Yes, he took his kids camping ... out of the blue ... at midnite ... in freezing temperatures ... and guess what ... mystery of mysteries, his wife "disc-appeared."  Yep ... missing.

Well, recently there was a bit of a disturbance as the father blocked the visitation of a social worker, took both of his kids inside a house, a then blew 'er up ... how about that? And apparently this comes a a big surprise to every lib with a pair of Birkenstocks and a pipe.

One of the two young children murdered by their father after a horrific custody battle had provided chilling details of how their mother went missing after a late-night camping trip.

Josh Powell killed himself and his two sons Braden and Charlie in a gas explosion in their rented Washington state home on Sunday - two years after their mother Susan went missing.

Today one of the family's lawyers said that 7-year-old Charlie 'talked about that they went camping and that Mommy was in the trunk

‘There had been previous visits and they had gone fine,’ social services spokesman Thomas Shapley told MailOnline.

Yes, so this comes as a total shock to everyone without a brain libs.

A lawyer for Josh Powell says he received a three-word email from his client just minutes before Powell and sons Charlie and Braden died in a house explosion. It said, 'I'm sorry, goodbye.' 

Attorney Jeffrey Bassett said the email arrived at 12.05pm Sunday, but he didn't see it until two hours later, when others informed him of the blast.

He says he knew Josh was upset after being ordered to undergo a psycho-sexual evaluation recently, but he didn't see this coming. 

Didn't see THIS coming? Well of COURSE not.  What idiot lib defense lawyer could have EVER predicted this? I mean, why didn't those kids just use their "chi?"

Powell's brother-in law Kirk Graves, 39, said the family was stunned by the news. 'We never contemplated the idea he would do something like this. You just don't expect it from a father,' he said. 

Hey ... Kirk ... stop spewing idiocy. You know damn well you expected more criminal behavior out of this guy. Who do you think you're kidding when you try to give the criminal some benefit of the doubt? Are you trying to show everyone how brain-dead "open-minded" you are?

Idiot libs don't care about your kids

NEW PORT RICHEY, Florida -- A Pasco County mother is upset after she heard what happened at her son's school on Friday. Authorities said one student set a special education student on fire at Gulf Middle School in New Port Richey.

Michelle Craig said her son was visibly shaken about the incident. "He was upset. He was very upset. I could see it in his eyes," she said.

According to New Port Richey police, the incident happened in a boy's bathroom. The police report states one student "took a can of Old Spice body spray and lit the spray stream on fire." He then "directed the fire stream at fellow student." 

The victim's pants briefly caught on fire and the hair on his arm was singed.

The school's resource officer tells 10 News the victim was very scared and upset after the incident. Also, it doesn't appear the two students involved had an ongoing issue. In fact, the student who lit the flames has a clear disciplinary record at the school.

Really?  A "record?"  And somehow this little dipshit  is still allowed to pollute the learning environment with his presence.  But, hey ... at least nobody was seriously injured, right?  And when someone IS finally seriously injured we'll say "we did all we legally could." 

We all know that fear of lawsuits drives public (and private) policy now ... but hey, no reason to do anything about it at all.  No reason to take action whatsoever.  We'll all pretend that demonstrating idiocy is actually the way we show how smart we are, baaaaa-bleat.

Yes, because in the normal world, setting others on fire is very entertaining ... we all know that much, right?  So, that explains it then, no more questions, please.

Craig said she's concerned about her son's safety at the school. "You expect your child to go to school and be safe, you know, and they're not. You don't know whether your kid is going to come home or what," she said.

The student was charged with aggravated battery. He is only 11 years old. It will be up to the State Attorney's Office to decide what happens next. 

Oh, whew, they're going to bring in the masterminds (i.e. State Attorney's Office - The SAO) Well, I think that, what ever happens, the State Attorney's Office should have to suffer equally (with any new victims) the consequences of their action/non action. 

In other words, any moron can see this perpetrator needs to be separated from the rest of polite society for a period of time (and perhaps forever.)  At age eleven, I think a period of one year isn't out of line.  Then the State Attorney's Office can reevaluate.  Perhaps even bring in a psychiatrist (and possibly place the sufficiently remorseful crapstain back into regular school.)

