Poor kid.

This child is angry. Her mother is angry. CNN is angry. A psychologist is angry. A guy in dread-locks is angry. How come I'm not angry?

It seems to me that rather than focusing on the audacity of the "award", they should be focusing on whether or not there's any truth to it. I mean if this girl is regularly making excuses for not doing her homework, there's a real problem here. If she's not handing in her homework, that's doing more to deter a good education than any silly year-end award making light of her shortcomings as a student. Of course, I'm not of the camp which believes that when students fall short, we lower the passing grade.

How to properly celebrate a goal.

I didn't know Bob Dylan was blind

So the presidink was recently handing out the "Presidential Medal of Freedom" to every communist dumbass-liberal with excess toe-jam and I noticed something ... after all these years I didn't realize Bob Dylan was blind (which explains his dark sunglasses in the White House.)

By comparison of the recipients I concluded they have much in common with recipients of Nobel prizes.  All liberal geniuses ... you know ... as it SHOULD be.

Who were the other honorees ... besides the brave & blind Bob Dylan?

Here's one ...  Dolores Huerta.  Hmmmm, and who is she? Dolores Huerta is an Honorary Chair of Democratic Socialists of America ... among other similar endeavors.

Sorry. This was a trick quiz. All of the correct answers are the same person. Each of these quotes are directly from President Barack Obama. And now you know why he brings his teleprompter with him everywhere he goes ....even when talking to a 6th grade class. And some members of the media continue to insist he is "The smartest man ever elected to the Presidency." Right.

A  black guy,
An illegal alien,
A Muslim,
And a Communist
Walk into a bar.
The bartender asks....

What can I get you Mr President!!!!!!!!
Ok, I have a problem, I just found out I am a racist cause I am not going to vote for Obama, but he is not even black, but is only half black and half white.  (Well according to him he is black) My problem then is since I was going to vote for Herman Cain, who is all black, what am I.

The funny, funny media

President Obama failed to appear on cue last night at the Fox Theater in Redwood, California, a weird lapse for a president who may have been exhausted at the end of a marathon day of speechifying and campaigning. More here:

Exhausted ... poor thing.  But when Bush did things like this he wasn't exhausted, was he?  No, instead the media would say "See? See how dumb he is? This goes to prove he's an idiot cowboy."

Also I love how the media portrays Romney as a "flip-flopper" when he changes his position on an issue.  But when Obama changes his position, he's not a flip-flopper ... no, he's "evolved."

But it is in this way the media constantly helps you decide for whom to vote.  They lead you in the direction all the smart people are going.  How do you know who the smart people are?  The media tells you ... and if you want to be one of them you need to think like them .... and more importantly, you need to let your friends know that you've gotten the message by bleating it everywhere.  Yes, that way they'll know you're one of the smart ones.

If it weren't for the media we'd have to decide for ourselves who was smart and who wasn't ... so THANKS, media, you're very baaaaa-bleat.

This commercial is racist.

Asian guy is Lemonade (yellow), Black guy is Tea (brown). White guys (Don King) are staying out of the fight and supervising. Racist.

It's happening... finally...

Teachers are libs... always have been... here's a video wherein it's obvious that more than a few young people are sick and tired of the echo-chamber and are starting to think for themselves. Let's hope this is a trend and not just a fluke.

Just like most people in the Northeast, I grew up listening to lib propaganda all through school. Thankfully though, I had learned at a young age to insist on hearing two sides to every story and pretty quickly realized which side made more sense and it was NOT what I was being taught by most of my teachers.

Way to go, kids. Maybe there's hope for this country after all... (Click for video)

UPDATE:This teacher was suspended.

Hey, Joe Sixpack ... in your FACE, jackass

Judges from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, federal district and bankruptcy courts in nine Western states and two Pacific island territories, along with lawyers practicing in those courts, and court staff, will gather at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa from August 13 - 16, 2012 in what looks like a less than valiant attempt to ensure American justice is being served...at a cost to taxpayers of approximately one million dollars.

More at any Mainstream Media outlet Brietbart

LOL. The ninth circuit ... of COURSE ... the blatant "legislate communism from the bench" gang. Isn't this the court the Supreme Court overturns ALL THE TIME? Why, yes, I think it is.

