Border guard damages illegal's truck

Border cop dies, struck by fleeing truck
Vehicle suspected of entering illegally from Mexico

YUMA, Ariz. - A Border Patrol agent trying to stop a vehicle that had illegally entered the U.S. was struck and killed Saturday in southeastern California, agency officials said.

The agent was killed about 20 miles west of Yuma in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area, a spot along the border that is popular with off-road vehicle enthusiasts and frequently used by smugglers.

The agent attempted to impede the vehicle's progress before he was hit, but the Border Patrol did not immediately have more information, said agent Eric Anderson, a spokesman for the agency's Yuma sector. More here:

Hey -- I wonder if they'll give immunity to the drug smuggler so he can testify that the agent damaged his fucking hummer -- so he can sue the widow of the border agent to fix the truck. You can prolly see the teeth marks on the fender.

Let me tell you people something -- this guy died trying to stop illegals from crossing into the US from Mexico. He's a far better man than I.

After his compatriots, Ramos and Compean, were jailed for shooting in the ass an illegal alien who was transporting 743 pounds of drugs. THEN, the authorities gave immunity to the drug dealer to testify against the agents -- and was caught YET AGAIN smuggling drugs into the US. Yes -- using his "immunity" to smuggle drugs -- for -- the umpteenth time -- and yet -- the illegal alien drug dealer testifies -- and our agents are in jail. GREAT JOB, LIBS. PACK SAND.

Were I the agent above -- I would not have given two flaming shits whether those people crossed illegally or not. You think I'm risking my life for a bunch of ingrates? Think again, Batman. No way a bunch of braying jackasses are going to put ME in jail. Let them cross -- I'll make it look good - but FUCK YOU if you think I'm actually going put myself at risk or do something that requires ACTION.

I can only hope that the people who prosecuted and imprisoned our border guards get what they so richly deserve. One thing I DON'T want though is for an illegal "immigrant" to make it across and rape/murder their wife or daughter and then burn their house to the ground.

By the way -- you can go here and send an e-mail to Presidink Bush -- pretty much "click the red arrows" to add the text you want -- free -- takes 3 minutes of your life -- prolly too much to ask though -- you're prolly very busy. Here's what it looks like if you're not too busy.

I'm no fan of Bush, but ...

You know how the genius libs are always trying to portray Presidink Bush as an idiot?
The guy who graduated Yale with a degree in history?
The guy who graduated Harvard with an MBA?
The guy who flew fighter jets in the service?
Here is the plane the "chimp" flew. The F-102 Dagger.

Yep -- Presidink Bush -- he's a real "Chimp" (isn't that what they call him?) -- according to the elite genius Democraps.

Here's the cockpit -- it's only obvious any chimp could manage it -- at supersonic speed -- under fire -- right genius Democraps? The really cool part is, I can be sitting in a bar, having a beer, and hear some mental fucking retard talk about how dumb Presidink Bush is -- and yet -- I don't get up and bash their fucking skull to a pulp with a baseball bat ... and then piss on the pulp -- now THAT, is cool -- you know -- because I resisted the urge -- but I usually still have to pee anyway.

From The Onion:

New Roommates Attempt To Find Manly Way Of Saying Good Night

MINNEAPOLIS—One month after moving into their shared apartment, roommates Nick Horowitz, 23, and Dan Crenshaw, 24, are still trying to find an appropriately masculine way to bid each other good night, Crenshaw told reporters Tuesday.

"We started out by bumping fists and saying 'night bro,' and right now we're getting by with really sarcastically saying 'nighty-night, sweetie,'" said Crenshaw, who recounted several other short-lived nightly salutations, including a particularly ill-conceived attempt that ended in an awkward half hug.

"I think I'm going to try out something tonight like 'good night, fuckface,' and we'll go from there." Crenshaw said that the good-morning greeting of grunting, scratching, and repeatedly calling each other "queer" seems to be fulfilling the pair's needs at present.

Acts of Gord

"Do you sell mod chips?"

"Go ahead, ask me what I sell."

"What do you sell?"

"I sell video games. What a stupid question."

"What does a mod chip cost?"

"Apparently one of us isn't keeping up."

"What do you mean?"

"If I sold you a mod chip, then you would never buy a game from me ever again. And that would be very much in opposition to my being able to run a profitable business."

"I just want one to play copied games."

"What? Do I look like an idiot? What the hell did you think I thought you wanted it for?"

"err…"

"Exactly. Now look, if I were to sell you a mod chip I would lose you as a customer. Now, if I were going to lose you as a customer I'd rather do it on a high note like setting you on fire. At least then I would have some satisfaction of a job well done."

