If you're a regular reader of this blog, this is likely how tall you are.

Off-topic? Perhaps.

However, I'm a long time fan of this photo:

A tale of two crap pieces

WASHINGTON – A second House Democrat, Rep. Maxine Waters of California, could face an ethics trial this fall, further complicating the election outlook for the party as it battles to retain its majority.

People familiar with the investigation, who were not authorized to be quoted about charges before they are made public, say the allegations could be announced next week. The House ethics committee declined Friday to make any public statement on the matter.

Waters, 71, has been under investigation for a possible conflict of interest involving a bank that was seeking federal aid. Her husband owned stock in the bank and had served on its board.

New York Democrat Rep. Charles Rangel also faces an ethics trial this fall on charges that include failure to disclose assets and income, nonpayment of taxes and doing legislative favors for donors to a college center named after him.

More here: (Pic & link from Drudge.)

Yes, a tale of two crap pieces ... it was the worst of times, it was the worst of times.  I cannot stand either one of these loathsome crapstains.  They're both the epitome of the Democratics.

Maxine Waters -- remember her?  She was the one who said (to oil company executives)  "We'll just socialize your oil companies." Remember?  Here's the one-minute video if you have amnesia.

Charlie Rangel - he's been skating on thin ice for years but just kept it up and kept it up.  After all, what's a little lying, cheating, and stealing among friends.  Now his ass has been caught and needs to be put on trial - but what does Obama say?  He says "It's time for Rangel to end his career with dignity."

"Nay," quothe the Klown. I say it's time for him to end his career with a jail term.  Same for Maxine Waters, the communist.

Yep, I can just hear Obama saying the same thing about Republicans accused of crimes ...  "It's time for them to end their career with dignity."  Righhhhhttttt.  More like "It's time to form an "investigative committee" and have some show-trials like they did in the Soviet Union when their political enemies piped up.

Illegal aliens gain sympathy from the Klown

A Citi Field security guard tries to tackle a young man carrying a Mexican flag who ran onto the field in the seventh inning of the New York Mets vs the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game at Citi Field in New York, Friday, July 30, 2010.
Hey, fatso is outmaneuvering that skinny guy.  What's the story?

Men Run Onto Citi Field With Mexican Flags

NEW YORK - Two men carrying Mexican flags in protest of Arizona's immigration law ran into the outfield during the seventh inning of the New York Mets' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night at Citi Field.

The men were apprehended by security fairly quickly without much incident.

Ok, looks like fatso didn't outmaneuver him for long.

Prior to the game, about 40 people across the street from the ballpark chanted "Oppose racism!" and "Boycott Arizona!"

Others stationed closer to the subway exit handed out leaflets that requested Major League Baseball move next year's All-Star game out of Phoenix.

See, it's behavior like this that really gets my sympathy going for the illegal aliens. *Sniff* I really feel sorry for them now.

Time travel isn't for dilettantes

The next time you think about traveling back in time and meeting yourself, think of this guy:

Democrat dumbass demands dollars from dummies

Bold is mine:

WASHINGTON — If U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson were a rock star, his latest PR blitz — a DVD sent to tens of thousands of Central Florida residents — would be called Grayson's Greatest Hits.

The 90-minute disc features video highlights from his first term in office, including one of him grilling Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and another in which the Orlando Democrat preaches on the need to teach schoolchildren about the U.S. Constitution.

The DVD comes wrapped inside a mailer covered with promotional slogans: "Congressman Alan Grayson, Hard at Work for You," "He works hard. He pays attention. He gets things done," and "Video DVD Inside: Watch Congressman Grayson in Action!"

In many ways, it's the perfect campaign video — with one key difference.

Thanks to perks given to all members of Congress, it's not Grayson's campaign but taxpayers who footed the nearly $73,000 bill to produce and mail the DVD to 100,000 homes in Grayson's district of Lake, Marion, Orange and Osceola counties.

More here:

Notice that they don't mention he's a Democratic.  They probably do a little later in the story.  That's what the media does for Democratics.  For Republicans they mention it in the first sentence ... you know ... to make you aware of all the facts.

Anyway, I love how these politicians have ab-so-lutely ZERO compunction about squandering our money.  I mean it's as if they couldn't care less how much they spend.

Shirley Sherrod - fine government servant

Did you know this racist piece of crap selfless government employee -- humble servant of the people, was busy suing your ass every time she could ... for as much as she could? Are you shocked? No?

It seems Shirley Sherrod was a co-founder of a minority group that filed a $1 BILLION law suit against the USDA. The largest lawsuit ever filed against the US government by a minority group. Her group settled for $13mil plus $300K for Mrs. Sherrod personally to be split with her husband.

Tom Vilsak was Governor of IA at the time as well as the loser in the suit. Did he have a hidden agenda for firing Sherrod ...?

More here:

So now what is she up to?  She going to sue the guy that posted her racist remarks.  Only in America.

I wonder, are ALL liberals pieces of crap or just 99% of them?  By the way, I've heard other statements she has made and it is my opinion that she is a racist after all.  It's not surprising to me in the least that someone associated with the NAACP is a racist.

I searched for the entire video where she says she was "taken out of context" and the first place I found it was on the NAACP site. Once you go there, you can see the video but then a huge window pops up saying "sign up here to support Shirley Sherrod." LMAO - they won't let you watch it unless you sign up.

Well, if you want to bore yourself watching it go ahead (but find it somewhere other than the NAACP site) -- or you can take it from me, this lady is a liberal/racist piece of crap ... not to mention a person who is very happy making money suing the crap out of YOU -- AND taking your tax money in salary at the same time.

