Catching Wild Pigs

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Professor noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back, and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a communist government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, 'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said this was no joke.

'You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs that are used to the free corn start to come through the gate to eat, and then you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America . The government keeps pushing us toward socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc, etc, etc. While we continue to lose our freedoms - just a little at a time.

One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free Lunch! Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

So, if you see that all of this wonderful government 'help' is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send this onto your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life then you will probably delete this , but God help you when the gate slams shut!

In this 'very important' election year, listen closely to what t he candidates are promising you - just maybe, you will be able to tell who is about to slam the gate on America .

'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have.' - Thomas Jefferson

Can you spot a pedophile?

Ever see a guy at work or school who sends off creepy vibes, and you say to yourself "man, I know that guy rapes children"? Some mental health doctors claim that there's no way to tell a pedophile apart from anyone else just by looks alone. Wrong. I scoured the FBI's most wanted list and found some examples that confirmed my theory. Here's what to look for:

Liberals love to ban stuff

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has made it official: California will be the first trans-fat free state in the nation.

All-natural palm, rice and soybean oils will soon be king, and life in the Golden State will be forever altered.

The California legislature pushed the bill through last week, and Schwarzenegger signed it into law Friday, July 25. More here:

Ok -- let me ask something. If this is such a good idea, why don't restaurants do it voluntarily and then use it to promote their business? They could put up "We don't use trans fats" signs or something. Then people could make their CHOICE.
The way it would be IF WE WE ENJOYED FREEDOM.

Why are the libs constantly "banning" stuff? Why are the libs always getting government involved in every little thing? It's the tyranny of the mob. And I don't need to remind you that the mob is full of morons.

He's right with the libs -- banning stuff left and right and yet, there his dumbass sits, in a SUV with a cigar. I love liberals controlling my life. It's lucky too, because I'm FAR too stupid to make any decisions on my own.

Remember these guys?

Found it at Buffalo Slayers:

Barack - Superstar

And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.

When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: “Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope?”

In the great Battles of Caucus and Primary he smote the conniving Hillary, wife of the deposed King Bill the Priapic and their barbarian hordes of Working Class Whites. The rest here:

Seriously -- read the rest of it -- it gets funnier and funnier.

I gotcher free speech right here

Memphis Police Director Larry Godwin and the city of Memphis have filed a lawsuit to learn who operates a blog harshly critical of Godwin and his department.

The lawsuit asks AOL to produce all information related to the identity of an e-mail address linked to MPD Enforcer 2.0, a blog popular with police officers that has been extremely critical of police leadership at 201 Poplar.

"In what could be a landmark case of privacy and the 1st Amendment," the anonymous bloggers write on the site, "Godwin has illegally used his position and the City of Memphis as a ram to ruin the Constitution of the United States.

"Some members of the Enforcer 2.0 have contacted their attorneys and we are in the process of filing a lawsuit against Larry and the City of Memphis. What's wrong Larry? The truth hurt?"

It wasn't clear if the lawsuit is aimed at shutting down the site or if it's part of an effort to stop leaks that might affect investigations.

Many of the documents in the case, filed in Chancery Court on July 10, have been sealed by Chancellor Kenny Armstrong. Police officials would not discuss the action, citing pending litigation.

Whatever the reason, Internet and free-speech advocates said they had serious problems with the city's actions.

"You can complain about the government, and you should be able to do that without fear of retaliation or threatening actions on the part of the people in these positions," said Lillie Coney, associate director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a Washington-based watchdog group. "I guess they've kind of annoyed them at some level, but you really don't want to see law enforcement or government resources spent in this way."

AOL has been ordered to turn over similar records in the past. More here:

LMAO - please vote for more liberals so this type of lawsuit never ends.

How to spot a dumbass

Recently, Wesley Clark (braying jackass above) was interviewed. He said the following about John McCain.

General Clark “I don’t think getting in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president.”

Politico's take on the Issue, "Clark said that McCain lacked the executive experience necessary to be president, calling him “untested and untried” on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” Yes, meanwhile Barack Obama has all the executive experience necessary, right, you dipstick?

Yes - because, you see, military service is no qualification for anything -- unless, of course, you're a Democrat. ESPECIALLY a Democrat who testifies against our troops -- cutting off ears -- razing villages in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan - etc etc -- THEN, CLARK GETS A HUGE HARDON.

So -- how did Clark feel about Kerry's military experience in the 2004 election?

Excerpts: The rest
here:
CLARK: War. War. I've been there. So has John Kerry.

