Watch out, he's going to "expose it."

A top Republican senator has ordered an investigation into the Environmental Protection Agency's alleged suppression of a report that questioned the science behind global warming.

The 98-page report, co-authored by EPA analyst Alan Carlin, pushed back on the prospect of regulating gases like carbon dioxide as a way to reduce global warming. Carlin's report argued that the information the EPA was using was out of date, and that even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have increased, global temperatures have declined.

"He came out with the truth. They don't want the truth at the EPA," Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla, a global warming skeptic, told FOX News, saying he's ordered an investigation. "We're going to expose it."

Expose it? Sure you will Senator. I"m sure the mainstream/government media can't WAIT to get this information to the public. Oh, trust me, they'll be all over it. My guess is they don't do one story on it -- not one. If they do, it will have the overtone of discrediting the writer of the report.

Specifically, the report noted that global temperatures were on a downward trend over the past 11 years, that scientists do not necessarily believe that storms will become more frequent or more intense due to global warming, and that the theory that temperatures will cause Greenland ice to rapidly melt has been "greatly diminished."

Oh really? I wonder what happens to you when you disagree with the Gestapo ... erm ... I mean the EPA. Surely they wouldn't fire reassign you would they? Only a low down piece of shit would do that ... right?

"It was reassigning you or losing my job, and I didn't want to lose my job," Carlin said, paraphrasing what he claimed were McGartland's comments to him. "My inference (was) that he was receiving some sort of higher-level pressure."

"I don't want you to spend any additional EPA time on climate change. No papers, no research, etc., at least until we see what EPA is going to do with climate," McGartland wrote. More here:

Spicy peanuts

Here is the real paragraph from their ad:

Buy our Jumbo Peanuts Cajun in Shell

With this nut snack , we’ve brought that spicy Cajun flavor all the way from the bayous of Louisiana to Virginia peanut country. If you want to “kick it up a notch” this is the healthy snack for you. More here:

"With this nut sack ... ?" LMAO. Somewhere there's a bunch of peanut executives sleeping. Or maybe they wear helmets to work.

Michael Jackson

The guy in this pic knew Jackson for a long time. He wrote an article. I read the whole thing.

By the way, last night I watched a special on him ... it seemed to me he lied repeatedly. At one point, he swore the children were his biological children. Judge for yourself. There is a pic of the kids sans masks at the link.

Congressman talketh sense

Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) had a few choice words about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) landmark climate-change bill after its passage Friday.

When asked why he read portions of the cap-and-trade bill on the floor Friday night, Boehner told The Hill, "Hey, people deserve to know what's in this pile of s--t." More here:

By the way, My congressman voted against the TARP (one of only 10 Democrats to do so, ) voted against the bailouts, and he just voted against the idiot "Global Warming" bill. Of course, Democrats didn't want to call it the global warming bill so instead, they named it "The American Clean Energy and Security Act" ... cuz ... who could vote against that ... right?

Anyway, I went to check on how my congressman voted ... all ready to send him a brutal letter ... and SHOCKER ... he voted against it. He often votes against the Democrats and I used to be consistently surprised when he did ... but not so much anymore. I went ahead and sent him a letter thanking him for his votes on those issues and telling him I wish he would support the fair tax.

Anyway, if you give a half a damn how your congressman voted, you can click
here. If you don't give a damn, get off my blog and stay off, jackass.

Woops, oh, sorry -- Jeez

Talent audition gone bad! - Watch more Funny Videos

Obama - do you believe him yet?

Democrats narrowly passed historic climate and energy legislation Friday evening that would transform the country’s economy and industrial landscape.

“We passed transformational legislation which takes us into the future,” Pelosi said at a press conference following the vote, after she and other leaders took congratulatory phone calls from Obama, former Vice President Al Gore and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. More here:

Yes, and what happens when energy prices "skyrocket?" Everything else goes up too ... I SAID "EVERYTHING ELSE GOES UP TOO!!" So, way to go, liberals/Dipshitocrats. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the good Americans who vote for Dipshitocrats. They are truly the party of the "working man" ... if by "working man" you mean very rich people and groups who are working non-stop to crush America.

Farrah gets wish

Saint Peter: Welcome Ms. Fawcett. You have lived a good life and suffered with dignity at the end. For that you get one wish.

Farrah: I wish for all the children of the world to be safe.

Saint Peter: OK, but we're gonna have to kill Michael Jackson.

Friday Pins (Brunswick County Style)

Twelve women were arrested at four locations just after midnight Friday during a late-night prostitution sting led by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers arrested five women at Close Encounters in Calabash, three at Smile Spa in the Thomasboro area, three at the Sun Spa in Longwood and one at Playmates in Calabash.
The women were charged with a combined 26 misdemeanor charges, including solicitation, prostitution, crimes against nature and performing illegal massages. The managers of the Smile Spa and Sun Spa were also charged with maintaining a place of prostitution and aid and abet prostitution.
Kudos to the sheriff's dept. It only took ten years to figure out that Playmates wasn't a late night day care center.

