NY Anchorman Resigns After Calling Live Show Under False Name
By Warner Todd Huston November 19, 2007 - 10:09 ET

Gary Anthony Ramsay, an anchorman for NY1 News, has resigned this week over his efforts to damage Rudy Giuliani's bid for the White House by commenting on the Bernard Kerik situation under a false name on the air. It appears that Ramsay called into an episode of the station's call-in show "The Call" and claimed his name was "Dalton from the Upper East Side" before going off on his rant against Giuliani associate Kerik. Looks like Mr. Ramsay couldn't keep his journalistic integrity in force long enough to give his own name and stand by his own opinion and it has cost him his TV job.

Well now you sneaky communist cocksucker -- "objective" jackass -- tough shitski for you. I only wish you got what you really deserve. What a piece of shit.

Ha -- this is funny - but it cleaned my brain

Don't You Hate it When SUVs Kill People?
The AP Sure Does
By Warner Todd Huston November 19, 2007 - 11:55 ET

Here is the kind of lapse in logic that drives me crazy (no pun intended). The AP today has a story headline that just makes me cringe: "SUV plunges into canal, killing 7 people inside."

Now here is the problem, HOW did an SUV go about killing these poor people? Did it unpark itself, drive across town, slam open its doors and gobble up some folks waiting at a bus stop and then drive them into a canal?

Should we be wary of every SUV on the street for fear that it may kidnap us only to drive us off cliffs or into canals?

Or is it more likely, AP, that a driver was responsible for killing the passengers INSIDE the SUV?

Isn't it a tad more likely that the SUV did not kill anyone, but that the actions of the human at its wheel was the culprit?

Seriously though -- the media sure hates SUV's, don't they? And they want to be sure you're brainless, twitching ass does as well.

‘60 Minutes’: Obesity Epidemic Requires Obese Government
By Kyle Drennen November 19, 2007 - 16:29 ET

On Sunday’s CBS "60 Minutes," anchor Lesley Stahl began a segment on calorie labeling for fast food by making this alarmist proclamation: "Obesity rates continue to spiral out of control in this country and nutritionists say one main reason is how dependent we've become on eating out." Enter the big government hero:

Health Commissioner Thomas Frieden is in charge of regulating New York City's $11 billion restaurant market...the chains are up against a formidable foe, because Frieden has a record of making big industry bend to his will. He's the one who forced smoking out of city bars and artery-clogging trans fats out of city restaurants. Both those bans spread nationwide, which is also happening with his new crusade.

Frieden’s latest "crusade" is to force big fast food chains nationwide to label the calories of all of their products, which were exempt from doing so. As Stahl explained, "Now, one of the most powerful health officials in the country wants to change that by forcing chain restaurants like McDonald's and Wendy's to spell out exactly how fattening their food is right when you decide what to order."

It's official, folks, fast food is the next in the long line of witches discovered by the anti-America left. Another fine American industry will be crushed -- actually -- they're really only coming for our wallets -- this is just a way of taxing the fast food industry's "excessive profits."

And they'll let you know -- they're making "excessive profits" at the expense of your waistline -- it's bad for you -- it's a secular sin -- TAX THEM -- TAX THEM.

Better than in the 1600's right -- then the cry was BURN THEM -- BURN THEM. They weren't kidding then and they're not kidding now.

Hey -- I wonder if they'll call it "profiteering?" -- or will it be:
1 - Excessive profits
2 - Obscene profits
3 - Windfall profits

Hey -- I wonder what witch-name they'll give it:
1 - Big food?
2 - Big fast food?
3 - Big obesity?
4 - Big fat fat?

Whatever it will be, I'm sure it will start with "Big" -- cuz, by now, your dumbass is trained to think Big=Evil.

Anyway -- take your guesses in the comments.

Global Warming Hysteria Could Make Gore Richest VP in History

Is the press beginning to see through Al Gore's global warming scam?

