Before you react so simplistically, maybe research and understand the reality of Somalia: a collapsed government, anarchy, economic chaos, hunger, and multi-nationals using the lack of any kind of controls to dump massive amounts of toxic waste off the coast to subsequently wash up and affect the people. What else can/would these poor bastards do but turn to piracy?
Ha ha - They HAVE to be pirates. No other choice. Poor "bastards."
What else could they do? How about not firing on people that were bringing them food?
