Libs... they lobby to pass laws to get innocent people jailed (or at least sued) and then they lobby to get "innocent" people out of jail... they just LOVE conflict... LOVE IT... I'm reading this article- lord knows why- and it's just asinine...
Full Article

Some excerpts followed by my whinings...

We analyzed nearly two dozen cases in the United States and Canada in which people have been accused of killing children based on flawed or biased work by forensic pathologists, and then later cleared.

TWO DOZEN! WOWIE! What's that? Like 0.002% of ALL cases in the US and Canada? There's no mention of a timeframe here so who knows what the facts are but "nearly two dozen cases" sure sounds like a lot of cases!

An El Paso, Texas, jury acquitted a woman of killing her child in 2010, but after spending 22 months in the county jail, she still had to wage a legal battle to regain custody of her other children.

Wage a legal battle? That sure sounds dramatic. I suspect it was more likely "filed papers". All those legal loops through which you have to jump sure are a pain. Who'd think that all that government would ever come back to bite the people who created it all right in the ass?

"OK, my ... We're babysitting this little baby girl for Dr. Vas," said Lopez, according to a recording and transcript of the call. A spider, he explained, had bitten Isis a week earlier, "and she's been acting funny ever since."

She was bitten A WEEK AGO and has been acting funny ever since? She was described as 6 months old. How do you wait a WEEK after a spider bite AND strange behavior to see the pediatrician- especially when the parents are not only doctors but real doctors?

Lopez and his wife, DeAnn, regularly babysat Isis and her two older siblings, both toddlers. The children's mother, Veronica Vas, was a physician at a nearby hospital, and on that morning she was on her way to Detroit for the weekend.

Okay- the parents must be very busy people... very busy. They've had someone babysitting their children for a week and now the mother is leaving for the weekend to go to Detroit for unexplained reasons. That probably happens all the time in Bizarreville, Texas.

Lopez, a burly, gregarious man who worked as a mechanic, was looking after the children while DeAnn went shopping for a dress for the annual Lopez family Christmas photo, scheduled to be taken that afternoon. He had been watching the Vas children for 40 minutes when he called for an ambulance.

Hmmm- two people to babysit? Maybe it's just me, but when I hire a babysitter, I want them doing nothing other than watching my children and if one person can't handle that task, two people don't improve the situation. DeAnn went shopping for a dress? For the "annual" Lopez family Christmas photo? Scheduled to be taken that afternoon? That too probably happens all the time in that neck of the woods but if I were on the case, I'd sure be looking awfully closely at Ms. DeAnn Lopez.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lopez stated that the child had been bitten by a spider a week ago, had been acting funny ever since, and he waits until she's completely incoherent before calling an ambulance? After only 40 minutes with the children?

On the phone, Lopez described his efforts to revive Isis. "I tried to slap her on the bottom and slap her on the face and she won't wake up. She won't do nothing." Blood spilled from her mouth. "She was bit about 14 times. ... She's got all these bruises around her neck and on her face where she was bitten." After the ambulance arrived at his modest one-story home, Lopez rode with Isis to the emergency room.

"She was bit about 14 times" and not once she was taken to a doctor? How did she get bitten twice? Maybe it's just me, but a spider that bites anyone 14 times is either truly pissed off or dead as a result of biting someone FOURTEEN TIMES. I mean, who on earth was watching the baby when all of this was happening? Either the baby was sleeping (and hence not provoking the spider) or it was awake and screaming bloody murder because of being bitten FOURTEEN TIMES. With all those bruises around her neck and face, why wasn't she taken to a doctor?

Thankfully though, the ambulance arrived at his "modest" one-story home. He's one of the oppressed, modest people- surely he could not have done anything wrong.

The solution to all this? Easy! MORE FUNDING!

Though depicted as glamorous and high-tech on TV shows such as CSI, the field of death investigation is plagued by chronic underfunding, a shortage of specialists, and a lack of national standards, according to a 2009 report by the National Academy of Sciences.

The other solution? More education/certifications!

Many of the nation's morgues are staffed by doctors who aren't board-certified in forensic pathology. To become certified, doctors need an extra year of training and must pass a day-long test. Earlier this year, an investigation by NPR, ProPublica and PBS Frontline showed that more than 100 physicians without board certification were working at the country's busiest coroner and medical examiner offices.

More than 100. Geewhiz. What's that as a percentage? I don't know- they didn't say.

Even for the best educated and trained doctors, performing an autopsy on a baby or young child poses particular technical challenges. Their developing bodies function differently. It's why doctors who treat living children — pediatricians — receive different training than those who deal with adults.

Well, this is simply unnecessary sensationalism (as if there's any other kind). What they should have said was "Performing an autopsy on a baby..." and left out the "Even for the best educated..." Of course if they did that, you wouldn't be able to get it that "we're in serious trouble, something needs to be done, and we're going to need to spend a lot of money to fix it- but  we don't have any of our own... so..."

"Adults are generally tougher and harder to kill then a small child. Particularly an infant," said Jon Thogmartin, chief medical examiner for Pasco and Pinellas counties in Florida, a jurisdiction that includes St. Petersburg. "So, you're looking for very subtle signs of trauma or pressure, or small amounts of bleeding that could potentially cause a kid severe illness or death."