"I'm leaving!"

"But I haven't set you on fire yet!"

Jourrrnalism & ACLU is the same thing?

From Newsbusters:

Journalist Moving from Paper to ACLU: A 'Continuation of Her Work'
By Tom Blumer January 15, 2008 - 08:58 ET

This isn't The Onion; it's for real (HT Hot Air; bold after title is mine):

Burke named executive director of ACLU in Texas

Terri Burke, former editor of the Abilene Reporter-News, has been named executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas.

Burke, 56, will begin work at the ACLU of Texas on Tuesday. Her duties will include lobbying, fundraising, administering the organization and communicating with the public.

Burke said her new job seems like a continuation of her work in the newspaper business.

"I wanted to be a journalist because I thought journalism was a way to further the democratic process," Burke said. "At its heart, journalism is about the First Amendment. All my life, I've been interested in those kinds of issues."

I will suggest that no one in Old Media will think of Burke's move as the least bit odd.

Funny, that's not how they saw it in 1998 when the late David Brinkley retired and became a spokesman for a large corporation.

Hmmm -- moving to the American Criminal Liberties Union is just a continuation of being a jourrrrrnalist -- ha ha ha.

Woman resists sugar-level test

A woman filed suit Wednesday against a Skokie eye doctor and the doctor's former assistant, alleging the assistant licked her toes during an eye-exam visit last year.

The lawsuit, filed in Cook County Circuit Court by Roman Tesfaye, names the assistant, Joseph Vernell Jr., and the doctor, Tamara Wyse, and seeks in excess of $50,000 in damages for battery and emotional distress.

According to the suit, the incident occurred July 13 when Tesfaye went to the Myers-Wyse Center for the Eye, 4700 Golf Rd. in Skokie, for an exam. After she was escorted into an examination room, Vernell, dressed in surgical scrubs, entered and dimmed the lights.

The suit alleges Vernell then told her he was going to perform a "strip test," and placed a strip over her eyes and told her she must keep her eyes closed for 5 to 7 minutes. He then reclined the examination chair and raised her legs onto another chair, at which point Tesfaye "felt her right shoe fall off," the suit states.

"Ms. Tesfaye felt something touching her toes," according to the suit. "After feeling the toe-touching several times, she opened her eyes and witnessed Mr. Vernell stand up and pull his shirt down."

When she accused him of licking her toes, Vernell allegedly replied, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but I was checking your sugar level," the suit states. More here:

STOP -- RESISTING -- SUGAR TEST!!
$50,000 for a toe-lickin'? That's a little steep.

YAY, LIBTARDS - Thanks again

You wonder why your car costs as much as a house?

DETROIT (Reuters) - New fuel efficiency requirements imposed by Congress will add, on average, $6,000 to the price of GM vehicles sold in the United States, the automaker's vice chairman and product chief said on Tuesday.

Congress passed a new energy law in December 2007 that requires automakers to increase fuel economy across the industry to 35 miles per gallon by 2020 -- up 40 percent from current levels.

"We've done the research and it's going to cost us $4,000 on some vehicles and $10,000 on others, with an average of about $6,000," Bob Lutz told reporters at the North American International Auto Show.

"That cost will have to be passed on to consumers," Lutz, a long-time vocal critic of federal fuel regulations, said. More here:

Coward is a hero

The real hero of the Heathrow crash landing was revealed yesterday as a man named Coward.
Straight after the drama Captain Peter Burkill was praised for safely bringing down his stricken Boeing 777 with 136 passengers on board.

But Captain Burkill admitted yesterday that Senior First Officer John Coward was at the controls when the plane suffered a catastrophic power failure in both engines 40 seconds from landing. The initial investigation report confirmed both engines had failed two miles from the airport. More here:

The Klown catches Obama's HUGE slip

Sure -- it's ok to portray women as weak ... dumb ... definitely in need of a man to keep her lame ass straight you know -- IN THE 1950's.

LAS VEGAS - Michelle Obama got a night out in Vegas for her 44th birthday Thursday.

It came at a cost, though — two long days of campaigning for her husband ahead of Nevada's presidential caucuses Saturday.

"I want to publicly proclaim my love and admiration for my wife, Michelle," Democratic hopeful Barack Obama said after she introduced him to a crowd of voters at Rancho High School, who sang "Happy Birthday" to her. He joked that it was only her 29th birthday.

"Even though I'm campaigning, ladies, I just want you to know, I'm taking her out to dinner tonight," Obama said. Oh my -- look at that ... even though HE'S VERY BUSY WITH CAMPAIGNING, he's going to make time for his wife.

