Oopsie daisy - made an error

A pilot died Monday after he was struck in the head by a moving airplane propeller, according to officials.

The single-engine plane pilot was struck in the head after he got out of his aircraft in the ramp area of Gillespie Field in El Cajon east of San Diego.

Gordon Woodard, 41, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries where he died later, according to airport spokesperson Ian Gregor.

Woodard realized the engine had stalled after pulling it out of the hangar. "We believe he got out of the plane to manually start the propeller," said Gregor in a statement.

"When the propeller engaged, it struck him in the head." In the aviation industry, starting the engine manually is called "hot propping," and is generally considered very dangerous.More here:

Bush is so stupid - why doesn't he just shut up?

President Bush mistakenly referred to the nation of Georgia as "Russia" after a bilateral meeting with the Georgian president -- an unfortunate slip-up, given that the president was celebrating 20 years of Georgian independence from Soviet rule. More here:

It's funny, isn't it? And why does the media, blast this incessantly every five minutes. I guess they need to make sure that you understand that Bush/Republicans are total idiots.

What's that you say? You aren't hearing it anywhere? Hmmmm. That's a mystery ... a real stumper. I'd bet you can click the link and you'll figure it out within 10 seconds.

Nope, awesome try though

Ron Paul is a Racist

Leave it to San Francisco - the city impervious to humiliation

(Reuters) - Just cleared airport security and in need of a little deep breathing and stretching relaxation?

San Francisco Airport has opened what it calls a first of its kind yoga room, and while it's not quite a mountaintop in Tibet, airport officials say the low lights, and soothing blue walls aim to afford travelers, stressed out or sanguine, an oasis of calm in which to flex, twist and decompress.

"As far as we know it's the first (yoga room) at an airport anywhere in the world," said Michael C. McCarron, director of community affairs for the airport.

He said the idea for the room, in the newly refurbished Terminal 2, came from a passenger suggestion at an open house. It joins the Berman reflection room, a space intended for silence and meditation located before Terminal 2 security. More here:

Wow.  It's about time, isn't it?  Why has no one thought if this before?  Pure genius, I tell ya.  Whenever I'm out traveling, it never fails to occur to me "Gee, I'd like to be doing some yoga right about now."  Never mind renting the car and getting my bags, trying to get a bite to eat ... who cares about those things when you can do some yoga.

Hey, I give it 50-50 odds the "relaxing yoga room" has a glass wall so passengers walking the concourse can see you doing your yoga.  Cuz really, I'd guess that doing yoga in the airport isn't in big demand ... even for libs ... unless they can be seen doing it ... you know ... as a lesson to their intellectual inferiors.

LOL @ "I've done nothing wrong"

He keeps screaming he's done nothing wrong ... except he must have forgotten about tearing down the notices my representatives posted.  Oh, and he also remains "living" on public property after being told to take a hike/get a job.

I'm thinking about that one.  I'm not sure of my position on "public property."  I'm not sure there should be any such thing.  Given that there is though, I'm not sure that everyone should be able do anything they please with it.

Anyway, you can click the pic/link to go watch a braindead hippie get tased the video.  Hey, Bozo, take a shave/bath.

Muppets - They're not interested in brainwashing your kids, Noooo

North Carolina prepares to punish new witches

Well, I've always said that criminals run from the police because it makes perfect sense to do so. "Charged with" does not mean "convicted of."  Any extra penalties they might incur will invariably be plea bargained to nothing.  When is the last time you heard of anyone having to serve more prison time for running from the police?  Right.

So along comes the North Carolina legislature.  I know you can't believe this but, bad-daggit, they went and found themselves a witch.  That's right, a witch.  And we can steal from witches and nobody will say anything ... oh, it's so sweet.

The North Carolina state government will implement the “Run and You’re Done” law beginning December 1 2011. Governor Bev Perdue signed the bill into law on June 23. This new law allows North Carolina to seize the vehicle of anyone convicted of felony speeding to elude.

The vehicle would then be auctioned off to the highest bidder, bringing revenue to the police agency responsible for the seizure. The entity responsible for selling the vehicle will keep seizure fees and sales fees. (Ha ha, of course, these "entities" won't be friends with the cops, judges, or politicians.)  Then the remainder of the profit will be distributed to the county government like a normal fine. LOL -- "the profit."

Under the new law, the seized vehicle can be sold even if the actual owner of the vehicle is unaware of its use for speeding (Uh, excuse me?  Does that sound "right" to you? Isn't this always the way with idiot politicians?). Police will need to place a legal advertisement in the newspaper on two occasions and paste up three handbills near the place of seizure before selling the car. (What?  No requirement for dancing an Irish jig at midnight, on a full moon, while swinging a dead cat over your head?)  In total, the process can be done in 24 days. A provision has been put in place forbidding the sale of highly modified performance vehicles. (Huh?) The modified vehicles are to be “turned over to such governmental agency or public official within the territorial jurisdiction of the court as the court shall see fit, to be used in the performance of official duties only.”  (Sure, that doesn't seem one bit incongruous or gratuitous.)