"then"? Really? I'm not sure who's ultimately responsible for this but let's go ahead and blame the authors (there were four... FOUR) or at least the proofreader and maybe the Editor. But what's the difference? you know what they meant.

Feel free to read more of the article and form your own opinion.

Ha ha ha, it doesn't matter what you think, asshat

Maryland is the first state in the country to impose a new requirement to graduate from high school -- something called environmental literacy.

But what is that? That is the question State Senator J. B. Jennings is asking.

"What kind of education is it going to be?” he asks. “Is it going to be fact-based? Or is it going to be theory-based, which is usually politically, theory driven. And you can think, it's going to be about global warming or climate change." More here:

That's right, jackasses and there's NOTHING you can do about it.  Hey, keep voting for liberals though ... it shows how smart you are.

This is not a joke.

I'm not posting this to make fun of someone's misfortune only to point out the amazingly insensitive choice of words for the very last word of the very last paragraph.

Palatka, FL — Roy McSweeney, a 74-year-old Florida man, was left in critical condition after his neighbor’s two dogs jumped the fence separating his property from hers and brutally attacked him in his own front yard.

“He was in his yard doing yard work when the dogs jumped over the fence and attacked him,” Putnam County Sheriff’s Capt. Johnny Greenwood said, adding that the fence was thin wire.

McSweeney had his right arm completely torn off by the dogs and his left arm shredded.  The dogs also reportedly mauled his face.  It was reported that McSweeney was rushed to a nearby hospital where he underwent hours of surgery trying to save his left arm.  He is currently on life support and friends and family are questioning if he can survive.

The animals, owned by neighbor Deanna Blitch, have been euthanized and their dead carcasses are being tested for rabies. Police described the dogs as being – brace yourselves – pit bulls or pit bull mixes.
No charges have been filed against the dogs’ owner.

I completely expect a chorus calling for the indictment of the dogs’ owners.  Please also consider how different this would be if the victim wasn’t unarmed.

  • "This is our continent, not yours!" exclaimed one banner.
  • "We are indigenous! The only owners of this continent!" said another.
  • "If you think I'm illegal because I'm a Mexican, learn the true history, because I'm in my homeland," read another sign.
Of course, if the Libs have their way, we WILL give it back. After all, what right did we have to take it in the first place? All those treaties and negotiations and wars weren't fair because the Mexicans were at a distinct disadvantage at the time because they had inferior weapons, inferior armies, and inferior societies. We should give it all back and call it a "do over" because a world where the survival of the fittest is the dominant rule is not one in which the Libs want to live.

Find the missing word in this "story"

Tonight, around 11 p.m., a group of at least 60-70 African American youth marched down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan). They were yelling threats to white residents. Things such as we need to kill alll the white people around here. They were physically intimidating anyone calling for help from the police. They were surrounding cars. Cars on the main drag had to slam on their brakes to either avoid the youth blocking not only all four lanes, but a large section of the side street as well. fights were breaking out among them. They were rushing residents who looked out their doors, going on to porches, yelling threats to people calling the police for help.

Cars were doing U turns on the streets just to avoid the mob, mostly male. One youth stated his grandfather was white and several assaulted him on the spot. One police officer answered the call. The youth split into two large groups, one heading north, the other south. They were also yelling racial threats to the police officer but he was outnumbered. Another police car did not show up until after the youth finally dispersed and the patty wagon (van) also eventually showed up.

Residents are very shaken, both black and white alike. This is the fifth large mob action in about a month with smaller groups of 10-12 are out threatening children and adults a few evenings a week or later into the night.

What's the missing word?

Beyond that though -- "the FIFTH large mob action in about a month?"  Excuse me?

Bold is mine:
STOCKHOLM – At the "Egalia" preschool, staff avoid using words like "him" or "her" and address the 33 kids as "friends" rather than girls and boys.

From the color and placement of toys to the choice of books, every detail has been carefully planned to make sure the children don't fall into gender stereotypes.

"Society expects girls to be girlie, nice and pretty and boys to be manly, rough and outgoing," says Jenny Johnsson, a 31-year-old teacher. "Egalia gives them a fantastic opportunity to be whoever they want to be."

The taxpayer-funded preschool which opened last year in the liberal Sodermalm district of Stockholm for kids aged 1 to 6 is among the most radical examples of Sweden's efforts to engineer equality between the sexes from childhood onward. More here:

Democratics know how to fix everything - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told the House Small Business Committee on Wednesday that the Obama administration believes taxes on small business must increase so the administration does not have to “shrink the overall size of government programs.” More here:

Whoa, that was a close one.  Someone must have suggested stopping the government from squandering our money.  Geithner quickly got out in front of that one and brought everyone back to their senses.

Hey Geithner, go ahead and try to raise taxes.  Better hurry up though cuz all you Democatics/tyrants/communists are going to be out on your asses very soon ... like Nov 2012.

