Why, there oughta be a law

Authorities in New York have detained a Spirit Airlines passenger, who allegedly made a threat as a flight was preparing to leave Monday.

Spirit Airlines Flight 197 was preparing to depart New York City's LaGuardia Airport for Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Monday morning when "a customer would not comply with instructions to turn off his cell phone and made a threat to the flight crew," according to an airline spokesperson.

Well, in his defense, I'd have to ask some pertinent questions.
1 - Has he ever been on an airplane before?
2 - Has he ever gotten online in his life?
3 - Has he ever read a newspaper or watched the news on TV?

Because if the answers to those questions is "No" then I understand and I think he should be given another chance.  If, however the answer is "Yes" to one or more, then I'd have to say he needs to be banned from American mass transit in general ... see, because he's just a braying, self-important jackass.

The customer was removed from the aircraft and the local port authority police and the TSA are handling the situation, the spokesperson said in a statement. While nothing was found in the search of the suspect or his bag, he is being questioned and may be charged for making a threat, according to WNBC's Jonathan Dienst.

As a precaution, passengers were rescreened and bags were rechecked, NBCNewYork.com reported.

Oh, everyone had to be "reescreened."  But OF COURSE, I mean, what ELSE do we have to do anyway ... except have our time wasted by a self-important jackass?  Right?

There were 145 passengers and five crew members aboard the plane, according to the local port authority press office. More here:

145 people inconvenienced because super-asshat didn't want to get off his cell phone.  And of course the airlines won't let you carry an axe (especially  a head-axe) so you can't just off and hit the jackass in the face with an axe ... which is the first thing to leap to my mind in cases such as this.

Teenage boys in GREAT peril

SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (Fox News) Exotic dancers performed lap dances on teenagers at a boy's surprise 16th birthday party in an upstate New York village, police said, and investigators were trying to determine whether any organizer of the celebration committed a crime.

Oh yes, let's do "investigate" ... let's stick our liberal noses wherever we want ... and WE'LL determine whether peaceful people, minding their own business, "committed a crime."

Funny, ain't it ... in school they told us we were "free."

South Glens Falls Police Chief Kevin Judd said the investigation began after people concerned about the Nov. 3 party at the Spare Time bowling alley told authorities about racy photos that had been posted on social networking sites.

Man o' man, I'm so glad to see the police department investigating this aren't you?  I'm sure they're all caught up on "investigating" violent criminals. I'm so glad to know my tax money is being used so wisely and to keep us all safe.

At least one of the images shows a scantily clad, tattooed woman clinging upside down to a seated teen as others look on.

"Several kids at the party got lap dances," Judd said. "We have a lot of people to talk to." The names of the boy and his parents haven't been released.

What's this?  They got lap dances?  O-M-G!!!! CALL THE COPS!!!!

And why would you "release" the names?  Don't you really mean "publish and humiliate?"  Yes, I think you do. I mean, after all, they aren't behaving exactly as you think they should ... they're probably witches too.

That's what I love about libs.  They "offer" you their helpful advice on how to live ... and if you ignore them, they'll helpfully force their wisdom upon you (always for your own good, of course) and they'll jail you if necessary ... until you "see the light."

Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy said Thursday that investigators were trying to determine who hired the dancers and if the alley served alcohol to any of the partiers.

He said there were 80 adults and teens in a room where floor-to-ceiling windows were masked off with brown paper while the two dancers from a company called "Tops In Bottoms" performed.

"Whether it got beyond that, we don't know," Murphy said. "We don't know about sex acts."

Right ... but we MUST investigate, right?  Yes, the Gestapo will put a GESHTOP to THIS BUSINESS!

The teens and dancers aren't targets, he said, but child endangerment is among the potential charges faced by any adults who organized the party. Also, the bowling alley's liquor license could be revoked if it knowingly allowed the exotic dancing or served alcohol to anyone under age, he said.

LOL -- the cops are really going to get to the "BOTTOM" of this.  And what do you MEAN a private business can't "allow" a private party to rent the party room and have some strippers in there?  Isn't "freedom" great?

WE MUST ERECT A STIFF OPPOSITION TO THE SMUT FRONT.  WE CAN'T LICK IT BY BEING SOFT! (George Carlin.)