Can't you just imagine the cops dancing with glee after they get to keep some guy's "highly modified performance vehicle."

While I agree that running from justice is a crime, I do NOT believe the government should just start stealing the person's money and/or property (unless it's going DIRECTLY to recompense a victim of their crime.)  And while my guess is existing laws hamper the police's ability to profit by fines, these new laws have opened the doors of profit wide open.

You know how local communities profit from "drunk drivers?" Well, this is the cop's "piece of the pie."  That's right, they liked it so much stealing the drug people's (also witches) cars that they decided to apply that same principle to other witches.

I'd much rather that a dangerous idiot be kept in jail for longer periods than let out early with the local police dept snagging a souped up Corvette.  What a bunch of bullshit.  And the best part is it's all done right in front of your face.
The thing is, I think criminals should pay and pay dearly for running from the police.  I mean, these asshats are running away from the guys I'm paying to keep the streets safe.  Ok?  You don't run from my guys, jackass.

On the other hand, if you let the police/government profit from fining criminals, where you do think that road leads?  I'll give you an example.  First "being under the influence" was defined as having a blood alcohol level of .15 ... then it went to .12 ... then to .10 ... now it's at .08 ... and they fine with abandon, my friends ... everybody is in on it ... the lawyers, judges, cops, everyone ... it's a HUGE party.

This pic will give you brain damage

Some political cartoons I found to be entertaining...

Representative Allen West (R - Florida) makes the call

"Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America," Rep. Allen West (R-FL) said at the Palm Beach County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner. West represents the district in the U.S. Congress. From here:

Heh, I wish this guy would get picked for VP or something. Of course, the only reason for me to do so is to cover up my racism.

A witch, a witch!! Let's hang, burn, kill her/him!!!

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) -- Iran's state media say the Supreme Court has upheld a death sentence against a web developer convicted of spreading corruption.

The semiofficial Fars news agency says blogger Saeed Malekpour was found guilty of promoting pornographic sites. It says the Supreme Court approved the death sentence handed down by a Revolutionary Court that deals with security crimes.

Malekpour was reported imprisoned in October, 2008 and confessed on Iranian TV that he developed and promoted pornographic websites. More here:

Oops, they found a witch ... he deserves to die, don't you think?

After all, he did something that others didn't approve of.  He did something that some people CLAIM hurts other people (although, in reality, it does not hurt anyone.)

Oh, yes, they'll drag every kind of Ayatollah-with-a-beard out of his closet to quote his religion the "science" about how pornography is harmful to others and you better not argue either ... lest you start taking on witchy qualities yourself ... capisce?

Remember ... the "science" is key in all disputes of this sort.  The "science" decides who is a witch and who is not.  The tyrants?  They are not responsible.  They are only following the "science."

The day before the Florida primaries - it looks dark indeed (for Newt)

Remember the South Carolina primary?  Remember how the media made the call for Romney ... and how ALL the polls showed Romney would win by a comfortable margin?  What?  You don't remember?  Well, that's why I'm here ... that's my super power ... the ability to fight amnesia.

Ok, time for a little walk down memory lane.

Typical headline from Jan 6th - a couple of weeks before the primary:

Typical headline from Jan 20th - the day before the primary:

Typical headline from Jan 21st - the day of the primary

Yes, and what actually happened?  What's this?  A Landslide?

Yes, a landslide.  And did the media come back and remind you how wrong they were?  Did they apologize for misleading you? No?  Gee, that's a bit underhanded isn't it?  Oh well, never mind that, just keep grazing ... baaaa - bleat.

But the media are idiot-libs ... and what does that mean? That means they have no capacity for embarrassment or humiliation, none.  Which means they'll go right along doing the exact same thing (trying to mislead you about polling information.)  And SOMETIMES their predictions will come true and they'll act like they're 100% in predictions ... counting on the very short memory of the grazing sheep.

So now ... what is the media doing in Florida?  Well, I have to say one thing ... with the media being libs and all I find it hard to believe they learned anything ... but THIS TIME they aren't saying "the race is tightening" or anything of the sort.  No, it's just "Romney in a walk ... better get on board and don't waste your vote."

Meanwhile, didn't Herman Cain just endorse Newt?  Didn't Fred Thompson just endorse Newt?  Didn't Sarah Palin tell everyone to vote for Newt to keep the vetting process moving forward?  Why, yes, I think they did.  Of course, the media realizes that nobody listens to these folks so might as well discount them altogether.  That way if Romney DOES win they can go off the deep end making endless fun of the Tea Party types/racists ... cuz "nyah nyah nyah."

Just think of the opportunity ... then they would be able to discuss, ad infititum, how "these people have no influence with their endorsements ... and people of intelligence pay no attention to them - etc etc."  I can see them rubbing their hands with glee now, can't you?  Oh yes, make no mistake, this is a BIG CHANCE for the media and they know it.