As if THIS isn't enough ... I'm still having trouble believing that Obama put this this jackass in charge of the treasury./tax collecting.  Maybe you don't recall the following:
Over several years, Treasury secretary nominee Timothy F. Geithner failed to pay Social Security taxes, even though he was advised by his employer to do so, signed an agreement indicating that he understood that such payments were his responsibility and received extra pay from his employer specifically for that purpose.More here:

What do you do when the economy is in a depression?

U.S. budget talks collapsed on Thursday after Republican negotiators walked out, throwing doubt on Washington's ability to reach a deal that would allow the government to keep borrowing and avoid a debt default.

Representative Eric Cantor, the No. 2 Republican in the House of Representatives, said participants had identified trillions of dollars in potential spending cuts but were deadlocked over tax increases sought by Democrats. More here:

Yes, "Democratics" know what to do ... depending on an existing economic situation.

1 - When you're experiencing a depression ... you raise taxes, increase regulation, and grow the government.

2 - During periods of economic growth, you raise taxes, increase regulation, and grow the government.

Don't worry though.  Remember all those companies that were engaged in ripping you off for years and years?  Well, your government "bailed them out."  Isn't that great?  There they were, about to go bankrupt (as well they should have) when -- TA DA -- the government grabbed your cash and gave it to them.  So, never mind anymore about holding back your money from undeserving companies, that's no longer an obstacle to them so they're doing just fine ... and you?

Geniuses taken by complete surprise on economy

The US Federal Reserve gave a downbeat assessment of the world’s largest economy on Wednesday as it pointed to slower than expected growth and higher inflation.

In the most significant change to its policy statement, it stripped out all reference to “subdued” measures of underlying inflation and said that the economy is growing “somewhat more slowly than the Committee had expected”. (Yes ... unexpected, it's a real stumper.)

The toxic combination of disappointing growth but higher inflation combined to leave no hint that the central bank will consider further asset purchases to stimulate the economy. More here:

Oh woe is us.  No wonder they were taken by surprise ... I mean, what great genius could have predicted this?

It's never enough control for idiot libs

People who hope to beat the summer heat by swimming, floating or boating on rivers in King County must wear a life vest or face an $86 fine.

A divided County Council on Monday passed a personal flotation device ordinance by a five to four vote. More here:

LMAO -- going swimming?  Better get your life jacket on.  How how are the cops going to enforce this with a straight face?  Seriously, how do these people get elected?  Once elected, how do they stay in office?  Are you telling me there are actually people out there who enjoy being shoved around like this?  Good lord.

Klown prediction on Obama's reelection

Some time back a friend of mine told me he thought Obama was going to be reelected.  Can you believe this?  Massive unemployment ... a damn DEPRESSION ... three wars going ... gas prices doubled since he became President, an unpopular health care law ... I could go on and on ... listen to me ... he's done.  There is no way he'll be reelected ... there, I said it ... my feet are in cement.

When he was elected (with a Democrat majority in both houses) I knew the country was finished.  The "Democratics" now (including Obama) are nothing like the Democratics of old.  They are crushing the country as fast as they can using every channel they can to remake the society in their Utopian image.  The thing is, once they succeed at breaking everybody (which they almost have) all that will be left is their apology ... that is to say, "nothing" ... they won't even apologize after they do it ... they'll NEVER accept responsibility for their actions ... it's just part of being a "Democratic."  They'll blame the evil rich for getting richer during the depression (Pelosi) they caused ... THAT'S RIGHT ... the evil rich ... who are always forcing you to do things you don't want to do ... forcing you into their stores ... forcing you to buy their products ... grrrrrr, I HATE the evil rich, don't you?

Anyway, I figured if Obama was elected, the good news would be the country might learn its lesson.  Then, when the Republicans won the midterms I thought ... "maybe."  But what has happened since then?  Anything?  Boehner playing golf with Obama?  Anything else you can point to?  Is he threatening to stop them from raising the debt ceiling? (Answer: No.)  Are the Republicans going on TV every day to say "This is what we're doing to expand your liberty? (Answer: No.)  Do they even APPEAR to have a simple bullet-point agenda? (Answer: No.)

Are they presenting bill after bill to::
  • Cut spending in any significant way?
  • Open up drilling? Cut regulation on new exploration, transportation of fuel, etc etc?
  • Allow school vouchers?
  • Eliminate harmful/political agencies like the EPA, NEA, IRS, etc etc

They need to present these bills about one/two per week until the election and relentlessly be on TV telling the American people they have presented the bills but they have been blocked by the Democratics.  They need to tell the people to dump the Democratics so the Republicans can push through the legislation which will  restore their personal liberty.

But they won't.  Why not, you ask?  Because the leadership are idiots.  I wasn't a Boehner fan to start with but if you recall I decided to withhold judgement for a while ... well, the while is over ... he needs to go.  He's up there playing around with liberty and he thinks he has until the end of time to fix things ... I say "out of the way, jackass, time's a-wastin'."

Hey, as long as I'm running my mouth a hundred miles an hour, let me just continue another mile before I hit the brakes.  Right now* I think I'd like to see Herman Cain and Sarah Palin get elected,  Cain is a Fair Tax and personal liberty guy and I love how he would tell congress to limit their idiotic bills to 3-4 pages ... seriously how many pages you need to say "Don't commit fraud, don't take other people's stuff, don't destroy other people's stuff" etc etc.  What they hell are they doing up there with these massive laws out of the FEDERAL government ... leave the details to the states, asshats.  Sarah is a plain-spoken, small government, personal liberty woman with a strong personality and would be a great asset for Cain ... she is loyal to the end and I doubt she'd stab him in the back like some weaker VP's might when the inevitable and relentless media attacks begin. Sarah is used to it.

