New breakfast dish

Local restaurants are now offering a new breakfast meal called "the Suleman":

You get eight eggs, no sausage, and the person sitting next to you has to pay the bill.
"Nation of Cowards"

Los Alamitos Mayor Dean Grose issued a statement Thursday saying he is sorry and will step down as mayor at Monday's City Council meeting.
Grose came under fire for sending the picture to what he called "a small group of friends." One of the recipients, a local businesswoman and city volunteer, publicly scolded the mayor for his actions.
Grose says he accepts that the e-mail was in poor taste and has affected his ability to lead the city. Grose said he didn't mean to offend anyone and claimed he was unaware of the racial stereotype linking black people with eating watermelons. From here:
Another White boy losing his job for implying something about black people ... namely, they like watermelons. Seriously, have you ever met anyone who didn't like watermelon? Oh sure, the seeds are a problem but that doesn't stop anyone I know.
Meanwhile, was this jackass living under a rock for the past 50 years? Does ANYONE believe that he was "unaware of the racial stereotype linking black people with eating watermelons." Just admit it, moron.
Hey ... anyone else want to say anything about black people? Anything at all? Anyone want to call Obama a chimp? It's OK to call whitey (Bush) a chimp but don't try it with Obama.
Now, what I really want to know is, why in the flaming, firing, fuck is it bad to be associated with liking watermelon? I like watermelon. I like fried chicken too, in fact, it's one of my favorites. I must conclude that anyone who goes along with this bullshit (hollering racism about watermelon/chicken) is a complete idiot and, if I could help it, I wouldn't be around them for one second longer than it took me to realize the fact.
Lastly, it no longer matters whether you "intended to offend" someone. It's enough that they were "offended." Just resign your job and get out. Oh, and as a side benefit, prepare for more and more people to be offended with less and less "provocation." Clint Eastwood agrees with the Klown.

London, February 27 (ANI): Acting legend Clint Eastwood , 79, apparently believes that political correctness has rendered modern society humourless, for he accuses younger generations of spending too much time trying to avoid being offensive. Hey, Eastwood, they're just trying not to lose their jobs or get thrown out of college. You're acting as if it's all their fault.
The Dirty Harry star insists that he should be able to tell harmless jokes about nationality without fearing that people may brand him "a racist".
"People have lost their sense of humour. In former times we constantly made jokes about different races. You can only tell them today with one hand over your mouth or you will be insulted as a racist," the Daily Express quoted him as saying. LMAO @ "look around before telling the joke."
"I find that ridiculous. In those earlier days every friendly clique had a 'Sam the Jew' or 'Jose the Mexican' - but we didn't think anything of it or have a racist thought. It was just normal that we made jokes based on our nationality or ethnicity. That was never a problem. I don't want to be politically correct. Again, it doesn't matter if you "had a racist thought." It only matters that you did something that offended someone else ... period.
We're all spending too much time and energy trying to be politically correct about everything," he added. From here:
When are you white folks going to learn ... just shut your coward mouths and roll over.

