Republicans to toss us under the bus

(CNSNews.com) - In his prepared text for a speech he is delivering today at the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, Sen. Rand Paul (R.-Ky.) said to illegal aliens who want to live and work in the United States: “We will find a place for you.”

Paul also said he envisions today’s illegal aliens becoming additional “taxpayers.”

“Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers,” said Paul. More here:

Yeah, ok ... I buy it.  Except, they probably already pay taxes since it comes right out of their checks.  Oh sure, some of them are paid "under the table" but my guess would be about 5% tops.

So what does that leave us?  Just the 5% and the rich illegal business owner ... prolly plenty of them too, right?

So I take it back ... I don't "buy it."  And that leaves me with a question:

Question: Why else would they (politicians) vote for amnesty?  Why would they continue to vote against securing our border against the tide of illegals?  Why would they persecute Sheriff Arpaio down in Phoenix?

Answer: Because they think they're buying votes. It's the only "logical" answer.

I love how they think they're going to get more votes by doing this. Your job matters NOTHING to them.  The future of your family doesn't faze them in the least.  All that matters is they get power ... period.