Lastly, we need to find a way to jail these politicians that have stolen our liberty for the last 50 years.  They order us around on every little thing ... make us miserable trying to keep up with their idiotic edicts from on high ... stealing from us, our children and grandchildren ... hey, try leaving your leftover social security benefits to your kids if you die early.  They peeled you your whole life and where is the money?  How much would you have in the bank had they left you alone?

It's not enough they reach into our homes and cars and every damn thing else, they want more and more and MORE.  We need to put them on trial for ignoring the constitution.  I say we hold their asses accountable, they need to be confined for such a time until they learn to leave people the hell alone ... THEN they can come out and be part of society again ... and not UNTIL then.

Ok, filibuster over ... now you know what I think.

*(key words ... "right now" there's lots of time between now an the election and there's a lot more to be learned.)

The Supreme Court has been busy crushing libs

Tsk, and the court strikes down yet another attempt by disgusting thieves community minded lawyers to steal and loot from America's largest companies through class action lawsuits.  It seems to me that every third commercial on TV is some lawyer or another encouraging you to sue some corporation or doctor.  Another third is lawyers telling you they can save you from the government/IRS (ha ha -- yeah.)

Aww, that's a shame ... poor old ACORN ... getting itself involved in voter fraud etc etc ... ohhhhh, so unfair, right jackasses?

Blocks "Climate Change" lawsuit (8-0 with Sotamayer recused)
Yes ... more "environmentalists" suing on my behalf (even though I don't want them to sue anyone.) I wish congress would repeal the "standing" these groups have to use my own money to sue me. I guess that's asking too much ... after all, a leech is a leech, what do you expect him to do? Stop sucking blood? I don't McThink so.

"Kissing Couple" Reject Offers, Change Minds.

Report: Couple won't cash in on kiss

Updated Jun 19, 2011 4:55 AM ET

It was the smooch "worth $10 million," but the Romeo who stopped the globe with his kiss amid the Vancouver riots does not want to cash in on it, The (Sydney) Sunday Telegraph reported.

NHL riot kissing bandits
Yes, this really did happen. But there is much more to the story, as the couple explains in an exclusive interview.

Australian Scott Jones made worldwide headlines when he was photographed embracing his girlfriend, Canadian Alexandra Thomas, amid the chaos of Wednesday night's ice hockey riots in Vancouver.

Leading Aussie celebrity agent Max Markson said the global exposure was worth a potential AU$10 million (US$10.6 million), while public relations firm PPR Perth managing director Peter Harris said Jones could have cashed in on the "advertising equivalent of millions of dollars."

"It's a $10 million branding exercise. If you had something he could endorse it would be amazing," Markson said.

But Jones said he did not want the "extra stress," and Saturday turned down the offer of flights to New York to appear on "The Today Show" and "Good Morning America."

Instead the couple will follow through with holiday flights booked for California on Sunday before continuing on to Australia in the coming months.

"It's just too much," Jones said in his only interview, with CBC News Canada, of the talk show offers.

Violence in Vancouver

Photos: Chaos in the streets

"We just don't need the extra stress. We are totally booked up for the next three weeks. We have everything planned. We can't change anything."

Thomas added, "We're going on holiday. We've been looking forward to this for months. We're just going to go spend time together."

Freelance photographer Richard Lam took the photo of the couple lying on the road in an embrace amid the chaos, with Jones saying he was helping Thomas after she was knocked down amid the riot.

The riots were sparked by the Vancouver Canucks' loss in the decisive Game 7 of the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night.
The couple will be appearing on "The Today Show" this morning. What a difference a day an hour or two makes. I wonder what other examples of moral fortitude to which they'll vehemently cling... well for as long as they think other people are watching.

Heh - a couple of good ones

I found these at Bits & Pieces.  I'm guessing the guy with the Glen Beck sign is making serious money off the bleating sheep libs.

"Global Warmers" caught falsifying data ... again

Is climate change raising sea levels, as Al Gore has argued -- or are climate scientists doctoring the data?

The University of Colorado’s Sea Level Research Group decided in May to add 0.3 millimeters -- or about the thickness of a fingernail -- every year to its actual measurements of sea levels, sparking criticism from experts who called it an attempt to exaggerate the effects of global warming. More here:

Well, I just have two questions to ask:

1 - Why did you predict global COOLING was going to cause more tornadoes and hurricanes etc and now you make the exact same predictions for global warming?

2 - Why are the solutions to global warming (mostly stop using fossil fuels) the exact same solutions you told us for global COOLING?

It's as if, no matter WHAT the planet is doing, these people want you to stop using fossil fuels and to give your money to their "green" buddies.  But they want the government to do it ... instead of you doing it through investing in the "green" companies or buying their products.  Yes, funneling your money through the government to the the green companies ... that'll fix everything.