Anyway, just remember ... you're "the masses" ... they are your intellectual betters. So just STFU you moron ... and by the way, you might as well keep your wallet out.

Poor guy, he did all he could

A Detroit groundskeeper, who turned in a loaded handgun he found hidden in weeds while working, was fired by the Wayne County Department of Public Services, MyFoxDetroit.com reports.

John Chevilott, who is just two years shy of retirement, found the loaded snub-nosed revolver on May 3 when he and his crew were mowing a lawn in Wayne County. Chevilott secured the gun, waiting for police to drive by so he could hand it over to them.

Right, because why call the cops immediately in case they're looking for a murder weapon?

No reason to get our panties all in a wad about finding a loaded gun ... I mean, peeps lose loaded guns in the weeds all the time.  You know how it is, you're walking along and all of a sudden a five-pound piece of metal just jumps out of your pocket and you never notice ... we've all been there.

But, according to the station, the Detroit police never did pass by, so Chevilott finished his work that day, drove the gun home and later that same evening turned it into his local police department.

He says the cops ran the gun and discovered the weapon had been stolen from St. Clair Shores in 2005.

"They said I did the right thing getting it off the street," Chevilott told MyFoxDetroit.com.

And what were they supposed to say?  They probably can't say what they were thinking lest ye be embarrassed or insulted.

However, Chevilott's superiors at the Wayne County Department of Public Services had a much different opinion. His foreman, who had knowledge of the situation, was suspended for 30 days, and after 23 years on the job, Chevilott was fired for violating department policies.

According to a Wayne County spokeswoman and the rules, employees aren't allowed to possess a weapon on work property.

Oh, this makes plenty of sense, doesn't it?  I have no further questions your honor, my mind is satisfied.

Chevilott says he didn't bring a weapon to work. He found it on the job.

"There is no policy. I've never seen a policy what to do if we find a gun out here. So, all I did was secure the situation to make sure nobody else got hurt or killed."

From foxnews:

Mmmmm, hmmm.  Sorry, not sure I'm buying the story.

New "study" justifies forcing witches to pay ... one way or the other

Health experts have been trying to combat obesity in America for years and have recently suggested a new way to solve the growing problem.

A new study suggests that imposing a fat tax on unhealthy food and drinks could help slim down expanding waistlines.

OH oh, a new "study."  That means some idiot arranged some nebulous, debatable information incontrovertible facts so the "result"s came out the way he wanted and he got paid by our tax money.

Isn't it great.  The government steals your money and gives it to their friends to conduct "studies" ... and what do the studies say?  That's right, they say "here's how to get more money and obedience from your slaves ... I mean subjects ... I mean the "free people."

Notice how they never say how these "studies" are funded.  I actually have no idea where this idiot got his money but I'm betting it came out of my pocket.   And try to find the source of his "funding."  Go ahead.  I wonder why the benevolent government doesn't require this disclosure on the front of all the "studies."

According to British Medical Journal , more than 60 percent of Americans are overweight. Under the tax, a $4 cheeseburger would cost an extra 80 cents, RTV6's Stacia Matthews reported.

Oh, an extra 80 cents?  Well, I'm confident the government will make excellent use of that money and not flush it straight down the toilet like they do with most other money.  Hey, I have an idea, they can do like they do with tax money from cigarettes and run commercials every three seconds showing you how you shouldn't smoke ... right? Spending my own money to tell me not to smoke ... I love that, don't you?

Researchers said Indiana spends $3.5 billion a year on obesity-related medical costs.

"The reality is, with two-thirds of the population being overweight or obese, that's what's driving up health care costs and you can either choose to pay now, or you can pay later,” Wright said.

LOL @ "The reality is ..."  It's always a lecture with the idiot-libs.  It's either "The reaility is ..." or their new favorite "It's not about ____, it's about ____."  Shut up you idiots.

Anyway, I see, it's health care costs that are driving them to take action.  Here we go ... the government always justifies stealing "just a little bit more" of your freedom their shenanigans in one of three ways: health, safety, or the environment.  Meanwhile, I'm guessing Indiana loses more than 3.5 billion a year in illegal alien costs  and welfare fraud but are they all gung-ho writing laws to stop that?  Answer: No.