Conservatives=Right wing, Libs=Center
- On MSNBC, Chris Matthews predicted “we're going to hear a fairly right-wingspeech tonight,” from Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal in response to Obama, because “the only position left in America right now politically that he's left open is on the far right, and Bobby Jindal is headed for it,” along with Sarah Palin, since “Barack has grabbed the center with the charm he showed tonight in his excellent rhetoric.” (Excellent rhetoric=Unbaised jourrrrnalist comment)
- ABC's Charles Gibson, who like his broadcast network colleagues refrained from labeling Obama or his speech as liberal, introduced Jindal with an ideological tag: “He is a very conservative Republican and you'll hear that reflected, I think, in his remarks tonight.”
- On CBS, Katie Couric reacted to Obama's speech with some strange “cosmic”analogies, touting how Obama had succeeded in his effort to “really connect the dots, in a way, to explain to people that micro-cosmically this will help them, this is just not a national macro-cosmic plan for the economy.”
From Brent Baker at Newsbusters:
Huh? Cosmically? Shut up, Couric, you idiot.
I'm sure glad we have such honest and forthright people running the media aren't you? That way we can be sure we're getting fair coverage of all viewpoints. I especially like how there ARE such things as right-wing and very conservative but no such thing as liberal or left wing. Isn't that funny? Those right-wingers are always fighting the "centrists."
Torture worsens at Guantanamo
Abuses began to pick up in December after Obama was elected, human rights lawyer Ahmed Ghappour told Reuters. He cited beatings, the dislocation of limbs, spraying of pepper spray into closed cells, applying pepper spray to toilet paper and over-forcefeeding detainees who are on hunger strike.
"If one was to use one's imagination, (one) could say that these traumatized, and for lack of a better word barbaric, guards were just basically trying to get their kicks in right now for fear that they won't be able to later," he said. More here:
Oh really? Spraying pepper spray in their cells for no reason, huh? Sure, I believe it. Hey, any mention of the prisoners throwing feces and urine at the guards? No? I didn't think so, but thanks for the honest coverage of these incidinks, jackass.
Also I think the honest lawyers working for the terrorists deserve a lot of the credit for bringing this terrible abuse to the attention of honest and forthright jourrrrnalists.
Communist decries power grab
Sen. Robert Byrd (D-W.Va.), the longest-serving Democratic senator, is criticizing President Obama’s appointment of White House “czars” to oversee federal policy, saying these executive positions amount to a power grab by the executive branch.
In a letter to Obama on Wednesday, Byrd complained about Obama’s decision to create White House offices on health reform, urban affairs policy, and energy and climate change. Byrd said such positions “can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances. At the worst, White House staff have taken direction and control of programmatic areas that are the statutory responsibility of Senate-confirmed officials.” More here:
What? What's this? A communist grabbing power from other communists? A communist disregarding the founding documents of the country? Ohhhhh, woe is us. A real historical first. A bolt from the blue. Perhaps Byrd will start a movement within congress to stop this egregiousness. Hey, I know, we could name it after Byrd. He'd like that.
Backyard Scrabble Looks Fun

Now Scrabble games at the Crane house are a physical as well as mental pursuit. The players have to get out of their seats to place their tiles on the board and pick new ones from the selection spread out face down in the grass.

PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE

Being badgered to death buy some self-righteous poli-sci student on your way to work (massage parlor), is fucking annoying. Especially when you know he only signed up to get the free t-shirt.
It’s not that we don’t have time for the environment. It just happens this guy chooses the most irritating two seconds of our lives to assault us with his clipboard of doom. And in case you haven’t noticed, the environment is kinda screwed; it’s going to need a hell of a lot more than a couple seconds of our time.
So instead of saddling us with the guilt of walking out on Mother Nature, how about you and your patchouli oil go back to the commune. We’ll donate on our own time, but only after we make a contribution to your face.

remember "NO EARMARKS"
WASHINGTON NEWS
Obama To Sign Bill Despite Earmarks
White House aides indicated that President Obama will sign a $410 billion spending bill, even though it contains thousands of special projects or earmarks. The AP reports the White House "on Sunday downplayed massive deficit spending and President Barack Obama's pledge not to sign legislation laden with billions in earmarks amid Republican criticism that he was recanting on a key campaign promise."
The New York Times reports Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel "said Sunday that President Obama would sign a $410 billion spending bill that includes thousands of pet projects, known as earmarks, despite campaign promises to put an end to the practice." Republican leaders, "meanwhile, accused the president of breaking his promises to change Washington's ways."
Roll Call reports, "Tucked into the 2009 omnibus spending bill that Congress is now deliberating is a $3 million provision that is not identified as an earmark and has no sponsor's name attached, but it appears to be the legacy of Lee Hamilton (D-Ind.), a revered Member who left the House a decade ago." The provision "apparently has appeared in spending bills for so long that it has escaped the new requirements that the sponsors and beneficiaries of earmarks be disclosed, and even the recipients of the money could not explain how the language ended up in this year's spending bill."
Well I am just shocked
Oh oh - Lawyers are getting "standing"
Well, there have been a few of these suits but they've all been dismissed by the courts. The only thing I have to say is why doesn't Obama just release the birth certificate records? I mean, I've had to show my birth certificate before for a lot less important things than being PRESIFUCKINGDENT!
Having said that, I really don't care whether he was born in the US or not. It's not like he speaks with a foreign accent or something. Never the less, the Constitution is the Constitution and if you don't have to comply with it then why have it at all?
Commie rag biting dust
If it can't reduce expenses dramatically within the next few weeks, the Hearst Corp. said it will close or sell the Chronicle, northern California's largest newspaper with a paid weekday circulation of 339,430. More here:
Oh, that's such a shame. And it's ALL the fault of the dreaded internet, right? It has nothing to do with the constant stream of half-truths, misleading stories, and communist propaganda, in your "NEWSpaper." Die off, shithooks. You've contributed greatly to ruining America and I love watching you slowly die.
