Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Thursday said the American economy is "in a recovery" despite the decline in the nation's gross domestic product (GDP).

Reid made the remark after Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) blamed the White House for the unexpected contraction in the economy. 

“[McConnell] continues bad mouthing the recovery,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “We are in a recovery.” More here:

Hey, Harry, I have a question ... if we're in a recovery, why do you find it necessary to say so? 

If we were "in a recovery," don't you think the economy would be getting better and the economic indicators (such as they are) would speak for themselves? 

Instead, the economy is in the toilet, the fed is pumping trillions, unemployment is rampant, and you buffoons are borrowing the dollar into a devaluation. "Recovery."  What a flaming democrat idiot.