Advisers declined to say where they would eat, except to say it would just be the two of them.
"Taking her out to dinner" -- my -- how chivalrous of you, Obama. Oh swoon, swoon "taking her out."

As if his wife doesn't contribute to the family in any meaningful way -- it's HE that has to do the "TAKING" -- because, without him, she could not afford it -- she'd have to stay home unless someone TOOK her out.

He didn't say "WE'RE going out to dinner to celebrate her birthday." He said "Hey ladies ... I'm TAKING her out."

And the worst part is, he's pandering to a bunch of politically correct libtard snatches and it went right over their heads. You know why it went over their heads? The media hasn't told them about this particular phrase yet. So they don't realize it is "keeping them down" ... they are too dumb to see it on their own. Even his own wife doesn't get it. Only because it seems so sweet - and it's intended to be sweet -- but the KLOWN sees through it all -- and one day, the media will glom onto it, and the party will be over.

When will it happen -- when will the words "I'm taking her out to dinner" become as socially unacceptable as "if your husband finds out you're not store testing for fresher coffee.?" I, for one, can't wait. This insidious phrase has gone undetected FAR TOO LONG.

After all -- that's what's important, isn't it -- political correctness is above all else. Absolutely critical -- political correctness has helped society in so many ways -- we must be relentless in it's never-ending pursuit.

Hey -- I wonder if I'll win a prize -- cuz this one is going to fuck people up for the next 20 years. We can all concentrate on this ... and think of how much better off we'll be. SCHTING!!!

Massachusetts libs make robber rich

BARNSTABLE, Mass. - More good luck for a convicted bank robber who won $1 million Massachusetts lottery prize.

A judge says Timothy Elliott can keep his winnings even though he violated probation when he bought the scratch-off ticket.

Elliott was put on five years probation after pleading guilty in 2006 to robbing a Cape Cod bank. Part of that probation included no gambling or buying lottery tickets.

His lawyer calls the violation minor.

Elliott has already gotten his first of 20 yearly $50,000 checks. He will now have to pay a $65 monthly probation supervisory fee, which had been waived because he was indigent.

Yes -- NEVERMIND he's a fucking BANK ROBBER WHO ISN'T IN JAIL. Yes -- robbed a mother-fucking bank in 2006 and HE'S NOT IN JAIL. CAPISCE?

NEVERMIND he was TOLD HE COULD NOT DO IT.

NEVERMIND he figured "FUCK YOU LIBERAL JACKASSES," he'll do as he damn well pleases -- you know -- since there is NO PUNISHMENT FOR ROBBING BANKS, what could they POSSIBLY do to him for "violating probation."

NEVERMIND he violated his probation - probation -- that's nothing -- nothing at all -- you complete fuckwits -- you act as if PROBATION means a god damn thing to criminals.

NEVERMIND the fact that if he didn't buy the ticket, the prize would have rolled over, which means more people would buy the tickets and more money would have been available for schools etc. No -- it's MUCH better that shit-for-brains bank robber man have the money. -- Fuck 'em anyway -- bunch of liberals.

It happens all the time

POMONA, Calif. - Monica Thomas-Harris got the chilling news just before Christmas: Her estranged husband, jailed for abducting and threatening her, had been released.

A frantic Thomas-Harris rushed to the district attorney's office, begging for an emergency protection order that would allow police to arrest him if he came near her. But it was the Friday evening before Christmas, and no judge was available. The next business day was Monday, but that was Christmas Eve, and her husband's lawyer was on a long vacation and couldn't be reached for a hearing.

Less than two weeks later, Thomas-Harris, 37, was dead, shot in a motel room by her husband in a murder-suicide.

The case has shaken California's legal system, led to an internal investigation by the Los Angeles County district attorney's office, and prompted demands from victims' advocates and family members for an explanation of how the husband managed to get out of jail while he awaited sentencing.

"It was around the holidays, people were on vacation. It just seems like we were so close, but not close enough," said Pamela Booth, director of the branch of the district attorney's office that oversees the Pomona courthouse. "That's one of the really tragic things about this."

Victim's father disgusted
By all accounts, Thomas-Harris' death resulted from a holiday-related chain of unfortunate circumstances and missed opportunities.

Among them: The prosecutor and the judge who originally handled the case were both on vacation when the deal to release Curtis Harris was struck. The prosecutor filling in that day relied on the judgment of Harris' attorney, who had known Harris for only a month. And a vital piece of paperwork — a probation report warning Harris was a danger to his wife and unsuitable for release — was overlooked or ignored in the holiday shuffle.

"I think it's disgusting that a judge, a district attorney — even his own defense attorney — would have the background they have on a person like this and would permit him to leave court," said Thomas-Harris' father, James Thomas. "What was his business? To go right out and find my daughter and kill her."