Shocker - Californians are mentally unbalanced

Almost 5 million California adults say they could use help with a mental or emotional problem, according to a survey released Wednesday by researchers at UCLA. About 1 million of them meet the criteria for "serious psychological distress."

5 Million?  Is that all?  If you ask me it's more like 75-80% of Californians that are mental midgets.  I think California's population is about 40 million so this survey shows one out of very eight Californians is a whack job.  Yes, we're all shocked ... we'd NEVER have guessed.

Regarding the post below

Edward Schaefer (in court)

I found the pic and the info below at this site:

Schaefer was speeding and ran a stop sign before he plowed down Melodie and her father, Aaron Osheroff. As Melodie lay still and struggling for breath and Aaron lay with one broken leg and the other partially severed, Schaefer flailed and screamed “Oh, it hurts so bad! I need medication!” Pussy. Melodie died the next morning at a children’’s hospital and Aaron was airlifted with critical injuries to another hospital, where one of his legs was amputated. He is currently in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Officials say Schaefer's blood-alcohol level was double the legal limit, .16, when he hit the Osheroffs.

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Well... that's a tragedy and a mystery.

A man convicted of murder for killing a 9-year-old girl while driving drunk was murdered in San Quentin prison just 10 days into a 24-year sentence. Investigators believe Edward Schaefer, 44, was stabbed to death with a homemade knife by inmate Frank Souza in the prison's reception yard, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Souza is serving a 60-years-to-life sentence for the murder of a homeless man.

Schaefer already had nine DUI convictions when he drove his motorcycle into Melody Osheroff and her father at a crosswalk last year, killing her and critically wounding him. "I'm not one of those people who rejoice in such things," Melody's mother said of Schaefer's killing. 'I don't think people being slain by another person is justified. I wanted him to be there long enough to think about what he had done."

Pictured at left is Frank Anthony Souza- the only suspect in Schaefer's murder. It is unclear if he killed him because Schaefer killed a child or because he thought he was a member of one minority or another. Either way, he doesn't look particularly "sorry".

Well, only nine convictions. Of course he went free. The Liberals and Liberal lawyers probably pleaded with the court you know- to give him just one more chance- please? You know the drill- he came from a broken home, he's an upstanding citizen and a pillar of the community, he never stood a chance with all the tough breaks dealt to him by society, and his drinking is a cry for help- he didn't know what he was doing.

However you whine the whine, he had NINE DUI CONVICTIONS and still managed to kill someone WHILE DRIVING DRUNK. Probably just a coincidence, right?

From Newser.
Having already downed a few power drinks, she turns around, faces him, looks
him straight in the eye and says, "Listen here good looking, I screw
anybody, anytime, anywhere, your place, my place, in the car, front door,
back door, on the ground, standing up, sitting down, naked or with clothes
on; it doesn't matter to me. I just love it!"

Eyes now wide with interest, he responds, "No kidding. I'm in Congress too.
What state are you from?"

More bullshit keeps on coming

Uh... right.

Over at The Huffington Post, Robbie Genet suggests Obama should really be appearing on the Glenn Beck show, to demonstrate to all (and especially the Fox-watching robots) that Beck is a naked emperor:↓

While I'm interested to see Obama's impending visit to the View, I'd like to see him break through directly to the Fox audience, who are [sic] being fed a very skewed and dangerous narrative through a calculated filter. Nine of the top ten rated news shows are on Fox, which reaches a unique audience of Americans that tune out most if not all other sources of news and information. The few million people tuning into Fox and tuning out any opposing take on reality are in dire need of a dose of actual discourse, not just one extremely slanted view. Obama needs to reach these people directly and there is no better way than to go into the "lions den" and have an unfiltered discussion with Beck in front of a massive audience for what would be one of the most watched television events in recent times. It would be watched by not just every single Fox supporter but by tens of millions of other people curious to see what transpires....

Beck is only dangerous because he is so far unconfronted [sic] in the bullsh*t arena. Obama needs to put on his hip waders, hold his nose and confront not just one deranged television personality but the entire Tea Party culture that has been constructed around Beck's white minstrel show. Obama would be a breath of fresh- nay, truthy [sic]- air and as always, a house of cards needs only a strong enough breeze to send the whole thing tumbling down. Confront your critics on their own turf and illuminate your vision direct and unfiltered. It is the only way to break through to that segment of the population and show them that Emporer [sic] Beck is indeed naked. Now that would be Must See TV!

Okay, let's have a look at this one point at a time. The Fox audience is being fed a very skewed and dangerous narrative? I guess he means that hearing from both sides of the aisle is "skewed and dangerous". Anyone who listens to Fox and the MSM knows damn well who is skewed and dangerous.

"Nine of the top ten news shows are on Fox which reaches a unique audience of Americans that tune out most if not all sources of news and information"? Where do I begin on this one? First of all, the writer clearly doesn't understand how ratings work. You don't get 90% of the ratings unless most of the people in the country are watching you. To suggest that the majority of the people are wrong sounds an awful lot like everyone in the band being out of step "except my Johnny". Furthermore, what is so unique about this audience? Is it possibly that even though they're in the vast majority that they still disagree with you and your close-knit elitist group of friends? Lastly, what makes you suspect that they "tune out most if not all sources of news and information"? Is it just more convenient that way? Arguments like that make it seem like you're the one who is one-sided and tune out most if not all contrary sources of news and information.

"The few million people tuning into Fox and tuning out any opposing take on reality are in dire need of a dose of actual discourse, not just one extremely slanted view." Doctor, heal thyself.