However, if the SAO and/or psychiatrist recommends putting the little jackass back with normal humans again then the they should be made to suffer equal consequences that another victim might incur within the first year.

For example, if the perp lights another person on fire then the psychiatrist and someone from the SAO should be lit on fire.  So if the "powers that be" are at all uncomfortable with the predictability of outcome then they should not be allowed to "experiment" and place them around our own children.  

Because, right now, YOU are the only ones who have to suffer the consequences of their policy/action ... bring THEM into it and I submit to you we'd have a better mindset.  Perhaps it might even occur to them to stop forcing their decisions upon you, period.

It's also unclear right now what disciplinary action the student faces in school. 10 News tried to reach out to Pasco County School officials for comment, but did not hear back. More with video at wtsp.com:

Really?  Didn't hear back, huh.  Well now, that's a mystery, eh?  A  real stumper there.  But LOL @ expecting them to be accountable without being forced in a court of law.  They are your intellectual betters ... you don't just start questioning them.  Who do you think you are?

Also, have you noticed ... there is no such thing as "disciplinary action" anymore.  If there were, this kid wouldn't still be in this school with his "extensive record," now would he?  That's because the methods they use for "disciplinary action" are things like "in school suspension."  AKA - nothing.

And one final thing.  How come they feel it necessary to mention the victim was a "special needs" student?  Think about it.  Why do libs think it's worse, in general, when the victim of a crime is a child?  Oh, and you better agree too, got me?

This seems counter-productive to me. The Right blames the Left for destroying the Constitution and now the Left is blaming the Right? Maybe I'm missing something but both can't be correct on this one.

Here's another one I don't get. What is "wrong" with people paying the same "effective tax rate" as everybody else? The repercussions of no income tax were made obvious in the early part of the last century- the rich got richer and the poor got poorer and the richer the rich got, the more they abused their power. I get it that that's not good for the majority but the whole idea of increasing taxes to fix the deficit doesn't make any sense at all.

Modern politicians are the latest iteration of the robber-barons of the steel and railroad glory-days and nobody is watching them. Nobody.

Deputies used a Taser on a woman who wouldn't surrender to them after she cut into a McDonald's drive-through line and then refused to move her car without being served, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Evangeline Marrero Lucca, 37, of the 100 block of Snow Hill Church Road, pulled up to the window of the McDonald's on Legion Road, near Black and Decker Road, on Friday afternoon and held up the line for about 20 minutes before deputies arrived, said Debbie Tanna, a Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.

Staff at the restaurant reported that Lucca drove her Ford Taurus to the pickup window, bypassing the order screen and payment window, and tried to order her food there, she said.

"She did not want to wait in line," Tanna said. "They told her she had to go around and wait like everybody else did and place her order that way, that they weren't set up at that window to take her order or take her money. ... She wasn't having any of that." 

The woman refused to move her vehicle and became confrontational with the employees, she said. 

"When we arrived, she really got mad," Tanna said. Details here:

Well then, I think I'd have been ok with the wait if I got to see the cops tasering an entitled-mentality, line-cutting, dumbass.  Ohhhh, McDonalds staff, here's a note ... the next time something like this happens give the person a HUGE soft drink so their bladder is nice and full when the taser hits them, capisce?

Another heartwarming "Robber miscalculates and dies" story

Gian Davis, 30, died after a confrontation with two men law-enforcement sources say he tried to rob.

A Newark man died after a tussle with a former high school wrestler he tried to rob early Saturday, NBC New York has learned.

Yes, please note that a "tussle" is defined by this jourrrrrnalist as a confrontation in which a violent criminal has placed you in a headlock causing you and your friend to fear for your lives so much that you are forced to restrain the criminal to the point that he dies.  Tsk tsk -- a tussle.

Law-enforcement sources told NBC New York that 30-year-old Gian Davis approached two men near Bloomfield Avenue at about 1:15 a.m. and asked for change. 

When the men said "no," he then asked to borrow a cell phone, grabbed it and tried to run off with it, sources said.