Scarying stack of chips

Oopsie daisy - this stack of chips looks like doom to me. Luckily, she had prepared her doom so it was no shock to her system.

When Friday pin's move ; )

Let's give away 10 million crisp

Hey, you know what the US Government should do right now?

It should give away 10 million crisp to improve education ... in Cambodia.

I continue to be amazed by the idiots/bureaucrats in government. It's as if they couldn't care less if they appear to be complete and total morons. Nothing will stop them. It's as if they look for the absolute DUMBEST-ASS thing they could do ... and then do it. Seriously, they couldn't appear dumber if they hired Harvard grads to research how to do it. They're EXPERTS at being dumbasses.

As if THAT weren't enough to prove how stupid they are (not to mention careless with my money,) how about if we give A HUNDRED THOUSAND CRISP to breed some fucking toads in Wyoming?

DVD Extras: The Making of...

I had to go deep deep undercover to find this tidbit. Deep!

Dave Letterman's top 10 for tonight's show.

This is just appauling! How can these people not be in jail for these irresponsible comments? HA, who am I kidding. This is some funny shit.

What? What's the problem?

ATLANTA | S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford arrived in the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport this morning, having wrapped up a seven-day visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina, he said. Sanford said he had not been hiking along the Appalachian Trail, as his staff said in a Tuesday statement to the media.

Sanford, in an exclusive interview with The State, said he decided at the last minute to go to the South American country to recharge after a difficult legislative session in which he battled with lawmakers over how to spend federal stimulus money.

Sanford said he decided not to return via the Columbia airport to avoid the media. The State Media Company was the only media who greeted Sanford this morning. Huh? Don't you think it's a little late to "avoid the media?"

"I don't know how this thing got blown out of proportion," Sanford said.

Sanford said he has taken adventure trips for years to unwind. He has visited such places as the coast of Turkey, the Greek Isles and South America. He was with friends sometimes and sometimes by himself.

"I would get out of the bubble I am in," Sanford said. More here:

Yeah ... sure ... sometimes I plan on going hiking and then, out of the blue, I decide Buenos Aires ... you know ... by myself ... without telling my wife or staff. Then I just hang out by myself ... for a week. I do it all the time ... gets me out of the bubble ... very relaxing. No big deal. Nothing more to know here ... everything makes perfect sense ... move along.

LMAO - 20 minutes after I wrote this blog post, look what shows up on Drudge.

Gov. Mark Sanford admitted today that his secret trip to Argentina over Father's Day weekend was to visit a woman he is having an affair with. More here:
Gee, who would have thunk it. Quite the mystery. Way to go, Republican jackasses. Give the media more ammo with which to smear conservatives. I mean, WHAT KIND OF AN IDIOT thinks ... AS GOVERNOR ... you can just disappear for a week or so without anyone getting suspicious. Must have been some good pussy.

The "tolerant" left

A high school teacher in Kansas who claimed his contract was not renewed due to his conservative political views has been reinstated

Tim Latham, 44, who was told that his school-affiliated Web site was "too patriotic," will return this fall to the 2,000-student Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Kan., where he'll continue teaching American history and government for a second consecutive year. Since the contract renewal became official late last week, Latham, a teaching veteran of 20 years, said he's received countless well-wishes from students and teachers alike.

During a meeting last September with Assistant Principal Jan Gentry, Latham claims Gentry mentioned his school-affiliated Web site, which she called "too patriotic." The site had links to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the Air Force, the U.S. Army and other military-and history-related sites.

He claimed the critiques took a personal turn in October, when class lessons began focusing on the presidential race between Obama and John McCain. One unidentified student has complained to Gentry that Latham had been too critical of Obama.

"I had been called into [Gentry's office] and was told I was picking on Obama in class," Latham said earlier this month. "But I didn't cover anything else that wasn't already covered by anybody else in the news."

Latham also said that Gentry asked him about a "McCain-Palin" bumper sticker on his car.

"She said, 'I don't know how you could support that woman,'" Latham said. "That was the beginning of what was going on. They were trying to find a reason to get rid of me."

Hey, I wonder if the government media will cover this.

You can read the rest here:

You can send Mr. Latham a congratulatory email (as I did) here.

Oh Look!

There ARE pins pics on the internet that don't look like they were taken in a trailer park!

African Thunderstorm

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did

Run away bravely - I SAID BRAVELY !

LMAO @ this video. First the protesters throw rocks at the cops -- then the cops throw rocks back. Hilarity ensues. Stay with it to the end -- prolly about 1 minute or so -- maybe two:

If you've been living under a rock for a week, this is in Iran.

Thanks to Ace:

Ever hear of Norman Thomas ??

The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." -

Norman Thomas, Six time U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate.

Yes -- later he said:

“I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform.”

Ha, and people say Socialists are idiots.
