Idiot libs

When Long Island filmmaker Ellen Cooperman divorced her husband in 1975, she changed her last name to Cooperperson because it “more properly reflects [my] sense of human equality than does the name Cooperman.”

State Supreme Court Justice John Scileppi refused to ratify the change, saying that it “would have serious and undesirable repercussions, perhaps throughout the entire country.”

He cited “virtually endless and increasingly inane” possibilities: A person named “Jackson” might seek to become “Jackchild,” a “Manning” might prefer “Peopling,” or a woman named “Carmen” might want to be “Carperson.” “This would truly be in the realm of nonsense,” he said.

Undaunted, she appealed Scileppi’s decision and won in 1978. She’s still using Cooperperson today. Found it at the Futility Closet.

Idiot libs make great "referees"

A Dutch football match ended in farce after one of the teams walked off the pitch in protest at having their goalkeeper sent off - for fighting with a fan.

A drunk hooligan ran on to the field to attack AZ Alkmaar's No.1 during the first half of their Cup match with former European champions Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena last night.

But Costa Rican Esteban Alvarado showed all his agility as he launched a kung fu kick at the teenage thug, sending him crashing to the floor.

The Alkmaar keeper then landed a couple of kicks at the prostrate fan before security guards dragged the invader away.

Referee Bas Nijhuis astonished the away side, however, by red-carding the goalkeeper. Alkmaar coach Gertjan Verbeek then ordered his side to walk off in protest. Nijhuis said: 'I understand that Esteban was defending himself, but he walked to him (the supporter) and kicked him multiple times. He could also have walked away.' More (with video) here

Yes, because you're supposed to walk away, let the soccer hooligan get up and attack you again. Don't you know ANYTHING? Sheesh.

Yes its never my fault

Dumbest employees of 2011

There's no shortage of consumers who love the tasty sandwiches served up by fast-food chain Chick-fil-A. But a recent incident in Southern California showed poor taste on the part of a cashier who mocked two Asian customers.

According to the Los Angeles Times, rather than typing the consumers' actual names, the employee instead noted their names as "Ching" and "Chong" on the receipts. Photos of the receipts were posted on a Tumblr account belonging to University of California, Irvine, student Kelvin Lee, a friend of the customers. The post then spread through the blogosphere, attracting more negative attention to the Atlanta-based company, which is already under fire by some groups for its openly Christian roots and connection to conservative stances, the Times notes. More here

OK, first of all, it's not "Ching and Chong" it's "Cheech and Chong." Sheesh.   If you read the article you'll find that Kelvin Lee (the friend of the customers) is very smart, reasonable, and practical about the whole thing ... i.e. obviously not an idiot-lib.

Secondly, "under fire for being openly Christian???" What does that mean? Are these groups "under fire" for being openly stupid? Is the Times "under fire" for including stupidity such as this in their "objective reports?"

I love how they include "the Times notes."  Yes, they "note" it to help you learn ... you know ... so you'll have all the relevant AND irrelevant facts.  The Times would never want you to go without knowing the WHOLE STORY, right, Times?

"Openly Christian." Unreal.

OK, you can read the rest of the dumbest employee shenanigans here:

Matt Damon -- the genius -- you should do as he says

Matt Damon rips President Obama in Elle magazine, blasting his leadership qualities and saying he’d prefer “a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done.”

The actor, a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party and onetime Obama advocate, reveals frustration with the administration in his wide-ranging interview. “I’ve talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level,” says Damon. “One of them said to me, ‘Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician.’”

Damon then gets even more direct with his own criticism.

“You know, a one-term president with some balls who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of this country, much better,” argues the We Bought a Zoo star. More here:

Oh, pipe down, you canned ham.

This is what I love about libs ... they think the government should be "doing stuff ... getting stuff done."  And why do they think this way?  Because the media tells them to, that's why?  They don't even stop to think that maybe it isn't the government's business to be "doing stuff."  They think if the government isn't "doing stuff" then it's somehow a bad thing.

Meanwhile, who, in their right mind, wants 536 morons in Washington DC "doing stuff?"  I want them to stick to defending my life, liberty, and property ... not taking it away with every little "rule" they dream up.  And what do you mean they aren't "doing stuff?"  Here's a graph of government rules/regulations ... i.e. "doing stuff."

