I always feel like ... somebody's WATCHIN' meeee!

A federal judge in New York ruled Friday that the massive collection of domestic telephone data brought to light by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden is lawful, rejecting a challenge to the program by the American Civil Liberties Union.

The decision conflicts with that of a U.S. District Court judge who ruled against the government early last week, finding that the NSA’s program was almost certainly unconstitutional. The divergent decisions make it more likely that the Supreme Court will make its own ruling. More here:

LOL  ... yeah ... the "Supreme Court."  The great guardians of freedom that just ruled the government could force you to buy something (health insurance.)  And this judge just ruled for the government and against YOU.  These government types are really sticking together, aren't they? Checks and balances my ass.

I guess they can just take whatever they damn well please, can't they.  Your money, your liberty ... they can spy on you anytime they want without a court order.  I'll bet this is EXACTLY what our founders had in mind for your freedom ... an unlimited federal government.  And the states can't say "boo."  The states are nothing now.  In fact, why do we even have states anymore?  So they can set different speed limits?  Oooooooo ... such power!

Why have senators?  If we're going to directly elect senators by popular vote then what purpose do they serve?  We already directly elect our representatives.  What?  We need two more of those boobs per state?

How does it feel being a full fledged slave now?  But there's still some good news ... the government still lets you keep SOME of your own money.  Less than half now ... but, hey, they probably won't take any more, right?

Liberal talk radio disappearing?

Thanks to radio consolidation and the secondary status of leftist talk in major markets across the country, the final death knell for liberal talkers could be tolling. Leftist talkers simply don’t have the same radio draw as conservatives; KTLK was ranked #41 in the market in November 2013, with WWRL registering almost no pulse at all. KNEW registered just an 0.4 in the San Francisco market in December 2013, placing it #31 in the market.
More here:

Many people think that liberal talk radio doesn't succeed because of its message.  I disagree.  I think it doesn't succeed because it's not really "needed."  People don't have to seek it out.

I think that liberals have no shortage of avenues to hear their own viewpoints.  All of the TV stations spew liberal viewpoints 24/7.  All the newspapers, all the opinion columns, on and on and on.  So, for what reason would a liberal waste his time duplicating all this with radio?
Answer: There is no reason for them to do so.

On the other hand, conservatives NEVER hear their viewpoint ... because the libs actively block it from most media.  Therefore, conservatives are driven to the radio to reinforce themselves and their beliefs.

If the media were fair, honest, and objective, Rush Limbaugh, et al, would be out of a job.

Wow, you won't believe the brutal punishment for stealing our tax money

An Iowa State University professor resigned after admitting he falsely claimed rabbit blood could be turned into a vaccine for the AIDS virus.

Dr. Dong-Pyou Han spiked a clinical test sample with healthy human blood to make it appear that the rabbit serum produced disease-fighting antibodies, officials said.

The bogus findings helped Han’s team obtain $19 million in research grants from the National Institutes of Health, said James Bradac, who oversees the institutes’ AIDS research.

Hey, but don't worry, this is probably just an isolated incident, right?  Sure, most "professors" seeking my tax money are just honest, hard-working folk who, for some reason, can't get a job which makes a profit for someone.  Of course not ... filthy profits?  Perish the thought.

Also, when they get your money, they never spread it around to their friends and family.  By the same token, when their friends and family get money out of your pocket, they NEVER offer it to a temporarily short of grant money down-on-his-luck "professor."  Noooooo, that NEVER happens.

Anyway, man-o-man ... a fraud of 19 MILLION CURP.  I bet that guy is really going to get punished, don't you?  Oh yes, taking our hard earned tax money and stealing for himself and his "department" (aka, friends.)  That's right, when they're done with this guy, NOBODY will want to try to perpetrate this kind of fraud.

Han agreed last month not to seek government contracts for three years, the register said. The rest here:

Wall Street advisor sees future

A top financial advisor, worried that Obamacare, the NSA spying scandal and spiraling national debt is increasing the chances for a fiscal and social disaster, is recommending that Americans prepare a “bug-out bag” that includes food, a gun and ammo to help them stay alive. More here:

This guy must be mental.  Everyone knows the government can print money out of thin air with zero consequences.

Also, if the economy is so bad, why is Wall Street setting records everyday? Huh?  Answer THAT one, Teabaggers! Sheesh.

Difference between sure things

Hogs at the trough -- and the "trough" is your wallet

A bipartisan Senate duo says they want to crack down on what they call the government’s “lavish” spending on oil paintings of congressmen, the costs of which can top $50,000 each.