Your feel-good Klown story of the week

An off-duty Chicago police officer dressed up as a clown for a South Side fundraiser shot and killed a teen who held him at gunpoint tonight after the event, authorities said.

The officer, who is assigned to the Near North police district, was in his clown outfit for a fundraiser for a day-care business. The event, attended by a group of 50 children, was near West 87th Street and South Damen Avenue.

At 10:10 p.m. after the event ended, the officer went to his car and a teen approached him, asking him for money, authorities said. When the officer said he had no money, the teen pulled a gun on him, authorities said.

During a struggle with the teen, the officer grabbed hold of the gun, opened fire and killed him. More here:

Man, oh man -- I wish I could see a pic of the shitstain's face at the moment when the clown  pulled the trigger.  Hey, shitstain ... didn't you notice there was something a little "funny" about that clown?  No?  That's unfortunate.

I heard a good quote recently

It was in the context of a friend succeeding at something that can be exceedingly difficult.

I'll try to repeat it as correctly as I can.

"This is easy, all it takes is 100% concentration and focus, 100% of the time."

Idiot judge will tell you how to raise your kids

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (CBS) -- A judge in Corpus Christi, Texas had some harsh words for a mother charged with spanking her own child before sentencing her to probation.

"You don't spank children today," said Judge Jose Longoria. "In the old days, maybe we got spanked, but there was a different quarrel. You don't spank children."

Rosalina Gonzales had pleaded guilty to a felony charge of injury to a child for what prosecutors had described as a "pretty simple, straightforward spanking case." They noted she didn't use a belt or leave any bruises, just some red marks.

As part of the plea deal, Gonzales will serve five years probation, during which time she'll have to take parenting classes, follow CPS guidelines, and make a $50 payment to the Children's Advocacy Center.

She was arrested back in December after the child's paternal grandmother noticed red marks on the child's rear end. The grandmother took the girl, who was two years-old at the time, to the hospital to be checked out.

Gonzales who doesn't have custody of the child or her other two children, is trying to get them back, but until CPS feels she is ready the kids are living with their paternal grandmother. From here:

Hey judge -- aren't you an elected official?  Prepare to be de-elected next election cycle you braying liberal peckerwood.   Wow, talk about buying the liberal horsecrap hook, line, and sinker -- what an idiot.

His term is up on Dec 21, 2012 so they'll be voting on his dumbass next November.  I've already made a note in my day planner to check on the election.  He's in district 214.  After all, we don't want to get amnesia, now do we?

Meanwhile, these liberal jackasses have control over your household ... that's right ... you think you're a free person?  Piss them off and see what happens to your kids.

Totally fair and objective "jourrrrnalist"

CNN host Fareed Zakaria, also the editor-at-large for Time magazine, derides today's conservative movement as out-of-touch and too abstract in a scathing Time article "How Today's Conservatism Lost Touch With Reality." He argues, "Conservatives now espouse ideas drawn from abstract principles with little regard to the realities of America's present or past." More here:

Yes, I can see why he "covered" this, don't you?  Because, let's face it, the people need to know when "news" is happening.  Luckily he's also the editor for a mainstream news magazine so he can smear conservatives bring the important stories to America there too. Good lord, is it just me or is CNN trying to outdo NPR for the most liberal crap-pack of "news."

Hey ... "Fareed" ... how "out of touch were conservatives in the last election?  Is "out of touch" the new libspeak for "they kicked our communist asses?"  If so, then yes ... conservatives are out of touch.  You know what else?  They're going to get farther "out of touch" in the next election, you braying jackass.

Even communists are ahead of the "Democratics" in America

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (AP) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Friday challenged the legacy of his powerful predecessor, Vladimir Putin, condemning the centralization of economic and political power at the Kremlin in what was interpreted by some as an early campaign move ahead of next year's presidential election.

"The proposition that the government is always right is manifested either in corruption or benefits to 'preferred' companies," he said.  Oh really?  Who would have thought that could happink?

"My choice is different. The Russian economy ought to be dominated by private businesses and private investors. The government must protect the choice and property of those who willingly risk their money and reputation." More here:

Wow, this guy sounds like one of the founding fathers of the United States.  Meanwhile, the "Democratics" in America are ALL about consolidating power in the central government and managing the economy through the tax code ... you know ... punishing the evil rich, and so forth.  Yes, the "Evil Rich" ... or as President Medvedev calls them "those who willingly risk their money and reputation."  Funny, huh?

So it's not enough that we're getting our asses kicked by the Chinese (capitalistically speaking) now the Russians are going to pass us too. Meanwhile, for the past 50 years the "Democratics" in America have been dragging us in the exact opposite direction ... and all the while saying "we're getting closer and closer to Utopia ... all we need is a little bit more of your liberty and your private property (i.e. money.)

And no matter how bad they screw up our economy they never take responsibility ... no. You know what their answer is? WE NEED MORE GOVERNMENT REGULATION ... AND MORE TAXES ON THE EVIL RICH!!!

Really Old Old New Paper Shows Global warming since 1950 was Due to the Sun.

From Dr. David Stockwell's blog, Niche Modeling, comes word that he has submitted a paper for publication showing that solar activity alone explains the observed global warming since 1950, without need to implicate 'greenhouse gases'.
Entire article here.

