going to get involved with the next one,' Mr Tallent said.

Well then, so much for "None shall pass," eh, Mr Tallent? Just kidding ... please note I'm not denigrating Mr Tallent here.  I think he had great courage to intervene and it's probably a smart move to get out of the way when you're in a fight with a crazed murderer and he has a knife and you don't ... you know .. but that's just me, you judge for yourself.  The funny part is the guy's honesty.  I'm guessing Mr Tallent isn't a lib.

Ok, you can read the rest, see pics of the perpetrator and victim, view videos etc here.