"Beck is only dangerous because he is so far unconfronted [sic] in the bullsh*t arena." Actually, Beck is dangerous because even though he might be an overzealous personality, he's also right on many occasions. The truth is only "dangerous" to liars and sneaks.

"Obama needs to put on his hip waders, hold his nose and confront not just one deranged television personality but the entire Tea Party culture that has been constructed around Beck's white minstrel show." Liberals just can't resist potty talk because "peeeeeeeYOU that poopy is stinky!" Anyway, Obama needs to put on his hip waders? When does he ever take them off? That guy spends every waking hour shoveling bullshit in every direction around him and every sleeping hour dreaming about doing it. Lumping the Tea Party with Beck is a feeble attempt to discredit the biggest threat to Liberals in my lifetime. Contrary to what the Left would have you believe, the Tea Party does not have a leader, they don't have a clear demographic, and they're not beholden to anyone. These three facts make the Tea Party a tremendous threat to people who only know how to follow, work with minorities only because of affirmative action, and who have achieved only through giving and receiving "favors".

Finally and lastly, he wants to see Beck naked? WHY?

From NewsBusters.

Is Obama still on vacation?

The genius of liberalism

The Massachusetts Legislature has approved a new law intended to bypass the Electoral College system and ensure that the winner of the presidential election is determined by the national popular vote.

"What we are submitting is the idea that the president should be selected by the majority of people in the United States of America," Senator James B. Eldridge, an Acton Democrat, said before the Senate voted to enact the bill.

Under the new bill, he said, "Every vote will be of the same weight across the country."

Under the law, which was enacted by the House last week, all 12 of the state's electoral votes would be awarded to the candidate who receives the most votes nationally.

What?  OMG - This is a GREAT idea.  One must wonder ... how on EARTH did this easy-peasy (and ever-so-obvious) idea escape the founding fathers?  Why there it was, right in front of their faces and yet .... ZIP ... right over their heads.  What a bunch of dumbasses the founding fathers must have been.

The bill, which passed on a 28-to-9 vote, now heads to Democratic Governor Deval Patrick's desk. The governor has said in the past that he supports the bill, said his spokeswoman Kim Haberlin.

LMAO - It passes 28-9 - unreal that it even passes, much less by that much.  Do these people EVER think beyond the end of their noses?   This is both the idiocy AND the "principles" of liberals on full display.

Let me ask you something.  Massachusetts is a liberal state right?  And the next time they vote for a liberal president but the conservative gets more votes nationally, how are they going to feel seeing all their electoral votes go to the EXACT OPPOSITE candidate?  Sheesh, what a bunch of liberals idiots.

Of course, if liberals decide to change the rules then they're going to stick with it, right?   Because they'd only change the rules if they saw that it was necessary to achieve what is right and true.  Don't you just love how liberals are so honest, forthright, and principled? They can always be counted on to "do the right thing."

The liberal morons in Massachussetts have priors on this kind of principled behavior.  Recently Massachusetts had to replace a senator.  When this happens in most states, the governor appoints a replacement.  But not Massachusets, nooooo.  Why, because when Kerry ran for VP, the governor was going to appoint his replacement (if he won) but there was a Republican governor (Romney) and the liberals in the legislature didn't want him to appoint the replacement -- so they did what all spoiled, piece-of-crap, sneaky adolecents principled men do in those circumstances ... they changed the rules (to special election instead of appointment.)

Then, when Kennedy croaked (finally) there was going to be a special election to replace him and the legislature changed the rules back to let the governor (now a "Democratic") appoint the replacement (until the special election was held.)  Tsk, they didn't get the rules changed all the way back in time -- isn't that a shame?  They got screwed.  So unfair.

By the way, this is the same crowd that wants the Republicans to let Obama appoint any communist he wants to the Supreme Court.  Their reasoning? "Hey, elections have consequences."

Yes, elections have consequences ... and we should all just shut up and accept it ... unless you're an idiot liberal ... then you flail like a Klown who just walked into a huge spider web.

Liberals and Canadians wouldn't understand.

Imagine this scenario- there's an agitated man with a knife being confronted by police. The smart money says, "drop the knife and surrender". Liberals and Canadians would say, "He was scared. He didn't trust the police. He felt threatened and was only trying to protect himself."

The sad truth is that the vocal minority has hobbled law enforcement. They are so overly interested in the protection of the freedom and rights of the individual that society as a whole is exposed to unnecessary risk. Gone are the days when a criminal would be treated like a criminal. Today, law abiding people are the criminals and anyone protecting themselves or their property are looked at with suspicion.

In the following video, the brow beaten police have convinced themselves that the last thing they should ever do is shoot this man who is brandishing a knife and disregarding orders to drop the knife. They could not accept the fact that the man was not going to cooperate. They found themselves unable to subdue him since they had been brainwashed into believing that lethal force was not acceptable ever instead of it being a last resort.

Just like the national defense policies of the Obama administration, these police officers waited until the man proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that he was violent before they acted appropriately. Of course as any good Conservative knows, that's too late. Rather than following policy, these officers should have used their minds. They should have used the lost art of good judgment and subdued the threat.

The next time you hear about the bleeding hearts whining that a man was gunned down by police when "all he had was a knife", think about this video. Also, if you're a police officer, keep in mind that even if your handgun only has an accurate range of 50 yards, it's still got a 49 yard advantage over a knife so keep a safe distance.

Illegal aliens bolt Arizona in advance of new law

PHOENIX, July 25 (Reuters) - Nicaraguan mother Lorena Aguilar hawks a television set and a few clothes on the baking sidewalk outside her west Phoenix apartment block.