A brief article posted at Newsweek's website offers hope that the media might finally be recognizing the former Vice President could be this decade's Ken Lay. For those that have forgotten, Lay was the CEO of Enron.

Here's an excerpt:

Al Gore just won a Nobel Prize for teaching the world to think green, but he's also showing he knows a thing or two about another kind of green: money. Since 2000, according to published reports, the former veep has transformed himself from a public servant with around $1 million in the bank to a sparkling private consultant with a net worth estimated to be north of $100 million. He's a senior adviser to Google, a board member at Apple and now a newly minted general partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, the Silicon Valley venture-capital firm that made billions investing early in Netscape, Amazon and Google.

Gore has pledged to hand over his KP "salary" to Alliance for Climate Protection, a nonprofit he chairs. But the gift is more symbolic than material. Gore's salary—his cut of the 2 percent "management fee" that KP partners get on all investments—is typically a sliver of the total compensation that VCs receive. If Gore's profit-sharing deal is anything like the firm's other 23 partners, he's also in line to collect tens of millions of dollars a year.

WOW -- A senior advisor to Google huh? Board member at Apple, huh? Now a big partner in a huge investment firm. He must be some kind of genius for all these huge companies to want him involved. Yes -- what "exactly" is he doing for them again? I don't think I undercapisky.

I mean -- what exact expertise is he giving them that justifies their paying him millions and millions of dollars?

Anyway -- it must be a serious area of expertise -- cuz every CEO with jock itch is hiring him. It must be all on the up and up -- I trust him -- don't you?

Trust me -- there's a reason and you'll NEVER know what it is. Whatever it is, I guess it doesn't interest the media enough to find out and let us know.

ABC's Sawyer: 'Vigilantes' Going 'Too Far' to Combat Illegals?
By Scott Whitlock November 20, 2007 - 12:34 ET

According to ABC anchor Diane Sawyer, a new Oklahoma law making it a felony for U.S. citizens to knowingly provide shelter or transportation to illegal immigrants goes "across the line," "too far," and turns people into "vigilantes." Interviewing Lou Dobbs, CNN host and noted opponent of illegal immigration, on Tuesday's edition of "Good Morning America," Sawyer appeared to be aghast at what she considered "turning people in" for offering assistance to illegals.

The GMA host even quizzed Dobbs about whether his problem is with Hispanics in general. After noting a new Census Bureau report that found last names such as Garcia and Rodriguez are increasing in number, she guardedly wondered, "To Lou Dobbs, is this a good thing or a bad thing?" After Dobbs responded in favor of legal immigration, Sawyer plowed ahead with her question about the new Oklahoma law. She incredulously queried, "People are vigilantes about transportation and shelter? Isn't that going too far?"

Well -- first things first:

A vigilante is someone who takes enforcement of law or moral code into his own hands. So learn what words mean before you use them -- or are you just using them for propaganda purposes? (Don't answer, pinhead.)

Secondly -- you look here -- you brainless talking snatch -- illegal immigration is illegal -- you know -- like rape -- so when someone is doing something illegal, a good citizen turns them in -- got me, dumbass?

For example -- Let's say I see someone cut your tongue off and start fucking the stump -- now -- do I call the cops? -- or is that "going to far?" How in the hell did you EVER graduate college without a course in reasoning, dumb fuck? Seriously -- what the hell is wrong with you?

I wonder -- when your husband looks at you -- does he know which end to fuck? -- or does he get it wrong half the time? You prolly wouldn't know anyway, jackass.

Time Magazine Article from 1974 - Excerpt

As they review the bizarre and unpredictable weather pattern of the past several years, a growing number of scientists are beginning to suspect that many seemingly contradictory meteorological fluctuations are actually part of a global climatic upheaval.

However widely the weather varies from place to place and time to time, when meteorologists take an average of temperatures around the globe they find that the atmosphere has been growing gradually cooler for the past three decades. The trend shows no indication of reversing.

Climatological Cassandras are becoming increasingly apprehensive, for the weather aberrations they are studying may be the harbinger of another ice age.