Do you think compliance with these "rules" is free?  Do you think it costs business nothing to implement these "rules?"  Or do you realize it's actually a hidden tax ... built into the cost of everything you buy?

That's right, they "take" your private property (money you worked for.)  Remind you of anything?  What is it called when someone makes you work for free? Or in this case, makes you work for whatever they think is "fair" ... and above that they have at your cash in a way that would make Blackbeard proud.

So, here's the call, "Matt" ... you and people like you can go to hell.  You have no right telling me to adopt your thinking ... such as it is.  I don't care what you think, I don't want anything from you, I want you to leave me alone ... get it?  Now, cram it up your ass.

What's this now? The Klown agrees with Hugo Chavez?

It seems that Hugo Chavez recent offered some sage advice to presdink Owe-bama.

Chávez’s comments came in the wake of Obama’s Monday written interview with the Caracas paper El Universal, where the U.S. president questioned Venezuela’s connections to those countries. Chávez hit back strongly at Obama on state TV Monday, according to The Guardian, saying the president gave the interview only to “win votes” in the 2012 election.

“Mr. Obama decided to attack us,” Chávez said. “Now you want to win votes by attacking Venezuela. Don’t be irresponsible. You are a clown, a clown. Leave us in peace … Go after your votes by fulfilling that which you promised your people.”

“Focus on governing your country, which you’ve turned into a disaster,” Chávez said, according to The Guardian. More here:

What's that you said there, Chavez?  "Mind your own business?" ... "Leave us in peace?"

LMAO, Chavez ... you, of all people, should know that libs cannot "leave people alone."   It's just not in their nature.  You have to understand ... libs are geniuses and as such, they need to tell others how to live their lives.  Yes, and they need to determine who the witches are as well.

Interesting charts on the increase in regulations

Woops, killed ya ... sorry 'bout that

FREDERICKSBURG, Ohio (AP) -- A man cleaning his muzzle-loading rifle shot the gun into the air, accidentally killing a 15-year-old Amish girl driving a horse-drawn buggy more than a mile away, a sheriff said Tuesday.

Rachel Yoder was shot in the head Thursday night while traveling to her home in Wayne County, between Columbus and Akron. She had attended a Christmas party for employees, most of them under 18 years old, at an Amish produce farm and was riding home alone when she was shot, Wayne County sheriff's Capt. Douglas Hunter said.

The horse continued to cart the girl after she was shot, and she fell out of the buggy near her home, Holmes County Sheriff Timothy Zimmerly said. Her brother found her after he saw the horse walking in circles and went to check it. Authorities initially believed she had fallen out of the buggy and hit her head until a hospital test revealed the gunshot wound.

Hunter said his department traced a trail of blood along the road for about three-eighths of a mile into Holmes County in an area of farms and rolling hills.

Zimmerly said the gun-cleaner's family came forward and his neighbors reported hearing a shot at about the time the girl was wounded.

The man had fired the gun in the air about 1.5 miles from where Yoder was shot, Zimmerly said. State investigators were checking the rifle for a ballistics match, he said.

"In all probability, it looks like an accidental shooting," Zimmerly said.

No charges have been filed. More here:

Excuse me?  No charges have been filed?  Someone's careless and irresponsible action led to the death of another person and "no charges have been filed?"  Because why?  Because "I didn't mean to?"

As far as I'm concerned they can take that reckless asshole and jail him for the rest of his life.  Anyone who would take such a chance ... recklessly risking the LIVES of other people, needs to be in jail and watched over like the idiot he is ... for life.  People like that don't "learn lessons."  Otherwise the little girl wouldn't be DEAD right now.

Oh woe is us ... if only we had more gun laws to prevent tragedies such as this.

How would it be if you could talk to ghosts?

The government SQUANDERS your hard earned money

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) today released a new oversight report, “Wastebook 2011” that highlights over $6.5 billion in examples of some of the most egregious ways your taxpayer dollars were wasted. This report details 100 of the countless unnecessary, duplicative and low-priority projects spread throughout the federal government.

