There are SOME lines libs will not cross

Hey, you know those hacked emails that caused Climategate? Did you know those were "illegally obtained?" Oh, yes yes, they were. And do you know what that means? Why, that means a jourrrrnalist with any scruples would NEVER publish them ... that would be "wrong."

So there's this dumbass, Andrew Revkin, ... he's a global warming "reporter" at the New York Times. However, like most newspapers, they'll only "report" what they want you to know ... cuz they're "fair and balanced." So what does Revkin say about the content of the emails?

I have a story in the Times on the incident and its repercussions, which continue to unfold. But there's much more to explore, of course (including several references to me). The documents appear to have been acquired illegally and contain all manner of private information and statements that were never intended for the public eye, so they won't be posted here.

Yes, that sounds fair. After all, the NYT is FAR above publishing any ill-gotten material ... I mean, let's get serious here ... as they put their nose in the air and sniff at the thought of that kind of disgusting, low-down varmint reporting, right?

William Tucker at National Review says:

Yes, that and publishing classified material on their front page. It's nice to know there are lines the media will NOT cross ... unless ... and ONLY unless ... it serves their political purposes. I'm certainly comforted, aren't you?