Telltale signs are everywhere —from the unexpected persistence and thickness of pack ice in the waters around Iceland to the southward migration of a warmth-loving creature like the armadillo from the Midwest.

Since the 1940s the mean global temperature has dropped about 2.7° F. Although that figure is at best an estimate, it is supported by other convincing data. When Climatologist George J. Kukla of Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty Geological Observatory and his wife Helena analyzed satellite weather data for the Northern Hemisphere, they found that the area of the ice and snow cover had suddenly increased by 12% in 1971 and the increase has persisted ever since.

LMAO -- Now you read this and tell me these people don't have shit for brains. GAAaaaaa the sky is falling -- the sky is falling -- NO -- the earth is rising -- the earth is rising -- no wait -- the sky is falling. You'd think they would be humiliated -- but it should be obvious to you by now -- it's impossible to humiliate a lib.

Which one is Keith Uberdope?

From Newbusters:

By Brad Wilmouth November 24, 2007 - 18:08 ET

On Wednesday's "Countdown" show, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann (Uberdope) accused Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and Fox News of "race hatred" in response to Conway making an arguably alarmist suggestion on Monday's "The O'Reilly Factor" that allowing the EEOC to sue employers for requiring its employees to speak English on the job could eventually lead to the hiring of non-English-speaking employees for other more serious jobs like air traffic controllers, resulting in airplanes crashing.

During the "Countdown" show's regular "Worst Person in the World" segment, the MSNBC host went over the top by charging that Conway was "trying to dress up the lunatic fringe's race hatred over there at Fox News," and, addressing Conway, advised: "If you were just honest about your racism, at least you wouldn't look quite that stupid."

Yes -- so you got that? If you think employers shouldn't be FORCED to hire people who can't speak English, then you're a racist (witch) -- got it? Good, racist jackass.

Yes -- he wants me (and people like me) to be forced to hire people who can't speak English -- can you think of anything dumber than that?

Keith Olbermann is just a genius isn't he? He hates conservatives and loves liberals -- just exactly like most of the media. (And his capacity for reasoning is right up there with the rest of the libs.)

When can we get him on a jet and into an area controlled by a non-English speaker -- heavy traffic area too. Maybe he can be in a car accident -- out in the middle of nowhere -- and someone could try to call it in to a "non-English speaking" 911 operator -- Ola -- Que es votre emergencia? -- Que? Que? -- Joto motay Mr. Robotay -- Passe le pain et du burre, sil vu plaite. Jesus Christ.

Hey -- I've got it -- we can hire a non-English speaker to put the words on his teleprompter. Sheesh what a fuckin' idiot.

For your amusement

I'm tired of making fun of Democrams -- here's some Republican fun.

"The number two Republican in the Senate, Mitch McConnell underwent heart surgery last week. He's doing fine. Nothing was actually wrong with his heart, it's just that whenever a Republican is elected to a leadership position, they have to have their heart bypassed." —Jay Leno

"Here's good news I guess, New York City will host the 2004 Republican convention. We lured the Republicans here the old fashioned way, with bribe money and hookers. ... The Republicans are getting ready. They want everything to go perfectly. In fact, they are already auditioning people to be black Republicans." —David Letterman

"Trent Lott has found himself in a lot of trouble over his comments (about segregation)...Keep in mind Lott only says this kind of stuff once every 22 years. We like to think of him as the Halley's Comet of bigotry." —Jon Stewart

"The government has now cancelled all pay raises for all federal employees. So let's see, President Bush's party has taken control of Congress, last week they gave themselves a pay raise, and cancelled pay raises for all other employees. I think that's called the 'Republican Trifecta.'" —Jay Leno

"Senator Strom Thurmond is retiring. He turns 100 years old in December – or as Anna Nicole Smith calls him – "the bachelor." —Jay Leno

"Today is the anniversary of the Watergate break-in. That's the day the Republicans tried to steal the Democrat's plans. That's also the last time the Democrats had any plans worth stealing. It's also the last time a Republican president had a plan and actually carried it out." —Jay Leno

"NBC announced this week that they will be producing a three-hour TV movie based on the life of Rudy Giuliani. To keep the movie true to life, the Giuliani character is really unlikable until the last fifteen minutes when everyone loves him." —Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update"

"Today President Bush said he wants a ban on cloning. Meanwhile, Attorney General Ashcroft said he wants a ban on making humans the old-fashioned way." —Conan O'Brien

Totally objective jackass - New York Times

Here's what Mr. Objective reporter looks like -- Hee Haw.

