Massachusetts libs thwarted by Republicans

State lawmakers overturned a controversial ban on school bake sales this afternoon after a fierce public outcry over school nutrition guidelines that also prohibited pizza, white bread and 2 percent milk.

“That is the stupidest thing I’ve seen in my career,” state Rep. Cory Atkins (D-Concord), moments after the House unanimously voted to ease the statewide cupcake crackdown. “Talk about hitting the nerve of government reaching far into people’s lives.”

Really?  You've been in government all this time and THIS is the stupidest thing you've ever heard?  What ... have you been asleep for the past 20 years?

State Rep. Brad Hill (R-Ipswich) offered the amendment, which leaves it up to local school committees whether to adopt the Department of Public Health rules, after hearing about an Ipswich school arts group that would have had to cancel bake-sale field trip fundraisers and fielding complaints from the local football Boosters concerned about their concession stands. More here:

I notice that no "Democratic" lawmaker stepped up to the plate to declare the emperor naked.  Are Democratics blind or something?  Oh, I almost forgot ... "Democratics" are the ones who pass idiotic crap like this ... they're the ones who appoint idiot "regulators/bureaucrats" who write rules like this.

Tsk tsk though ... an EVIL REPUBLICAN spotted this blatant abuse of freedom well-hidden nugget and pointed it out for all to see.  'Stupidest thing ever" ... yes.

Here's something else "stupid."  I'll bet the compendium of guys/gals who made/published this "rule" make over $75,000 per year.  My vision is of ten or fifteen of these self-righteous morons in a conference room all deciding what they were going to do to "earn" their salary ... and this is what they came up with.  Unreal.  Can you imagine it?  All "Democratics" to boot.

Hey ... Rep Brad Hill, why don't you introduce a bill to reduce that Dept of Public Health about 25%?  Looks like we can easily afford it.  Or, alternatively, find the people who were involved in writing this rule and reassign them to a job where they can learn a lesson about interfering in the lives of people who aren't harming them.

Obama sues the good guys and lets the bad guys go

Federal authorities said Wednesday that they plan to sue Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office over allegations of civil rights violations, including the racial profiling of Latinos.

The U.S. Justice Department has been seeking an agreement requiring Arpaio's office to train officers in how to make constitutional traffic stops, collect data on people arrested in traffic stops and reach out to Latinos to assure them that the department is there to also protect them.

Arpaio has denied the racial profiling allegations and has claimed that allowing a court monitor would mean that every policy decision would have to be cleared through an observer and would nullify his authority.

DOJ officials told a lawyer for Arpaio on April 3 that the lawman's refusal of a court-appointed monitor was a deal-breaker that would end settlement negotiations and result in a federal lawsuit. More here:

Yes, Obama and his "Justice Department" are busy suing regular Americans ... ESPECIALLY sheriffs who enforce the law. And why do they do this? Answer: Because they don't agree with the law he's enforcing. You know ... that old saw "protect our borders."

Obama and his ilk do NOT want to protect the border and they'll sue any state or sheriff that tries to protect their border. Obama ... blocks border enforcement (one of the few "enumerated powers" in the Constitution.) What does he do instead?  He blocks oil drilling, he blocks coal production, he blocks pipelines.

Meanwhile, he gives your money to his buddies in the "green energy" business, they bankrupt the company and leave as millionaires. Do they give your money back? Answer: No. Does Obama sue them? Answer: No.

Interesting, right?  Answer: Not if you're a bleating liberal sheep.

Obscure genius almost beats Obama

This image shows federal prisoner Keith Judd at the Beaumont Federal Correctional Institution in Beaumont, Texas in this March 15, 2008 file photo. The Beaumont Enterprise courtesy of Keith R. Judd/AP/File

In an embarrassment to President Obama, Federal Inmate No. 11593-051 – otherwise known as Keith Judd – won 10 counties and 41 percent of the vote in West Virginia’s Democratic presidential primary Tuesday.