Not only that, but look -- Gingrich is in last place in swing states.  Whatever you do, DO NOT THROW YOUR VOTE AWAY ON NEWT!!

So, it's very clear that Newt doesn't stand a chance in Florida hell (or anywhere else) ... you got that through your heads this time ... you idiot sheep?  Now get to the polls and vote for Romney ... unless you want to be a loser.

The wife suggested I get myself one of those penis enlargers, so I did .... she's 21 and her name's Natasha.
~ ~ ~

Went to the pub with my girlfriend last night. Locals were shouting "pedophile!" and other names at me, just because my girlfriend is 21 and I'm 50. It completely spoiled our 10th anniversary.

My son was thrown out of school today for letting a girl in his class give him a hand-job. I said "Son, that's 3 schools this year! You'd better stop before you're banned from teaching altogether."

A man calls 911 and says "I think my wife is dead". The operator says, "How do you know?" He says "The sex is about the same, but the ironing is piling up!"

My girlfriend says she thinks that I might be a stalker. Well ... she's not exactly my girlfriend yet.

My wife has been missing a week now. The police said to prepare for the worst. So, I had to go down to Goodwill to get all of her clothes back.

War Horse Movie Review

It was a few days ago that a friend of mine mentioned the movie (I forget the context or whether he liked it etc) but he knew it was not my habit to watch movies so he suggested I Google it.  This was the first review I found.
To those who roll their eyes at the movie War Horse being nominated this week for a Best Picture Academy Award, let me say this: The movie is not, as some of those who haven't seen it suggest, just another sentimental story about a boy and his horse. It is not even primarily about a horse in the sense that the original British stage play is.

The cinematic version is much more. It is a story about the greed of the wealthy ...
And that was enough. I stopped reading right there.  Looks like the standard Hollywood leftist brainwashing to me ... "evil rich" and so forth.  Please, spare me the communist clap-trap.  No wonder they're considering it for an academy award.  What a coincidence, huh?

The rest here if you still give a flaming damn.

Is this true?

Piece of Excrement

Danny Hembree. Convicted, and given the death penalty for the murder of 17-year old Heather Catterton in Gastonia, NC. Heads his sorry ass to prison to serve out the rest of his despicable life behind bars. But, no... this turd has to write a "letter to the editor" to laugh at the system that convicted him, and relish in his prison life - which must have been better that his life before. Color TV, Air Conditioning, three meals a day. Two of his murders, and countless others, are in the court system while he enjoys prison.
North Carolina convicts murderers, puts them on death row, but cannot execute them. Because a physician's presence is mandatory before/during/after the execution, and the North Carolina Medical Board has
threatened action to any MD that participates in an execution, no Doctor has stepped forth to be the guy. Makes me want to go to Med School.
North Carolina has the Racial Justice Act. In a nutshell, it states, that if the victim is a white woman, she is in the least likely segment to be murdered because of her race, so the death penalty is off the table.

I am not a racist. I don't care where you came from. You kill somebody -- you should get killed back.

Another worthless piece of crap dispatched to his maker

Bold is mine:

A 65-year-old man was attacked by three boys in Berks County on Wednesday and shot two of them, killing a 16-year-old boy.

The man was riding his bicycle about 11 a.m. on the Thun Trail near the Bertolet Fishing Dock in West Reading when the boys knocked him off his bicycle in an apparent robbery attempt, police said.

Two of the boys were assaulting the man when he pulled a handgun and shot them, police said.

Oh man, I'd LOVE to be able to see the look on their faces when he pulled that pistol and started shooting. I'm guessing that one day, technology will advance to a point where we'll all be able to video everything we see without holding a camera at all times.  Until then we'll have to make do with our imagination.  Here is an artist rendering of what I imagine it might have looked like.

Yeah, too late, mfr.

A 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. The other boy was taken to an area hospital with a single gunshot wound and is expected to survive.

Police said they took the uninjured boy and the victim to the Cumru Township police station for questioning.

They consulted Berks County District Attorney John Adams, released the victim and sent the boy to the Youth Detention Center. The name of the boys and the man were not released. From here:

Tsk, such a shame.  Now the idiot can't keep robbing old men who are minding their own business. These stories are so heartwarming to me.

Newt ... NEWT!! GAAAAaaaaaaa

So I'm driving home from work yesterday and the news comes on the radio ... and this story assaults my ears/brain with a great vigor ... yes, a vigor so great that I'd call it a "Vigah."  Shook me to to "Co-uh."
Newt Gingrich, courting voters in Florida’s NASA-heavy “Space Coast,” pledged to build an American lunar colony within eight years if elected president.

“By the end of my second term we will have the first permanent base on the moon and it will be American,” he said. According to Gingrich, the base would be used for “science, tourism, and manufacturing” and create a “robust industry” that would grow “precisely on the model of the airlines in the 1930s.”

The speech was a direct challenge to Mitt Romney, who has accused Gingrich of favoring big government with his past proposals for lunar exploration and colonization.

