Senator Robert Byrd - West Virginia
Many folks are picking on Democrat Senator Chris Dodd's remarks on Democratic Senator Robert Byrd, former KKK member, that he would have been "right during the Civil War" and comparing them to the Lott comments. Of course, Dodd can say that the Byrd of today would have chosen the right side during the Civil War.Just last year, though, Byrd had an opportunity to make a choice. The Senator representing the Union state of West Virginia chose to suit up for the Confederacy.

Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd, Ex-Klansman
by Michelle Malkin (March 8, 2001)
Ex-Klansman Robert Byrd, the senior senator from West Virginia, casually used the phrase "white nigger" twice on national TV this weekend. Enraged civil rights groups organized a protest campaign against Sen. Byrd and demanded that he undergo sensitivity training ... not.
The ex-Klansman, you see, is a Democrat. Democrats can join hate groups and utter the ugliest racial slurs and get away with it because they are Democrats. They belong to the party of racial tolerance and understanding. They're paragons of virtue, and the rest of us are bigoted rubes.
The ex-Klansman showed his true colors when asked by Fox News Sunday morning talk show host Tony Snow about the state of race relations in America. Sen. Byrd warned: "There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of white niggers in my time. I'm going to use that word. We just need to work together to make our country a better country, and I'd just as soon quit talking about it so much."
Yes, I'll bet ... and wipe the pablum off your chin, jackass.

Yeah -- I think he's 87 years old and he's running for another term -- sheesh.

Go to WV and you will see all the buildings with his name on it. He extorts our tax dollars (from all the other states) to build shit in WV and the Westvirginians think he is great. That is part of the problem. Organized crime works the same way they funnel small amounts of money into their neighborhoods from their illegal activities and the neighborhood people think they are good. Dipshit does they same thing and the residents of WV are too greedy to want to think otherwise untill some other senator does the same thing in another state when they will be calling for his head for spending the fed dollars to further his election campaign. I would be embarrassed to have to admit I lived in a state where he was my senator.
What is that old saying "Fucketh not with the moron's for they are stupid creatures", but the Klown doth fucketh with the Moron's and I like it.
