NAY, on the bailout

WASHINGTON - In a stunning vote that shocked the capital and worldwide markets, the House on Monday defeated a $700 billion emergency rescue for the nation's financial system, ignoring urgent warnings from President Bush and congressional leaders of both parties that the economy could nosedive without it. FYI, my representative voted against the bailout -- and he's a Democrat. He's OK for a Democrat though, he votes against amnesty etc.

Anyway, they say they're going to try again. Good luck, jackasses. I suppose you think a huge drop in the stock market will cause people to abandon their principles and change their votes.