Considering how many hyperventilating media leftists broke their promises to leave the country if George W. Bush won reelection in 2004, I'm not exactly holding out hope we'll see the IRS arrest former New York Times bigwig Chris Hedges (file photo at right) anytime soon.

Hedges, if you recall, was the paper's former Middle Eastern bureau chief who became more famous (infamous rather) for his lengthy anti-war diatribe during a 2003 speech to graduates of Rockford College.

The devoutly left-wing Hedges has hardly stopped proclaming his bona fides since that time, even writing a book comparing American religious conservatives to the Taliban. Today, our hero is busy concerning himself with the conspiracy theory that the United States will soon invade Iran. If that proves to be the case, the unbiased former Timesman will refuse to pay his income taxes in that same year: More here:

What can I say -- he's an enema of our country.

Another lefty media favorite

Before Thanksgiving, the Laura Ingraham show had great fun with a Today segment on November 16. As part of a series on "Today Gives Thanks," news anchor Ann Curry expressed her deep love and appreciation for Maya Angelou, the liberal black poetess who delivered the mawkish "rock, river, tree" poem at Bill Clinton's first inauguration.

NATALIE MORALES, co-host: This morning we wrap up our special series "Giving Thanks Today" with Ann's turn to show her gratitude to a great woman. Ann.

ANN CURRY: That's right. You know, words can change your life, and listening to the words of Dr. Maya Angelou in 2002 changed mine. If you're not familiar with Dr. Angelou, you need to stop what you're doing and sit down and listen.A renaissance woman, she is a writer, performer, teacher and an American Poet Laureate...

Hold up a minute: Doctor Angelou? Even Angelou's website doesn't have her earning a bachelor's degree, let alone a doctorate, although she's been offered many honorary degrees at colleges. NBC's official transcript described her throughout as "Dr. Angelou." Let's fast-forward a few seconds: More here:

Doesn't matter -- the media want to be sure you know what, and how, to think -- so they leave no room for error in cases such as this. But yeah -- she's nothing but a commie poet -- so the media love her -- and they make sure you hear the word "Doctor" in front of her name very five minutes.

Fairly disgusting when you realize what a sham it is.

Now -- for conservatives (like Mark Levin) who have actually EARNED the "Doctor" title -- well -- nevermind them -- they aren't worthy of your respect and admiration -- you just do as the media tell you.

Here's what "ACTUAL DOCTOR" Michael Savage has to say about the commie poet:

From Media Matters:
Savage on Maya Angelou:

ANGELOU: "Do not always crush the weak. And the dream of democracy is not in the sole possession of the strong."

SAVAGE: Who does she think she's talking to, a college group of junkies? Boo, hiss -- get the cane for this liar. Get her off the stand, this moron. You fraud. Fifty-thousand dollars a pop for this crap at colleges.

ANGELOU: "That every American everywhere."

SAVAGE: Aw, shut up! We all have freedom! Or else a dirtbag like you wouldn't be up there! ... They make $50,000 a speech to a bunch of junkie college students, they scream about no freedom and oppression in America! Fifty-thousand dollars, running around to all the potheads around America.

Oh oppression, oh oppression -- oooohhh Klu Klux Klannnnn, oh bring me home ... oh Ku Klux Klan that man from Texas ... oooh the white sheets are rustling ... oh gimme the freedom ... ooooh Ku Klux Klan ... $50,000, please. On to the next college.

