Media Headlines For Sheep -- Economic recovery!!!!

The federal government posted its largest monthly deficit in history in February at $223 billion, according to preliminary numbers the Congressional Budget Office released Monday morning.

That figure tops last February’s record of $220.9 billion, and marks the 29th straight month the government has run in the red — a modern record. The last time the federal government posted even a monthly surplus was September 2008, just before the financial collapse. More here:

(CNN) -- U.S. gasoline prices increased nearly 33 cents in two weeks, the second-biggest two-week jump in the history of the gasoline market, according to a new survey of filling stations.

The latest Lundberg Survey of cities in the continental United States was conducted Friday. It showed the national average for a price of self-serve unleaded gasoline at $3.51, an increase of 32.7 cents from the last survey two weeks earlier, survey publisher Trilby Lundberg said. More here:

Yes, if ONLY it weren't for this pesky gas price problem, the economic recovery would be well underway. Wild and unstable gas prices have nothing to do with supply and demand ... no ... it's ALL the fault of Libya ... some podunk slab of desert in Africa. Keep remembering that as Obama keeps blocking drilling and shutting down massive parts of the industry in the gulf.

Five to six dollars a gallon is a socialist's wet dream. And they haven't even started in on the Cap and Trade stuff, yet. Think food prices are high now? Wait until the liberals get through with us (as if they ever will). What we see unfolding is more of the utopia from the same geniuses who brought us low flush toilets, MTBE, and the EPA.