Of course, we've been blogging about this very same "new" idea since 2007. Weird, right?

Whaaaaa? Electric cars are not so green after all?

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a column for The Week in which I questioned the notion of electric cars being a green option.  My arguments got swift rebuttals from backers of electric cars, but a new study produced in partnership between the British government and the car industry shows just how correct I was.  Not only do electric vehicles produce just as much carbon in their overall cycle as internal-combustion engines, the need to replace the batteries actually makes the less green than current technology (via Jeff Dunetz):

PROFESSOR JACOBSON: So Now All These People Will Apologize To Sarah Palin About Margaret Thatcher, …

A week ago The Guardian reported that Margaret Thatcher was refusing to meet with Sarah Palin, attributing a quote to an "ally" of Thatcher as follows:

Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts.
The blogosphere, including some conservative and libertarian haters of Palin, erupted in joy, with loads of snark and derision directed at Palin.

It turns out that the Guardian story was a hoax, as reported by Nile Gardiner

US Housing Crisis Is Now Worse Than Great Depression

It's official: The housing crisis that began in 2006 and has recently entered a double dip is now worse than the Great Depression.

Prices have fallen some 33 percent since the market began its collapse, greater than the 31 percent fall that began in the late 1920s and culminated in the early 1930s, according to Case-Shiller data.

The news comes as the Federal Reserve considers whether the economy has regained enough strength to stand on its own and as unemployment remains at a still-elevated 9.1 percent, throwing into question whether the recovery is real.

"The sharp fall in house prices in the first quarter provided further confirmation that this housing crash has been larger and faster than the one during the Great Depression," Paul Dales, senior economist at Capital Economics in Toronto, wrote in research for clients. More here:

Hmmmm, so government regulation/intervention finally got around to crushing the economy eh? Does the Community Reinvestment Act ring a bell? Now WHO could have predicted that would happen?  After all, we only had the best interests of the public at heart.  Oh woe is us.  Hey, I know what we need ... that's right ... MORE taxes and regulation.

Whaaaa? The Sun affects the Earth's climate?????

Some unusual solar readings, including fading sunspots and weakening magnetic activity near the poles, could be indications that our sun is preparing to be less active in the coming years.

The results of three separate studies seem to show that even as the current sunspot cycle swells toward the solar maximum, the sun could be heading into a more-dormant period, with activity during the next 11-year sunspot cycle greatly reduced or even eliminated.

The results of the new studies were announced today (June 14) at the annual meeting of the solar physics division of the American Astronomical Society, which is being held this week at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.

If the models prove accurate and the trends continue, the implications could be far-reaching.

"If we are right, this could be the last solar maximum we'll see for a few decades," Hill said. "That would affect everything from space exploration to Earth's climate." More here:

"If we are right." LMAO ... Oh really?  Imagine that ... the Sun ... affecting the climate ... wow ... that theory is "out there" baby.

Hey, I wonder how long it will be before we start to hear about "global cooling."  Here's how it's gonna go down.  The "scientists" will come up with some jackassed excuse about why they were wrong before -- but now -- but NOW -- they KNOW they're right.  And this time they won't claim that man did it ... but ... I predict they'll say that man can "mitigate" the effects of global cooling.  AND ... SOMEHOW, the prescription will be the EXACTLY the same as those they recommended for combating global warming.

And lastly ... one more prediction ... the EXACT same morons that believed in "global warming" won't take two seconds before they've bought "global cooling" hook, line, and sinker.  Prepare for the bleating to begin.

Facebook - "Support Obama or get off the property"

Ha ha - you've just GOT to love the genius lefties.  They're so much smarter than we.   Don't believe me?  Well then don't miss the typical Obama supporters starting at the 2:05 mark.

Meanwhile, yes ... Facebook -- so now you know where they stand (as if you couldn't have guessed.)  I take much comfort knowing that Facebook will soon go the way of MySpace.  Bye bye, jackasses.

A riddle

There are 2 guarded doors- one guard is a Lib always lies and the other is a Conservative always tells the truth- You do not know which one is which. One door leads to certain death, while the other leads to riches beyond your wildest dreams.

You can ask One question, what question do you ask, and which door do you ask it to, so that you can determine which is the correct door to take?

The first step...

As any addict can tell you, the first step is admitting you have a problem. Perhaps there's hope for Markos after all. First he acknowledges that he was wrong, then he expresses feelings of humiliation and disgrace (and perhaps even embarrassment?) and finally says he wants to be a healthier person. We all know that you can't be a Liberal and do any of those things so maybe he's come to his senses. Of course, we're going to have to wait and see. Libs are famous for making sweeping proclamations about self-improvement and then forgetting all about it once other Libs stop paying attention.

Markos Moulitsas, founder of the Daily Kos, said he would request a leave of absence from his popular group blog to learn what he called “partisan aggression management.” ”Twice now–with John Edwards and Anthony Weiner–I’ve defended pretty obviously guilty Democrats by approving nasty arguments attacking their critics–arguments that turned out to be wrong. I thought I was fighting back, but I brought nothing but humiliation and disgrace to myself and my party.  The truth comes out eventually. I hadn’t taken that into account. I have departed this morning to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better blogger and healthier person.”

