Ha ha, yes ... it's finally dawning on them

So a new attitude is dawning on Greece (and hopefully soon elsewhere as well.)

Excerpts: (Bold is mine)

ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Reeling from a vicious financial crisis that has cost them pensions and jobs, Greeks have been turning away in droves from the mainstream politicians they feel have let them down. Another political force is trying to tap the void, with blunt promises to "clean up" the country.

Appealing to populist sentiment, Golden Dawn has been gathering donations of food and clothing to deliver to the needy while pledging to make politicians accountable for the crisis. Ordinary Greeks are struggling under tough conditions demanded for rescue loan deals that have pushed the country into a fifth year of recession.

"Golden Dawn stands against this corrupt system of power. All those who are responsible for the waste of public money must go to jail. That is our priority," said Ilias Kasidiaris, a 31-year-old party member who served in the Greek army's special forces. More at the AP:

It's funny, isn't it?  You'd think this would be absolute common sense but no ... it's considered "radical."  You have to ask yourself, how in the hell is this not the rule?  Why aren't these politicians afraid of the public catching them flushing money down the toilet?  Actually, they aren't flushing it, they're taking it off you in the form of taxes and giving it to their buddies/contributors in the "green industry."

And somehow, none of these "investments" pan out, so your money is wasted.  Yes, who could have foreseen this in light of the laws of physics/thermodynamics?  And the politicians don't even act embarrassed.  They're probably too busy setting their buddies up in another "venture."

I think these guys in Greece have the right idea, we need to hold these people accountable if they have broken any laws or committed ethics violations.

LOL -- the Democratics have identified the enemy - CHARRRRGE!!!

"Battleship" Avoids U.S. Release and Makes $170 Mil Around the World

UPDATE: Sunday, April 29th: “Battleship” is now up to $170 Mil worldwide without US release until May 18th.

“Battleship,” Universal Pictures’ big summer entertainment, cost over $200 million to make. You know it’s cheesy and not very good, so why subject the studio to American reviews?

Very wisely, Universal has been opening “Battleship” around the world in advance of its May 18th U.S. landing. And the result: already $129 million in the bank. And more to come.

These numbers are from And they tell you why Ron Meyer is so good at his job running the studio. The movie has terrible reviews–it’s scored a 48% on Rotten Tomatoes. One British reviewer simply called it “trash.” Universal calls it “money” and there will enough of it by May 18th to avoid a “John Carter” disaster.

This is the new trend. If your movie is bad, play for it people who just need to see explosions and special effects.More at Forbes:

Hey, wait a minute.  Is this guy calling the European audience unsophisticated rubes?  Sure sounds like it to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't we supposed to be enamored with all things European (especially their communism/socialism?)  But ignore their financial plight ... don't listen to the conservatives ... that's all overblown ... everything is going to be ok

Idiot libs ... just can't resist stretching a concept to the ridiculous

AMHERST — Former Vice president Al Gore on Friday refuted claims that global warning is a myth, saying that 97 to 98 percent of the worlds’ scientists attest to its veracity.

What?  I thought they didn't call it "Global Warming" anymore since the whole temperature-is-rising thing got debunked.  I thought they all agreed to call it climate-change instead ... so they could claim man made influence no matter WHICH way the temps went.

The thing I find most amazing is the audacity it takes to look at you with a straight face and say "man has done something to cause the temperature to rise ... BUT ... if the temperature falls, that ALSO is caused by the same thing that caused warming."

No, wait, I think even more amazing is the fact that there are plenty of morons who believe this load of crap.  I mean, I can't find any but the media assures me they exist.  Not only that but Al Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize ... and a couple of Oscars for his movie sooooo.  Did I mention he's making millions off his scam?

As an aside, how many libs versus conservatives have won a Nobel Prize recently?  Also, how many libs versus conservatives have own an Oscar recently?  Ever wonder why that is?  No?  Then go back to your bleating.

Gore told students that some doubted the wisdom of President John F. Kennedy saying in the early 1960s that the United State would land on the moon within a decade. “You will have the opportunity to do things greater than you can possibly imagine," Gore said. "And now is the time. We need an American spring this spring. We need to occupy democracy.”

LMAO.  The total predictability, nay ... inevitability of idiot libs.  Once they find a concept the media likes they have to keep one-upping each other until they run up against the wall.  It goes from save-a-tree to save-a-forest so save-the-desert to save the planet.  You get the idea.

So now the libs are stretching the Occupy Wall Street concept.  Never mind the "movement" is full of commie/criminal morons, no ... that doesn't matter.  What matters is outdoing each other in the profound need to be profound (lol - I did it - NOT..)

So now Al Gore wants them to Occupy Mob Rule Democracy" (whatever that means.)

I call on laryngitis to occupy Al Gore's tonsils ...  and NOT allow itself to be intimidated and dragged off by the goose-stepping antibiotics wearing their hobnail boots..

Libs ... they canit WAIT to be the first to ban something

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — It could soon be illegal to ride a bicycle and text if a California lawmaker gets his way.

