Libs busy keeping their boots on the throat of evil

SPRINGFIELD -- The chairman and CEO of Peoria-based Caterpillar Inc. is raising the specter of moving the heavy equipment maker out of Illinois.

In a letter sent March 21 to Gov. Pat Quinn, Caterpillar chief executive officer Doug Oberhelman said officials in at least four other states have approached the company about relocating since Illinois raised its income tax in January. More here:

Well, here's the thing.  Liberals refuse to leave people alone.  They refuse to stop spending, preferring instead to raise your taxes.  You think Caterpillar is going to pay those taxes?  Think again.  They have to turn a profit and grow the company or their stock price will drop and they will go out of business .... just like ALL businesses that can't make a profit.

If Caterpillar decides to stay they'll have to raise prices.  If contractors have to pay more for their equipment, they have to charge YOU more for your construction.  Also, higher prices for their equipment makes their competitor's product more attractive.

If the state doesn't make a special "deal" for Caterpillar, they'll lose that company and the people (not just Caterpillar employees) will lose jobs.

The libs are really stuck here.  They have no morals so it'll be ok for them to make a special deal (the only people who don't get special deals are ... YOU.)  On the other hand, libs don't really give a flaming damn about you so, why should they make a special deal?  They're too busy proving how they've got their boots on the throat of evil corporations.  No, I predict they won't cut a deal and Caterpillar will leave.  I LOVE IT!!! KEEP VOTING FOR LIBS, DUMBASSES!

I ran a wedding video business on the side for about 20 years. Every time my yellow page ad went up in price or my taxes were raised or rent increased or supplies became more expensive, my asking price for a wedding simply went up in accord. Not rocket science. Just reality.
