A new batch of 5,000 emails among scientists central to the assertion that humans are causing a global warming crisis were anonymously released to the public yesterday, igniting a new firestorm of controversy nearly two years to the day after similar emails ignited the Climategate scandal.

Three themes are emerging from the newly released emails:

(1) prominent scientists central to the global warming debate are taking measures to conceal rather than disseminate underlying data and discussions; 

(2) these scientists view global warming as a political “cause” rather than a balanced scientific inquiry and 

(3) many of these scientists frankly admit to each other that much of the science is weak and dependent on deliberate manipulation of facts and data.

Tsk, tsk, tsk ... who would have ever guessed?  I sure hope the US congress doesn't start having hearings on this, don't you?  Oh, no, no ... we wouldn't want these people punished at all, would we?  After all, the only thing they did was try to steal your liberty under the guise of their "science" ... but it was for your own good, doncha know.  I mean, so what if they lied ... their heart was in the right place.  

When you think about it, most of the tyrants throughout history were only acting in the people's interests, right?  I mean, when people are free, there's no telling what the idiots might do.  Ramming around ... making mistakes left and right ... let's face it, they need help and guidance from a benevolent hand ... yes, benevolent and powerful.

I wouldn't stop with them though, I'd want to punish those in congress who gave the go ahead to squander our money on this total crock of crap.
