Joe Arpaio would be my guy. We all know him, we all love him - I hope they keep voting for him.
The editorial board of The New York Times called Arpaio "America's Worst Sheriff".[HA!]
If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is.
Great show airing on the Discovery channel this week - my favorite line: convict food costs $0.50/day, guard dog food is $1.00/day. Joe Arpaio says "That's fair - the dogs didn't commit any crimes."

Pretty much all I need to know about a particular candidate is if the media (especially the NYT) hates them. That's usually a good enough reason for me to focus on them as a good possibility.