Sens. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Tom Coburn, R-Okla., said in a Thursday press release they are introducing a bill that would only allow $20,000 of taxpayer funds to be spent on each portrait, and would only cover paintings of lawmakers in the line of succession to the presidency. More here:

LMAO.  And how do these people get to spend this kind of money on monumental/egotistical waste like this without the media howling about it every two seconds?

Oh well, this is probably the only huge money-waste like this, right?  At least the poor don't have to pay, right?  No, no, this doesn't affect the poor.

In my life I have never seen the hogs at the trough in such a frenzy.

Oh wait -- UPDATE: Walmart - big greedy company

The UPDATE is below this post:

Here's a story where a guy gets humiliated by a big, greedy company ... Walmart. It's all so sad.

Here's a pic of the poor, helpless, fellow.

An Arizona man and possibly Walmart’s biggest fan found out that taking the company’s ad-matching promises a bit too far can get you banned from every store for the rest of your life.

Joe Cantrell, of San Tan Valley, Ariz., said he was handcuffed, humiliated and banned from every Walmart in the world following a dispute about Christmas ornament ad-matching at the store that he visits at least twice every day, KNXV-TV reports.

Yes, it's ALL because that greedy Walmart was going to go broke if it didn't match this moron's advertisement for cheap "decoraish." After all, who cares about Walmart, right?

But then, later in the story, we get the REAL reason he got banned.

However, last week, Cantrell had local police called on him after complaining to store management that an employee had refused an ad-match for Christmas ornaments.

“When I left, he turned around and called the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office and said he felt intimidated and threatened. I was upset but never once did I ever say anything – no contact, nothing,’” Cantrell told KNXV.

When he returned to the store four days later, three deputies reportedly cuffed him, gave him a court summons, and a notice of restriction that bans him from every Walmart on earth, for life.

Yep, that sounds about right.  This employee is prolly calling the cops ten or twelve times a day because he feels threatened.  And then Walmart bans them for life ... oh yes, I can see this happening ALL THE TIME, can't you?

OR ... OR ... this is the first time the employee has EVER called the cops on someone for intimidation.  What do YOU think is more likely? Looks like none of the honest and forthright jourrrrnalists cared enough to find out.

Gee, I wonder why the oh-so-honest jourrrrnalist presented the story as if the "ad-matching" got him banned.  Yes, quite the mystery.

Anyway, more here from the fair and objective CBS news:

UPDATE: on 12/13/13
According to the Sheriff's Office, Cantrell's arrest came three days later, when he went back to the Walmart.

"Cantrell was detained by deputies and then cited and released for one count of Disorderly Conduct and one count of Threatening and Intimidating," according to the press release. "Earlier this week, the Pinal County Courts issued an injunction against harassment ordering Cantrell to have no further contact with one of the employees involved in this incident; otherwise he shall face arrest and further prosecution." More here:

The best part is where the "jourrrrnalist" aka "news reporter" gave you all the information he wanted you to have in the original "Man banned for aggressive coupon matching."

Wasn't that nice of him ... to help you do your thinking?  Yes, you appreciate it, don't you?

R.I.P., van Winkle

A Missouri man who died Sunday after a struggle in the parking lot of Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium had gone to the game between the Chiefs and Broncos in a similar vehicle parked nearby, police said Tuesday.
Police released the additional details in the death of Kyle A. Van Winkle, 30, of Smithville. Police have said it could take four to six weeks before authorities can determine how Van Winkle died after the altercation outside Arrowhead Stadium during Sunday's game. Police have said Van Winkle's body did not show obvious signs of trauma.
A man who owned a Jeep returned to the vehicle during the game and found Van Winkle inside, leading to a fight between the owner and Van Winkle, police said. Officers responding to a disturbance call found Van Winkle on the ground unconscious. He died later at a hospital. Three people were taken into custody Sunday evening, but all were released Monday with no charges filed.
Police have said investigators are awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports before deciding whether Van Winkle's death was the result of a crime.
Police spokesman Officer Darin Snapp confirmed in an email Tuesday that the Jeep that Van Winkle was found in was similar to vehicle he had arrived in, and that the Jeep that Van Winkle arrived in was parked nearby. The Jeep that Van Winkle was found in also showed no signs of a break-in and was unlocked when Van Winkle climbed in, according to Snapp.

Immigration law? Nah, we just make it up as we go.

A federal immigration judge ruled Tuesday that President Obama’s uncle can remain in the United States, sparing him deportation to his native Kenya in a case that riveted attention on the elderly man who had lived under the radar in this country for 50 years. For most of that time, he was here illegally.

Boston immigration Judge Leonard I. Shapiro said Onyango “Omar” Obama can now get a green card, and in five years, apply for US citizenship, unless the Department of Homeland Security appeals the case within 30 days.