A few paces up the street, her undocumented Mexican neighbor Wendi Villasenor touts a kitchen table, some chairs and a few dishes as her family scrambles to get out of Arizona ahead of a looming crackdown on illegal immigrants.

"Everyone is selling up the little they have and leaving," said Villasenor, 31, who is headed for Pennsylvania. "We have no alternative. They have us cornered."

The two women are among scores of illegal immigrant families across Phoenix hauling the contents of their homes into the yard this weekend as they rush to sell up and get out before the state law takes effect on Thursday.

LMAO - She's going to Pennsylvania ... not back to Mexico, no ... to Pennsylvania.  What a joke.  Yes, this means that Arizona's economy will improve (but watch the media tell you how their economy sucks now ... trust me, it's all you're going to hear for a while.  Yes, that is what the media will tell you ... but how do YOU think the job situation will be -- better or worse?  Use your head.

Sure some parts may fall behind at first but they are on their way to recovery faster than everyone else.  Meanwhile, the rest of our state politicians are resting on their asses and the illegals are moving to our states.

Polls show the measure is backed by a solid majority of Americans and by 65 percent of Arizona voters in this election year for some state governors, all of the U.S. House of Representatives and about a third of the 100-seat Senate.

Really? I would never have known. Every news report I hear from the liberal media is "The controversial new Arizona law ..." The media, what a laughing stock they have become ... and they wonder why they're going broke ... total idiots.  Hee haw  - Hee Haw.

"Under the law, if you transport an illegal immigrant, you are committing a crime," she said as she sold children's clothes at a yard sale with three other families. "They could arrest him for driving me to the shops."

Ooooo, nice touch, Arizona.

Isn't That Special?

And Conservatives are the "hate-mongers"...

Sarah Spitz, a National Public Radio producer, shocked even herself by the level of hatred she harbors for Rush Limbaugh. She said in an email that she would, “Laugh loudly like a maniac and watch [Rush Limbaugh’s] eyes bug out” as he writhed in torment from a heart attack.

“I never knew I had such hate in me,” she wrote. “But he deserves it.”

I Didn't Realize It's A Real Company

Remember "J. Peterman", the catalog company Elaine worked for on the sitcom "Seinfeld"? It's actually a real company (and has been for over 20 years). In 2001, in a strange case of fact following fiction, John O'Hurley (who portrayed Peterman in the show) became a major investor in the company, and sits on its board of directors to this day.

Oops, she wasn't a witch after all

WASHINGTON – The White House did a sudden about-face Wednesday and begged for forgiveness from the black Agriculture Department employee whose ouster ignited an embarrassing political firestorm over race. She was offered a "unique opportunity" for a new job and said she was thinking it over.

With lightning speed, the controversy moved from Monday's forced resignation of a minor U.S. Ag official in Georgia to Tuesday's urgent discussions at the White House amid a rising public outcry and then to Wednesday's repeated apologies and pleas for Shirley Sherrod to come back.

Sherrod said she resigned under White House pressure after the airing of a video of racial remarks she made at an NAACP gathering. But Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said repeatedly on Wednesday that the decision had been his alone. More here:

Well, let me say the first thing that jumps to mind.  They forgave her because she's black. (Not really, but that's what you'd hear if she were white.)

The real reason they forgave her is because a bunch of black organizations came to her aid and threatened to sue the ever-loving-crap out of the government if they didn't give her her job back.  And if it were only the money they STILL wouldn't care.  But that's not it ... they knew they would be subpoenaed to testify and would have to admit to their TOTAL INCOMPETENCE ... THAT, is what stopped this train.  Otherwise, Ms Sherrod would have been doomed.

It's funny, isn't it?  This was so clear that even an idiot like me knew it was bogus just from reading the news reports.  AND, I knew it before the great rulers and geniuses in the government.  It's not their fault though ladies and gentlemen.  They are the biggest bunch of INCOMPETENT BOOBS boobs on the face of the earth.  They are  easily manipulated by the media and political correctness.

These people don't have any principles.  They aren't interested in finding facts.  They are only interested in jumping though politically correct hoops and hoping you won't point at them and holler "witch." - that's it.  They don't care how their behavior affects other people, they only care about themselves and their buddies .  They tax you to provide the funds they use make up more bureaucracies  (or fund projects/contracts) and then give the jobs/contracts to their buddies.  Then their buddies use that money to contribute to the politician's campaign fund and the circle continues.

Al Gore was right - things are heating up

The ENQUIRER reports in an exclusive bombshell exclusive that police have investigated charges from TWO MORE WOMEN who claimed they were abused by former VP AL GORE!

The allegations come hot on the heels of an ongoing Portland, Ore., police investigation that reopened after The ENQUIRER exclusively revealed accusations by a licensed massage therapist who says Gore groped her in 2006.

The ENQUIRER recently uncovered shocking allegations, from two other massage therapists. More here:

Isn't this always the way with these "celebrities?"  One accuser comes forward and then you can't hold them back, the woodwork comes alive.

Speaking for myself, if this is true, I'm going to enjoy watching this shyster get his.  Oh, PLEASE televise the trials -- PLEASE!  I'm smelling popcorn already.

Hey morons, Congress snuck another one by you

Those already outraged by the president's health care legislation now have a new bone of contention -- a scarcely noticed tack-on provision to the law that puts gold coin buyers and sellers under closer government scrutiny.

The issue is rising to the fore just as gold coin dealers are attracting attention over sales tactics.
Section 9006 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will amend the Internal Revenue Code to expand the scope of Form 1099. Currently, 1099 forms are used to track and report the miscellaneous income associated with services rendered by independent contractors or self-employed individuals.

