Five girls (I think their ages are between 6-8 ?) sing the National Anthem at a Texas Tech basketball game. If this doesn't make you feel good then please move to another country.

My Friend Kevin sent me this in email.
English Russia
So I found this blog, "English Russia." The blogger is Russian but writes in English. Here's a sample. I read the first page and clicked for the second but it loaded an advertisement with no blog action. Anyway, I started clicking "back" and trying to find what happened. What I missed was the text that said "skip this ad." So if you go to the blog, be sure to pay attention.

Christian Dior is one of the most expensive luxury cloths brands. It is so now, and it was so 30 years ago too. But what have they done 30 years ago according to those LIFE photos was an organized trip to Russia for a group of model looking ladies wearing all-new Dior luxury stuff walking on the streets of Moscow.
Of course, as I understand the main purpose of this action was to shoot so cool-looking ads when the so expensive looking Dior models shot on the streets of the dully dressed Russian women, but what did those Russian ladies felt - they were for years deprived from any designer cloths. Not even they couldn’t buy the luxury expensive designers dress but they neither couldn’t buy ANY dress designed for someone else except a Communist Designers Company - those people there didn’t care much about design - they had no any competition - so the cloths available in Soviet stores was far away from being called stylish, and any, just any item which got inside the iron curtain from the abroad was treated as an icon, the pair of just simple blue levi jeans were just an unachievable dream for many Russian people at that times. And in such an atmosphere those girls were walking around the Moscow.

Democrats are helpless amnesia victims
Who caused the crisis that Dems now want to use as a pretext for $1 trillion in unaffordable left-wing pork:
Who defended/covered up the unfolding catastrophe:
Putting Democrats in positions of responsibility will always have consequences.

In response to your lie detector quiz
Yearly Exam
Went to the doctor for my yearly physical. The nurse starts with certain basics. 'How much do you weigh?' she asks. '135,' I say. The nurse puts me on the scale. It turns out my weight is 180. The nurse asks, 'Your height?' '5 foot 4,' I say. The nurse checks and sees that I only measure 5'2'. She then takes my blood pressure and tells me it is very high. 'Of course it's high!' I scream. 'When I came in here I was tall and slender! Now I'm short and fat!'
She put me on Prozac. What a bitch!
Survey says; Everyone is a bullshitter about themselves

Another piece of shit "Sex Offender"
A former Army sergeant's consensual sexual tryst with an adult female soldier has earned him the designation of "sex offender" in civilian life for the next 20 years.
The label is the result of a collision between military law that prohibits sexual activity between military personnel that involves alcohol - whether it is consensual or not - and New York state law that dictates any person who is convicted of a sex crime must be placed on the state's Sex Offender Registry.
Jason Fleming, 29, of 14141 Wilde Road, Sterling, was in Cayuga County Court to ask Judge Thomas Leone to waive his designation as a Level 1 offender - the lowest level.
Fleming was a sergeant in the Army and was court-martialed for having oral sex with a lower-ranking female soldier, said his lawyer, Michael Conroy.
Conroy said the sex was consensual and the woman was older than 21. The military law Fleming was convicted under considered the sex "forcible" because alcohol was involved.
"They simply had drinks, and she engaged in sex with Mr. Fleming," the lawyer said.
Consensual sex with an adult woman is not a crime under New York state law, so Fleming should not be on the registry, Conroy said.
District Attorney Jon Budelmann said the sex registry law states that if a person is convicted of a sex crime - even in another jurisdiction such as a military court-martial - the person must register and must be assigned a risk level.
The judge agreed.
"I feel some of your arguments are compelling," Leone told Conroy, "but I find no reason to depart from the instrument." More here:

Origin of terms
Ever wonder where the terms "Blue Dog" or "Yellow Dog" Democrat came from?
In the late 19th century and throughout the 20th century, Yellow Dog Democrats were voters in the U.S. Southern states who consistently voted for Democratic candidates. The term arose from the notion that loyal Southern Democrats would vote for a yellow dog before voting for a Republican. The term is now often used more generally to mean any Democrat who will vote the Party ticket under almost any circumstances.
The Blue Dogs are the political descendants of a now defunct Southern Democratic group known as the Boll Weevils, who played a critical role in the early 1980s by supporting President Ronald Reagan's tax cut plan. The Boll weevils, in turn, may be considered the descendants of the "states' rights" Democrats of the 1940's through 60's.
"Blue Dog Democrat" is derived from the term "Yellow Dog Democrat." Former Texas Democratic Rep. Pete Geren is credited for coining the term, explaining that the members had been "choked blue" by "extreme" Democrats from the left. The term is also a reference to the "Blue Dog" paintings of Cajun artist George Rodrigue of Lafayette, Louisiana. The original members of the coalition would regularly meet in the offices of Louisiana representatives Billy Tauzin and Jimmy Hayes, both of whom had Rodrigue's paintings on their walls. Tauzin and Hayes later switched to the Republican Party. The Blue Dog Coalition was formed in 1994 during the 104th Congress to give more conservative members from the Democratic party a unified voice.

Doomed to be haunted
You're overseeing a murder trial. The defendant will be hanged if his crime is judged to be both willful and premeditated. You poll the jurors:

A majority think it was willful, and a majority think it was premeditated, so you order the death penalty. As he's dragged off to the gallows, the defendant screams that this is unfair and swears that his ghost will return for revenge.
You think nothing more of this until that evening, when a strange thought occurs to you. If you'd simply asked the jurors, "Should this man receive the death penalty?", most would have voted no — only one of the three jurors believed that the crime was both willful and premeditated. Was your own reasoning unsound?
And who's that behind you — ?

Americans flee, hoping for better life

A rescue ship tows a boat carrying 76 (illegal) migrants aboard in Arona, on the Spanish Canary Island of Tenerife, Thursday Nov. 6, 2008, after it the intercepted while crossing over from Africa. (AP Photo/EFE, Manuel Lerida) More at The Big Picture:
Can you even IMAGINE the circumstances and hardship you would have to endure before you decided to undertake such dangerous journey in an overloaded rickety-assed boat like this?
Hey libs, if America sucks so bad, why aren't Americans fleeing to socialist/communist utopias? How come Cuba isn't deporting Americans that don't make it to Cuban soil? After all, their "system" is so fucking superior.

Super Bowl Ads
This was my favorite (of the ones I've seen.)
Did you miss any super Bowl Ads? Hulu has them all here.
The Klown fails miserably
Apparently, I don't watch as much of The Simpsons as I thought.