CLARK: John Kerry has heard the thump of enemy mortars.

CLARK: He's seen the flash of the tracers. He's lived the values of service and sacrifice. In the Navy, as a prosecutor, as a senator, he proved his physical courage under fire. And he's proved his moral courage too.

CLARK: John Kerry fought a war, and I respect him for that.

CLARK: And John Kerry knows that members of our armed forces embody the best of America's values: service, sacrifice, courage, compassion.

CLARK: He knows that the members in the armed forces are serving to build something greater than themselves. They're serving to build something worth fighting for. They're serving to build something worth dying for.

Man - do ALL liberals have amnesia?

Now -- contrast Clark, the braying jackass, with John Kennedy.
John F. Kennedy, one of our “war hero presidents,” when asked how he earned this distinction said, “Somebody sunk my boat.”

Beer can handles? Sure.

There's this old Irish story about the bar full of drinkers holding their beer mugs like tumblers, with the handle unused and facing away from themselves. The visitor tries to explain what the handle is for, but is quickly corrected ... "we've not held them that way since August 17th 1922 when Murphy's handle broke off and he lost the whole mug-full".

The Zombie "pulls it off" again.

Yeah - one guy is giving a hummer and getting peed on at the same time. This is a street fair in San Franfreakshow (Was on July 27) -- it's called the "Up Your Alley" fair. Zombie did the usually awsesome job covering it. This pic is, what I would call, "upper echelon" as far as the weirdness goes; however, there are even more outrageous situations in the coverage.

Zombie has 2 versions of the coverage -- one is blurred (like the pic above) -- one is not blurred. Anyway, if you wanna see more of what the hell was going on there - click here and choose your version.

I love it when commies lose money

Here's some good news for anyone sick of being force-fed a relentless diet of pernicious environmentalist hogwash:

Last week, The New York Times noted that the advertising industry is pulling back from green-themed marketing, having "grasped the public's growing skepticism over ads with environmental messages.

And advertisers' concerns are buttressed by the recent sales figures for magazines that have published a "Green Issue" this year. Time's Earth Day issue was the newsweekly's third-lowest-selling issue of 2008 so far, according to ABC Rapid Report. A typical issue of Time sells 93,000 or so copies on the newsstand; the April 28 installment, which substituted green for red in the magazine's trademarked cover design, sold only 72,000. (As usual, The Onion
nailed it.)

Elle's May issue sold a mere 275,000 copies, versus the title's year-to-date average of 328,500. The last issue of Elle to sell that badly was in May 2008 — another green issue, probably not coincidentally.

Discover also published a green issue this year, and also took a hit for it, selling 86,000 newsstand copies, compared to an average of 117,000 in the first half of 2007.

Look for politicians to figure out sometime around 2012 that everyone stopped listening to bogus global warming sermons in 2008.

Ha ha -- CRAM IT, leftist jackasses.

T. Boone Pickens

Ok -- everybody knows that T. Boone Pickens has invested a kazillion curp into "alternative energy." Everyone has seen his new media campaign. Yes, he's trying to make money. Great -- more power to him.

But it cracks me up to see the libs pointing at him and saying "see ... see ... He says you can't drill your way out of it ... and he's an oil man."

But I keep thinking "ok, lib -- then shut up and let us drill -- that way, when we fail, you can say 'I told you so.'"
I wonder if the libs will still love him after this.

I mean, even the dipshit, Harry Reid, said (about Pickens) "here is a man who was my mortal enemy, he's my pal now." Of course, that was BEFORE this CNN video. Hey ... Harry ... is he still your pal, you DUMBASS?

Is Obama a Socialist or a Communist?

The latest skirmish in the presidential race is, of all things, whether John McCain called Barack Obama a socialist -- a label apparently equal to being tagged as a communist in times gone by.

The blow-up started when McCain was asked Thursday in Kansas City whether he believed Obama was an extremist. "His voting record … is more to the left than the announced socialist in the United States Senate, Bernie Sanders of Vermont," McCain replied, according to the Kansas City Star.

Asked whether he believes that Obama is a socialist, McCain answered, "I don’t know. All I know is his voting record, and that’s what people usually judge their elected representatives by." The rest here:

Uh -- hey -- jackass "jourrrrnalist" -- peeps who are left of socialists are communists. Take a gd class.

Also -- way to go, Vermont -- sending a gd socialist to the US congress. Eat some more syrup, morons. By the way, here's what the "announced socialist," Bernie Sanders (FROM VERMONT) looks like. LMAO @ "A Real Progressive."

Okie dokie - no problem