You know she has a lot of guts to get up there, knowing that she's not a poet, knowing she's conning the world -- Doctor Maya Angelou -- my dog has a bigger doctorate than she does. They granted her a fake degree, an honorary degree -- an honorary degree you buy. They give you one, I earned a real one from a great university, so I know what it is to earn a real doctorate, and I respect 'em. But I spit on people with honorary degrees. They're worthless. They're like mail-order degrees but cheaper.

Now seriously -- would you have known this lady was a sham regarding her education if you hadn't learned it here?

On ABC, Huckabee Sounds Like Hillary on Tuition Breaks for Illegals
By Tim Graham November 24, 2007 - 07:24 ET

Wednesday's edition of ABC's World News hyped the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll finding a dramatic rise in Iowa for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, rising to a near-tie with Mitt Romney, 28 to 24 percent.

After noticing that Huckabee attacked Romney as a pseudo-conservative, Jake Tapper challenged Huckabee from the right on taxes and on illegal aliens. When he asked about tuition breaks for illegals, Huckabee sounded like Hillary on the issue: "If you're government at the federal level is so incompetent that it fails to secure the border, you don't then grind your heel into the face of a 6-year-old child over it." More here:

Hey -- Huckleberry -- denying tuition breaks to illegals is not the same as grinding your heel into a 6-year-old's face -- jackass.

Poll says Chavez loses Venezuela referendum lead
By Enrique Andres Pretel

CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has lost his lead eight days before a referendum on ending his term limit, an independent pollster said on Saturday, in a swing in voter sentiment against the Cuba ally.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters oppose Chavez's proposed raft of constitutional changes to expand his powers, compared with 39 percent in favor, a survey by respected pollster Datanalisis showed.

Just weeks ago, Chavez had a 10-point lead for his proposed changes in the OPEC nation that must be approved in a referendum, the polling company said.

Despite the swing, company head Luis Vicente Leon said he did not rule out a comeback by the popular president.

Chavez has trounced the opposition at the polls on average once a year and can deploy a huge state-backed machinery to get out the vote, Leon said. More here:

So -- they're safe -- as we all know, commies never tamper with election results. Remember how Saddam used to get 100% of the vote? Now they'll find out what happinks when you freely elect a commie to head of state.

"It's black and white -- a vote against the reform is a vote against Chavez," he said in a state television interview.

But this year, Chavez has hurt his standing by shutting an opposition TV station and failing to end some food shortages.

Amanda Aguilar, 17, was in line at 5:30 a.m. waiting for a food store to open to buy her single, rationed carton of milk.

The student from Chavez's home-state of Barinas hopes the referendum will force him to change or force him out of office.

"All this lining up ends come December 2," she said.

Hey -- what's this about lines and food shortages? That isn't true -- we'd know about it if it were true -- our media would be letting us know the bad as well as the good with communism -- right?

Also -- there's this -- a lady from Venezuela posted a comment on another recent Chavez post. If you go to the post entitled "Only a witch would vote against me" and click on the comments, you'll see her comment and a link to her blog "Then end of Venzuela as I know it."

New boyband Teatro are preparing to unleash their debut album. Sucky Video here:

OK -- I can't take it anymore and I have to say something. A "band" is a small group of people playing instruments. If the people playing music also sing, they're still a band. If the people in the group don't play instruments, then they aren't a "band" ... they're a group of singing fairies and they need to be called something other than a "band." -- Any ideas? -- Choir? Glee club? Mincing minions?

Iraqi school guard, wife beheaded as children watch

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Three suspected al Qaeda militants, including two sisters, beheaded their uncle and his wife, forcing the couple's children to watch, Iraqi police said on Friday.

The militants considered that school guard Youssef al-Hayali was an infidel because he did not pray and wore western-style trousers, they told police interrogators after being arrested in Diyala province northwest of Baghdad.

Yes -- they're just regular people -- except they'll cut your melon off in front of your children if you don't believe in the exact same religion. And they won't even blink. Other than that though -- they're just like you and me.