In addition to endangering, Murphy said there could be charges of unlawfully dealing with a child if kids were served alcohol and misdemeanor sexual abuse if it's learned either of the dancers was touched through their skimpy clothing. From here:

"Endangering." THAT'S RIGHT, it's very perilous.  The idiots call it "endangering" when you give a sixteen year-old kid a lap dance.  What did Sir Gallahad have to say about this? I believe it was in the "Search For The Holy Grail" ... "no, no ... I can defeat them, there's only 150 of them ... please, let me face the peril."

Note: Of COURSE Fox News didn't supply a pic with the story since your imagination works just fine right?  But the Klown went to Google for the pic ... just in case your imagination wasn't working so well today ... you're welcome.

Upstanding citizen murdered by city

The family of a teen who fell from the wheel well of a jet in a Boston suburb two years ago is suing Charlotte, Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and US Airways.

The family of 16-year-old Delvonte Tisdale says negligence by the city, the airport and the airline caused the teen to fall from a Boeing 737 to his death.

Yes, "negligence by the city" caused it.

Boy do I feel stupid ... because up until now, I thought it was the fault of the pea-brained-asshat who crawled into the wheel-well.  See how dumb I can be.  But, if it's the city's fault, they're REALLY going to be expected to pay, right?  Perhaps millions for this cruel act of murder.

The lawsuit filed in Charlotte says the city, the airport and the airline should have done more to prevent Tisdale from getting onto the tarmac and into the wheel well of the plane. It seeks damages in excess of $10,000.

Oh, nope ... only ten t'ousan' curp. That's mighty strange, don't you agree?  Obviously it's because the family is very community minded and selfless ... so they don't want to burden the city/county/airport too much.

"The city remains saddened by the death of Delvonte Tisdale and wishes to express sympathy for his family. However, I don’t see how the city or the airport could or should be held legally liable for Mr. Tisdale's decisions and actions," city attorney Bob Hagemann said in a statement in response to the lawsuit. More here:

The city is saddened?  I wonder if that's true ...  it probably is, with such an upstanding citizen being murdered in his prime like this.

The media will be letting you know what to think ... about the juice

The poor, poor, "Palestinians," getting their injured to the hospital.  I guess they couldn't find any pics of the dead Jews.

Guess what, Israel is fighting with the terrorists in Gaza. Yes, the Hamas terrorists have been firing rockets into Israel for weeks, did you know that?  Answer: Probably not.

Anyway, Israel decided to take out one of the leaders.  And what is the headline on this "news?"

Gaza returns deadly rocket fire on Israel

Yes, the terrorists are "returning fire." LMAO. Here's another one I like. Never mind that the rockets that Hamas have been firing have killed plenty of Israelis ... they were only "killed"  (not assassinated or anything.)

But what does the media/headline say when Israel strikes back?

Hamas leader assassinated

Ok, so you know what to think now, right? Good, because obviously, certain facts are not relevant ... you don't need to know them.

Democratics find excuse to make a mad "dash for your cash" (as usual)

The president did not shy away from the question, saying, “I am a firm believer that climate change is real, that it is impacted by human behavior and carbon emissions.”

Gee, that's great, Mr Presidink, so you "believe" in climate change" (what ever happened to "global warming?")

Now you go right ahead and "believe" in it ... but is there any possible way you can leave my freedom and my wallet out of it?  Answer: No.

Because, if you think about it, ALL of the "ideas" from the Democratics involve expanding government by stealing my money to give to their buddies ... so their buddies can head up the new XXX Dept Of Writing More Rules For Klown To Live By.

So the answer to global warming is for me to give up my money and liberty, right?  Oh, and for me to stop using fossil fuels, right?  And this is the EXACT same answer your "scientists" had for "Global Cooling" back in the 70's remember?  Don't you find that a bit strange?

“You know, as you know, Mark, we can’t attribute any particular weather event to climate change.

We can't?  Then why is the media going out of their way to dredge up this issue of "climate change" since hurricane Sandy hit a few weeks ago?

What we do know is the temperature around the globe is increasing faster than was predicted even 10 years ago.

Not true, in fact, according to the latest study/report the opposite is true ... and yet the media say nothing.  It's probably because the media just don't know about this fact, right?  Yes, that's it.

We do know that the Arctic ice cap is melting faster than was predicted even five years ago. We do know that there have been extraordinarily — there have been an extraordinarily large number of severe weather events here in North America, but also around the globe.”