Sen. Joe Simitian (D-Palo Alto), who authored the 2008 California law mandating the use of hands-free technology while driving, has proposed extending that law to bicyclists.

Senate Bill 1475 would ban bicyclists from texting or talking without a headset. More at cbslocal:

You know, it never fails to amuse me, how gleefully (and quickly) the libs jump to steal your liberty ban something (for your own good and the safety of others, of course.)

Recently they found out that using a cell phone while driving is as "dangerous" as having a .08 alcohol content in your body ... and we've already established (thru "studies" and the "media") that the alcohol people are witches.  So it should come as no surprise now that the cell phone users/drivers are also witches ... and we shall rule over them with aBANdon.

Keep in mind, on the journey to tyranny, you usually travel most of the way on "It's For Your Own Good Avenue."  Yes, and the libs would be busy pointing out how much safer it is ... if their hands weren't safely tied to their armrests to prevent them from accidentally poking someone else in the eye.

You have to wonder what this guy was thinking

(CBS News) BERKELEY, Calif. - Police have arrested an Oakland man who allegedly hit two bicyclists with his car and then fled - an incident caught on video by one of the cyclist's bike-mounted camera.

The hit-and-run occurred around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Tunnel Road in Berkeley, where the bicyclists were traveling east and were struck by a car traveling in the same direction, according to police.

One of the cyclists had a camera mounted on his handlebars. The video, posted on YouTube by brunogfmtube, shows a black car veer into both bicyclists at about the 2:40 mark.

The video had more than 100,000 views on YouTube as of Saturday morning.

According to CBS Station KPIX, Police Capt. Andrew Greenwood said the driver of the black vehicle did not stop afterward, as is required by law, so police treated it as a hit-and-run.

The riders, both of whom were wearing helmets, had abrasions from hitting the road but did not require hospitalization, according to Greenwood.

After the incident Wednesday, the suspect, Michael Medaglia, reported to the Oakland Police Department that his car had been stolen. A police alert was placed on the car.

Ohhhhh, stolen .... what a coinkydink. Well, just explain it to the cops, they'll understand.

KPIX reports that Oakland police found the vehicle Friday morning and alerted the Berkeley Police Department. After an examination of the vehicle, Berkeley police were led to Jack London Inn in Oakland, where officers contacted Medaglia late Friday afternoon.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin, felon in possession of ammunition, violation of probation and felony hit-and-run. From CBS News:

Dang.   Looks like they didna "understand."

Look, I hate self-important finheads/cyclists as much as the next guy but these guys were in the bike lane.  They weren't out inflicting themselves on the general populace and trying to be a pain in the ass ... you know ... like your normal finhead.

It just tears at the core of my being the idea of someone cashing in on a term like "organic".

"Is that USDA organic, or oregon organic, or portland organic..." "It's just all across the board organic."

Did we say that? We didn't mean that. Calm down, we'll talk later.

Under pressure from farming advocates in rural communities, and following a report by The Daily Caller, the Obama administration withdrew a proposed rule Thursday that would have applied child labor laws to family farms. Yes, remember that?

Critics complained that the regulation would have drastically changed the extent to which children could work on farms owned by family members. The U.S. Department of Labor cited public outcry as the reason for withdrawing the rule. More at The Daily Caller:

Heh,  This is just a case where the liberals pushed too far too soon.  Don't worry, they'll be back.  They'll get this through sooner or later.  That way the big corporate farms can have more advantage and push the family farm further toward extinction.  All under the guise of "protecting the chilllldren."  Don't DARE question our actions if we say "it's for the chilllldren."

Ever notice?  The libs always have to be "getting something through."  Make the government bigger and bigger, (never smaller.)  Give the government more and more power, (never less.)  Burping out thousands of pages of laws and regulations every day ... it's lib nirvana.

Ray LaHood - Genius lib makes a grab for a little more of your liberty

Bold is mine:

SAN ANTONIO, April 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood called on Thursday for a federal law to ban talking on a cell phone or texting while driving any type of vehicle on any road in the country.

Tough federal legislation is the only way to deal with what he called a "national epidemic," he said at a distracted-driving summit in San Antonio, Texas, that drew doctors, advocates and government officials.

LaHood said it is important for the police to have "the opportunity to write tickets when people are foolishly thinking they can drive safely or use a cell phone and text and drive."

LaHood has previously criticized behind-the-wheel use of cell phones and other devices, but calling for a federal law prohibiting the practice takes his effort to a new level.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that 3,000 fatal traffic accidents nationwide last year were the result of distracted driving. Using a cell phone while driving delays reaction time the same amount as having a blood alcohol concentration of .08, the legal limit, the highway agency said. More here:

So, talking on cell phone while driving makes you a witch right?  Yes, because "drunk drivers" are witches, right?  And is there a federal law about that?  Or is it done at the state level?

And should we go ahead and ruin the lives of these witches too?  Just like we do the drunk driving witches?  Take their licenses?  Increase their insurance to unaffordable levels?  make them ride those little mopeds on the side of the roads ... those aren't dangerous at all, right?