Libs - unable to feel embarrassment

From a recent article at National Review Online by Fred Thompon
Bold is mine:

John Edwards and Scooter Libby
Those who bemoan the Edwards prosecution should look back to the Bush administration.

The “I may be an SOB, but that does not mean I am a criminal” defense is getting worn out lately. First it was Blago in Chicago, and now John Edwards is giving it a try. The problem for them is that often, the jury concludes that the defendant is both.

However, I am sure that Edwards feels that if anybody can pull this off before a jury, he can. It might well work for him, in part because he does not seem to suffer the debilitating effects of embarrassment or shame that would hamper most people under similar circumstances. More here:

Yes.  You don't need to read very far in this blog to know I say this about libs all the time.  It's the only rational explanation for much of their irrational behavior ... well, that and they're all amnesiacs.

Just Following Orders.

August von Mackensen
The Nazi defense of "we were just following orders" has been examined to death. It is used as an example when debating anyone who is accused of doing something illegal, immoral, or evil because "that's no defense at all- you should have done the right thing no matter how much pressure was put upon you". Meanwhile, many people do things they would not otherwise do because they were more afraid of their superiors than they were of society.

Of course, in the case of the Nazi's of WWII, society approved of what they were doing. Civilians claimed that they had no idea what was going on but frankly, I don't buy it anymore than I buy that "peaceful" Muslims don't know what radical Islamists are doing. I suspect that they turn a blind eye because net net, they believe it improves their standard of living and "they're not going after Muslims" so...

Anyway, it's my argument that these people who were "just following orders" were actually loving the ELS out of torturing, abusing, and killing people who they didn't like for any number of reasons- real or fabricated.

The Beaner Quothe...

"Weiners are not sexy." I agree. The Beaner oft speaketh the truth. Mr. Weiner's fuzzy junk pic here. (Gross and PG-35- from

Dem or Repub, I'm starting to not care. It's time to clean house (and senate) of these fucks. Every one of them that's been there longer than 2 terms is costing me money, time, and attention.

Bad luck you

Libs are neighbors too I guess... maybe he could call the arborist to get rid of the lib infestation too...

“My parents have a large front yard,” writes David in Georgia, “and up until a few years ago, it had about 40 trees in it.” Unfortunately, an arborist informed David’s parents that those trees, while they looked normal enough, had become infested and essentially hollowed-out by insects, killing the trees and turning them into a pretty big safety risk in the case of a storm. At the arborist’s recommendation, David’s parents had the trees removed.

Fast forward a few months to December, when the family put up their usual holiday decorations — little trees made of Christmas lights — throughout the front yard. Soon after, David says, the family received two items of interest in their mailbox:

1. A certificate of recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation, “thanking us for our efforts to prevent further tree deaths”

2. This handmade holiday card.

Wishing you...

5 years' bad luck for each tree you killed....And if that wasn't bad enough, you have the nerve to make tacky 'trees' out of lights and call it holiday cheer. What's wrong with you? Sadly but sincerely, Your neighbors on Henderson Road

Adds David: “This person obviously put a lot of work into carefully drawing and writing it; the artwork and penmanship are immaculate. If only they’d put as much effort into asking us why we were having the trees removed.”

Yeah! So THERE! Yeah!

9 Months Later

John decided to go skiing with his buddy, Keith. So they loaded up John's minivan and headed north.

After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard. So they pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night

'I realize it's terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I'm recently widowed,' she explained. 'I'm afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house.'

'Don't worry,' John said. 'We'll be happy to sleep in the barn. And if the weather breaks, we'll be gone at first light.' The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night.

Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way.

They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing.

But about nine months later, John got an unexpected letter from an attorney. It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend.

He dropped in on his friend Keith and asked, 'Keith, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up north about 9 months ago?' 'Yes, I do.' Said Keith.

'Did you, ER, happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit?'

'Well, um, yes!,' Keith said, a little embarrassed about being found out, 'I have to admit that I did.'

'And did you happen to give her my name instead of telling her your name?'

Keith's face turned beet red and he said, 'Yeah, look, I'm sorry, buddy. I'm afraid I did.' 'Why do you ask?'

'She just died and left me everything.'

Interesting point

I recommend reading the entire article.
Liberalism arguably suffers from an over-reliance on emotional intelligence while eschewing rational intelligence. The Left has been criticized for disrupting the free market, disregarding earned success and even siphoning wealth from the upper class to distribute to others, encouraging these people to further rely on handouts instead of on themselves.  Those who engage in this behavior, without using their rational intelligence, thus lack compassion, becoming jealous of success, and do not live an ethical life.  To live an ethical life, it is incumbent upon them to do what they can to aid the poor, the weak, and those who lack the self-confidence necessary for self-reliance, without forcing others to do it.

The gall of Sarah Palin

SEABROOK, N.H. — Sarah Palin’s bus is plastered with a mock-up of the U.S. Constitution. But her entourage — both the three-vehicle motorcade that includes the bus and the smaller, two-SUV version she uses for smaller events — hasn’t been very respectful of traffic laws.

