I'll bet none of the wealth spreading will be my way
The reason the Constitution stated what the States CAN'T do to you and what the Federal government CAN'T do to you because our founding fathers HATED too much government.
Just for the record, when you spread the wealth around, you dillute the incentive for the people who actually do most of the work and make most of the sacrifices required to be successful. Nobody wants to talk about it but redistribution of wealth is a way of enriching people whose main ambitions are to work as little as possible, fish/hunt/bowl/drink as much as possible and expend most of their energy in the workplace calling in sick. For some reason, he thinks these are the people who deserve the most help. Why? What have they done to deserve it?
Maybe he confused their need for help with their deserving it. People get exactly what they deserve either by action or inaction. Rather than holding them accountable for their shortcomings, he wants to enrich them.
