Zogby Polls

You know how the "news jourrrrrnalists" are always quoting polls?  And every day they're coming out with the results of some poll that are diam-ass-etrically opposed to common sense? 

Oh yes, they imply that "everyone else thinks this way and you should do, you dog-eared freak."  And you think to yourself "What a crock of shit ... who is dumb enough to buy this? ... how come nobody ever polls me or my friends?"

Well, here's your chance, weedhoppers ... sign up to take Zogby polls.  They send me about one a month and it takes about five minutes.  Some of the questions are a crackup ... "Do you consider yourself to be a NASCAR fan?"   "How often do you shop at Walmart?"  Gee, I wonder what the purpose of this is, don't you?  Surely they aren't trying to say that NASCAR fans & Walmart shoppers are both dumb and vote conservative ... or are they?

Gee, I wonder what effect that has on actual dumb people?  I'd hazard a guess and say it makes them reluctant to admit they are conservative ... or that they voted for a Republican.   This is the way polling (with the help of the media) influences the government and gets more votes for the "Democratics."  I mean, dumb people usually prove their intelligence by going along with the mob ... and we all know how smart mobs are in general ... especially mobs of geniuses who want to push you around.

If this doesn't absolutely convince you the polls are trying to influence (as opposed to measure) the political attitudes of Americans then nothing will.  Now, ask yourself, given that an idiot like Evil Klown can determine this, what are the chances that jourrrrrnalists would detect just such anomalies?  Given that the random genious jourrrrnalist would easily detect this foul play, what are the chances he would hide his findings?  Further, what are the chances he would report the discrepancies on the news and then hound the ever-loving-you-know-what out of the polling organization until they ceased the unethical behavior?

Yes, I think the chances are 100% that an ethical journalist who really wanted to inform his audience would report on this next-to-criminal misrepresentation.  But that's not what happens, is it?  If it weren't for me, would you even know about this kind of crap in polling?  Or would you just suspect (as you probably have all along) that polls are bullshit ... and that, in fact, you could probably assume that the results of any given "poll" is probably going to be 180 degrees opposed to common sense your views.

Do they ever tell you that the participants in these "polls" are about 75% Democratic geniuses and 15% Republicans, and 10% "Independents.?" (Ok, that's a slight exaggeration but you get the idea.)  Gee, I wonder why the media won't "disclose" that info.  Actually, I don't wonder.  The reason they don't disclose it is because then you might use your pea-brain to come to a different conclusion than they are trying to lead you to ... and we simply can't have that, now can we?

See, anyone can sign up for these polls ... and right now the "participants" are mostly your university professors and their students ... Greenpeace employees ... labor union members ... you get the idea. 

So ... if you're as sick of hearing bullshit poll results as I think you are, then go here and sign up to be a participant (and invite your friends.)  Of course, if we were successful in signing up a lot of conservatives to take polls, the media would just elect to ignore the results.  That's right, they'd just stop quoting the latest idiocy on their "reports" ... and that would be fine with me.