Critics of the tax said people who choose to eat healthier foods should receive tax breaks and incentives. More at the indychannel:

Really?  Is that what their critics think?  Notice these idiot reporters always say BOTH SIDES think the government should be involved ... it's just that one side thinks "punish the witches until they do as we say" and the other side says "incentivize the witches until they do as we say."

But just remember ... it's perfectly fine to tax witches and/or shove them around so don't spend any time thinking about that.  And whichever way you decide (punish or incentivize) is fine with the media. Just as long as we get to push the witches around.

Notice they never find anyone who says "let the government stay the hell out of it."  Nope, nobody feels that way.  EVERYONE feels the government must be involved in everything we do, every day. I can't WAIT until November, can you?

More federal government genius at work

Excerpts: The rest at theblaze:

A Utah high school is learning the hard way that the government is serious about nudging students away from food it doesn’t want them to consume. Davis High School in the Salt Lake City area is having to fork over a whopping $15,000 in fines to the Feds because it accidentally sold soda through a vending machine during lunch.

Nudging? Yes, they're nudging us ... the way an elephant sometimes nudges his trainer to death.

Federal law requires the school to turn off its soda machines during the lunch period, which is 47 minutes a day. And Davis High school did turn off the machines in the lunch room. However, the school didn‘t realize that there was another machine in the school bookstore that wasn’t being turned off.

The Feds?  "Federal law?"  Wouldn't George Washington and the framers of the Constitution be so proud?

They'd LOVE how the federal government is reaching its long slimy arm into your local school to ensure the soda machines are closed during lunch ... and then fining them a RIDICULOUS amount of money when a mistake is made.

Hey, we have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY!!  Do you know why "zero tolerance policies exist? Specifically to thwart predatory lawyers potential lawsuits ... think about it.

Now the school is going to have to cut money to fine arts programs to make up the cost.

Cut money to the fine arts programs?  How about cutting money to the liberal brainwashing environmental science program?

But here’s where things really get nutty, so to speak. Davis High School Principal Dee Burton said that the law is disingenuous. For example, while students can’t buy soda, they can buy sugar-loaded sports drinks and even Snickers bars because they contain, you guessed it, nuts. In addition, students can buy soda earlier in the day before the machines get turned off and drink it during lunch.

I think you're missing the point here Principal Burton.  They don't give a flaming damn about your kids, they just want to expand their reach and exercise power ... that's it.   And they do it for your own good through "science" or "health" or "safety" (or all three.)

And simple economics is at play, too. The ban isn’t forcing students to stop drinking or eating the sugar-laced food and drink. It’s just driving them to places where they can get it.

“The misconception is if we don’t let kids buy candy and pop, we drive them to the cafeteria, it doesn’t drive them to the cafeteria it drives them off campus,” Burton told KUTV.

Really?  There's a misconception? By whom?  Not me. I'm not a stupid lib big government genius but even a lowly intellect such as my own would be able to predict this.

And "drives them off campus?"  Where I went to school one had to maintain a "B" average to take advantage of open campus rules, but I digress.  The point is, this is what happens with tyranny ... they just keep making more and more stupid and ineffective rules to try to close the loopholes.  This is difficult for them to do because they can't address the "problem" (your freedom) directly ... lest you begin to suspect.

LMAObama.com

My friend, The Beaner, brought this to my attention. More here:

Huge "tragedy" occurs - sheep bleat nationwide

Mary Richardson Kennedy (above, in the home where she died) was found at this Mount Kisco estate.

Excerpts: The original article is at nypost:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s estranged wife, Mary, who battled her husband’s rumored philandering by turning to alcohol and prescription drugs, hanged herself in a barn on their Westchester estate yesterday, sources told The Post.

The 52-year-old mother of four — the latest victim of a family dynasty cursed with tragedies — may have taken her own life because she was haunted by her broken marriage, her friends lamented.

“She was deeply troubled, abusing alcohol and prescription meds,” a close family friend said. “She had cause. She was used up and tossed away by Bobby. That was awful.”

A family friend said Mary had known the Kennedy clan long before she married Bobby, and had been a close pal of his sister — also named Mary, but known as Kerry — since they were 15-year-olds.