Mr. Judd is incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas, where he is serving a 210-month sentence for extortion, according to The Charleston Gazette. Judd had paid the $2,500 filing fee and submitted a notarized “certificate of announcement” to appear on the ballot.

He is even qualified to have a delegate at the Democratic National Convention, because he won at least 15 percent of vote. However, no one has stepped forward to fill that role. But those are just details. The Republicans are having a field day with this slap at the president. Mr. Obama is deeply unpopular in West Virginia and was already certain to lose the small mountainous state in November.

But the fact that enough people bothered to turn out in an uncontested primary to register a protest against the incumbent is telling.

“Just how unpopular does someone have to be for this to happen?” says Joe Pounder, research director and deputy communications director at the Republican National Committee, in a statement.

West Virginia’s Democratic governor, Earl Ray Tomblin, has also not revealed his vote. Energy is a big issue in his state – America’s second-biggest producer of coal – and the Environmental Protection Agency’s handling of mining-related permits has angered the local industry, writes the Associated Press. More here:

Are people starting to wise up.   Or are they just getting tired of their own EPA (unelected bureaucrats) kicking them in the balls?  I don't know ... tough call.

Ha, North Carolina geniuses put a hurtin' on those homos

North Carolinians voted to change the state constitution Tuesday to say that the only valid "domestic legal partnership" in the state is marriage between a man and a woman. The amendment passed 61 to 39 percent, making North Carolina the 29th state with a gay marriage ban in its constitution.

The state already outlawed gay marriage, but the constitutional amendment makes it more difficult for politicians to ever change the law. The amendment also means that a handful of North Carolina municipalities that extended benefits to the domestic partners of their employees will no longer be able to do so, since marriage is now the only valid legal partnership in the state.

You know what? I love being able to vote on whether others should have the same rights as I.

That's right ... the majority should decide everything, right?  51% of people should be able to tell the other 49% how to behave. Yes ... WE'LL be deciding what you can do and what you can't do ... and tough shit if you don't agree. And never mind the equal protection clause ... that's nothing ... just shut up, we're VOTING over here.

You know you've lost your freedom when other people can tell you how to behave even when your behavior isn't hurting them (or others.)

Anyway, how embarrassing for North Carolina.  Do you think this will last very long?  Didn't the majority once deny others the freedom to marry outside of their race?  Why yes, I think they did.  But did that embarrassing episode teach the braying masses a damn thing?  Answer: No.

Let's face it ... idiot liberals many people spend all their waking time thinking how great the world would be if everyone had to do as they said.  And as often as possible they will shove their ideas down your throat and they'll jail you if you dare to disobey ... after all, it's for the good of society ... Hee haw ... HeE HaW ... EEEE-AWWWWWW EEEEE_AWWWWWWW.

Cher ... she's known far and wide for her critical thinking skills

Yes, Cher ... the Republicans hate the sick and all the children too (especially sick children.)  They care NOTHING about them ... you're so right.  And did you think of this all on your own?  Because it just makes so much sense ... so profound.

How does it feel to be such a genius?  Found it here:

Libs -- busy with the banning

This month, the Los Angeles city council is expected to ban single-use plastic bags. “[T]he ban is an attempt by the city to reduce litter,” says the Los Angeles Daily News. But it is likely to reduce something else: jobs.

“[A] city ban could prompt the layoff of between 20 and 130 employees” at Crown Poly, a plastic bag manufacturer in L.A., according to the Los Angeles Times. Hundreds more could be at risk in the city. More (with video) at the Weekly Standard:

"Single use" plastic bags.  Right, because nobody uses these for anything else - like lining the trash cans in bathrooms etc. Nope, now you get to PAY for small can liners.  I guess they can't be recycled either, right?

Does this mean we get to start cutting down trees now so we can make paper bags?  No?  What about paper bags ... do they make litter?  Such powerful reasoning ... great thinkers.

THEY'RE BANNED -- LMAO -- Keep voting for idiot libs Democratics.  And go pay for some "reusable grocery bags."  Hey, it's for your own good, jackass.