“I’m not in favor of spending that kind of money to do that,” Romney said in an Iowa debate last month. More here:
Well, at first blush, I'm going to have to agree with Romney on this one.  I mean, here we are, in the greatest recession/depression in history and Gingrich talks about squandering more money.  And I thought, "what in the hell is that guy doing?"

So I start wondering, is it possible we can actually make money building a lunar base?)  If so, someone is going to have to explain it to me in terms better than "velcro, teflon, scratch-resistant glass."

I'm all for satellites and honing the technology for that because we need and use that stuff, but a lunar base?  Oh, hell no, not with my curp.  Luckily, his bluster doesn't really count because the house of representatives has the power of the purse and can decide not to spend the curp on stuff like this.

My point is that I had just gotten to the point where I was rooting for him and he pulls this kind of a stunt.  Sheesh.

UPDATE: This morning I learned that a bunch of conservative writers are attacking Newt.  That makes me like him more.

Unanticipated Result.

If you hyphenate your last name... by choice.
If you let your hair go gray, wear long skirts, loose sweaters, long and cheap necklaces, square black glasses and dangling earrings.
If you drive a Prius, Subaru, or Volvo in the passing lane and believe that it's your duty to society to enforce the speed limit.
If you participate in surveys.
If you believe you impress your friends at cocktail parties.
If you throw food at people with whom you disagree.
If you've ever said "mic check" in a non-ironic way.
If you think Newt Gingrich's name is the basis for any political discussion.
If you use "real", "true", "truly" as if they're meaningful qualifiers.
If you call Republicans sheep who do as their told but think of "1984" as an instruction manual instead of a warning.
If your defense of Obama includes GW Bush, Sarah Palin or any other Republicans who are neither in office, running for office or intending on running for office.
If you think labeling someone is a valid argument.
If you think it's your civic duty to tell other people what their civic duty is.
If you get offended when someone says "Merry Christmas", "Happy Hanukkah", "Ramadan Mubarak".
If you've ever said "Happy Kwanza" in a non-ironic way.
If you believe studies.
If you're convinced that global warming is man-made.
If you throw stones at the "1%" from your $15mm lakefront glass house.
If you think NBC, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC are credible and unbiased news sources.
If you voted for Obama in 2008 and will vote for him again in 2012.
If anyone who disagrees with you is a "racist".

Then you probably will be taken completely by surprise by the result of this advanced maneuver. And you will likely disagree with me when I say this is exactly where our country is headed for as long as it's the blind being led by the stupid.

Granny nabs shitstain but ... what's wrong/missing in this story?

Karen Granville with the .38 revolver she used to hold a suspect until police arrived at her Daytona Beach home Tuesday. (N-J | David Massey)

DAYTONA BEACH -- A 22-year-old car theft suspect tried to elude police Tuesday morning, but was stopped in his tracks when he was confronted by a gun-toting 64-year-old woman.

"I was not going to let him go," said Karen Granville, who lives on Redwood Street. "I just held my gun in my right hand until the police arrested him."

Granville helped authorities nab Roderick Willis after he led them on a short chase. He was suspected of driving a stolen vehicle, authorities said.

Daytona Beach police were looking for a stolen vehicle about 3 a.m. Tuesday when a Volusia County sheriff's deputy spotted an orange Dodge Charger traveling west on Sixth Street. The deputy tried to stop the vehicle, but a chase quickly ensued, according to a report from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

A sheriff's helicopter tracked the suspect to Redwood Street, where deputies say Willis ditched the vehicle in the driveway in front of Granville's home.

Granville said she was up late because her cat had rousted her. She was watching the Bravo channel when she heard a sheriff's helicopter hovering above her house.

Moments later, she said she saw Willis run into her backyard and try to scale her fence. Granville grabbed her .38 Special revolver and followed him.

"My adrenaline was just flowing at 100 mph," she said. "I just said, 'Stop right there (expletive), or you're going to be dead where you stand." More here:

Right.  Since when are you allowed to stop a fleeing scumball from escaping justice?  I'll bet this whole story was made up.  If it were real, some "Democratic/hippie-dumbass" would be trying to sue the granny for applying stress to a shitstain.

Why do criminals flee when they know their chances of being caught are high?  Because the penalty for fleeing is not high enough to stop them, that's why.

I'm guessing this is probably the poor thing's first brush with the law.

Let's play "spot the idiot-lib" in this story

A Rockville Centre attorney is under arrest after allegedly holding a suspected teenage prankster at gunpoint until officers arrived at her home Sunday night, Nassau County police said.

Bernadette Greenwald, 47, apparently lost her cool after someone repeatedly rang her doorbell and ran from the home around 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

The “ding, dong, ditch” prank was apparently carried out three times and after the last incident, police said Greenwald, a former Bronx Assistant District Attorney, grabbed her .9 mm pistol and fired one round into the air in front of her house.

Police said Greenwald later saw a 17-year-old boy walking in front of her N. Forest Avenue home. She allegedly approached the teen and pointed the gun at him.  Greenwald’s husband, a retired Air Force pilot apparently returned home to discover the youth inside his home.

