Another crying shame

lol@"as soon as I get my button". You're not getting a button you stupid donkey. You got used... and for a button. I guess we all have our price.

From now until the election, I shall wear my button and engage Obama supporters in conversation. Perhaps I can have some fun ... and, in the meantime, perhaps I can persuade at least ONE Obama supporter to change their vote.

At the very least, I can have fun mocking them while pretending to support Obama ... as long as I don't wear it in western Pennsylvania ... you know ... cuz that's where John Murtha says all the racists live ... and they may not get the joke.

Go Broke, communist assholes

NEW YORK, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Standard & Poor’s on Thursday slashed its ratings on the New York Times Co into junk territory and cited concerns about the newspaper publisher’s revenue outlook, after it posted a third-quarter loss.

Moody’s Investors Service also said it may follow the move, adding the publisher faces risks in refinancing its debt.

The New York Times posted a quarterly loss from continuing operations on Thursday and said advertising revenue at its news media group dropped 16 percent for the quarter. More here:

Heroes

Ed W. "Too Tall" Freeman (November 20, 1927 - August 20, 2008) was a United States Army fixed- and rotary wing aircraft pilot who received the Medal of Honor on July 16, 2001 for his actions in the Battle of Ia Drang in 1965. As a helicopter pilot, he flew through gunfire more than 20 times during a single, ferocious battle, bringing supplies to a trapped battalion of United States soldiers and flying more than 70 wounded soldiers to safety. Freeman flew wingman for Major Bruce Crandall who also received the Medal of Honor for the same missions. He is also honored in the film We Were Soldiers and is played by Mark McCracken.

Freeman died August 20, 2008 due to complications from parkinsons disease.

Media says William Ayers isn't a commie

In his book, "Prairie Fire," Ayers says differently. Here are a couple of quotes:

"We are a guerrilla organization. We are communist women and men, underground in the United States for more than four years."

"We need a revolutionary communist party in order to lead the struggle, give coherence and direction to the fight, seize power and build the new society."

See ... this is what I hate. Communist jackasses wresting our freedom from us bit by bit ... all the while pretending they aren't communists. You know ... like the media.

Teenager finds bat in bra

Abbie Hawkins, a hotel receptionist, thought her mobile phone was ringing when she felt vibrations coming from her clothes.

But she later discovered the tiny creature tucked away in the padded pocket of her underwear.

As staff and colleagues crowded around, Miss Hawkins, 19, produced the frightened bat, which was the size of her hand.

She said: "Once I realised it was a bat I was shocked, but then I felt quite sorry for it really.

"It looked very snug in there and I thought how mean I was for disturbing it."

Miss Hawkins said she got dressed at 7.30am and arrived for work at the Holiday Inn Norwich North, near Norwich International Airport without noticing anything unusual.

"When I was driving to work I felt a slight vibration but I thought it was just my mobile phone in my jacket pocket," she said.

It was not until her lunch break, at midday when she felt a strange movement inside her bra, which had been hanging on her washing line the previous night.

"I plucked up the courage to investigate and I pulled out a little baby bat. I just lost my breath when I saw it and I did not know what it was at first," she said.

The teenager's general manager freed the bat in the hotel garden.

"I keep thinking how could I have not known it was there?" Miss Hawkins said. "I will certainly be checking my bras every morning from now on."

Jaime Eastham, of the Bat Conservation Trust, said they had never heard of a bat being found in a bra before.

But she said the animals roost anywhere that appears dark and safe.

Looks like they got a fake/rubber bat for the pic.

Because Lord knows there's no stories out there about The One you need to cover.

Just weeks before Election Day, a former banker has filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court claiming he was fired for reporting to his bosses that there had been some shenanigans with the paperwork on a loan involving the purchase of Barack Obama’s South Side home and its neighboring lot.

Kenneth Conner claims in the suit that an appraisal found the vacant lot purchased by Obama fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko was worth $125,000 less than the bank’s first appraisal. The Republican National Committee was peddling the suit today with the apparent hope that Conner’s allegation would lend credence to the suggestion Obama needed Rezko’s help to finance the purchase of the Kenwood home–something Obama has denied.

The suit also includes this intriguing assertion:
The Rezko loan file was subpoenaed by a federal grand jury in Chicago, and when the bank responded to the subpoena the lower appraisal wasn’t included in the papers sent to federal investigators.