They speed. They run red lights and stop signs. They make last-second lane changes to get off the highway, sometimes without signaling.

So do the reporters following them.

Journalists in the caravan trailing her “One Nation” tour bus describe the experience as harrowing, a rolling menace careening up the East Coast in hot pursuit of the former Alaska governor who declined to provide any advance itinerary of her tour over six days on the road. More here:

Ok, I've stopped laughing at the "jourrrrnalists" long enough to go ahead and make this blog post.

These jourrrrrnalists are so indignant aren't they?  I mean, here they are following her around to try to make her look as stupid as they possibly can and she's not making it easier on them ... EVEN THOUGH SHE COULD ... CAN YOU IMAGINE THIS?

That's right, the jourrrrrnalists speeding and running red lights and stop signs etc ... it's ALL SARAH PALIN'S FAULT.  Surely anyone can see the liberal logic here.  Of course, don't feel bad if you're a conservative and you fail to make the connection ... it's not your fault ... these geniuses are just plain smarter than you.

Shhhhh, the "news" is on MSNBC

Here's a standard take on Sarah Palin by jourrrrnalists everywhere : (The genius is referring to Sarah Palin's tour bus.)

Allow me to introduce you to the totally unbiased and objective jourrrrnalist, Martin Bashir of MSNBC.  He's only interested in getting you the all the facts of the circumstances so you can think what you will.  He would never ... and I mean NEVER deign to slant the "news."

Quothe he: It all sounds like a wonderful commitment to American values and American history, but it's nothing of the kind. In fact, the whole thing could be in breach of a federal law because the United States Flag Code establishes important rules for the use and display of the stars and stripes, the flag of the United States. Under standards of respect and etiquette, it's made clear that the flag of the United States should never be used for any advertising purpose whatsoever. Yet that's precisely what Sarah Palin is doing. She's using the flag of the United States for her own financial purposes. She drapes herself in the stars and stripes and makes millions of dollars in the process.  (More here comrades) Yeow, watch out or some of the contempt will drip out of his mouth and onto the laps of his fellow communists jourrrrnalists.  Yes, yes, Martin -- the bus tour is actually "in breach of federal law."  Awesome conclusion drawn by a person who is "proven" superior at understanding complexity.

Doesn't this sound like the birthers to you?  Instead of arguing issues, he has to pick insignificant things to talk about?  What about Obama suddenly deciding to wear an American flag pin?  I guess that doesn't count, right, jackass?

That aside, why all the hatred for Sarah out of the mainstream media?  Has she announced she's running?  Does she give the media an itinerary? (Answer: No.)  Then why are they following her like idiots?  Why trash her and run her down every chance you get?  Why not ignore her if she's so stupid and has no chance etc?  ... Reasons?  Anyone?  Bueller?

Also, look at this asshat ... just LOOK at him.  He's giving you the look of condescending contempt.  This shows you he knows what he's talking about and you better get in line.  Don't question him or he'll make you look like a fool ... and to a lib, it's better to just stay in the dark than risk that ... to a lib, appearing smart is "mission critical."  It's absolutely critical that everyone else thinks you're smart, never mind what you really think of yourself ... you can hide that part.

Don't let all this hyperbole cause you to miss my main point ... this is the news ... on MSNBC.

Abusive government tries to steal man's freedom

Los Angeles county officials are demanding that a creative homeowner tear down a 20,000-square-foot domicile he calls "Phonehenge West"--or face up to seven years in jail.

Former telephone technician Alan Kimble Fahey began building the structure three decades ago in Acton, the Los Angeles Times reports. Fahey, who christened the project "Phonehenge" because it sits atop pilings modified from phone utility poles, says he intends to turn the compound into a museum.

The labyrinthine network of buildings where Fahey, his wife, and teenage son live even includes a 70-foot tower covered in Italian stained-glass windows, and a barn. Fahey uses a "motorized cart" to get between buildings, an earlier report said.

The paper describes the compound as "a hodgepodge of reddish buildings braced with scores of utility poles and steel beams and connected by bridges and ramps." Inside, the castle is filled with more than 20,000 books, and a yurt--though Fahey and his wife sleep on a single-sized water bed and cook on a tiny stove. Tourists come from all over to gaze at the creation, Fahey says, and Glamour magazine even staged a photo shoot there.

Fahey has attracted popular support for his labor of love. More than 1,000 people have liked a Facebook page called "Save Phonehenge West." And a national group that opposes "abusive" building codes, F.A.C.E.OFF (Fight Against Code Enforcement Office), is also backing Fahey. The compound has been admiringly featured on home design web sites.

A jury began hearing the county's case against Fahey last week: He is charged with 14 criminal misdemeanor counts, including unlawful use of land. L.A. County deputy District Attorney David Campbell told the paper that Fahey repeatedly ignored city officials' warnings that he was violating multiple municipal building safety and fire codes and thinks he is above the law.

More here:

Gotta love this.  They're out to get him and they're going to succeed.  The judge will tell the jury they MUST find him guilty if they find he broke one of their laws.  Why have a jury then?  Perhaps they haven't heard of "jury nullification."

Some people think "wrestling" is real. You know who you are.
