Oh... great! Something NEW about which to worry.

In the crawl on the news this morning, I read something astonishing. "48 year old man in critical condition after being struck by a bulldozer".

"Struck"? How about "nudged"? Nevertheless, I googled it and got numerous results of numerous instances of people being "struck" by bulldozers. Who knows- maybe they were fat like Butterbean, fell over and could not get up and out of the way in time to avoid the 1.2 mph "collision".

NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a man is in critical condition after he was struck by a bulldozer at a Staten Island construction site.

And there are many, many more. All I can say to you all from the bottom of my heart is WATCH THE FUCK OUT FOR BULLDOZERS! EVEN THOUGH THEY APPEAR TO MOVE SLOWLY THEY ARE BY NO MEANS DOCILE. THEY CAN ATTACK WITHOUT NOTICE. THEY CAN LEAP OVER A 2X4 WITHOUT A RUNNING START. THEY CAN ACCELERATE TO A TOP SPEED OF 1.3 MPH IN SECONDS! BE SMART- KEEP YOUR DISTANCE!
