NY Gov Paterson finds cure to deficit

Adult download tax proposal awaits climax in Albany

This is the best tax you ever had.

A state proposal to add a 4% tax for downloading movies and music will also apply to Internet porn.

Gov. Paterson recently suggested the so-called iPod tax to help close a $15 billion budget deficit, but few realized the levy would also apply to XXX-rated material. More here:

See, this is what I love about idiot liberals. They never ever think of cutting the runaway massive government behemoth, nooooo ... instead, they MUST CONSTANTLY RAISE TAXES AND EXPAND GOVERNMENT. This is what they do and it's ALL THEY DO. Never mind their idiot "programs" never work. If their programs worked the welfare rolls would be cut in half by now but they're not ... they're growing and getting worse.

To liberals, "programs" are not to help the poor, they're to buy votes from morons, invent new government departments, and give their buddies jobs as the department czars.

But wait ... WAIT. He decided to give his staff raises ... in secret of course.

ALBANY - Gov. Paterson has secretly granted raises of as much as 46 percent to more than a dozen staffers at a time when he has asked 130,000 state workers to give up 3 percent pay hikes because of the state's fiscal crisis, The Post has learned.

The startling pay hikes, costing about $250,000 annually, were granted after the governor's "emergency" declaration in August of a looming fiscal crisis that required the state to cut spending and impose a "hard" hiring freeze. More here:

Man, the libs have all the answers ... just as long as THEY don't have to follow their own advice. Their recommendations aren't meant to apply to the elite (themselves.) Think, Al Gore, private jet.
