My rep/senators are good on this issue right now. I (and many others) had to fax Senator Burr quite a few times (and I recall being pissed) before he got the message, but he eventually got on board.

If you want to send your reps/senators a fax (or give them a call, etc) click here and then click on the "fax congress free" link -- it's small but it flashes red toward the top middle of the page.

This is the kind of thing that works with congress and this organization (Numbers USA) was largely credited with stopping amnesty -- TWICE.