Starting Jan. 1, 2012, Form 1099s will become a means of reporting to the Internal Revenue Service the purchases of all goods and services by small businesses and self-employed people that exceed $600 during a calendar year. Precious metals such as coins and bullion fall into this category and coin dealers have been among those most rankled by the change. More here:

Yes, and Congress' approval rating currently stands at 12%.  There are two things about this fact I don't understand:
1 - Why doesn't Congress care?
2 - No, really, why doesn't Congress give one flaming damn?

The answer?  Because voters are idiots, that's why. The figure they keep getting voted back in over and over so, what the heck, keep screwing the pooch.

I have lots of expense categories of stuff for which I pay a combined total of over $600 per year.  I wonder if I'll have to file 1099's on all that stuff. I guess I'll have to research it.

You know what I love -- I LOVE researching tax law for hours and hours and hours.  I have nothing at all better to do.  I guess I could just say the hell with it and pay through the nose for an accountant to figure it out for me -- and then have him/her tell me to do the work of gathering the proper receipts etc.

I mean, it's not as if I spend any time managing taxes now, right?  As it is, it's only one or two hours a week - (unless it's the end of the year, then it's more, much more) that's nothing - it's not as if I have anything better to do than jump through hoops for the government ... you know ... so I can make sure they're only stealing the smallest amount possible from me.

The part that kills me is how Congress really doesn't care about the burden it puts on businesses ... could give a flaming damn ... try making a mistake on your taxes one time and see how compassionate the government is.

And finally, do they think they're being clever by burying this in a health-care bill?  Why do they do this?  Oh yeah, I forgot, because we're stupid and there will be no consequences whatsoever for their behavior.

Nice try, Batman.

Gather 'round everyone, we're hangin' a witch!

Excerpts, bold is mine.

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is standing by its quick decision to oust a black Agriculture Department employee over racially tinged remarks at an NAACP banquet in Georgia, despite evidence that her remarks were misconstrued and growing calls for USDA to reconsider.

Shirley Sherrod, who until Tuesday was the Agriculture Department's director of rural development in Georgia, says the administration caved to political pressure by pushing her to resign for saying that she didn't give a white farmer as much help as she could have 24 years ago, when she worked for a nonprofit group.

"They called me twice," she told The Associated Press in an interview. "The last time they asked me to pull over to the side of the road and submit my resignation on my Blackberry, and that's what I did."

Sherrod said administration officials weren't interested in hearing her explanation. "It hurts me that they didn't even try to attempt to see what is happening here, they didn't care," she said. "I'm not a racist ... Anyone who knows me knows that I'm for fairness." The rest here:

LOL @ "But I'm not a witch sinner - I'm not a witch sinner."

Yes you are, Shirley.  You are a witch and they found you out.   You're just as much of a witch as most people are.  And now you will pay with your livelihood and your reputation ... oh, and good luck trying to find a decent job after this, it's over.

This is what you get for being silent when others were losing their livelihoods from being called a witch.   I sure hope your children like to do with less.

This is what you get when you vote for politically correct geniuses incompetent boobs over and over.  Incompetent boobs who have been cowed into silence like everyone else for fear of being called a witch.

It's also what you get when you insist on funding the propaganda arm of the politically correct geniuses liberal media by purchasing the products they advertise.

I'm afraid we, as consumers, need to be a lot smarter about the way we spend our money.  We need to find ways to support media/websites which provide information that isn't, erm, INSANE.   Personally, I've never taken much time to determine which advertisers support which media.  That's going to change. In my view, this is a critical (yet overlooked) avenue available to us to effect change.

Yeah, I'm only one person.  I can't make a difference.  You're right, I should all just remain silent, remain  obedient, and accept my fate.

I wonder if there's a web site dedicated to this already.  I shall look into it and report back if I find anything of interest.

Thinking of a day trip?

This site is new but it lists some factory tours you can take if you're into that kind of thing (and I am.)  They're adding to the list all the time.

Gaaa - teens were "victimized"

Cathleen M. Miller, 40, is charged with criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse, accused of molesting four of her daughter's 14- and 15-year-old male friends and giving them alcohol and marijuana.

Miller had intercourse with two of the teens, oral sex with a third and fondled a fourth, according to prosecutors, who said the boys were friends with Miller's teenage daughter.

Omg, SUCH "abuse."   The poor innocents are scarred for life.  They probably didn't realize what she was doing.  They were all "Hey, Mrs M, what's up?  Hey, what are you doing?  That feels funny, Mrs M -- stop, stop, STOP!!

Some Learning For You

I heard of this first on an episode of "NCIS" of all places. I wonder if he memorized the lyrics?

A classic.

I first watched this video before people were posting videos on the internet. I'm glad it made it through the transition because this guy is royally stupid. He sure seemed a lot more sure of himself before his feat of wonder. Something tells me he should have tested 'er out beforehand.

The brilliant commentator says, "it's hard to watch this without laughing". Yes... and? She continues to say "the ladder slips". The ladder doesn't slip. The mechanical genius only had it attached at the bottom. He used the fence a second point of stabilization but he climbs so far up the ladder that it acts only as a fulcrum. He has so much leverage way up there on the ladder that he's able to miraculously flex what he formerly thought was an inflexible object.

Once the ladder flexes, it leaves him wiggling his legs in midair as though if he scurried fast enough, he'd get enough traction to propel himself over the water instead of falling head first into the cement. Luckily for him, his head broke the fall from what would otherwise mean certain damage to his legs.

NAACP is nothing more than a bunch of bigots?

