Hey. Colorado, nice move, snatching some of your personal freedom back from the Feds

Gov. John Hickenlooper, right, poses with Ean Seeb, co-owner of Denver Relief, one of the state’s largest dispensaries, holding Cheetos and Goldfish, the two things Hickenlooper told marijuana users not to “bust out” too quickly in the wake of Amendment 64′s passage. DENVER — Go ahead and bust out the Cheetos and Goldfish, Colorado. Marijuana is now legal in the Centennial State.

“It formalizes the amendment as part of the state Constitution and makes legal the personal use, possession and limited home-growing of marijuana under Colorado law for adults 21 years of age and older,” the Governor’s office wrote in a press release.

That said, the release went on to say that that it is still illegal to buy or sell marijuana or to consume marijuana in public.

Right, because everything the government is involved in is the exact opposite of common sense.

It seems like nothing can just "be done" anymore without breaking some law or the other.  If there is some behavior out there that is still legal all the time, let me know.  It would be like finding something that isn't taxed at some level.

By the way, I didn't realize that stoners were all over the goldfish but it makes perfect sense ... I mean, after all,  who but a drunk/stoned person is going to eat them?  A person with burned taste buds?  That's not a very big market.  I like Cheetos though, especially the "Flamin' hot" ones.

Washington, the other state to pass the legalization of marijuana in November, officially made the practice legal last week. It could take a year, however, before rules are set for growing and selling pot. More here:

LOL ... "rules."

Again, they can't just "leave people alone."  No.  Instead the government has to involve itself in every level of every issue ... to ensure they make it more expensive and more of a bother and more of a clusterfuck.

And no matter how obviously incompetent they are at every turn, the sheep hardly bleat.

Now see, I don't smoke pot because it makes it so I canna think properly and I have a tough enough time with that already.  But I have no problem leaving other people alone as long as they aren't hurting others.  I guess I have special "leave peeps alone" powers.

However, it's just not acceptable for the government to leave you alone, period.  If they did that, think of all the buddies of the politicians that would be out of work.

This was the pic that accompanied the headline on The Drudge Report.

I noticed a couple of things about the pic.
1) What is the guy on the right holding?  Looks to be some sort of bellows.
2) I saw a duck head in the smoke - oh the right, above the bellows.
3) The guy is wearing a 49's jersey, soooo ....

Seriously, it looks to me like the guy is smoking through an upside-down/bottomless beer bottle while the other guy blows the smoke in with the bellows ... someone tell me, WHAT the hell is going on here?