“[Greenwald's husband] arrived during the incident. He did see his wife with a gun. It’s a licensed gun, it is registered to her. In the house with the wife holding the gun, He pulled the kid outside the house, and waited for the police,” attorney Mitchell Barnett said.

According to court papers, a 17-year-old teen testified “I had 5 or 6 beers” and then walked towards the Greenwald’s home.  “A woman appeared at the front door with a gun,” papers said. “I was scared…I put my hands up in the air.”

The teen’s shaken mother told CBS 2′s Jennifer McLogan: “I’m very emotional right now.  My son did not do anything wrong.”

Greenwald has been charged with menacing, reckless endangerment and prohibited use of a dangerous weapon. The married mother of two declined to comment on her arrest when reached by 1010 WINS.

Barnett, said his client was home alone with her two children Sunday night and felt threatened. He also contended that the teenager had been found loitering on the Greenwald property in the past. From here:

Ok, I'll come back an a day to two and "reveal" the identy of the idiot lib and the essential characteristics that served to "out" the lib.  Meanwhile, go ahead and give it your best shot.

I have some thoughts on what I would have considered:
  • Get the gun, stay in the house, call the cops.
  • Tomorrow, setup a "clothesline" that can be tripped from inside the house.  And by "tripped" I mean you raise the rope from the ground to neck high.
  • Fill a super-soaker with paint, grab my cell phone (and pistol - just in case it's not playtime,) and hide in the bushes or around a corner.  After spraying the jackass with paint, call the cops and go  inside to put the gun away.

Fried food heart risk 'a myth'

The latest study, published in the British Medical Journal, found no association between the frequency of fried food consumption in Spain - where olive and sunflower oils are mostly used - and the incidence of serious heart disease.

Commenting on the findings in the BMJ, Professor Michael Leitzmann of the University of Regensburg in Germany said two other studies - one from Costa Rica and another by an international team - had also failed to find strong evidence of a link. More here:

Ha ha ha ha --- wait -- BLEAT BLEAT!!!  Yes, I love it when the media presents the results of a "study" as fact/proof and then turn around and report the opposite when it's "proven" wrong ... and then report "wait, it's true after all."

And they do it over an over and over again and even the dumbest of sheep are starting to disregard the cries of "WOLF!"  Someone should write a parable about it.

Sikhs are idiots too?

Jay Leno thought he was poking gentle fun at the lifestyles of rich and famous Republican presidential candidates — Mitt Romney in particular. But last Thursday when Leno’s slide show came to a location cited as Mitt Romney’s summer home — in reality an image of the Sikh holy shrine Golden Temple in Amritsar, India — it sparked a diplomatic incident. And now, a lawsuit charging Leno and NBC with libel.

Dr. Randeep Dhillon of Bakersfield filed the suit today in Los Angeles Superior Court. On behalf of himself and Bol Punjabi All Regions Community Organization, the suit charges that the broadcast was libelous on its face and exposed Sikhs and their religion to hatred, contempt and ridicule because it portrayed the holiest place in the Sikh religion as a vacation resort owned by a non-Sikh.

The suit charges that Leno’s use of the photo of the temple was intentional, deliberately false and “hurt the sentiments of all Sikh people in addition to those of the plaintiff.” The suit seeks general, special and punitive damages as well as court costs. It appears that video of the segment in question has been removed from NBC’s website.

Separately, Sikh leader Dalbeg Singh said today community leaders would seek an apology from Leno. India’s foreign ministry said a formal complaint had been lodged with the State Department in Washington. From here:

Ok, I have a few comments.
1 - Where do I start with the hating?  His suit says the joke exposes Sihks to hatred, contempt, and ridicule so, should I hate/ridicule this guy in particular or should I just get it over with and conclude that all Sikhs are as stupid as he? Seems to me the filing of this idiotic lawsuit is what exposes Sihks to ridicule and contempt, not Jay's joke.  (Those Sihks better not let the Pope know about all that gold.)

2 - Is this lawsuit free for me Leno and NBC to defend?  Answer: No.  This lawsuit (and suits like it) cost me money.  We really need tort reform in this country when some moron like Dr Ramdeep Dhilldo here can cost me money with idiocy like this.

3 - Good one, Jay.  Of course, we conservatives are capable of appreciating a good joke at our expense ... you know, just like the "Democratics."

Those damn greedy Republicans

Bold is mine:

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle gave $10,772 of the $1.2 million they earned from 2000 through 2004 to charities, or less than 1 percent, according to tax returns for those years released today by his campaign.

The Bidens gave an average of $369 to charity a year for the decade before he moved to the Naval Observatory - about 0.3 percent of their income.

Back in 1997, then veep Al Gore and his then wife Tipper gave $353.

Romney charitable contributions
Tax year    Taxable income          Charitable donations Donations as % of income
2010           $21.7 million                $2.98 million                13.73%
2011 (est)   $20.9 million                $4.00 million                19.14%

From here: and here:

Yes, but hey, the "Democratics" are very generous indeed ... as long as it isn't THEIR OWN MONEY they're giving away.  When it's YOUR MONEY, no cost is too great that we can't afford their every whim ... no amount should be spared.