Let's face it though, we ALWAYS need a pack of morons in congress stealing our freedom and controlling every facet of our lives because ... what would we EVER do without them?  It's a wonder any of us are still alive.  The libs ... they have a solution to everything ... and it's always a thick law ... and money for the government to administer something.

They fine the crap out of these witches and give jobs to their buddies running advertisements against the behavior .... they call them "public service announcements," doncha know.

Anyway, the bottom line is always the same ... make laws to steal your liberty and money.  After all, you were put on earth to do as they tell you, right?

Like PeTA but with suits and deodorant.

From our friends at the NRA.

America Swoons While Nero Fiddles

I love this video. Barack Obama is so cool. Just look at him... cool. So hip... so cool.

Gas prices have doubled since he took office.

The national deficit has grown faster and to a greater amount than any other time in history.

Businesses are starving for revenues. Unemployment is not only higher than it was during the Great Depression, but with the MSM's support, it's virtually impossible to get accurately reported numbers.

He has broken every promise he made to get elected and has done the opposite of everything he said he would do (except for causing energy costs to "necessarily skyrocket").

But here he is. Regard his beauty. He positively glows.

I predict he's going to get completely blind-sided in November and I cannot wait.

Whew, FINALLY it's legal to fuck the dead

Egypt plans 'farewell intercourse law'

Egyptian husbands will soon be legally allowed to have sex with their dead wives - for up to six hours after their death.

The controversial new law is part of a raft of measures being introduced by the Islamist-dominated parliament. More here:

Okie dokie then ... but I have some questions.

1 - Why do they need this law?  Who cares if some guy wants to pound the deceased's booty?

2 - How would the perps be caught?  I mean, it's not as if any victims are going to call the cops.

3 - What is the punishment for doing it seven hours after death instead of six?

4 - Why is the cutoff six hours?  Why not twelve?

If I wanted America to fail...

Just in case you've somehow missed this...

ANDREW DeMILLO - Awesome jourrrrnalist

Senator: No 'Girls Gone Wild' intern this summer
ANDREW DeMILLO | Published: April 25, 2012

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor says his internship program isn't going wild.

Pryor on Wednesday denied a claim that the winner of a contest put on by the "Girls Gone Wild" video empire will intern in Pryor's office this summer.

"Girls Gone Wild" founder Joe Francis says he announced the internship would be part of the prize package for the winner of "The Search for the Hottest Girl in America" after bidding on it at a Los Angeles-based fundraiser last weekend. Francis refused to identify the charity or say how much he paid.

But Pryor's office says it doesn't sell or auction internships and calls the announcement a "hoax." A Pryor spokesman says he doesn't know what Francis thinks he bought but "he did not buy anything from our office, period." From NewsOK

I guess Andrew was very excited when he wrote this article. He neglected to mention the Senator's party affiliation (Democrat.)  Of course, party affiliation is never germane unless it's a Republican, right, Andrew?  You braying jackass.

How did this get by the The Associated press editors? Surely the AP isn't biased for the communists, are they? biased?  Nah, perish the thought. HEE HAW - HEE HAW.

Family farm? Oh, I DON'T think so.

A proposal from the Obama administration to prevent children from doing farm chores has drawn plenty of criticism from rural-district members of Congress.

But now it’s attracting barbs from farm kids themselves.

The Department of Labor is poised to put the finishing touches on a rule that would apply child-labor laws to children working on family farms, prohibiting them from performing a list of jobs on their own families’ land.

Under the rules, children under 18 could no longer work “in the storing, marketing and transporting of farm product raw materials.” More at the Daily Caller:

Ha ha, keep voting for idiot libs.  They never run out of "genius."  They'll just keep making rules for you and stealing your life, money, and liberty (for your own good, of course.)  They never get tired of it.

And by the way, this won't have the SLIGHTEST impact on food prices ... shhhhh, calm down.  Is THAT what you're worried about?  The price?  You greedy bastard.

Idiot libs can't unravel huge mystery

"The fact is that since most of you were born, tuition and fees at America's colleges have more than doubled," Obama said. "And that forces students like you to take out a lot more loans, there are fewer grants, you rack up more debt. Can I get an 'amen'?"

The students responded: "Amen!"

Obama continued: “The average student who borrows to pay for college now graduates with about $25,000 in student loan debt—that’s the average, some are more. Can I get an ‘amen’ for that?”

"Amen," the students responded.  More at the Weekly Standard:

Really?  Tuition's doubled? Is that a fact?

Well, that certainly makes it harder for a person to pay for accommodations, doesn't it.  What we ought to do is have the government guarantee loans for everyone so they can buy a house.  Wait.  What's that?  You mean if we did that it would push the price of houses artificially high?  And you say, when the market was overbuilt and predictably, the usual suspects defaulted on their loans unexpectedly, some people didn't pay , the "value" of our homes would go in the toilet?  I see.  Well then, luckily we didn't do that.

Now, let's talk about the government guaranteeing loans for everyone so they can go to college.  It's probably only a coincidence that the government is constantly raising the ceiling on those loans (due to massive lobbying by the lenders) and then the colleges raise the price of tuition to bump up against those ceilings.

