That's right, MSNBC has had the Tea Partiers analyzed by a "psychologist."
In this one article, Tea Partiers are equated to children with fantasies and compared to delusional psychotics and drug addicts.
In another article in the New York Times they are metaphored as vampires, cannibals, zombies, and the mechanical beast in "Alien."
Hey, dumbasses, I have another "analysis" for you ... try "They're sick and tired of our tyranny and they're coming to throw another crapload of our dumbasses out of office in November of 2012."
Have you noticed something in politics? One party wants the government tell you what kind of toilets to have in your house ... what kind of light bulbs to have ... what kind of car to drive ... whether to have fat, salt, sugar in your food ... and thinks there is absolutely no limit on what the government should be able to steal from your wallet. They want you to hate the rich and hate the big companies that provide jobs. Meanwhile, is it the rich and big companies that are telling me I can't have salt on the table in a restaurant? They want you to love government and the very people up there writing all the "laws" that interfere with your daily life.
The other party wants to leave you alone and take as little of your money as possible and restrict themselves to employing the "limited and enumerated" powers in the constitution.
And yet, the media loves the Democratics. They LOVE them. The media is constantly trashing conservatives who, again, just want to leave you alone. They trash the Tea Party, they trash Palin, they trash ANY CONSERVATIVE who looks like they might be gaining the slightest bit of popularity.
And yet ... here's the funniest part ... even after all their hystrionics, they got their asses kicked in a historic election in 2010. That's right, the only people that listened to the "BIG MEDIA" were their own little brainwashed dupe-nics, the communists. Seriously, isn't that funny ... all the effort they put into trashing the Tea Party didn't work at all ... and yet they continue the strategy. Please, by all means, continue.
Hey, I'll make another prediction ... even after they lose power (and this time I predict it will be for a long time ... finally ... if the Republicans don't go back to being themselves) they'll continue the strategy. This is because they are not capable of learning ... at all. They're far too smart to "learn." And I don't mind if they scream their heads off and call me all kinds of names ... as long as they can't order me around and steal my money (i.e. "leave me alone.")

The NYT article's last paragraph is a single sentence. "In other words, the president is going to need a bigger boat."

Oh- and you should have said "an historic vote".
A well known grammar rule says that we should use an before vowel sounds; for example, an accident, an item, an hour. We use a otherwise: a book, a hotel, a university.
Notice that we say an hour, not a hour. The choice of a or an is based upon the sound of the word, not the spelling. Hour sounds as if it starts with a vowel sound (ow); hence, we use an.
Following this rule, we would say a historic, not an historic because (for most speakers) historic doesn't start with a vowel sound.