"We don't care about the pigment of one's skin," he said. Dennis accused the NAACP of playing the "race card" and called the organization "irrelevant."

St. Louis Tea Party organizer Bill Hennessy wrote on the group's website Tuesday that the Tea Party stands for smaller government and fiscal responsibility, and accused the NAACP of abandoning black America.

"When you look at the crime and poverty and family breakdown of the African-American community ... you see a half-century of failure by the NAACP," he wrote. "None of those persistent problems was caused by the Tea Party movement, yet the principles of the Tea Party are exactly what's needed to wind down the multigenerational destruction in the African-American community.

"The NAACP was once a vital weapon in the war against segregation and oppression. All that's left is a bigoted and malicious shell that does far more harm than good for people who need a break," he wrote.

Fellow St. Louis Tea Party organizer Dana Loesch accused the NAACP of morphing into a political organization.

"They no longer prioritize civil rights," she told Fox News. More here:

My take?  The NAACP may have been a civil rights organization at some point, but I don't remember it.  I've always thought they were nothing more than black racists dressed up in suits.  They don't do anything for black people.  All they do is point and holler "witch" "racist" at white people.

Facts? They mean nothing to liberals

You know the part I like best about this video.  When the reporter asks Harry Reid why he didn't allow Senator Session's bill (on E-Verify) up for a vote -- and Harry says -- this is why we need comprehensive reform, we can't do it piecemeal.

Excuse me?  You can't let employers use the E-Verify unless you do "comprehnsive immigration reform?"  Why not?  I ask you ... is Harry an idiot?  Or does he think we're idiots?  Cuz I'm thinking it's one or the other.

And yes, he's in total denial about how illegal immigration is affecting jobs and the economy in general ... not to mention costing us billions of our hard-earned dollars.  Politicians who steal our money like this need to be jailed.

"Controversial" Billboard - no wait, EVERYONE hates it

Bold is mine:

DES MOINES, Iowa – A billboard created by an Iowa tea party group that compares President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler and Vladimir Lenin is drawing sharp criticism — even from fellow tea party activists who have condemned it as offensive and a waste of money.

The North Iowa Tea Party began displaying the billboard in downtown Mason City last week. The sign shows large photographs of Obama, Nazi leader Hitler and communist leader Lenin beneath the labels "Democratic Socialism," "National Socialism," and "Marxist Socialism."

Beneath the photos is the phrase, "Radical leaders prey on the fearful & naive." More here:

Ok, who thinks Stalin would have been more recognizable than Lenin?  Ahhh, who cares, right?

Anyway, I love how this "jourrrrrnalist" tells you that everyone hates this billboard -- just EVERYONE -- even the teabaggers who paid to put it up -- that's right -- even stupid, despicable teabaggers hate this billboard.  Those stupid teabaggers ... they're just so confused ... and stupid.  You know what I mean -- stupid -- like Sarah Palin is stupid -- and all conservatives are stupid -- you get the idea -- and all liberals are geniuses and masterminds.

I wonder where this totally fair and objective jourrrrnalist was when  crap like this was everywhere for eight years.  Seriously, you couldn't swing a dead cat without getting fur all over some Bush-Hitler sign.  I guess these types of things didn't "draw criticism."  They weren't "controversial."

Ever notice how jourrrrnalists use the word "controversial?"  For example, Arizona's immigration law is "controversial."  However, Obama suing Arizona to stop them from enforcing immigration law is NOT controversial ... get it?  Good.

From now on, whenever you hear an idiot lib jourrrrnalist use the word "controversial," you'll know you're about to hear some serious bullshit coming right behind it.

A Monty Python Sketch I've Never Seen Before

That would be a bit irritating.

A C-130 was lumbering along when a cocky F-16 flashed by.

The jet jockey decided to show off.

The fighter jock told the C-130 pilot, 'watch this!' and promptly
went into a barrel roll followed by a steep climb. He then finished
with a sonic boom as he broke the sound barrier. The F-16 pilot
asked the C-130 pilot what he thought of that?

The C-130 pilot said, 'That was impressive, but watch this!'

The C-130 then droned along for about 5 minutes and then the C-130  pilot came back on and said: 'What did you think of that?'
Puzzled, the F-16 pilot asked, 'What the heck did you do?'

The C-130 pilot chuckled. 'I stood up, stretched my legs, walked
to the back, took a leak, then got a cup of coffee and a
cinnamon roll.'

Hat tip to my friend, Forrest.

My new bumper sticker

Ok, here's the call ... I signed up to get this free bumper sticker.

I have several reasons I think this is fun ... here are a few.

1 - I want jourrrrrnalists (and other idiot libs) to see it and read it as "In your face, jackass."

2 - I went a long time thinking there was something wrong with the media but I couldn't put my finger on it.  Had I seen one of these stickers I think it would have helped me see the pattern of liberalism much sooner.

3 - Most of the old "news media" is going broke faster than a redneck in a strip club but they continue to aggressively push a socialist agenda, and it's affecting my happiness.

Organization like the MRC (Media Research Center) are exposing and neutralizing the liberal media, but too many Americans are being deceived and misled. Take a stand right now by clicking the link to get your free bumper sticker and help spread this message across the nation.

Click here to request your bumper sticker:

They'll send you a reply email thanking you etc -- and they have a feature where you can forward that email to your friends and you can see how many of them sign up -- and how many forwarded your mail -- and how many of their friends signed up -- etc etc etc.

Of course, I didn't get this email because I unchecked the boxes that said "send me email now and then" etc.