Seriously -- I know we don't have cruel and unusual punishment -- but this cries out for torture as a deterrent. I know, I know -- it works so well that sooner or later we use it for everything on everyone. CRAP.

Let's detains peeps, everyone else does

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's police detained opposition leader and former world chess champion Garry Kasparov and several other anti-Kremlin protesters on Saturday as they demonstrated against President Vladimir Putin.

Around 3,000 people attended the protest organized by the Kasparov-led Other Russia group which unites Kremlin opponents -- from liberal free market thinkers to anarchists. A Reuters reporter was present at the scene.

Hey -- wait a minute - howcum WE don't detain "opposition leaders" (Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid) who protest our president? Huh? Howcum? The commies can do it -- why not us?

Notice -- if you're a "free market" person in Russia, you're a lib. Hysterical.

Sarkozy kicks crap out of commies

Yesterday, the strike of rail and subway workers that has crippled France for nine days was clearly crumbling, as workers began returning to work in large numbers and union branches conceded that support for the dispute is collapsing.

The left wing stoked strike has had a crippling effect on France’s economy but Sarkozy hasn’t given in. France has been struggling with an entitlement mentality that has slowed their economy and is basically keeping them in a non-competitive sleep walk. Sarkozy wants to change that and the left doesn’t like it. But their strike tactic hasn’t worked and most of the unions are giving up:

Managers for SNCF announced yesterday that 42 out of 45 rail union committees have voted to abandon the national strike that has frozen the country’s economy, and will return to work without delay.

Think anyone on the left here in America will understand the message in all of this?

Can I answer? -- -- OK -- NO!!! They are incapable of learning anything unless it's through pain -- you know -- same as the lefties in France -- they miss a couple of lattes and suddenly the thing in their brains that blocks learning gets weak.

How 'bout a round of Kumbaya

The pretty reflective glass on the Mathematics and Science building at Emory University is an 'aviary slaughterhouse, says John Wegner.' It kills dozens of birds who confuse the reflective woodsy view with the actual forest. The school puts up netting during the migratory season. It is one of Emory University's most environmentally friendly buildings, a hallmark of the institution's efforts to "go green." To hear John Wegner describe it, it's also a slaughterhouse.

The soaring glass windows in Emory's Mathematics and Science Center reflect the woodsy view, confusing hapless birds who smash into it at full speed.

"The building killed 60 birds in the first year," said Wegner, Emory's chief environmental officer. "It was the wall of death."

Wegner, a professor in Emory's Department of Environmental Studies, began documenting the deaths shortly after the building opened in 2002. He found an average of two birds a day were losing their lives during the height of the migration season.

Magnolia warblers, Swainson's thrushes, ovenbirds — no species was safe.

After getting the brush-off from the administration and architects, Wegner stuffed a couple of dead birds into his pockets and whipped them out during a meeting with his boss. Suddenly, he had an audience.

Now Emory drapes parts of the $40 million building with black mesh netting for about three months each fall, and migrating birds bounce off safely.

"It has saved hundreds of lives," he said. More here:

HA HA -- I wonder how much it costs to put up the netting. Yes -- I wonder about the "cost per bird-life saved." To me, if it's cheaper than cleaning up dead birds, fine -- if not -- I vote nay.

I'll bet the building looks great too -- with huge black nets -- surrounded by onlooking admirers -- mostly disheveled jackasses with hairy legs wearing Birkenstocks and black socks (and that's just the women.)

Band member shocked - Manson is weird

Shock rock singer Marilyn Manson has been accused of squandering his band's profit on a child's skeleton and masks made of human skin.

Keyboardist Stephen "Pogo" Bier filed a breach of contract lawsuit in August in which he accused Manson of taking cash belonging to the rest of the band to pay for the "sick and disturbing" purchases. More here:

Wait a minute -- hold it right there. Do you mean to tell me that Marilyn Manson is a weird, untrustworthy jackass and his keyboard player is just now finding out? Damn -- what kind of drugs do they take in that band?