And finally, how long do you think that Crown Poly will keep their business based in Los Angeles?  If they don't move their company, they'll get exactly what they deserve from the idiot-liberals tyrants.

Ruthless electricity claims another victim

SAN BERNARDINO (CBS) — A would-be copper thief was gravely injured early Saturday morning when he attempted to steal copper wiring from a live Edison vault, according to authorities.

Witnesses told CBS2 and KCAL9 reporter Melissa Maynarich that the man could be heard screaming in agony.

Jeff Grammatico was across the street from the substation when he said, “I heard a boom.” He added, “It made me jump from one side of the room to the other.”

He ran to the fence and saw a man burning alive. “It was scary. I was trying to cut the gate to get in. It was horrifying to watch him burn.”

Grammatico says he ran back to his home to get a fire extinguisher while another passerby called 911.

“He kept standing and screaming, screaming, screaming. And I couldn’t get in. I had a fire extinguisher. But he wouldn’t come over. But he started to roll.”

Officials say the suspect is “extremely grave” and that it’s likely he was burned by 33,000 volts of electricity. More at cbslocal:

The Klown always feels sorry for the poor victims of ruthless electricity. There probably weren't enough 'danger" signs posted and this is what resulted in this most unfortunate "accidink."  He should probably sue and collect his just compensation from the town rubes.

British police solve racism

POLICE chiefs have banned IT staff from using the word blacklist over fears it is RACIST.

The computer term whitelist — used to denote a list of acceptable contacts — has also been outlawed.
In an email, Scotland Yard warned staff the words were no longer “appropriate”. More at The Sun:

Whew.  For too long now these offensive racist terms have been used with abandon ... but NO MORE ... thanks to brave and alert policemen.

Whatever would society do without geniuses like this ... constantly on the lookout for serious offenses like this?  The Klown wants to immediately fire congratulate the braying jackass genius behind this initiative.

It just goes to show you, no amount of stupidity will be questioned as long as you say "I'm fighting racism" while you're being stupid.  I said NO AMOUNT.

Lib puts her genius on public display

While delivering remarks outside of a New York City firehouse with former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was heckled by a woman yelling, "Mitt Romney, you're a racist!" nearly a dozen times.

The woman also hurled several expletives at the presidential hopeful, including "Fuck you, Mitt Romney!" There's even a video of the idiocy at Real Clear Politics:

This is the bleating thoughtful efforts of the left ... the universal and visceral socialist reaction to people who want to keep their freedom.

Notice how dutifully she bleats spouts what the media tells her to spout.

Gotta love that "racist" term. They never tire of using it.  In addition to its accepted profundity, libs think it's very versatile so they bleat it apply it in any situation without hesitation.  This is to help you recognize how smart (and "with it") they are.

For Scot, or, Why of All the Rotten Luck.

I agree with Scot and his comment, "Who reads the fucking article when "Berkeley Bicyclist Hit by Car" is on the top of the video thing? I don't care about bicyclists. I don't care who did it or where it occurred or if the guy lived. I just want to see someone on a bike get hit by a car. To make me wait into my old age to see it is criminal. To expect me to digest some stupid text telling me how far up to move the video thing to see the good part is moreso." [sic] And on that note, some good clean fun at the expense of others. And by "others", I mean "idiots".

And if that wasn't enough. Here's a video more on point with what Scot's looking for. No need to cue up to the action either. Evidently, these were bicyclist protestors making their point by tying up traffic. Their movement is known as "Critical Mass". It's probably just a coincidence that their philosophy is in line with Fascism which believes in "strength in numbers". Sometimes, numbers are not enough- you also need strength. When you're jamming your rights down the throats of others, that is.

Their plan held together right up until someone got tired of having his rights infringed upon.

Good news for fatties but don't worry, the government will stop you

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Some North Texas researchers believe they have found a way to control obesity by manipulating molecules in the heart.

Researchers at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas have demonstrated, for the first time, that the heart can regulate energy balance.