No, the media can't look into things like this because they're FAR too busy doing this instead:

Report Message

I saw on facebook that you went to Xavier, and if you don't mind, I'd love to ask you some advice about a story. I'm a reporter at the New York Times, writing a profile of Cindy McCain, and we are trying to get a sense of what she is like as a mother. So I'm reaching out to fellow parents at her kids' schools. My understanding is that some of her older kids went to Brophy/Xavier, but I'm trying to figure out what school her 16 year old daughter Bridget attends-- and a few people said it was PCDS. Do you know if that's right? Again, we're not really reporting on the kids, just seeking some fellow parents who can talk about what Mrs. McCain is like.

Also, if you know anyone else who I should talk to-- basically anyone who has encountered Mrs. McCain and might be able to share impressions-- that would be great.

Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

Meanwhile, not a single reporter has bothered asking anyone -- like, adults -- about the open secret that Bill Ayers babysat for Obama's kids.

So why doesn't McCain make an issue of this?

Oh, mercy, they are.

In a letter to the NYT, a McCain staffer notes "You have not tried to find Barack Obama's drug dealer."

It is worth noting that you have not employed your investigative assets looking into Michelle Obama. You have not tried to find Barack Obama’s drug dealer that he wrote about in his book, Dreams of My Father. Nor have you interviewed his poor relatives in Kenya and determined why Barack Obama has not rescued them. Thus, there is a terrific lack of balance here.

I suggest to you that none of these subjects on either side are worthy of the energy and resources of The New York Times. They are cruel hit pieces designed to injure people that only the worst rag would investigate and publish. I know you and your colleagues are always preaching about raising the level of civil discourse in our political campaigns. I think taking some your own medicine is in order here.

Ace continues:
The hell with his drug dealer. I want to know his babysitter was.

Or, actually, I already know.

I'd like to know why the NYT doesn't want to know.

Strike that -- I know the answer to that one, too.

Incidentally, why would the NYT attempt to reignite its discredited Vicky Isemann affair rumor now?

Gee, it's almost as if they know something might be on the horizon involving Obama.

Incidentally, if you haven't seen it yet, Ace has a great idea on
what to do about the media. I'm thinking I might contribute to this group if it ever gets started.

Disgusting murder is no problem

A husband who hacked his wife to death with a meat cleaver in fury over her Facebook entry was jailed for a minimum of 14 years at the Old Bailey today.

Wayne Forrester, 34, drank alcohol and took cocaine before driving 15 miles to the family home to attack wife Emma as she lay in bed.

The couple had separated four days before the murder in February and Forrester later told police he had been provoked by his wife changing her marital status to "single" on her Facebook entry, the court heard.

Forrester, a HGV driver, admitted murder in February this year in New Addington, near Croydon.

Emma was found in a pool of blood after neighbours were woken at 6.30am by her screams. Near her body was a large kitchen knife and in another room a blood-soaked meat cleaver. More here:

So he got a "minimum" of 14 years. I will never understand how you can hack someone to death with a meat clever and not end up in prison for life "MINIMUM."

I think these jackasses should die in the same way they killed their victim. I sure hope nothing along the same lines happens to some of the wives and daughters of these "lawmakers." GD incompetent morons.

All the time, I see these assholes getting "25 years to life" for violent and disgusting murders. Lame punishments and they don't even have to work while in prison. I know this was in England but it's the same stupid shit in the US. What the hell is the matter with our legislators that they allow this to go on even ONE MORE DAY?

Obama - Nay, to the National Anthem

LONDONDERRY – The Barack Obama train pulled into town yesterday at Mack's Apples.

Several thousand turned out for the rally, which featured an Obama fresh from Wednesday's debate with Republican opponent Sen. John McCain.

Not present, or at least not singing the National Anthem at the rally was Londonderry senior Zach Bencal.

Bencal, who sings the anthem for a number of school events and is actively involved in local community theatre, had been contacted by the Obama campaign to sing the anthem. He agreed to do so, then was told later in the evening the anthem had been scratched from the program. Bencal said he was told by the campaign the decision was a simple programming change to make room for another speaker.

"I guess it just wasn't meant to be," Bencal said.

Ha, that's what you get for showing up to sing the anthem at a communist rally anyway, jackass.

Thomas Jefferson's letter to his daughter

Jefferson 1791

Annapolis, Dec. 22, 1783

My Dear Patsy

I hoped before this to have received letters from you regularly and weekly by the post, and also to have had a letter to forward from you to one of your aunts as I desired in my letter of Nov. 28th. I am afraid you do not comply with my desires expressed in that letter. Your not writing to me every week is one instance, and your having never sent me any of your copies of Mr. Simitiere's drawing lessons is another. I shall be very much mortified and disappointed if you become inattentive to my wishes and particularly to the directions of that letter which I meant for your principal guide.