As an aside, I love how the media never fails to remind the sheep that "Democrats" aren't really "Democrats," no, no ... they're "Democratic"  while Republicans are just Republicans.

Pelosi confirms Newt will win presidency

John King, CNN: "You make your case there passionately for President Obama. But also understand that this is a tough reelection climate for any president, Democrat or Republican in this economy. Because of your history with Speaker Gingrich, what goes through your mind when you think of the possibility, which is more real today than it was a week or a month ago, that he would be the Republican nominee and that you could come back here next January or next February with a President Gingrich?"

Rep. Nancy Pelosi: "Let me just say this. That will never happen."

King: "Why?"

Pelosi: "He's not going to be President of the United States. That's not going to happen. Let me just make my prediction and stand by it, it isn't going to happen."

King: "Why are you so sure?"

Pelosi: "There is something I know. The Republicans, if they choose to nominate him that's their prerogative. I don't even think that's going to happen."  From Real Clear Politics:

Oh oh, she "knows something." And if there's one thing a lib loves it's the "I know something you don't" situation.

Anyway, "she knows something" ... how about that? And all along I thought she didn't know a gd thing. And what would lead me to believe this? Because, she's always wrong ... always.  And what is stopping her from telling her little secret, huh?  "Strategery?"  Don't make me laugh.

"You make your case for the president ..." Huh? Yes, here we are, in the worst economy in my lifetime, with the government stealing more and more of our money and liberty every day ... and the President gives a speech saying how great everything is and she goes right along with the propaganda.  She's a gd idiot and she's lucky to be representing San Francisco because those morons bleat with the best of them.

And where is the media? They should be sounding all kinds of alarms but are they? No. What are they doing? They're "helping" by playing lullabies to the sheep.

Never the less, expect extremely viscous attacks on Newt to begin now. I expect they'll be along the same lines as when Regan ran "he's not electable, hot head with finger on the nuclear button, -- etc etc" -- and the media will ensure you hear them all so don't worry about missing any.

It's funny isn't it? The media wanted Romney, the GOP establishment wanted Romney, hell, even Pelosi wanted Romney ... and now it looks like they may not get Romney and they're all about to pitch a bitchy-fit ... you hide and watch.

Here's a great example of Pelosi and her grip on the facts.  Remember the 2010 elections and how the "Democratics" got blown the hell out of power?  Yes, but do you remember this?  I guess this was very well hidden on the web, otherwise the news media would have found it and played it over and over and over -- you know -- just like they do when a Republican is "wrong" about something.

"There's almost a level of hysteria about the prospect of somebody who really wants to change Washington," said Mr. Gingrich to host John McCaslin.

"I have a simple challenge for Speaker Pelosi...you know, put up or shut up. I mean, I have no idea what she's talking about. I don't think she has any idea what she's talking about, but bring it on," he said.

"My life has been looked at by lots of people and I've been around a long time. And I just think that when you are a left-wing Democrat, the prospect of a Gingrich presidency is really sort of like a nightmare," Mr. Gingrich added. More here:

Think the recession is bad so far? Can you hear the ticking sound?

This guy is afraid the ceiling is going to cave in any minute.

(CNSNews.com) – So far, during the presidency of Barack Obama, the price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped 83 percent, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

During the same period, the price of ground beef has gone up 24 percent and price of bacon has gone up 22 percent.

When Obama entered the White House in January 2009, the city average price for one gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $1.79, according to the BLS.  More here:

What's this?  Inflation?  SOOoooo unfair because "who could have seen this coming?"  I mean, just because we print more money and expand the money supply that doesn't mean we'll have inflation, right?
Economists generally agree that high rates of inflation and hyperinflation are caused by an excessive growth of the money supply. (from Wikipedia)
I see ... so "economists" could have seen it coming but the rest of us were blindsided, right?  I think I'm an economist though because I recall hearing this about five minutes after I registered for Econ 101.  Perhaps they don't cover this in "Community Agitation 101."

Hey, maybe Obama and the Democratics should block more drilling and pipelines. That will probably help employment and reduce the price of gas.

Found it over at Bits and Pieces:

No, no ... you're not a slave, we're only taking your money

This is a very hard-hitting cartoon, by Michael Ramirez. Some will think it over the top, or extreme. Is being born an American in the 21st century really equivalent to being a slave? One recoils from the thought. Yet a child born today is the inheritor of a national debt that stands at $15 trillion, and counting. If Barack Obama gets his way, the debt will explode over the next decade. Our children and grandchildren will spend years of their lives, assuming that they are taxpayers, working off the principal and interest of the debts we have run up. Perhaps indentured servitude is a more accurate characterization than slavery. Still, the image is a powerful one:

Found this over at the PowerLineBlog.  Since it agrees with my line of thought on the issue, I found it very profound.

State of the Union Address - Oh Joy!