“We discovered a protein that’s expressed in the heart, it’s a protein called MED 13, and it turns out that this protein regulates metabolism in the whole body,” explained Dr. Eric Olson, chairman of molecular biology at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Olson said researchers fed mice a high-fat diet, then ‘turned on’ the protein and were genuinely surprised.

“Of course we went back and said ‘wait a minute we better check this again’ and have done it many times,” Olson said, “It was really unexpected. We didn’t go into this looking for a way to treat obesity, it just was a serendipitous observation.”

Of the test Dr. Olson said researchers learned, “We can make them resistant to obesity,” but that wasn’t all,
“We can also treat many of the other aspects of abnormal metabolism like the struggle to lower cholesterol and improve glucose handling in these animals.”

Researchers said despite their high-fat diet the mice stayed lean as long as the protein was ‘activated’. When the protein was removed the mice become obese.

Olson said they’re now using the protein to develop an obesity drug that might also be used to combat high cholesterol and Type 2 Diabetes. But researchers say that drug is still a long way from even being tested in humans. From cbslocal:

Wait, what's that?  "The drug is still a long way from even being tested on humans?" And why would that be?  Because the government has to pay a bunch of bureauweenies to test it first. Oh whatever did we do before we had the FDA?

Anyway, luckily they test them thoroughly because, if they didn't, do you know what might happen?  Yes, you'd see a commercial on tv every five minutes for some law firm trying to get you to join their lawsuit against a drug maker.  And do you have any IDEA know how irritating that would be?   Oh ... wait..

Never mind the increased cost you pay in inflated health care costs so these companies can afford the ever increasing medical malpractice insurance. I love how the lawyers extract money from you through your insurance and your health care provider.  Keep voting for Democratics.

What's this? The Klown agrees with a government agency?

In a move that could help the government trim its burgeoning health care costs, the Food and Drug Administration may soon permit Americans to obtain some drugs used to treat conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes without obtaining a prescription.

The FDA says over-the-counter distribution would let patients get drugs for many common conditions without the time and expense of visiting a doctor, but medical providers call the change medically unsound and note that it also may mean that insurance no longer will pay for the drugs.

“The problem is medicine is just not that simple,” said Dr. Matthew Mintz, an internist at George Washington University Hospital. “You can’t just follow rules and weigh all the pros and cons. It needs to be individualized.” More at the Washington Times:

Well, you heard him ... "Medicine is just not that simple."  In other words, you people are just too stupid to renew your prescriptions without paying a doctor a doctor's permission every three months or so.  Oh yes, yes, buying the same medicine as before is far to complex for morons the American people to manage on their own.

I wonder why he could be against the government removing its hobnail boot from your throat on this one this perfectly logical and reasonable path of action?  Hmmmmm, it's a mystery, ain't it?

Democrats, socialists, communists ... they want you to love them ... it's CRUCIAL

The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.

LOL, right ... he didn't look into "history."  He's totally unaware of the connection.  God, that guy is so dumb, am I right?  Hey, I'll bet he changes the slogan etc as soon as he finds out because, my ... how embarrassing ... people might think he's a communist.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."

"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word "Forward" with the "O" having the familiar Obama logo from 2008. It will be played at rallies this weekend that mark the Obama re-election campaign's official beginning. More at the Washington Times:

How about the communist "news" network, MSNBC?  What's their slogan? Notice the "lean forward" underneath.  You think that's an accident?  Yes, about as much of an accident as Obama choosing the word.
Also notice the word "progress," also associated with communist/socialist movements the world over.  They started calling themselves call themselves "Progressives" after socialism and communism were discredited.  That fools a lot of peeps because "progress" ... who could be against that?

And once you declare yourself as supporting a word like "progressive" you have to stick with it no matter what.  It would be embarrassing to have to admit you were duped.  And might be even worse admitting it to yourself. That's why I call them "Dupeniks" ... because their self image is more important than the truth.

Here's what I think of their logo.