Examples of wasteful spending highlighted in “Wastebook 2011” include:
• $75,000 to promote awareness about the role Michigan plays in producing Christmas trees & poinsettias.
• $15.3 million for one of the infamous Bridges to Nowhere in Alaska.
• $113,227 for video game preservation center in New York.
• $550,000 for a documentary about how rock music contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union.
• $48,700 for 2nd annual Hawaii Chocolate Festival, to promote Hawaii’s chocolate industry.
• $350,000 to support an International Art Exhibition in Venice, Italy.
• $10 million for a remake of “Sesame Street” for Pakistan.
• $35 million allocated for political party conventions in 2012.
• $765,828 to subsidize “pancakes for yuppies” in the nation’s capital.
• $764,825 to study how college students use mobile devices for social networking.

The part I like best? The way the government expects you to pay for whatever the hell they want. You go to work and earn money ... they steal whatever they want and give it to their buddies ... meanwhile running up the debt with no concerns WHAT-so-ever ... because, screw you, jackass ... what are you gonna do about it?

Oh, and no way they can find anything to cut ... nope ... everything has been cut to the bone ... gonna have to increase taxes. Only on the evil rich though ... and don't worry ... when we raise taxes on evil Walmart corporations, they won't pass the tax along to you in increased prices ... no way they would do that ... would they?

How fast are you

Condi for VP??

America’s first black female secretary of state is quietly positioning herself to be the top choice of the eventual Republican presidential nominee, ready to deliver bona fide foreign-policy credentials lacking among the candidates. The 56-year-old has recently raised her profile, releasing her memoir in November and embarking on a monthlong book tour.

After 2 1/2 years as a professor at Stanford, Miss Rice is reportedly getting “antsy” to get back into the political game. “She’s ready to go,” said one top source.

Ready indeed. She still rises at 5:30 a.m. and runs through a vigorous P90X workout. (Her guns are now a match for those of first lady Michelle Obama.) Sure, she’s been playing a lot of golf, and no doubt banging on the piano (sometimes with cellist Yo-Yo Ma), but she’s clearly ready for more.

Her addition to the ticket, which wouldn’t come until late next summer, would dramatically change the dynamics of the 2012 election. As a black woman - her family has roots in the Deep South stretching back to before Civil War era, and worked as sharecroppers after emancipation - she would mute Democrats’ charges of racism among conservatives, especially tea party members. And her sex would likely prompt moderate women to take a serious look at the Republican ticket. More here:

Ok, the thing that prompted this blog post was the sentence containing "she would mute Democrats’ charges of racism among conservatives, especially tea party members."

Um, speaking for myself, I couldn't care less what names idiot-libs call me.  They like to call conservatives racists and morons etc ... but really, who cares anymore.  Just sounds like the morose bleating of sheep to me.  They've done it for so long it has become tiresome and weak.

As for my thoughts on Condoleeza Rice, I used to think she was awesome ... until I heard some liberal expressions come out of her.  Of course, she always does it in a thoughtful manner which sometimes puts me off guard ... but I always come to my senses eventually.  Anyway, I'll keep an open mind on her ... but she has something to prove before I'll give my support.  For example, I need to hear her say things like:

"REDUCE THE SIZE/IMPACT OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT."
"ENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAW"
"TORT REFORM"
"REFORM THE RIDICULOUSLY COMPLEX TAX CODE"
"BALANCE THE GD BUDGET"

Is that too much to ask?  Or am I a a racist?  Seriously, ask me if I care about ... wait, I see a sandwich, brb.

New business opportunity

Why didn't the Government think of this?

A friend of mine just started his own business in Afghanistan .
He's making land mines that look like prayer mats.
It's doing well!
He says prophets are going through the roof.

A terrible shame

MIAMI GARDENS (CBS4) – A thief apparently looking to steal copper from equipment on the roof of a Miami-Dade school fell more than two stories, a debilitating plunge that left him unable to walk, apparently with a broken hip or leg.