Uh, really?  I thought you JUST SAID that we can't attribute "weather" to climate change.  Anyway, outside of hurricane Sandy, do you have any examples to which you can point?  Or is it true that we've had significantly LESS hurricanes in the last 10 years than average?  Which is actually true, Mr Presidink?  And does the truth even matter to you?

Speaking of the ever expanding/shrinking ice cap, many "experts" say it's normal.  I mean it has shrunk and expanded so many times we should rename it "The Oprah" ice cap.  And what are we to make of the Antarctic ice cap getting bigger?

“And I am a firm believer that climate change is real, that it is impacted by human behavior and carbon emissions. And as a consequence, I think we’ve got an obligation to future generations to do something about it." More here:

Of course you do ... and once again, the "something" is steal people's freedom and money under the guise of "its for your OWN GOOD."  That's right, they want to centralize even MORE power and money into the incompetent boobathon federal government and give money to their friends ... for your OWN GOOD ... GET IT?

Located on Beaver Road? The funny ... it's too much

Big Bone Lick State Park is located at Big Bone in Boone County, Kentucky. It is located on Beaver Road and between the communities of Beaverlick and Rabbit Hash. The name of the park comes from the Pleistocene megafauna fossils found there. The mammoths are believed to have been drawn to this location by a salt lick.

I'll just bring my wife to work becausssssse ... I have brain damage?

A June 23, 2011 photo shows Paula Broadwell (second from left) watching as Petraeus and his wife arrive for a Senate Select Intelligence Committee hearing on Petraeus' nomination to be director of the CIA.

Ok, what the hell is the story?  Why do these people bring their damn wives to a congressional "hearing."  And by "hearing," I mean a session where, with impunity, the opposing political party can make any damn accusations and/or character assassination that occurs to their BB size brains.

I've seen people (Clarence Thomas leaps to mind) bring their wives to these things and their wives end up crying ... I mean, for Christ's sake people ... don't subject your wife to this bullshit ... and who brings their wife to work anyway?

Also, in the same story, I found this tidbit. Oooooo, gossip.

But Broadwell’s father said Sunday his daughter is the victim of character assassination and implied the bombshell story is just a smoke screen for something bigger.

“This is about something else entirely, and the truth will come out,” Broadwell’s dad, Paul Krantz, told the Daily News outside his home in Bismarck, N.D.

“There is a lot more that is going to come out,” said Krantz, claiming he was not allowed to elaborate. “You wait and see. There’s a lot more here than meets the eye.”

The email "trick" used by the two West Point geniuses

CIA Director David Petraeus and Paula Broadwell, a former military intelligence officer and his biographer, adopted a well-worn online trick, in an apparent attempt to keep their communications secret.

They wrote their “intimate messages” as draft e-mails in a shared Gmail account, according to the AP, allowing them to see one anothers’ messages while leaving a much fainter data trail. When messages are sent and received, both accounts record the transmission as well as such metadata as the IP addresses on either end, something the two seemed to be seeking to avoid.
Petraeus and Broadwell apparently used a trick, known to terrorists and teen-agers alike, to conceal their email traffic, one of the law enforcement officials said.

Rather than transmitting emails to the other’s inbox, they composed at least some messages and instead of transmitting them, left them in a draft folder or in an electronic “dropbox,” the official said.

Then the other person could log onto the same account and read the draft emails there. This avoids creating an email trail that is easier to trace.

More here:

Of course, as one commenter pointed out:

I guess they didn't notice that link at the bottom of gmail, that tracks (for your own safety) the last 10 or so IPs that log into an account. *eyeroll*

I'll just add ... is this really the guy who heads up the gd CIA?  I mean, the CIA? The super secret spookage?  Oh for crying out loud.

Hey, I know, after we're done purging West Point generals for getting some nookie on the side, let's replace them with the likes of John Kerry ... you know ... cuz I NEVER get tired of looking at his dumbass, ugly, traitorous, communist "Democratic" mug.

Change is great

There's an old sea story about a ship's Captain who inspected his sailors, and afterward told the first mate that his men smelled bad.

The Captain suggested perhaps it would help if the sailors would change underwear occasionally.

The first mate responded, "Aye, aye sir, I'll see to it immediately!"

The first mate went straight to the sailors berth deck and announced, "The Captain thinks you guys smell bad and wants you to change your underwear."

He continued, "Pittman, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Witkowski, and Brown, you change with Schultz."

THE MORAL OF THE STORY:
Someone may come along and promise "Change", but don't count on things smelling any better.