Yes, to an idiot-lib, this is always a mystery ... like a toddler looking into the toilet ... the magically appearing turd right after government intervention in the free market.  Libs think there is absolutely no connection.  They think things are free.  They think the sky is pink, as long as we all say it is.  And there is to be NO dissension.

This probably explains the proliferation of naked emperors in San Francisco, heh?

But seriously, I wouldn't care WHAT the idiot libs did as long as it didn't affect me.  The trouble with idiot libs is, they always want you to join with them in their idiocy.  They want your money.

They think you are a slave for them ... go out and earn money so they can throw it in the toilet experiment with it.  And the thing with libs is ... no matter how much they take ... it's never enough, is it? They never stop.

We can't get enough of this Columbian prostitute story

The Colombian prostitutes entangled in the Secret Service sex scandal could have been Russian spies, Sen. Chuck Grassley suggested Tuesday.

“We’re looking at something that is very, very serious when national security might not be protected properly,” Grassley told Radio Iowa. “Who knows who might be using prostitutes? The Russians are famous for that to get information out of us.” More at Politico:

Shut up, Grassley ... with your stupid-ass made up scenario.  As if the "bad guys" can't find out where the presidink is going at any given time without hiring spy-prostitutes in Columbia ... idiot.

I don't know about you but I didn't care about this "story" when it first came out.  And yet the media has decided I SHOULD care because day after day they're harping on it.

Oh yes ... such a big deal ... men go out of town on business and get prostitutes ... "well, this is something new, we better get to the bottom of this right away .... and while we're inserting our extra long noses, let's all cluck like chickens sweat bullets about it, shall we?"  I guess the media figures this could never be dealt with properly unless they harp on it until lots of people get fired.

I wish that every jourrrrnalist who ever had "inappropriate sex" would be fired right now, don't you?  That's right ... and have their careers ruined for life.  THAT would be sweet.

And, as always, there's the idiot partisans.  Here's what they do.  First they get a very serious look on their face.  Second they come up with the flimsiest-ass excuse about why you SHOULD be angry at dems/repubs concerned with this "story."  Usually the excuse is so flimsy you don't even want to question it because you feel you might embarrass the moron. (Luckily, you quickly remember that libs cannot be embarrassed.)

However, in this case, the idiot partisan is a Republican.  I guess both parties (and the media) have decided to go ahead and stoop as low as possible, all the time.  You know, because that will keep us distracted from them stealing our money and our liberty as they burp out our marching orders  at ten thousand pages a day ... jackasses.

Idiot-libs / "Democratics" hate to enforce immigration laws

Senate Democrats are making plans to force a floor vote on legislation that would invalidate Arizona’s controversial immigration statute if the Supreme Court upholds the law this summer.

Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) will announce the fallback legislation at a hearing on the Arizona law Tuesday, a day before the Supreme Court hears oral arguments in a suit to determine whether Arizona had the authority to enact the 2010 state crackdown. More at the Washinton Post:

Right, because Democratics are never happy unless they get their way.  They didn't get their way with the Arizona law so they took it to court.  And if they don't like the court's ruling then they'll take another path ... they'll fight you on every front until they can force you to do as they command.

Sounds like they're VERY interested in enforcing immigration laws, right?  I mean, they'd never THINK of just imposing their will on other people no matter what the courts say.  That's right, this little group of 100 morons calling themselves the "Senate" ... they know much better than the people of Arizona and their "duly constituted and passed law."  Remember when Obama said that?
Overturning the [health care] law would be “an unprecedented, extraordinary step” since it was passed by a majority of members in the House and Senate,” he said. “I just remind conservative commentators that for years we’ve heard that the biggest problem is judicial activism or a lack of judicial restraint. That a group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law. More at Politico:
As a side note, have you ever asked yourself ... why don't Democratics want to enforce immigration laws?

Why don't Democratics want to stop illegal immigration?

Why do Democratics insist on getting their fingers into every damn pie on earth but they can't manage to do what is COMPELLED in the constitution ... i.e. control the borders -- you know ... an actual "enumerated power"  in the constitution?  No ... THAT, they cannot do.

Have you ever asked yourself why Democratics block voter ID laws but insist that you CANNOT drive a car without one ... or get on a plane without one ... or buy liquor without one ... or buy cigarettes without one.

Democratics ... they're SO consistent, aren't they?  Very principled.  You have to admire that ... if you are a brainless moron.

Idiot racist hates racism ... oh yes

Tampa, Florida - It was an emotional interview for Michelle Williams.

As a community activist and chief of staff for the New Black Panther Party, Michelle is used to addressing many issues.

In an online interview this week, Michelle spoke openly of her frustration with what she calls the massive racial problem in this country, especially over the Trayvon Martin case. She admits that her sadness over the case was overwhelming and that she spoke harshly during the online segment.

Her words were not taken lightly and were replayed Tuesday morning by nationally syndicated radio talk show host Bubba the Love Sponge.