The hapless Spiderman was captured by security cameras at Charles Wyche Elementary School in Miami Gardens.  He arrives, wearing a ski mask, and begins to arrange ropes he’s carrying for a climb up the outside wall of the school to the roof, more than two stories above.   Moments later a second camera angle shows the man falling to the ground – a drop of more than 25 feet – where he begins to writhe in pain.  The intruder dragged himself out on to a walkway and attempted to stand up, but immediately fell back down.  He then dragged himself on his belly out of the school, pushing a pair of bolt cutters in front of him. More with video here:

Heh, gee, that's too bad.  I hope nothing happened to his teeth in that fall ... you know ... like bashing against cement curbing or something.  Because who cares about little kids needing heating/air conditioning in school ... that's nothing compared to YOUR need for free money, right, jackass?

My only regret is he wasn't killed in the attempt.  We can always hope though.  It's possible he sustained internal injuries and will go ahead and be removed from the earth.

Ye Olde Countdown Clock

I noticed the countdown clock (in the right margin) this morning ... we're now under 400 days until we get rid of the worst presidink in my lifetime.

You can actually buy an Obama Countdown Clock here if you want ... only $10.95.

Mom comes for a visit and meets the "roomate"

Mrs. Ravioli comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner. He lives with a female roommate, Maria.  During the course of the meal, his mother couldn’t help but notice how pretty Anthony’s roommate is.  Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Anthony and his roommate than met the eye.

Reading his mom’s thoughts, Anthony volunteered, “I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Maria and I are just roommates.”

About a week later, Maria came to Anthony saying, “Ever since your mother came to dinner, I’ve been unable to find the silver sugar bowl.  You don’t suppose she took it, do you?”

“Well, I doubt it, but I’ll email her, just to be sure.”  So he sat down and wrote an email:

Dear MaMa,

I’m not saying that you “did” take the sugar bowl from my house ; I’m not saying that you “did not” take it.
But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Your Loving Son
Anthony

The next day, Anthony received a response email from his MaMa which read:

Dear son,
I’m not saying that you “do” sleep with Maria, and I’m not saying that you “do not” sleep with her.
But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the sugar bowl by now.
Your Loving MaMa

Choose your candidate

Yeah, I kinda knew this already but I'm not convinced Ron Paul can win ... yet.  If I become convinced he can win I'll probably vote for him.  Otherwise, I still haven't made up my mind.  Too bad the media succeeded in "getting" Herman Cain.

If you want to try this gadget you can click here.  Just remember to set the sliders on the left first -- then start answering the questions.

Don't worry, Obama is here to save the day

A Senate source tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that congressional leaders have worked out a two-month budget deal that includes a fully-funded extension of the payroll tax cut. The deal will also require the Obama administration to decide within 60 days on whether or not it will approve construction of the Keystone oil pipeline. President Obama has threatened to veto any deal that includes the Keystone pipeline provision. From here:

You know, you really have to wonder why Democratics vote AGAINST each and every item that has to do with Americans getting cheaper oil ... and vote FOR each and every item that raises the cost of our oil.  In this case, Obama's veto also means that 20,000 people won't be getting jobs ... good paying jobs.

I guess the Democratics don't care that you have other things to do with your money rather than pour it into your gas tank.  No, they want to teach you a damn lesson.  What's the lesson?  I don't know but they are going to teach it to you come hell or high water.  What's that?  You don't like it?  Tough shit, jackass, keep voting for Democratics.

It's about time you GD idiots

Congressional negotiators struck a deal Thursday that overturns the new rules that were to have banned sales of traditional incandescent light bulbs beginning next year.

That agreement is tucked inside the massive 1,200-page spending bill that funds the government through the rest of this fiscal year, and which both houses of Congress will vote on Friday. Mr. Obama is expected to sign the bill, which heads off a looming government shutdown.

Congressional Republicans dropped almost all of the policy restrictions they tried to attach to the bill, but won inclusion of the light bulb provision, which prevents the Obama administration from carrying through a 2007 law that would have set energy efficiency standards that effectively made the traditional light bulb obsolete. More here:

How about that ... the conservatives had to fight the "Democratics" for your freedom ... again ... only this time, they won.  I have a feeling people have had about enough of the job-killing morons in the EPA and elsewhere in the government.