However, after I signed up, another page popped up that said "you missed our link email so you won't be able to track your sign ups unless you click here."  So I clicked there and got my link email anyway (still without signing up for more emails.)

Another peace loving Black Panther named Shabazz

another reason not to learn english

New Jersey's Supreme Court has ruled that police must inform drunken driving suspects in their native language that they are legally required to take a breathalyzer test.

“If the man doesn't understand English, how does he read traffic signs, all of which are in English? How do you read the sign held by the road construction worker, "stop" or "slow"? If they can't read "Exit Ramp – Do Not Enter" couldn't innocent people die?”

Court rules breathalyzer test laws must be explained in suspect's native language

July 12, 2:11 PM • Bruce Maiman - Populist Examiner

How far should American society should go to accommodate people who don't know English?

New Jersey's Supreme Court has ruled that police must inform drunken driving suspects in their native language that they are legally required to take a breathalyzer test.

Three years ago, German Marquez was involved in a two-car accident. New Jersey police, who suspected him of DUI, read him a statement explaining that he had to consent to take a breath test and that failure to comply could lead to suspension of your driver’s license and a fine of up to two grand.

Marquez didn't consent. That's because he doesn't speak English. He only speaks Spanish. So Marquez was convicted on two charges: Driving while intoxicated, and; refusing to take a breath test when asked by police to do so.

Marquez' lawyer, Michael Blacker, didn't challenge the DUI conviction, but appealed the conviction on refusing to take the breath test. Blacker argued that the explanation about the law on testing should have been given in Spanish, as the accused does not understand English.

Blacker not only wanted the court to overturn the conviction but wanted the court to mandate translations of the breath test statement --which state law requires to be read before it's administered. The attorney says that if the statement is translated, it'll "level the playing field equal to English speakers."

The court agreed. In its 4-3 decision, the court overturned the conviction because the officer failed to inform the motorist, in Spanish, that he would lose his license if he refused the test.

Until today's ruling, no state had required translation of the statement for non-English speakers. In most states, drivers give implied consent to a breath test as a condition to the privilege of being allowed to drive on the road. It's known as the implied consent law. And in most states, police are required to make a reasonable effort to inform drivers of the consequences of refusing to take the test.

Marquez claimed he didn't know about that law.

Makes you wonder then, why we even have a state-issued drivers' manual to explain the rules of the road, a manual states make readily available in various translations so that non-English speakers can study for the driver's exam in their native language. Still, in support of attorney Michael Blacker's case, the ACLU filed an amicus brief arguing that non-English speakers are unfairly treated because they are "held to a higher standard of remembering their prior study of the driver's manual" than are English speakers.

Really? You mean after reading the driver's manual in your own language, you're going to plead that ignorance of the law is now a valid excuse?

One would hope one remembers not to go through a red light. You'd think one would remember they're not supposed to drive under the influence. Do they leave that out of the driver's manual when it's translated into another language?

If the man doesn't understand English, how does he read traffic signs, all of which are in English? How do you read the sign held by the road construction worker, "stop" or "slow"? If they can't read "Exit Ramp – Do Not Enter" couldn't innocent people die? The ACLU doesn't answer that question.

Lower courts ruled against Marquez though they did recommend that New Jersey make translations of the consent statement available in Spanish and other languages, which the state did. An official website provides recordings of the breath test statement in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish. The problem here: Police can access the site and play the statement in the suspect’s preferred language, though using the site remains at the discretion of the police and, according to the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, "is not intended to create any substantive rights for DUI arrestees."

The implications nationwide are obvious. The ruling sets a precedent that can be applied in other states, forcing states to spend tax dollars to accommodate non-English speaking drivers, or it might also affect how vigorously police apply the implied consent law at a DUI stop or even how they arrest people for DUI in the first place.

FYI: Police spoke in Spanish when asking Marquez to produce a license, but they didn't speak Spanish in reading the DUI statement.

FYI 2: Marquez isn't driving in New Jersey at the moment: He's "been in prison since last July on unrelated drug offenses."

Should drivers be given a license if they're not literate in English?

FYI: Non-English speaking foreign tourists are a separate category. They can drive legally with a license from their home country, and an International Driving Permit which will translate the information from, for example, a French Permis de Conduire into English, for the benefit of an American highway patrolman. The reason for making them an exception is that their presence is temporary and they tend to be from first world countries, some of which have higher standards of driver's education than the U-S. Resident aliens, legal and illegal, are in the country 365 days a year, and potentially could be driving all day, every day

Why I love I Hate the Media.

From I Hate the Media:

You’ve probably seen the ad we ran to welcome Al Gore to the tony seaside community of Montecito, California. It’s gone viral and the traffic has already downed our server twice.
As expected, we’ve received a ton of hate mail, but none more hateful and incoherent than this one from a proud, liberal Montecito resident.
To: Editor
Montecito Resident
The town is making every sarcastic, insulting remark about your outfit from our offices to the restaurants. You’re a laughing joke!
1. No one “warmly” welcomes someone they despise.

2. Those who “hate” the media, would not contribute to it by paying for a full-page ad.

3. Why would you care about a so-called carbon footprint, when you obviously don’t believe there is such a thing as climate change?

4. Al Gore did not build this house. Why have you not attacked the person who designed it and built on grounds that use to be open space and supported views and wildlife? Why are you not angry with the people that owned it before Mr. Gore?

5. I live alone and have 4 TV’s, however, never is there more than one on at a time! You can have 17 fireplaces, but usually only one is on at a time, not six! That house has gas fireplaces – it will not be burning any forests. (Sorry you don’t have even one.)

