Politically correct morons teaching our kids

An English teacher at Denton High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area allegedly refused to grade two student reports because they discussed guns.

MyFoxDFW.com reports that the teacher, Dewey Christian, told his students to write a report on anything they wanted.

Marshall Williams, one of Christian's students, told the station he chose to write about a Fort Worth gun show he had attended.

He said Christian told him he would get a zero on the assignment because of the topic.

Another student, Alex Wright, said Christian rejected his report because it mentioned hunting.

The old "Spinning the class ring" trick

One day long ago, I learned that I could spin my class ring with the stone down and after spinning a second it would reverse itself and finish spinning with the stone up in the air. I used to tell all kinds of lies about it.

Homeowner uses gun to thwart intruders

A Texas homeowner says he was able to hold three suspected burglars at gunpoint until police arrived and arrested them.

KHOU.com reports that Houston resident Randy Magdeleno arrived home Wednesday morning to find three juvenile suspects inside his residence.

“So I grabbed my rifle and I came around through here in my kitchen,” he told the station. “It was scary. I didn’t know what I was walking into and hearing people running around inside my house at the same time.

Magdeleno said he caught two of the suspects downstairs and another upstairs and ordered all three to lie on the floor, the station reported. He said he didn't know if they were armed.

Police eventually arrived and took the three juveniles into custody, according to the report. From here:

Well, we all know this won't be covered on the news.  But I do have a question ... he said he grabbed his rifle ... now, was it an assault rifle?  I wonder.  I'd have to guess it was an assault rifle ... you know why?  Because of the seeming complete lack of curiosity on the part of the jourrrrnalist.  

 

Yes, jourrrrnalists know there are some things the public/sheep just don't need to know. 

 

That's right, you see, the sheep aren't very smart and they might start trying to put two and two together and get five ... and we just can't take a chance on that, now can we.

There's something else he left out of the story wasn't curious about ... can you tell what it is?  Yes, we wouldn't want the sheep to get all riled up over trivial/insignificant facts, now would we.

This just goes to show you how helpful and informative the media is in general.  They have our best interests at heart.

The trouble with republican idiots

House majority leader Eric Cantor is increasingly frustrated with a group of House Republicans who are working against the leadership, and he’s not afraid of voicing his dismay.

In a closed-door conference meeting on Wednesday, Cantor told one GOP member that if they blocked the Senate-passed Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) from coming to the floor, they’d cause “civil war” in the ranks. More here:

Our country is mired in the worst debt of our entire history and congress is spending $7,000,000 PER MINUTE (and of that you're borrowing $3,000,000 ... PER MINUTE.)  

Ridiculously high unemployment now stretching into a decade?  And don't give me your "government approved" 8% either ... everybody knows it's closer to 20%.

No budget for the last five years?

Gas prices going through the roof and contributing to a crashing economy?  And you asshats are blocking drilling?

And you're worried about what ... the "Violence Against Women Act?"

Let me tell you something, you braying jackass ... you get your ass back in there, stop playing politics and get down to business.  No wonder there's a "civil war" going on in that party ... the current leadership (old guard) needs to go.

Now, back to the VAWA ... isn't it already against the law to commit violence against women?  So now what ... you need MORE laws?  WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?

And another thing, ever notice these asshats are always with the "They're going to cause ______" (fill in the blank:)

• Crushing debt
• High unemployment
• Civil war in the ranks of the GOP

ON and ON and ON ... and nobody notices that IT'S ALREADY HAPPENED. They're not "going to cause X," they already caused it ... IT'S OVER WITH.

Democrats beg: "STOP EXPOSING US"

During a House Financial Services Committee hearing Tuesday on the budget, two Democrats complained after House Financial Services Committee chairman Jeb Hensarling instructed that two monitors in the hearing room display a real-time running national debt clock.

California Rep. Maxine Waters and Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison both issued complaints about the displays, according to video of the hearing.

“Clearly it is a political prop designed to message ideologically,” Ellison said.

Waters asked that the debt clock not be on display whenever Democrats spoke, Hensarling said during the hearing. More here:

Mayor of Alabama town wants your guns - but just a little at a time

Guntersville (Ala.) Mayor Leigh Dollar is working with city officials to pass an ordinance that would give police the power to “disarm individuals” during a disaster, a chilling example of how the second amendment is being assaulted via the back door.