I omitted in that letter to advise you on the subject of dress, which I know you are a little apt to neglect. I do not wish you to be gayly clothed at this time of life, but that your wear should be fine of its kind. But above all things and at all times let your clothes be neat, whole, and properly put on. Do not fancy you must wear them till the dirt is visible to the eye. . .. Some ladies think they may. . . be loose and negligent of their dress in the morning. But be you, from the moment you rise till you go to bed, as cleanly and properly dressed as at the hours of dinner or tea.

A lady who has been seen as a sloven. . . in the morning, will never efface the impression she has made, with all the dress and pageantry she can afterwards involve herself in. Nothing is so disgusting to men as a want of cleanliness and delicacy in women. I hope, therefore, the moment you rise from bed, your first work will be to dress yourself in such style, as that you may be seen by any gentleman without his being able to discover a pin amiss, or any other circumstance of neatness wanting...

Present my compliments to . . . Mrs. Hopkinson whose health and happiness I have much at heart. I hope you are obedient and respectful to her in every circumstance and that your manners will be such as to engage her affections. I am my Dear Patsy, yours sincerely & affectionately,

Th. Jefferson"

Patsy's youngest son became Secretary of War for the Confederacy. At the end of the Civil War, he fled to Europe and died there in 1867.

How is Obama not a Marxist ?

This is just a pic.
The link to the video is at the bottom of the post.

Oh, lordy - Brutal. I found this at Hot Air.

What a beating she gave him. Now THIS is how the "regular" media interviews a Republican -- with one SMALL difference. She asks the question and then keeps her mouth shut and lets him answer. The usual lib jourrrrnalist would be interrupting all over the place and arguing instead of piping down and letting the candidate answer.

I love how the fuckstick gets a hard question and then asks "is this a joke?" I guess he's not used to being thrown some hardballs.

Anyway, she brings the heat to his raggedy ass and then keeps quiet. In my opinion, THIS is the kind of interview that shows total professionalism. Kudos to her.

Oh, and "we haven't given a penny to ACORN?" Okie Dokie, dumbass. We don't know any better, so we'll buy it ... NOT!

Here's the video of the interview.

A little more on the post above

WFTV-Channel 9's Barbara West conducted a satellite interview with Sen. Joe Biden on Thursday. A friend says it's some of the best entertainment he's seen recently. What do you think?

West wondered about Sen. Barack Obama's comment, to Joe the Plumber, about spreading the wealth. She quoted Karl Marx and asked how Obama isn't being a Marxist with the "spreading the wealth" comment.

"Are you joking?" said Biden, who is Obama's running mate. "No," West said.

West later asked Biden about his comments that Obama could be tested early on as president. She wondered if the Delaware senator was saying America's days as the world's leading power were over.

"I don't know who's writing your questions," Biden shot back. Hey, Biden, maybe the Klown wrote the questions, jackass. Just answer. You don't see Sarah Palin whining do you? She knows they try to make her look stupid. She knows they present it to the American people in a snide, condescending, manner -- and yet, she stands there and takes it like an adult ... but not you, right, Biden ... you fucktard.

Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife.

"This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election," wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.

McGinnis said the Biden cancellation was "a result of her husband's experience yesterday during the satellite interview with Barbara West."

Here's a link to the interview: http://www.wftv.com/video/17790025/index.html.

WFTV news director Bob Jordan said, "When you get a shot to ask these candidates, you want to make the most of it. They usually give you five minutes."

Jordan said political campaigns in general pick and choose the stations they like. And stations often pose softball questions during the satellite interviews.

"Mr. Biden didn't like the questions," Jordan said. "We choose not to ask softball questions."

Jordan added, "I'm crying foul on this one."

Yes, this is what happens to journalists who aren't liberal jackasses. If you don't conform to the liberal agenda (Democrats good, Republicans bad) then you're cut off -- you're finished -- got me? NON NEGOTIABLE!

It's perfectly Ok to ask hard questions of Republicans and attempt to make them look like fools, but try it with a Democrat and they cry and snivel wike wittle babies.

Waaaaaa Waaaaaa - she tried to make me answer tough questions. Waaaaa, it's not fair ... all the other media are helping carry my furniture to the White House but this one is mean .... waaaaaa.
Biden, you're a pussy. Not that we didn't already know that.

And, again, a lib reporter would have interrupted him and argued with him but she let him talk. She didn't make him go back and answer the question she asked when he sidestepped the question, she just moved on to the next question.

Now I have a question -- when are the Republicans going to start punishing the lib reporters? When are they going to say "No more interviews with Katie Couric, or Matt Lauer, etc?" Oh, and don't forget to make it NON NEGOTIABLE!

It just goes to show you how easily they fold when challenged. Taking back our government may not be as hard as I thought.

Lastly, nice job Barbara West, Bob Jordan and WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando. The Klown commends you.
