They're not yet empanelled on the actual jury -- but they're in the pool of potential jurors.
A significant number of potential jurors in the Jose Padilla terrorism support case say they aren't sure who is responsible for the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks, many because they don't trust the news media or U.S. government pronouncements.
"There are too many ifs, too many things going on," one male juror said. "I don't know the whole story."

To be sure, most jurors without a Sept. 11 opinion are aware that the attacks have been blamed on terrorists of some sort. But many seem unwilling to believe the conclusion reached by the national Sept. 11 Commission and the Bush administration, widely reported by news media, that blames al-Qaida and its leader, Osama bin Laden.
One female juror agreed that was a "general public consensus" but still held out skepticism.
If Padilla gets off not because of insufficient evidence but because of OJ Jurors who are determined to acquit because they believe in fantastical conspiracy theroies, the blame can be laid at the feet of John Kerry, Howard Dean, Michael Moore and the rest of the crew pandering to conspiracy schizophrenics.

Dumpalink outs itself as a lefty commie pinko site
Here's the copy and screenshot of the video clip which is linked to livevideo.com. Here's the deal, in the video linked from dumpalink, most of the video is removed. What actually happened was that the woman got pulled over after passing the hospital. She told the officer that she needed to see her father because he was having a heart attack. Since she didn't announce herself as a doctor, there's no reason to believe that she was rushing to her father's side to provide medical attention.
Nevertheless, she was detained by a police officer and after providing him with her license and registration, she decided to leave the scene. She made it all of 200 yards before giving up and was promptly removed from her car, handcuffed and arrested- i.e. exactly what she deserved. However, the genius poster at dumpalink decides to birkie the facts when he states "...seriously-ill father. and an asshole cop arrested her. The deputy was later suspended, and all charges against her dropped." Of course, there's no proof of this but we can just take his word for it. This panicked woman was racing to the hospital to check on her seriously-ill father, and an asshole cop arrested her. The deputy was later suspended, and all charges against her dropped.
Once again, the birkies decide that the individual knows best and that laws were written for other people. These people fail to realize that when you get stopped by an officer of the law, you stop until he/she tells you it's ok to go/arrests you. You don't just drive away because you have something more important to do.

Burlington, Vermont has added the world’s primary outlet of slickly-produced jihad propaganda, Al Jazeera, to their city-owned cable television channel. The Boston Globe buried their report here.
A cable company is offering the Al-Jazeera network in its cable package, one of only a few in the nation to do so. Burlington Telecom, a city-owned cable company that serves 1,200 households in Vermont’s largest city, began offering the Arab-operated network about six months ago. “We were certainly squeamish about it at first, given its reputation in the United States,” said Tim Nulty, director of Burlington Telecom. “But if you look at it, it looks like BBC. I think it’s more mainstream and more objective than CNN.”

Inquest told of naked organist found in bag
A CHURCH organist, found dead in a huge plastic bag attached to a vacuum cleaner, was possibly carrying out a bizarre sex act, an inquest was told. Teesside Coroner's Court heard how Ian Kemp, 48, was found at home naked, with his hands and feet bound, inside the bag.
Coroner Michael Sheffield told an inquest there were no indications he had intended to die and that the vacuum had sucked all of the air out of the bag.
There were no suspicious circumstances but such incidents are sometimes connected to sexual gratification.
Mr Kemp, organist at Hardwick Baptist Church, in Stockton, was found by family friend Vivienne Brand on January 26. He had lived alone since the death of his mother.
Detective Inspector David Turnbull, of Cleveland Police, told the inquest he was called to Evenwood Close, Stockton, at 10.40pm that night.
He said: "I saw the body of a small naked man lying inside a large plastic bag in the foetal position."
Det Insp Turnbull said Mr Kemp's legs were tied at the shins by brown parcel tape and his wrists were tied together by a silver chain.
The court heard that the vacuum cleaner was attached to the plastic bag and was switched on when the body was found.
Home Office pathologist Dr Nigel Cooper gave the cause of death as suffocation.
He said: "I do not see how he could have been forced into that position."
Toxicology tests showed Mr Kemp had not taken any alcohol or drugs.
Mr Sheffield said: "There were no signs that he intended to end his life.
"It can be done for some form of sexual gratification, but it's not clear what Mr Kemp's intentions were." Mr Sheffield recorded an open verdict.
Minister Philip Tait said Mr Kemp had been a member of the church for 26 years.
He said: "He was a friendly man, a kindly man, always ready to give a helping hand."
He added: "He was a self-taught amateur, but one of the best church organists I have ever heard."