Michelle said during that interview, "Let me tell you, the things that's about to happen, to these honkeys, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these ---- people. It has been long overdue. My prize right now this evening ... is gonna be the bounty, the arrest, dead or alive, for George Zimmerman. You feel me?" More at

More on the Forbes article by Zwick.

You all remember it (from a mere few days ago). Zwick wrote about burning down the houses of those idiots who are anti-climate-change. In the article, he mentions a town in TN whose fire department allowed a house to burn to the ground because the home owners refused to pay a $75 fee.

Let’s take a page from those Tennessee firemen we heard about a few times last year – the ones who stood idly by as houses burned to the ground because their owners had refused to pay a measly $75 fee.
Notice that he links to a related article. Somehow and mysteriously, the link is sympathetic to those poor homeowners who opted out of paying for a valuable service but expect to have that service provided when they need it anyway.

This is not the house, the firemen, nor the fire in question.

I found a rarely mentioned and frankly, hard-to-find article which describes what I believe a more complete picture of the truth. Full article HERE.

The city of South Fulton, TN is getting a lot of media coverage this week because the city’s firefighters intentionally let someone’s house burn to the ground. Why did they do this? Because the homeowners in question did not pay a $75 fire protection fee. Sounds pretty absurd and ridiculous, right? Sounds like the sort of thing that might justifiably cause a good old-fashioned media and public opinion pile-on, right ?

Not so fast. The homeowners in question did not actually live in South Fulton (which you will note, if you consult Google maps, is not located near urban areas nor areas associated with great affluence). They actually lived outside the city limits of South Fulton – which has a fire department that I am sure does its dead level best to put out every single fire that occurs within the South Fulton city limits. Somewhere along the line, people who lived outside South Fulton came to depend on the South Fulton FD for services. My guess is that many of these people live in unincorporated areas (which is difficult to do, believe it or not, even in Northwest Tennessee). These people, of course, do not pay any city property taxes. At some point, the city of South Fulton decided that it could not afford to continue servicing the entire rural area for miles around, and instituted a policy. This policy said that those who lived outside the city limits would have to pay for fire service just like city residents do. City residents pay for it with their taxes – non-city residents would be required to pay a $75 fee. If non-city residents don’t want to pay the fee, no sweat. The City of South Fulton cannot make you pay it (like they can make you pay taxes). However, if your house catches fire and you want the South Fulton FD to say it, you had better hope that you have $2,200 cash handy, otherwise we will let your house burn to the ground. No seriously, we mean it.
That paints an entirely different, far more logical and truthful-seeming picture, doesn't it? No wonder the Lib infested blogosphere largely ignores it.

Pins from Klown's era.

Good ol' Hugo Chavez, socialist/communist extraordinaire

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has been out of sight for a week, speaking only through Twitter messages and written statements while undergoing cancer treatment in Cuba.

The lack of any appearances on television has Venezuelans wondering about what his unusual silence might say about his struggle with cancer, and whether Chavez may be coping with a particularly tough phase of radiation therapy.

Chavez, who has been president since 1999, has long been a constant presence on Venezuelan television, often addressing the nation for several hours most days in addition to his marathon Sunday program "Hello, President."  More here and here:

"Several hours each day?"

Oh lord, can you imagine? As if tyranny isn't bad enough.

Idiot-lib wins "I'm more ridiculous than you" contest

Writing for Forbes Magazine, climate change alarmist Steve Zwick calls for skeptics of man-made global warming to be tracked, hunted down and have their homes burned to the ground, yet another shocking illustration of how eco-fascism is rife within the environmentalist lobby.

“We know who the active denialists are – not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies. Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay. Let’s let their houses burn.  More here:

Sooo, the "liars" should be punished, do I have that about right?  Well, if lying were a crime and "mouthing off without knowing the facts" is considered "lying" then all you idiot-libs (and many politicians) would be in jail.

Meanwhile, please note that the idiot-libs, instead of giving up on trying to convince people with "rational science" have now resorted to squealing like pigs under the arm of an axe-wielding farmer more and more hyperbole.  They actually think that if they up the stakes you'll finally start believing them and let them have your money and liberty.

Stuff Liberals Say.

Just in case you missed it last time.

Myriad examples of the tolerant left.

Some of my favorite highlights: "Here, I'll give you a copy of the constitution." "That's okay, I know it in my heart." "Really? What's the first line." But she suddenly got really busy doing something else. Also, where the overweight, under-styled Lib starts arguing and stumbles upon a chant so awesome he can't stop saying it, "Unions aren't the problem... you're the problem... you're the problem.... YOU'RE THE PROBLEM YOU'RE THE PROBLEM YOU'RE THE PROBLEM."

A tale of two stories

Ever feel like the halfwits in the media aren't giving you the whole story?  Yes, that's what I thought.  But, they would never do that, right?

Here is a story told in two different ways.  See if you can tell which story is told by a journalist and which is told by a jourrrrnalist.

Note: This I just found this pic on the web.  It's not a pic of the swan attack in this story, it's just a random swan attack.