6. Why have you not attacked Ivan Reitman, Stuart Whitman, Dennis Miller, Carole Burnett, Steve Martin, Oprah, John Cleese and Rob Rowe, Eric Schmidt of Google??????? I could go on and on.

7. Over 80% of houses with ocean views in Montecito have over an acre, a swimming pool and spa and multiple fireplaces, bedrooms and baths. Duh! You’ve obviously never stepped your carbon smutty foot in Montecito!

8. I’m sorry your hatred and envy of what you think you know, but don’t, is burning such a hot hole in your heart. I guess those who have nothing, and no power, will always blame others and resent their success.

P.S. You’ll have no money in the Bank of Karma at the end of your life either.
I'd like to respond to this stupidity point by point if I may.

  1. They do when they're being facetious, or as many morons on the internet would mistakenly argue, ironic.
  2. Those who hate the media clearly would contribute to it by paying for a full-page ad. This point is demonstrated by the fact that they did contribute to it by paying for a full-page ad.
  3. Climate Change might be a myth but people like Al Gore profiting from it is a painful reality. The particularly painful part is that he's going to be making a mint with OUR money and that's going to happen whether or not we believe in Climate Change.
  4. Probably because the person who built it, designed it or lived in it isn't busy preaching hypocritical mumbo jumbo against just such a dwelling.
  5. I guess the missed point is that fireplaces are virtually impossible to properly insulate and are known wasters of energy.
  6. Refer to response 4. Listen, if you're going to iterate your gripes, I'm going to iterate my reasonable, logical, and even-minded responses.
  7. So... just because everyone is doing it, that makes it alright? Duh. Also and again, those people aren't making themselves rich by preaching about energy conservation.
  8. To use your own words and argument from item 1, No one apologizes to someone they despise. Although Democrats universally crave power, not everyone does. For many of us, our lack of "power" only means that we're free to do as we please. You Democrats on the other hand, spend most of your time trying to gain power and the rest of it trying to prevent others from taking it away from you. Those of us who don't trifle in such frivolities are free to speak the truth without ever having to worry about jeopardizing "crucial alliances" with people that we would otherwise avoid.
P.S. Karma is  not a bank and has nothing to do with money (or power for that matter) and since (unlike you), I believe in God and know that my life will never end.

Not sure if this is the real deal or not but I like it

The following was a letter to the editor of the LA Times. I must say he is
a little ticked off, as you can tell.

I can't believe that a major metropolitan paper like the LA Times would
publish drivel like your distortion-laden column I had the misfortune to
read today. The citizens of Arizona passed a law that makes it necessary
to prove you are in their state LEGALLY. They are tired of paying TWO
BILLION taxpayer dollars a year in medical and educational benefits to
people in their state ILLEGALLY. They are tired of the Mexican drug
traffickers, kidnappings (389 last year), traffic accidents, and crime
caused by ILLEGAL immigrants in their state. They are tired of citizens
of a foreign country overcrowding and bankrupting their emergency rooms
and schools. They have the ABSOLUTE RIGHT to defend their state when the
federal government fails to do so just like I have the right to put three
hollow-points in the chest of the guy who's trying to kick in my front
door when the cops don't show up.

It has been the law in this country since 1940 that foreign nationals be
able to produce proof that they are here LEGALLY by way of visa, green
card, etc. This "Produce your papers" and the allusions to Nazi Germany is
a bunch of dishonest claptrap. If you took time to read the Arizona law
(assuming you can read English) you would see that police officers may
only inquire as to an individuals immigration status in the course of a
"legal contact". The problem with you and Mexicans like you is the fact
that you have this sense of entitlement that you can enter OUR COUNTRY as
you please. You come from a culture and a country with no respect for the
law or the rule of law. The United States is a sovereign nation with the
ABSOLUTE RIGHT to decide who does and does not enter our country.

What amuses me the most is the fact that if our illegal immigration
problem was due to the influx of SWEDES, you wouldn't have written ONE
WORD in the defense of their rights. It is only because they are
Hispanics like you that you leap to their defense. I find it ironic that
you are truer to your Hispanic roots than you are to your American
citizenship, especially since the Hispanic culture is a broke-dick,
busted-ass, ignorant-ass, uneducated, going-nowhere culture and has been
for the last 500 years, and in all likelihood, will be for the NEXT 500

When I moved to California in 1969, Los Angeles was a clean prosperous
city. Now it's broke under the weight of massive entitlements. Now we
need concertina wire to protect our freeway signs from Hispano-moron
graffiti "artists'. What an enlightened culture you come from that
believes that vandalizing anothers property is an art form. Over 400
California families have lost loved ones to ILLEGAL immigrant murderers.
40% of the criminals incarcerated in our prisons at CALIFORNIA TAXPAYER
EXPENSE, are ILLEGAL immigrants. Thank you so much for our overcrowded
ERs, schools and freeways. Thanks also for the gangs and the drive-by
shootings. In all fairness though, I like the tacos.

If I want to enter Mexico , France , England , Germany or ANY country on
this earth, I need to produce a passport to do so. It's THEIR COUNTRY and
I need to ask permission to do so. HOW DARE you and your brethren think
that they have some God-given right to flout our laws and come into our
country of their own accord. You and people like you are the textbook
example of why the fewer Mexicans we have in our country, the better our
country will be. We manage to produce a steady supply of home-grown
idiots on our own, thanks very much (Exhibit A - Obama)

Good luck with your boycotts and your protests. Just remember; amigo, 70%
of the people in Arizona and 65% of Americans LOVE this law. Every time
you put together thousands of protesters, you piss off MILLIONS of people
like me.

Hasta la vista, baby.

Tom Edwards