“Congratulations,” Shapiro said after he announced his decision. “Welcome to America.”

Hey judge, can't say as I blame you.

I'm guessing you don't want a thorough colonoscopy performed by the IRS.

Would the Democratics use the IRS to silence the people?

Bill Elliot voted for Obama.

He was a cancer patient who lost his insurance due to ObamaCare and couldn’t pay the expensive new premiums. More (with video) here:

Then he was interviewed by Fox News about the problem.

Suddenly, he's being audited by the IRS. How about that?

The IRS ... to me, they're like the "health department" (or any other government agency.)  If they want to find something wrong, they will. They have thousands and thousands of rules and regulations for you to follow ... and they're changing all the time.  They know the rules and you don't ... and if they want to, they can make up rules on the spot.  Are YOU going to argue with them?

Hey, but don't worry, the IRS hasn't come after anyone else who disagrees with the government ... no, it's just Bill.  The rest of us have nothing to worry about.

The news media, they'd NEVER be one-sided about an issue

So Wombat linked me to an article in the NYT about the recent "rules change" regarding filibusters in the senate.  I noticed the following sentence:

"The decision to press the button on the so-called nuclear option was no doubt cathartic for a Democratic majority driven to distraction by Republican obstructionism."

LOL ... The filibuster is "Republican obstructionism." And what did this honorable and forthright jourrrnalist have to say when the Democratics were holding up Bush's nominees?

Answer: Not a damn thing and I'll tell you why.  You see, it wasn't "obstructionist" then.  Got that?  Sheep?

Of course, if the Republicans ever take back control of the Senate, the Democratics will start with the squealing and the media will be amplifying the squeals.  And who loses in all this?  I ask you, who loses when "the majority rules?"

And what did Obama and the Democratics have to say about this when the Republicans threatened to do it years ago?  I guess the media doesn't know about this ... otherwise they'd be screaming hypocrisy from the rooftops, no? H/T Wombat for the video embed code.

What's this? The government lied about unemployment?

In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.

The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated.

And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy.

And a knowledgeable source says the deception went beyond that one employee — that it escalated at the time President Obama was seeking reelection in 2012 and continues today.  More here:

"Continues today."  And what are YOU gonna do about it, sheep?  Huh?  The same thing as you're doing about being spied on by the government?  Yeah, that's what I thought.

The government ... covering  up the real unemployment numbers ... who would have guessed?  What next?  We find they're lying about the inflation numbers?  Or our health care costs? Oh, not to worry, they're only doing it for our own good.

Health care costs ... and every five minutes on TV I see some law firm suing some medical company and urging others to pile on.  I'll bet that doesn't affect health care costs in the slightest.  Is the government trying to stop that fraud?  Answer: No.

But wait ... do you mean to tell me the economy sucks?  It sucks worse than it ever has?  I don't get it ... the government has been telling me "the recession's over" for what feels like ten years ... even though I'm much worse off  ... and despite record tax revenue, the country is deeper in debt than ever before.  Nossir, I just don't get it.  Very mysterious.  Unless ... THE EVIL RICH still aren't paying their fair share ... that must be it.

Anyone want to give odds on whether the liars/cheaters will lose their government jobs?

There's another aspect to this news that's even more puzzling.  No matter how many facts like this come out, it never phases the thinking of the Democratics tyrants ... no ... they remain fixed.  You must go along with them, you must believe them ... you must surrender your money and liberty to them "for the greater good."

Don't you see?  The greater good is more important than your individual liberty.  Give them your freedom ... they're smarter than you ... they're more benevolent than you ... overcome your racist greed, jackass ... you're in the way.

Raging communist struck by conscience?

Thursday, MSNBC's Alec Baldwin once again exposed his anti-gay hate. This time he called a photographer a "c**ksucking f*g." Earlier this year, Baldwin used his Twitter account to hurl homophobic slurs and threats at a reporter. The media gave Baldwin a pass then, and appears ready to do the same again today. Andrew Sullivan is one of the few on the left willing to call both Baldwin and the media out for their hypocrisy: More here:

Ha ha, what a dumbass. After 40 years of being a drummer in the liberal fife corp, this guy (Andrew Sullivan) suddenly gets a conscience? Hasn't Baldwin done this over and over again?  Suddenly it's "enough."  I guess it's once for conservatives and a hundred times for libs, right, Andrew Sullivan?

FYI - Andrew Sullivan used to write for the New York Times (and other ultra liberal rags) so he's used to the sheep following and bleating along.  It's probably going to upset him no end when he finds that liberals NEVER know where to draw the line ... whether they're protecting the people who are stealing your freedom and money or misleading the public with their "news," the liberal knows no boundaries.