Huge new threat to freedom

(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama's senior campaign adviser David Axelrod said on CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday that his next project will include inspiring young people to become "journalists." More here:

Why do we have a constitution?

George Washington at Constitutional Convention of 1787, signing of U.S. Constitution.
Found the pic here:

I shall answer the question below, not from some "intellectual" standpoint, but instead from my point of view. You can judge for yourself whether it makes any sense.

WHY DID THE FOUNDERS OF OUR COUNTRY WRITE THE CONSTITUTION?

The founders and framers were very well-read men ... very familiar with the history of governments in general ... very familiar with both old and new philosophy as it relates to the freedom of men.

In view of this knowledge, they undertook to write a basic law to govern all future laws and to LIMIT THE POWER OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

By doing that, they also limit the power of "the majority."

But Klown, why?  Don't we have majority rule?

Well, we're not supposed to.  In fact, the framers were well aware of what happened (and will always happen) when you get "majority rule" so they went to GREAT lengths to prevent it.

Think about it ... do you think that 51% of the people should RULE OVER the other 49%?

We have a pretty generous immigration policy in this country ... how would you feel if the 51% were Muslim? See, the Muslims don't want to be "ruled over" by Christians but they have no problem or hesitation whatsoever doing the reverse.

From my viewpoint, I don't want to be "ruled over" by people who think they know better than me.  I don't care how "smart" you are ... or if you consider the 'science to be settled" ... if I want your opinion, I'll ask for it, otherwise, keep your genius to yourself and keep your hand out of my pocket, mmmmkay?

And it doesn't stop with religion either, I just used that as an example ... to show you that the framers KNEW things could change majority-wise ... and it's never a good thing for individual liberty to have a simple majority "ruling" over the minority ... unless you're interested in the possibility of becoming a slave.

They figured to give the states and the people most of the power ... so that states could compete with each other in giving people their liberty.  But the federal government was supposed to be innocuous and have VERY limited powers ... each of which the framers painstakingly "enumerated" ... so that even morons could capisky it.

This way, people could be free to move among the states if some jackass outlawed salt despots and tyrants started ordering people around ... and collecting too much of their hard-earned curp money (for your own good, of course.)

Yet some people (mostly Democratics) want to justify their tyranny with:
"It's constitutional under the commerce clause."
"It's constitutional under the necessary and proper clause."
"It's constitutional under the general welfare clause."

To which I respond, "Oh really, you think the intention of the founders/framers was that government can do anything it damn well pleases just because of a couple of sentences in the constitution?

If that's the case then why did the framers bother writing the rest of the constitution?  Why didn't they just have a one-sentence constitution?  I can see the document now ... big lettering ... "Government can do whatever it wants."  Why didn't they do that? Hmmmmm?

See, and jackasses like this are interested in justifying their theft of my liberty ... for my own good, of course.

To sum up, the constitution was written to protect your liberty and individual freedom by limiting the power of the federal government (so it wold not usurp the power of the states) ... and to prevent incursions on your liberty/freedom by the constantly shifting whims of your intellectual betters the "majority."

As an example of states rights, the good ol' people of California just voted to increase taxes.  And that's FINE, I love it.  But why did they do that?  Do you know anyone who WANTS to pay more money to the government?

See, their government spent money with abandon ... they spend MUCH more than they took in.  And when governments do that, it all boils down to a tax on the people ... because eventually, the people will pay the debt ... and THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE A DEBT CEILING.  Think of a debt ceiling as a tax ceiling.

And this is why I love the states/powers thing ... that way, dumbass hippies can't reach into my wallet, as they are SO prone to do.

Speaking of that,

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said on Wednesday that if the $16.394 trillion current legal limit on the federal government's debt must be raised in the next few months by another $2.4 trillion, “We’ll raise it."
In other words, we'll steal your money raise your taxes no matter WHAT you say ... you got me, asshats? Because you ran out of money before we finished giving your money to our friends, expanding government, buying votes and just generally having a blast ... cuz money is power, baby.

We won't actually say that though ... no ... instead we'll tell you it's to "save you."  Oh yes, you didn't know?  They've been saving your brains out for the last 20 years.

Has the government passed a budget in the last three years? Answer: hell no, that might limit their spending ... and right now, they're drunk as hell with power and they're doing you gangnam style.

The Republicans are for a balanced-budget amendment to the constitution and the Democractics are fighting it.  Does that suggest anything to you?  Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?