Billionaire Warren Buffett's longtime secretary will be joining first lady Michelle Obama in her box at tonight's State of the Union, White House communications director Dan Pfeiffer announced on Twitter.

Debbie Bosanek, who has worked for Buffett for nearly two decades, has become a symbol in the White House's fight over the tax code and economic fairness. Obama is expected to renew his push for the so-called "Buffett rule" that would bring investment taxation levels into line with income taxation levels — and ensure that upper income earners pay rates as high as middle-class Americans.

"Warren Buffett's secretary shouldn't pay a higher tax rate than Warren Buffett," President Obama said in September, when he unveiled his American Jobs Act proposal. More here:

Well, if you have a brain you have to ask yourself "Why is Warren Buffet's tax rate lower than his secretary's?"  Answer: "it isn't."  If his secretary wanted to risk/invest her money in the stock market then she would pay the same tax rate on any profit she might make.

But Obama doesn't say that, does he.  You now why?  Because he's saving you the "thinking."  The truth will only confuse you because you aren't sophisticated/educated enough to truly understand .... so he simplifies it for you.  Aren't you thankful?  Really, who needs all that brain damage trying to get all the relevant facts.

See?  These self-proclaimed geniuses never tire of tinkering with the economy.  First, the great geniuses decide "Hey, if we lower tax rates on investment, we'll get more investment."  Oh my but they are so proud of their great insight because "this is so obscure -- only the great geniuses can figure it out."

Then, when they get more investment and jobs are being created etc everything is fine and they spend and spend like there's no tomorrow. They expand their power base the government as fast as they can. They put nothing aside for a rainy day.

And lo ... can you guess what happens then?  Right, they get themselves in the inevitable jam ... and what's the first thing they ("Democratics") want to do?  Answer: Tax the evil rich.  The EXACT OPPOSITE of their previous declarations.  Yes, and they'll continue their hopeless flail-a-thon endlessly thru time unless they are stopped by the constitution electorate.

That's right, and if you suffer because of it, well, that's just tough cookies.  After all, they're only trying to do the "greater good," and don't you appreciate their great intentions?  Hey, don't we all have to accept continuous some suffering to get to Utopia?

And what does all this have in common?  Total incompetents manipulating the economy when they have no right to do so.  They have no business picking winners and losers by manipulating the tax code like that.  This is why complete and total tax reform is necessary. The Fair Tax leaps to mind.  It would remove the idiot's ability to reward their buddies and punish their enemies ... and with that goes most of their power.  Most lobbyists would be out of a job.

But they won't change the tax code, will they.  No. They'll drag us with them into their idiocy ... and the only legal recourse we have is the ballot box.

Tonight, Obama will tell us how everything is improving now ... and how he just needs to get the evil  rich to pay their "fair share."

Remember this when you go to vote.  I'm not saying one party is better than the other, I'm saying choose the candidate who wants to leave you the hell alone ... so you don't wind up in the "we're all in the same boat" situation with a bunch of morons.

Another scumball permanently separated from polite society

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) - An armed robber was killed by a customer at an Upstate Waffle House early Saturday, according to Spartanburg County deputies.

The shooting happened at the Waffle House on Chesnee Highway just after 1:00 a.m. According to an incident report, two armed men entered the restaurant and tried to rob it.

A customer in the Waffle House, who is a concealed weapon permit holder, was also armed with a handgun and attempted to hold the suspects at gunpoint until law enforcement could arrive, deputies said.

Deputies said one of the robbery suspects pointed his gun at the customer, and the customer then shot the man, who died on the scene. More here:

Oopsie daisy.   I sure hope the victim (aka the customer) doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about "whether he did the right thing" etc.

Seriously, if it were me and I saw a couple of knuckleheads with masks and a gun (in the middle of the night at a Waffle House) I think I'd shoot LONG before anyone pointed a gun at me, capisce?  Because as soon as I see that I figure they are there to steal money and kill witnesses ... and if I have a choice, it's going to be the criminal who gets killed.

Amazing yes -- but remember, practice first

Klown prediction - Presidential Election - GO Newt!!!

Yes folks -- here it is -- the call you've all been waiting for.

I found an online betting spot that was giving 2-1 odds against the Newtster (winning the Republican nomination) so I had to take a little of that action ($20 curp.)  I'm not convinced he's got a "great" chance but I think he has a chance.  I won't say more than this ... I think Newt would be better than Romney.

They were also offering odds on any Republican of +$135.  Upon researching that I found it meant that you could bet $25 but you would win $33.75 (or bet $100 and win $135.)

By the way, they were giving 5/1 against Newt winning the Presidency.  5/1?

Yes, my friends, you think the election of 2010 was a landslide? I predict Obama is going to take a whoopin' at the polls in November ... Obama and all the "Democratic" asshats which have been stealing my money and freedom for as long as I can remember under the guise of "helpin' the workin' man."