DES PLAINES, Ill. (CBS) – A man who neighbors say was devoted to caring for the swans of a Des Plaines area apartment complex might have paid for that devotion with his life.

Devoted, you say?

CBS 2′s Mike Puccinelli has the story of a Villa Park man who died in what witnesses say was a freak incident. Early Saturday, Anthony Hensley, 37, was in a kayak on a pond at an apartment complex in the 9300 block of Bay Colony Drive in an unincorporated area of Cook County near Des Plaines, checking on swans that were kept at the pond to keep geese away.

And why was he there?

It was Hensley’ job to care for the swans at the Bay Colony Drive apartment complex near Des Plaines, but Saturday morning something went wrong, and there was an altercation with at least one of the large birds. More here:

I see.  Soooooo, part "devotion" and part "I get paid for it?" Is that possible?

Meanwhile, who needs to get in a kayak to "check on swans?"  Answer: nobody.  My guess is he just wanted to go commune with them and check on their eggs etc ... because, in his view, the swans loved him and wanted him to share in their family's joy.

OK -- here's another version of the story from a different reporter.

North Maine Fire Department responded about 6:59 a.m. Saturday to a report of a drowning victim at 9386 Bay Colony Drive. Emergency responders received a report that a man and a dog were in a boat when the dog jumped into the water, and a man jumped into the pond after the dog. A citizen spotter helped rescuers locate where the man went under the surface on the south side of the pond.

Divers and firefighters from Glenview, Park Ridge, Prospect Heights, Long Grove and Northbrook with sidescan sonar equipment responded to the scene. Wilmette also responded with a sonar tech.

The male victim, identified as Anthony Hensley, 37, was recovered from the pond at about 7:49 a.m. and transported with advanced life support, including CPR, by Niles firefighter/paramedics to Lutheran General Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 8:16 a.m. Saturday.

Anthony Hensley of Villa Park was apparently working for a Goose Control company, and was working on geese removal at the Bay Colony pond. Investigators suspect that a swan or a group of swans attacked Hensley when his kayak moved too close to their nest.

Hmmm, no mention of his devotion here.  They must have forgotten that part or something.

Stupid republican drops f-bomb on live tv

LOL.  What a dumb republican.  Now the lefties are going to be screaming bloody murder and calling for his resignation ... right?

Now, if this had been a lefty, there would be no outrage at all ... none.  You know why?  Because republicans don't raise hell over issues like this.  We're more worried about the idiot-libs democratics going through our economy like a liberal through tax money.

There's more interesting tidbits to their conversation in a transcript here:

WOMBAT here. There's a bit more to the story...
In a blooper that is as hilarious as it increasingly becomes painful, it slowly dawns on Beckel what actually happened, as Hannity insists he apologize and Beckel, after saying he won’t several times, finally realizes the cameras are actually rolling. When he finally figured it out, he told Hannity to “run your show better,” then covered his head in shame and refused to speak, other than to say “I’m going to be fired.”
The complete video (including parts omitted above):

This guy has balls ... I think

So a guy tries out for the Denver Broncos cheerleading squad.  Yes, that's right ... a male.

So, if you're like me (cynical profiling homophobe) right away you're thinking, "this guy MUST be gay."  And you're probably thinking "he's gotta be jumping and prancing around like a fairy" (yes, you know ... a "must watch" video.)

Ha ha ... stop jumping to conclusions you politically incorrect jackass. More here:

Justice system? Or "Stupidity system?

Zimmerman was taken into custody earlier Wednesday on second-degree murder charges in the teen's death.

Corey said the decision to bring charges was based on the facts and the law, declaring: "We do not prosecute by public pressure or by petition."

When asked by Local 6 reporter Tony Pipitone what specific evidence was uncovered to bring the charges against Zimmerman,

Corey said she wouldn't discuss details about the case. "That will be in court, detailed evidence -- that's why we try cases in court," Corey said. "That would be commenting on the facts of the case, and we are not going to do that at this time." More here:

I assume, if she answered, she'd try to tell the truth ... the facts as she believes them to be. Why can't she "comment on the facts of the case?"  Ever wonder why?

What kind of "justice system" do we have when the litigants can't "comment on the facts of the case?"  What do they stand to gain (or lose.)  More importantly, WHY do they stand to gain or lose just because they tell the truth?  Why would the truth hurt anyone?

I think our "justice system" is in need of a major overhaul.

Those rich arabs ... so much smarter than Americans

Mr Big: Qatar's leader Sheik Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani

Qatar, the richest nation on earth, is also the fattest with half of all adults obese and 17 per cent of the population suffering from diabetes.

Richest nation on earth, you say?

By comparison America, which is often assumed to be the fattest, looks positively slim with a third of adults obese and eight per cent diabetic.

And why is America "assumed to be the fattest?" I think you can answer that yourself if you think about it. Hint: Think (baaaa-bleat) "media."

Out of a population of 1.7million, just 250,000 are native Qataris, who, in the space of just two generations have switched from a tribal existence to living in air conditioned villas being waited on by armies of servants.

In the space of just two generations, you say?