 The new rule would allow authorities to confiscate guns of “unruly” people during an extreme weather event such as the April 2011 tornadoes or any other emergency. More here:

Obama lets illegals out of jail -- to save money (and because he wants amnesty anyway)

The sequester is officially still three days away, but the Obama administration already is making the first cuts, with officials confirming that the Homeland Security Department already has released several hundred illegal immigrants from detention in order to save money. More here:

Did you know the "sequester" amounts to about 2% of what the government is going to spend anyway this year?  Yes, 2%.

Joshua Miner remembered his teenage girlfriend confiding “years back that she wanted to have sex with a dead guy,” states a police report documenting last month’s double murder on Hickory Street.

That's why Miner got the idea to ask girlfriend Alisa Massaro to have sex with him on the corpses of two men he's accused of helping to kill, police said. 

The reports obtained by Patch detail the differing versions of events described by the two young men and two young women — Miner, 24, Massaro, 18, Adam Landerman, 19, and Bethany McKee, 18 —accused of luring two men to Massaro’s Hickory Street home and strangling them. 

Police found the bodies of Terrance Rankins and Eric Glover, both 22, face down inside the house on Joliet’s near west side on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 10. Plastic bags were tied around the dead men’s heads, according to the reports. One of the men was bound, the other looked as if his hands had been tied at one time. More here:

In an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts aired this morning, First Lady Michelle Obama recalled the tragic death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton who was shot and killed in Chicago after performing during the President’s Inauguration celebration in Washington D.C.

“She was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” the First Lady explained. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

For the broadcast, ABC’s Good Morning America producers edited out the First Lady’s “automatic weapon” line.

John Adams on the relationship of property to liberty

 Debt?  What debt?  You mean we're in debt?  With no budget in the last five years?

So I was listening to the 02/21/13 Mark Levin podcast yesterday and Mark said he had been doing some research and ran across this, from John Adams.  By the way, he refers to a "Mr Needham" in the article.  He's talking about Marchamont Needham ... an idiot-lib of his day ... and wouldn't you know it ... a jourrrrnalist.

Yes.  It appears that idiot-libs have been around for all of humankind (and gravitate towards jourrrrnalism).  And no matter what you tell them, they still want to control you ... they INSIST you do as they say.  

That is why the founding fathers wrote the constitution ... so that we would no longer have to discuss anything with idiot liberals ... instead we point to the law and say "that says you can't vote my rights away and I don't intend to negotiate surrendering my rights with you, now begone, idiot-lib."  Ahhhh, heaven on earth, right?

Anyway, this is (in part) what John Adams wrote. (I divided it up into paragraphs.)

"Shame would prevent them" ... LOL @ libs being able to feel shame or embarrassment.

"Pretexts invented by degrees" ... oh, how right he was ... and where does it end?  Once it starts, does it ever end?  Think about it.

Debts would be abolished first; taxes laid heavy on the rich, and not at all on the others; and at last a downright equal division of every thing be demanded, and voted. What would be the consequence of this? 

The idle, the vicious, the intemperate, would rush into the utmost extravagance of debauchery, sell and spend all their share, and then demand a new division of those who purchased from them. 

The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. 

If "Thou shalt not covet," and "Thou shalt not steal," were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society, before it can be civilized or made free. From here:

I ran across this yesterday and figured I'd better post about it since many readers are sammy aficionados.  I am an owner.

While I'm at it, I also saw this "Bacon Bologna," but I haven't bought any yet.

Interesting tidbit:

When I decided to write a post about the jalapeno bologna, I needed a pic, so I went to the Oscar Mayer website.  But guess what, on their website they don't admit to making bologna.  Can't find a reference to bologna anywhere.  I wonder why that is.  Perhaps they overlooked it.

A skeptical person might suspect that Oscar Mayer is ashamed of bologna ... too low class for them ... can't admit wading around down here in the sewer with the unsophisticated poor people ... nooooo.

Also, while doing research, I ran across this site called "Cooking for the single man," in which there is a recipe called "The Bologna Stack."  LMAO - cracked me up, man.