A history of trouble, violence
The couple married in 2001, by which time Harris already had a long rap sheet, including felony convictions for drugs and weapons. Within a few years, Thomas-Harris left her husband, moving into her parents' West Covina home, and in 2005 she filed for divorce.

Around the same time, she filed for a restraining order against her husband, accusing him of smashing her kitchen and bedroom windows when she refused to let him in. But she never showed up for a hearing on the request, and the matter was dropped.

On Nov. 16, he kidnapped her at a park and handcuffed her to furniture in a motel room, according to police. But she didn't report it to police. Two days later, he abducted her again, binding her with duct tape, locking her in a car and threatening her with a stun gun. This time, she told police about both incidents.

On Dec. 21, Harris, a 34-year-old worker at a company that manufactures plastic food containers, pleaded no contest to false imprisonment and possession of a gun by a felon, under a deal that called for a 16-month prison sentence. He asked to be freed before his formal sentencing so he could arrange care for his elderly mother.

‘Everybody's worst nightmare’
Deputy District Attorney Samer Hathout, who was filling in on the case, and her supervisor both signed off on the deal to let him out. Superior Court Judge Tia Fisher, who was filling in for a vacationing judge, agreed. More here:

Yeah -- this happens every day and the same dimwitted liberal fuckwits are there saying "Whaaaa? Who could have predicted this?" The Klown prays that the lawyers and judges who are responsible for his release soon have to endure the same terror and loss of life that they inflicted on this victim and her family.

I wonder -- why aren't any of the presidential candidates talking about fixing our criminal justice system? I mean, under the Klown's system, this dangerous, repeat criminal would have been hard at work somewhere under the watchful eye of a person with a shotgun -- but I guess that's just too difficult to do. I sure hope it doesn't impact YOUR families -- but you probably don't care since you don't vote these jackasses out of office.

Democrap - PWNED

From Hot Air:

Democrats have so many hobgobblins they can’t seem to keep them all straight. Here Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH) confuses Fed chairman Ben Barnanke with Treasure Secretary Henry Paulson.

On a 1-10 pwnage scale with 10 being uber pwnage, this is about a 6 I think.

U.S. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur came to a House committee hearing on Thursday prepared to ask U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson tough questions about his involvement in the subprime mortgage crisis.

Unfortunately, she was questioning the chairman of the Federal Reserve.

The Ohio Democrat, at a House of Representatives Budget Committee hearing, said she wanted to know what Wall Street firms were responsible for the securitization of subprime mortgages. She then asked: “Seeing as how you were the former CEO of Goldman Sachs …”

But the only person testifying at the hearing interrupted.
“No, no, no, you’re confusing me with the Treasury Secretary,” said Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.

“I’ve got the wrong firm? Paulson, Oh, OK. Where were you sir?” Kaptur said. Bernanke noted that he was head of the Princeton University economics department.

“Oh, Princeton, oh, all right, sorry. I got you confused with the other one … I’m glad you clarified that for the record,” she said.

Oh shut up you dumb fucking snatch.
Here's the video if you give a shit.

Very interesting

Paper airplane to be launched from International Space Station
Posted by Cory Doctorow, January 17, 2008 10:24 PM

The Japanese team on the International Space Station will launch a paper airplane (co-designed with the Japan Origami Airplane Association) into the Earth's atmosphere -- the plane's been treated with heat-resisting stuff and is expected to survive reentry:

The researchers are scheduled to begin testing the strength and heat resistance of an 8 centimeter (3.1 in) long prototype on January 17 in an ultra-high-speed wind tunnel at the University of Tokyo’s Okashiwa campus (Chiba prefecture). In the tests, the origami glider — which is shaped like the Space Shuttle and has been treated to withstand intense heat — will be subjected to wind speeds of Mach 7, or about 8,600 kilometers (5,300 miles) per hour.

A large spacecraft such as the Space Shuttle can reach speeds of up to Mach 20 (over 15,200 mph) when it re-enters the Earth’s atmosphere, and friction with the air heats the outer surface to extreme temperatures. The much lighter origami aircraft, which the researchers claim will come down more slowly, is not expected to burn up on re-entry.

Objective jourrrnalist blows Obama

The Chris Matthews appearance on Jay Leno wasn’t all about the Shi’ite Republican fanatics. Matthews also went into a typical swoon for his favorite presidential candidate, Barack Obama. "If you're actually in the room when he gives one of his speeches, and you don’t cry, you’re not an American." Matthews could not help slipping into a sales job for Barack and his wife Michelle, and he knew it: "they're cool people. They are really cool. They are Jack and Jackie Kennedy when you see them together. They are cool. And they’re great-looking, and they’re cool and they’re young, and they're -- everything seems to be great. I know I'm selling them now. I'm not supposed to sell, okay?...But the fact is, I wouldn't be an honest reporter if I didn't tell you what the spiritual experience is like of being in a Barack Obama rally."