One of the men lunged to get the phone back and Davis put him in a headlock, according to sources. 

Then, law-enforcement sources say the other man, a former high school wrestler, pulled Davis off his friend and put the would-be robber in a headlock. 

I sure hope the victim said "I reckon not" as he grabbed the jackass robber.

It was strong enough that Davis apparently choked to death, sources familiar with the investigation said.

Listen, it wasn't "strong enough" that he choked to death, it was strong enough that he couldna breathe.  Get it?  And no, no way should the victim have let him loose "just a bit" so he could get his breath. You do that and you risk your life with crapstains like that.

A source said the two men called police and then stayed on the scene until authorities arrived. Davis was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A medical examiner will determine the cause of death. Tom Fennelly, Chief Assistant Essex County Prosecutor, would only confirm that an investigation is ongoing. 

No charges have been filed against the former wrestler or his friend. Their names have not been released. Fennelly said they are cooperating with the investigation.

Davis had prior arrests for aggravated assault and theft. He was released from his last stint in jail on July 22.  

What?  He had priors?  Robbing and stealing and inflicting himself on others -- over and over again?  Why this comes as quite a surprise indeed.  This is certainly most incongruous ... a rarity, even.

Ever since I watched this movie (The Outlaw Josey Wales) a hundred years ago, the phrase "I reckon not" has become a favorite spice in my lexicon.  He says it all throughout the movie and finally, at the end, he says "I reckon so." Anyway, I found a clip of it -- this is toward the end of the movie.  I'd skip ahead to about the 1:15 mark.

AAA warns that spare tires are going extinct

No one likes changing a flat tire. In fact, just storing the spare can be a problem: if it's inside the vehicle, it can take up valuable cargo space, and if it's kept outside, it may prevent you from using bike racks or other accessories. But AAA says that thanks to new fuel economy regulations, we may not have to worry about either of those things much longer, since spare tires could soon disappear altogether. 

We've spilled a lot of ink discussing the new fuel economy rules handed down by the Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency. Those regulations will require average fuel economy to hit 34.1 mpgs by 2016 and 54.5 mpgs by 2025. 

Automakers have a number of tools at their disposal to help them reach those goals -- for example, hybrid and electric powertrains. But reducing the weight of vehicles is also important, because as every carbon fiber fan will tell you, reducing weight is an easy way to boost fuel efficiency. 

In recent years, much of that weight has been coming out of the trunk. It's increasingly rare to find full-size spares in many vehicles, and in their place are lighter "donuts", which aren't meant to travel long distances or at high speeds. AAA says that the new fuel economy rules could make even these pint-size spares go the way of the dodo, leaving vehicle owners with run-flat tires (which can go limited distances when punctured) or fix-a-flat kits (which work fine on small holes, but do little or nothing for bigger problems, much less blowouts). Gallup state numbers predict huge Obama loss 

Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215. Idiot politicians flail with abandon

As the recession continues onward, House Republicans are worried that those receiving welfare payments may be having a bit too good of a time.

The chamber will again vote Wednesday on a bill which would ensure that electronic withdrawals of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families dollars aren't allowed to be withdrawn from ATMs at strip clubs, casinos or liquor stores. TANF replaced national welfare programs after the welfare reforms of 1996.

The measure, sponsored by Louisiana Republican Rep. Charles Boustany, had originally been approved by the House in December as part of a larger funding measure for welfare programs, but it was dropped from the final law. Now, it will get a stand-alone vote, along with several other measures which face an uncertain future in the Senate.

"The abuse of [electronic benefits transfer] cards must stop," Boustany said when the measure was first proposed in December. More here

I'm sexy and I know it

She's just 5 years old, but "Toddlers & Tiaras" star Isabella Barrett is already making nightclub appearances -- singing songs about her sex appeal -- and TMZ has obtained video evidence.

Well, you know what I think about leaving people alone when they aren't doing anything to hurt anyone else.  But ... this just doesn't seem right to me.  The lib in me wants to jump in there and use the government to force these people to behave as I wish.

In Polk County , Florida ,(a shitbag) who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including twice behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.
The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times.
When asked by the media why 68 times, Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had." Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what!
