Neil deGrasse Tyson is a perfect example of a super-genius. I say this not because he's smart- there are a lot of smart people out there. I say this because he can express complex ideas simply. I have met him and I was awestruck at the simplicity with which he explained ideas that had confused me for decades.
His best point is made at 32:53 when he says that blindly discounting something you don't understand is as lazy as blindly accepting it.
The interview starts at 6:30. I'd recommend watching the whole thing but do as you please.
