The death of a modern newspaper is a real-time, multimedia event.
When journalists on the Rocky Mountain News were summoned to their Denver newsroom on February 26 to be told they were working on their final edition, they relayed the announcement through live blogs, online videos, slide shows of tearful colleagues and a minute-by-minute stream of updates on Twitter.
“It’s odd to cover your own funeral,” read one tweet. More about these dispicible lefty rags here:

See? This is EXACTLY why they failed. They think their failing is a "multi-media event." No. No it isn't. Nobody cares about you jackass jourrrrnalists. (Well, maybe the Communists Democrats/Liberals.)
These idiots think they are a big news story -- they need to let the American people KNOW about this horrid situation. You know, just like they've let us KNOW about global warming, political correctness, and how conservatives are so fucking stupid. Yes, they've let us know.
Their hubris and conceit is unmatched in the business world and it has been for many years. Of course, they used to be the only game in town -- not anymore, asshats. Goodbye, good riddance, burn in hell.
Thedecline change in America's values can be almost 100% attributed to the modern media and "objective jourrrrrnalists." The shift toward liberalism/socialism is part of the change.
They're finished because they refuse to address the real problem. They think the problem is "the internet" -- but the Klown thinks the problem is competition. Who would have turned to the internet for news if the internet just offered the same information as a newspaper?
I think a fair and balanced newspaper wouldn't have any trouble at all turning a profit -- but who wants to make a huge investment like that when they can turn it out much cheaper on the web? They can experiment cheaply and find an easily changeable (and scalable) business model that works.
I think the "newspapers" alienated theconservatives people that actually fucking read. Once they found an alternative, it was too late for the newspapers. The libs just lap up the pablum put out by the major networks on TV. College kids are trapped in the liberal bastion of academia. Once they get out, many of them wake up to another side of the story.
Anyway, see ya later, assholes. Thanks for all you did -- all your fair and honest reporting and accurate history lessons. Bye bye, now.
The Klown predicts the same will happen to the liberal TV media -- as soon as there is an alternative. Fox news is the closest we have for now -- but , if you ask me, they're still on the liberal side -- just not quite so far left as the others. Ok - /end rant.

And it's a "mystery" why they went out of business. Even the employees recognize the speed, ease and convenience of the online written word compared to print.
