WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's joke wasn't lost in translation—even though he referred to a Cinco de Mayo celebration as "Cinco de Cuatro."
"My accent's always been good," he said. "It's just that I only know 15 words."Obama jumbled his words as he welcomed guests to the White House to observe the Mexican holiday, sending the crowd into laughter before he referred to the day correctly.
"Welcome to Cinco de Cuatro—Cinco de Mayo at the White House," said Obama, in what appeared to be an attempt to note they were celebrating on the fourth of May instead of the fifth. More here:
That's funny, when Bush (or any conservative) made a mistake, it was because he's an idiot. When Obama makes a mistake, it's because he's so lovably human and cuddly.
Oh really? That's funny because, Bush-The-Idiot speaks a fair bit of Spanish. Did you know that? You didn't? I guess that's what makes it so hilarious. Don't worry though, if you ever got confused, the fair, balanced and honest media would be there to help you remember. The media can always be trusted to give you both sides of an issue.

You just don't get it. You really don't. If you're not in the "in crowd", you're so out you don't even know how out you are.
Here's a clip from "Pirates of Silicon Valley" that describes exactly what I'm talking about. It's long at 8:27 and the critical dialog is at the very end but I think it's something everyone should see. BTW, this movie is historically accurate.

It's not enough to be smarter, better or to have better character. There are some competitors (politicians) who are only out to win.
Of course, today, Microsoft is sucking wind and Apple is stronger than ever. We can only hope that the same thing happens to the Democrats. My hopes aren't high since their far more underhanded than Gates could ever be.