The tiny Arab state, with its vast supplies of oil and natural gas, became the richest nation in the world last year as measured by per capita gross domestic product. More here

So their oil is bringing them wealth and luxury.

I wonder where their "environmentalists" are?

Why aren't "environmentalists" over there blocking every inch of progress possible like they do in the United States? Oh, that's right, over there they don't have the standing to be able to sue in court ... on behalf of the public, of course.

Nor do they have an "environmental protection" agency ... paid for by their citizens ... which is blocking and suing their productive companies every five seconds.

Keep voting for "Democratics," folks. They are geniuses.

Only slightly-biased news reporting from our friends at the NFM (Non Fox Media).

Emphasis mine.

Trayvon Martin through the eyes of the NFM.
George Zimmerman has been charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of unarmed (Did you catch that? He was unarmed.) Florida teenager (Did you catch that? He was a teenager. Poor thing. A child.) Trayvon Martin, says prosecutor Angela Corey.

Zimmerman has surrendered (NPR reports that he was arrested.) to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, his new lawyer, Mark O'Mara, told CNN legal analyst Mark NeJame.

Martin, 17, was killed February 26 as he (among other things that will go largely ignored by all but the full-story news venues.) returned to his father's fiancee's house in Sanford, Florida, after picking up candy (That's right- candy- like what you can easily take from a baby. Poor thing.) and an iced tea at a nearby convenience store.

Zimmerman, a 28-year-old neighborhood watch volunteer, says he shot Martin in self-defense.

The case has drawn comments from President Obama and the United Nations, led to protest marches in cities and campuses around the country, and sparked a nationwide debate about race in America (Re-sparked is more like it. Liberals never ever want to do away with racism. If we treated minorities like equals, Liberals would blow a gasket because "don't you get it? They need our help! By holding them to the same standard as everyone else, you're not giving them a chance!" Of course when you hold people up to the same standard, they'll almost universally meet and exceed your expectations.) and Florida's "stand your ground" law, which allows the use of deadly force by anyone who feels a reasonable threat of death or serious injury. (The alternative law states that you must retreat if you can do so safely. You know- leave the criminals to us. We, the courts and the penal system will handle everything. You can trust us- everything will be fine. Now run along now. No serously, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!) Readings of the law are crucial to a prosecution, Conway said (No earlier mention of Conway in this article. I guess you're just supposed to know who he/she is. Also, that sentence doesn't seem to be particularly worthwhile anyway. Maybe the author had a minimum word count requirement.).

The six weeks between Martin’s death and the announcement that Zimmerman would face charges led critics to list Martin along civil rights martyrs slain in the pursuit of racial justice. (Again, there's no proof or evidence that Zimmerman was a racist nor that he had profiled Martin because of his race. However, if you're going to advance a baseless cause, you need your martyrs. They'll preach that they want to ensure that "nobody ever has to die due to _______ again" but if that happened, they wouldn't have anything to do with all their idle time so they ensure it will never happen.)

Zimmerman’s supporters have sought, in turn, to portray him as a symbol of an essential American character, the community protector who risks his own safety to help his neighbors. (I'll take their word for it on this one since I haven't heard anything about that).

The news that Zimmerman would be charged came shortly after the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Martin family attorney called for the public to remain peaceful whatever the decision of the special prosecutor. (Well I don't know much, but if Rev. Al Sharpton is involved, there'll be no inciting racial hatred, nossir.)

From CNN.

Those who understand complexity see this as "literal".

I shall make bold the parts I thought were hysterical.

3M was so sure their Security Glass was unbreakable, they put a large stack of cash behind it and shoved it in a bus stop. Actually, it was only $500 of real currency stacked on top of fake money, and people could only use their feet to try to break it. A security guard was present to make sure no one broke the rules and that people couldn't get to keep the money if they broke it.

Please allow me to iterate, "3M was so sure that their Security Glass was unbreakable". Just exactly how sure were they?  Seems to me they only slightly trusted it. Seems to me that you don't want this type of glass protecting anything that actually needs protecting.

Of course the lib author of the above commentary still somehow and mysteriously found this to be "impressive". You know- because of the 30 foot head start double-footed kick. Anyone know knows anything about human physiology knows that after 10 feet, you actually slow down so those extra 20 feet are really just for impressing friends at cocktail parties. Friends who don't understand physics/aren't really paying attention anyway.

More Lib logic

Objective jourrrrnalist fails to see the ironing (libs are blind to the ironing)

Members of the National Socialist Movement during a patrol on the US-Mexico border in January

Neo-Nazis are currently conducting heavily armed patrols in and around Sanford, Florida and are "prepared" for violence in the case of a race riot. The patrols are to protect "white citizens in the area who are concerned for their safety" in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting last month, says Commander Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement. "We are not advocating any type of violence or attacks on anybody, but we are prepared for it," he says. "We are not the type of white people who are going to be walked all over."

Because nothing diffuses racial tension like gun-toting racial separatists patrolling an already on-edge community. More here:
Well, very interesting.  My sarcasm detector blew a circuit board when I read that second paragraph. I mean, since WHEN has the media in this country cared about "diffusing racial tension?"  I'll tell you when ... NEVER.