Hey -- Mr. Objective jourrrrrnalist -- you forgot to add "but the other candidates are ok too." Hey -- do you make him wear a rubber when you're blowing him?"

Jackass jourrrrnalist gets ass fired

Golfweek magazine replaced the editor responsible for illustrating the current cover with a noose and apologized Friday for its depiction of a Golf Channel anchor's use of "lynch" in a comment about Tiger Woods.

Seanor said in an interview Thursday night that he took responsibility for the cover, which showed a noose against a purple sky and the title, "Caught in a Noose." The subtitle said, "Tilghman slips up, and Golf Channel can't wriggle free."

In an editorial, the magazine explained why it felt the Tilghman story deserved so much attention. It was accompanied by a cartoon that showed the Rev. Al Sharpton, who demanded Tilghman be fired, holding a noose and offering it to a pair of Golf Channel employees staring in a hole of thin ice, presumably where Tilghman had sunk.

Reaction to the noose drew a harsh rebuke from PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem.

"Clearly, what Kelly said was inappropriate and unfortunate, and she obviously regrets her choice of words," Finchem said in a statement. "But we consider Golfweek's imagery of a swinging noose on its cover to be outrageous and irresponsible. It smacks of tabloid journalism. It was a naked attempt to inflame and keep alive an incident that was heading to an appropriate conclusion." More here:

Wow -- they fired a jackass jourrrrrnalist who was just trying to inflame the incident. Congratulations, Golf Magazine, on doing the right thing.

Celebrity dead or alive?

Quiz -- They give you two photos of celebrities and you try to guess which one is still alive. In the pic depicted above are, Donatella Versace (left) and Liz Claiborne.

Brrrrrr - Last time I saw something that looked like Donatella Versace, I was watching the sci-fi channel and she was aboard the mother-ship holding an anal probe. Anyway -- I got 2 wrong -- and it should have been worse -- got some guesses right.

Slip and fall Judge

Few at the Norfolk Superior Court house in Dedham disputed that the worn and uneven front steps needed fixing. But when a judge in his late 60s tripped on them and broke his left kneecap more than three years ago, neither the state nor the county wanted to take responsibility for the condition of the steps.

Now the judge, Paul A. Chernoff, is suing both the state and the county to determine who is at fault.

Chernoff, who is about to retire, wants to know which party will cover his future medical bills if he develops arthritis in the damaged knee or requires a knee replacement. More here:

Yes -- who is "at fault?" I think the culprit is around here somewhere -- if we could just figure out the responsible party. I'll bet they won't even fight the suit because it will cost more than he's asking to defend it. Now -- if tort reform were enacted and he had to pay if he lost -- and he had to prove he wasn't negligent, he would never file the suit. (After all, he said the steps were dangerous -- and he should know after working there for so long -- so why wasn't he taking proper and prudent care?)

This type of bullshit has ruined our country and I'm so tired of these thieves I could go mental. What tells me he was a slip & fall lawyer before becoming a slip and fall judge.

How To Bust A San Francisco Poker Party
A POKER game is busted by the police in San Francisco.

Police in San Mateo County, California apparently first spent months investigating the small-stakes poker game. From this firsthand account, it looks like a couple of the officers were playing regularly for several weeks before sending in the SWAT team, guns drawn, last week. If California is like most states (and I believe it is), a poker game is only illegal if the house is taking a rake off the top. In this case, it looks like that “rake” was the $5 the extra the hosts asked from each buy-in to pay for pizza and beer.

Police also took a 13-year-old girl out of the home, away from her parents, and turned her over to child protective services. In addition to the charge of running an illegal gambling operation, the hosts are also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Good thing the poor girl was saved before slouching toward an inevitable life of crime.

A player writes:

Somebody jokingly said only the cops knock like that. Well, they were right. A grip of policeman come in with their guns drawn. Wowser.

They took pictures of all the players at the tables, all the rooms, the chips, the cards, the dogs - everything. They made us sit with our hands on the table and finally put the guns away. Somebody tried to take a drink of their beer, and was told there would be time for that later. That was good news at the time.

Yep -- Freedom -- it's great -- this is EXACTLY what the founding fathers had in mind for you. Ha Ha -- and we make fun of the Muslims for making their women wear their scarves etc -- I guess we can all just STFU now.