Ever notice they can't help you without stealing "just a little" of your money and freedom.  And if they can't quite help you with that they just need a little bit more.  But it's never enough, is it?  Answer? No.  And I am convinced that, at long last, the American people are waking up to the fact the "Democratics" are NOT their friends.

Ok, here is my prediction.  I predict that Obama is going to lose in the worst landslide in history for an incumbent.  Herbert Hoover lost by 18% and Carter lost by 11% and I think those are the two worst.  That means I'm predicting Obama to lose by 19% -- the WORST INCUMBENT DEFEAT IN HISTORY.

Actually, we all know better, don't we.  We know it will be much closer than 19% ... but look at it this way, this will give you an easy way to say "WRONG, KLOWN."  And I like to give you the opportunity every so often ... I'm generous that way.

I had the rest of the historical election results (since 1900) listed here but I thought about it and figured you weren't that interested so I deleted the whole thing.  You can click here if you're interested in that kind of thing.

Soooo, what are YOUR predictions?  Go ahead and make them. The Klown's short memory and the natural humility of the reader combine to make an inviting atmosphere for making predictions with no repercussions.

(Note: Thanks to "The Dealer" for bringing an error on this post to my attention.  I had originally said the odds for any Republican to win the Presidency was "-135" when it was actually supposed to be "+135."  I have corrected it in the post above.)

Did you know that stamps went up today? Yes, to 45 cents.

I'm guessing you didn't even know stamps went up today ... because, after all, who cares, right?  The media knows you don't care so they aren't about to waste your time bringing this piddly item to your attention.

Why is it that all I hear about the post office is how it's going broke and how it needs to cut services and Saturday delivery and on and on and on? I wondered how they are doing with their prices? Are they keeping up with inflation? So I went and did some research for you - no need to thank me.

But Klown, they have to deal with terrorism!!!

Terrorism? Do we stall have a danger of that? I thought the whole world would love us again IF ONLY WE ELECTED THE GREAT OBAMA? I thought "this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth."

Ha ha ha, hoo boy.

So, in 1952 a stamp was 3 cents.  Today it's 45 cents.  Draw your own conclusions.

I'm not sure about that "Annual rate of inflation change" thing. Doesn't look right to me somehow.

Bad luck gets guy kilted by nature - no way to have seen it coming

A reveler releases a bull with flaming horns during a festival in honor of Saint Anthony, the patron saint of animals, in the streets of Gilet, a town near Valencia, Spain, in the early hours of Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012. MADRID—A flaming-horned bull trampled and fatally gored a man early Saturday during a festival in eastern Spain, an official said.

Large balls of flaming wax are traditionally affixed to the beasts' heads before they are let loose to rampage through squares and narrow streets in such festivals.

The mayor of Navajas, population 730, said emergency services in his town were unable to save the life of the 45-year-old man whose name was withheld. Jose Vicente Torres said the accident happened when the man, who had traveled from Alboraia, about 70 kilometers (45 miles) to the south, tripped just as the bull was released. More here:

Ack, he tripped JUST BEFORE they released the bull. SUCH a tragedy.  Who could have foreseen this?  I guess we can chalk it up to bad luck ... one in a million, right?

Newt wins South Carolina, the media is flummoxed

Excerpts below from an article in the lefty media.  Yes, it's hard to detect but if you read the following closely you may uncover some complete idiocy lefty bias.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich finished an astonishing comeback Saturday night to defeat front-runner Mitt Romney in South Carolina, plunging the Republican Party into a wrenching and potentially lengthy period of soul-searching: Can either of these jokers beat President Obama?
Oh yes, it was, what did he call it?  Astonishing?  Yes, astonishing to idiot jourrrrnalists anyone dripping spittle down their chin.  That's one of the hallmarks of being an idiot-lib, you're in a perpetual state of "astonishment." During the whole lead-up to the South Carolina Primary, all we heard was "Romney is leading 27-18%" ... "Romney widens lead in South Carolina" etc etc etc.  And yet Newt wins by double digits ... hard to fathom, eh?

Right, meanwhile it was hard for any in our group to find a Romney supporter.  That's right, during the last couple of months, it was clear to us that Gingrich was clearly the favorite.  To the media?  Not so much.  You see, THAT's why they label his win as "astonishing."  Because the media is "astonished" you didn't listen to them after they were so clear in their orders to you -- bunch of idiots down there in SC.

You know what else?  He (jourrrrnalist) referred to both the "leading candidates" as jokers.  That's right ... you know why?  Because Republican voters are stupid, that's why.  They don't know a "joker" from their elbow ... tee hee.
Humiliated and humbled, Romney remains the front-runner for the GOP nomination and, by all conventional measures, is best equipped to push Obama from office.

Gingrich is an unabashed egoist ("I think grandiose thoughts") who likes to compare himself to historic figures including Abraham Lincoln, ... "
Yes, but not Obama.  Obama's NOT an unabashed egoist ... seriously, he's totally abashed ... and he NEVER compares himself to Lincoln etc.  NEVER?  ... HARDLY EVER?  Makes me wonder if he's ever sick at sea.