All the media does is blow "racial tension" out of proportion ... every ... single ... chance they get.  That's right ... and then they step back and write about how we all need to get along ... jackasses.

I'm going to step out on a limb and say the media is jealous.  They can't believe other peeps are horning in on their heretofore exclusive territory.

"Democratic" senator says give money to envronmentalists or die

Sen. Dick Durbin reacts to the tornadoes in Dallas, Texas earlier this week. Durbin calls for more laws regulating carbon output while he sends a dire warning that we must convert to hybrid cars or lose our life. Durbin says we must spend money now to fix the problem.

Ha, the Democratic's answer to everything ... "give us more of your freedom and money and we'll fix everything."

Also ... I thought they told us that "weather isn't climate."  I thought they said we'd be up to our wind gages in extra hurricanes for eight out of the last ten years.  Didn't they?  Yes, I think they did.  Instead, the pattern has been sort of ho-hum.

So is Little Dick Durbin out there calling for the repeal of any of these idiot environmental laws?  Answer: No. Does the average idiot lib find this the slightest bit incongruous?  Answer: No.

"It's your money or your life," he said a press conference. "We are either going to dedicate ourselves to a cleaner, more livable planet and accept the initial investment necessary or we're going to pay a heavier price in terms of loss of human life, damage and costs associated with it."

LOL.  Yes.  Little Dick Durbin from Illinois ... Lincoln would be so proud, don't you think?  Little Dick wants you to give money to his environmental buddies and he'll do anything ... I SAID ANYTHING ... to make it happen.

But seriously, Little-Dick ... "It's your money or your life?"  What's the matter you idiot "Democratic?"  Did you run into a wall while running on the hyperbole track?

This is what I mean when I say a "Democratic" is invulnerable to humiliation.  It's as if they forget about their statements right after saying them.  I suppose the media can't be bothered to show them for the fools they are every time they make a false prediction ... after all, that's all the media would be doing, day after day, after day.  See how accurate and helpful boring that would be?

These "Dumbocratic" idiots can't contain themselves.  They always have to escalate things to some wild-ass concept so far removed from reality that only idiot libs their thoroughly brainwashed sheep will buy it.

Honestly, how is this crapstain not in federal prison?  If any corporate officer in the private sector tried Durbin's tricks (fiduciary malfeasance) and bankrupted the investors, they'd be in federal prison. More here:

"Democratic" dumbasses sure hate voter ID laws

Democratic officials Wednesday launched a two-pronged attack on states with new laws requiring identification before voting, the highlight being a call to boycott Coke, Walmart and others that back a leading organization pushing for voter ID laws.

“We are organizing. We are not agonizing,” said Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., who is leading a parallel Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s effort to get government identification into the hands of the estimated 2-3 million Democrats who don’t have one. “We have staffed up,” he said. More here:

Yeow - someone must have dropped a hat -- the "Democratics" are boycotting again.

Too bad Clyburn and the "Democratics"don't produce a damn thing ... except racial animosity of course.  Otherwise we could boycott their asses.

Obama - Just saying what he thinks

LMAO @ this hypocritical braying jackass ... aka, idiot-lib.

He refers to the Supreme Court as "an "unelected group of people."  He CLEARLY thinks they should have no say-so in whether this "duly constituted and passed law" is constitutional or not.

I mean, he wants to pass any law he likes and nobody should be able to object.

Unfortunately for dumbass Obama, the framers of our constitution saw tyrants him coming way back then.

That's why they put limits on the power of government ... so asshats like Obama don't come along (with their strong majorities) and steal your freedom with a simple vote ... for your own good, of course.

Well, you heard him. And yet ... where is the first place an idiot-lib goes when there is a law they don't like? That's right, the courts.

And they sue like hell to get the law overturned.

Perhaps you'll recall the recent brouhaha in Arizona with their immigration law? How about that California marriage law? Remember those? The libs/Obama couldn't get their legal teams there fast enough. You know why? Because they were hell bent on overturning a "duly constituted and passed law," that's why.

And another thing ... at the 28-seccond mark he states the law passed with a "strong majority." And what was the "strong majority?" Shall we check the actual votes?

The house passed it 219-212 with ALL Republicans voting against (joined by 34 Democrats voting against.) That's 50.3% to 48.7%.

Does that fit YOUR understanding of "a strong majority?"

The Senate majority was higher (60-39) but again, ZERO Republicans voted for it.

Never mind that though ... it was a "strong majority" according to Obama. And he thinks a "strong majority" should rule and the court should uphold his liberty-stealing horseshit.

No question the court has upheld some idiocy in the past. Dred Scott? Fugitive slave law? Wickard vs Fulburn? I could go on and on ... but, you know, I'm talking about other "duly constituted and passed laws ... no doubt with strong majorities."  Was it right for them to uphold those laws Obama?  If not, why not?

In conclusion let me just say this ... shut up Obama, you braying jackass ... shut up and leave us alone ... how would that be? Too much to ask?