Hey, didn't MSNBC just give this Baldwin asswipe his own talk show?  Interesting, no?

The founding fathers - made me go "Ha" outloud

Scumballs get busted

Three people in Virginia, including a DMV employee, pleaded guilty this week to conspiring to get state IDs or driver's licenses for at least 300 illegal immigrants.

Noemi Barboza pleaded guilty on Thursday to "a bribery conspiracy charge, admitting that she often drove illegal immigrants to the Fairfax DMV location where an employee would approve their applications for driver’s licenses, learner’s permits, and identification cards knowing they could not prove legal presence in the United States." Four people engaged in the scheme from 2007 to 2011. The fourth person has not yet been charged.

The illegal immigrants paid Barboza's husband or another person, who then reportedly "split the money with" Maria Cavallaro, a 45-year-old DMV employee. Cavallaro and Barboza’s husband, 42-year-old Jose Calderon, "pleaded guilty to their roles Wednesday, admitting they helped obtain documents for as many as 300 people and netted tens of thousands of dollars for themselves." More here:

Can you IMAGINE THAT?  Enriching themselves by assisting criminal illegal aliens.  Tsk tsk, *shakes head.*  They must have thought they were congressmen.

And while I'm at it, why is the word "may" on this sign?

Remember this idiot? "The Meathead"

ROB REINER: "Obama right now, where Obama is is right around where Reagan was, right around where Nixon was. There, he’s no more left than those, those, those Republicans." Video here:

Yes.   Obama ... Reagan ... same difference.

Reagan: "Government is not the solution to our problem; government IS the problem."

So it makes sense that Reagan would try to solve our probems with government intervention ... just like Obama does.  See how similar they are?

Yes, it's all clear now.  Who knew that Rob Reiner was such a genius?  He is able to see the truth.

And now the FBI goes lib

So I was reading about this guy who shot up the LAX airport.  During my reading I came across the legal statement of some jackass FBI agent.

In his statement he says things like "He pulled an assault rifle out of his bag" and "He had five magazine clips for his assault rifle."

You see, using the term "assault rifle" is MUCH better than just saying "weapon" or "rifle" ... you know why?  Because the media has brainwashed the public/potential jury pool (and apparently this pea-brained FBI agent) into thinking assault rifle=WITCHY WEAPON!!

Plus, I think we can all agree, he'd deserve a much lessor punishment if his rifle had been "regular" instead of "assault" ... right?

Sometimes I just have to shake my head.  I don't know about you but I expected a LOT more from an FBI agent than the regurgitation of mainstream media pablum.  Think about it ... we count on them to protect our freedom ... not jump in bed with the very assholes who are stealing it.

I have other questions:
1 - How long will it be before one of the crapstains in the media imply the shooter was "Tea Party?"

2 - Why does the agent cite "Title 18" of the united states code when filing the complaint?  It says, in part "... killing ... any officer or employee of the United States ... government ... while such officer or employee is engaged in or on account of the performance of  their official duties."

I mean, I'm no lawyer but WTF difference should it make wether:
a) the victim is a government employee
b) if they're engaged in "official duties" at the time of the shooting?

The guy's dead ... right?

I'll tell you why the law is written with all the unecessary crap in it ... so the lawyers can get rich parsing it and peel you like the idiots you are.  THAT'S RIGHT, you're idiots ... for voting people into office who promote this insanity.  The part I like best is how our intellectual betters "harrumph" and congratulate themselves about how smart they are for writing the laws like this ... oh it's so crucial.

How can you tell she's a "Democratic?"

A Chicago alderwoman wants to charge a $25 licensing fee for bicycle owners and require them to take an hour-long safety class.

Pat Dowell's proposal could generate up to $10 million a year if 400,000 cyclists buy the license. Dowell thinks the city should implement it instead of a heightened tax on cable television that's been proposed by the mayor.

The South Side alderwoman says bike riders should pay for increasing number of protected bike lanes on city streets. More here:

What?  I thought the libs didn't like television. I thought they LOVED bikes.  What a topsy turvy world!  Of course, your average couch spud (like Pat Dowell) doesn't like to see any increase in their cable bill ... especially if it's increasing due to a "tax."

I love it though, with these libs ... it's never enough, is it.  Tax and tax and tax and it's NEVER enough.

Something else with the libs ... even though you don't ask for the government to "provide" things, they take it upon themselves to do so anyway.  And then, later on it dawns on them "Hey, we can tax the idiots for this!"

Like health care ... first the government decides they're going to pay for everyone's health care by paying their bills in "emergencies" and then they turn around and tell you "Hey, you have to pay more because of the deadbeats."  And all the libs nod in unison because "bahhhhh, oh yeah ... we forgot about that."