“She had grown up with the Kennedy family, having been Kerry’s best friend since they were teenagers,” the friend said. More here:

Well, I have a couple of things to say about this ... first, who gives a damn?  Seriously, do you recall ever hearing of this person?  Neither have I.  Then why does the media report it?  I'll tell you why, because they (the media) care and they think you should too.

That's right, the media wants to be sure you understand that the name Kennedy is synonymous with "hero" ... and you should ALWAYS vote for one (or a relative of one) if you possibly can ... got that, sheep-boy?

The media cares about the Kennedys because the Kennedys are like celebrities ... and media types (being insecure libs) LOVE celebrities.  Notice how they refer to them ... "the Kennedy clan."  And all the little reporters have their story about how they actually met a Kennedy (or almost met one) ... and they share these stories with each other as a way to say "see, I'm part of the herd ... accept me ... ACCEPT ME ... LOVE MEEEEE."

Secondly ... I draw your attention to the fact that this poor, POOR, lady was brought up around the Kennedys.  Oh yes ... not just "around" but "best friends" with Kerry Kennedy.  What does that tell you about her financial and social situation?

And yet, there she goes, killing herself because "her life was sooooooo miserable."  Yes, I wonder how she lasted so long ... getting everything she wanted all the time ... out there in the "Mount Kisco estate."  Hard to imagine, really ... what gumption she must have possessed.

So, from this "news" story I learned that some really rich person I never heard of killed herself. I shall be mourning with the media ... baaaaa, bleat.

Ann Coulter Strikes Again.

From her newsletter:

The real class warfare in this country isn't rich vs. poor, it's government employees vs. we, the taxpayers, who pay their salaries.

Working for the government is supposed to be a trade-off: You can't be fired and don't have to exert yourself, but you will receive smaller remuneration than in the private sector, where layoffs are common (especially in the Obama economy!). Instead, government jobs are safe, secure, pressure-free -- and now, amazingly lucrative!

Whether it's in Wisconsin, Illinois, California or the nation's capital, today's public sector workers expect to do little or no work (I'm not counting partying in Las Vegas as "work"), and then be lavishly compensated. Often, the only heavy lifting they do all week is picking up their paychecks.

When government employees mobbed the state capitol in Wisconsin last year, the upside was: They got to bully people. The downside: Voters finally found out what these public servants were being paid.
Full, disturbing article HERE.

Oh, those clever Libs.

They'll mock and revile you if you don't read scholarly material but really, they want you reading the "right kind" of scholarly material. No censorship or book-burning going on nossir. Just do as we say do an all will be well.

Environmental police? They are ON THE JOB!

CARLISLE -- Looking to hit the spot with a savory ice cream at Great Brook Farm State Park this week?
You may be out of luck.

The park's popular ice-cream stand was unexpectedly shut down by state officials over the weekend, after the stand's operator made building improvements at the site without getting permission first.

Mark Duffy, who has operated the dairy farm at the state-owned park for 26 years and has a lease with the state to run the stand, said armed Environmental Police officers showed up at stand on Friday evening and stood guard throughout the weekend, turning away customers craving delectable sundaes and frappes. More here:

"Armed environmental police?"

Ha ha, I can just imagine.  I'll bet the "environmental police got a huge spike of adrenaline the day of the big "shut down."  Yes, yes, "keeping the people safe."  Oh please, jackasses.

Whatever would we do without the "environmental police?"

The Drudge Report

I look at The Drudge Report every morning.

This morning Wombat and I were discussing how Matt Lauer must have felt as he was interviewing one of the Kardashian Klan.  I mean, I'm sure (as a lib) he thinks he's very intellectual so this must have been quite embarrassing for him, don't you think?

We have to keep in mind, the Today Show does these interviews to make money for a reason, people care about the Kardashians.  Yes, that's right.

I know, I know, you're thinking to yourself "Klown, stop being a moron, nobody cares about the Kardashians."  Anyway, it's fun to wonder why people give a flaming damn about pop culture like they do but the facts are ... people care ... and it's big money.

I recall a particular episode of The Simpsons ... wherein one/some of the characters were watching something stupid on television ... and Lisa asks "Why are you watching that?" And Homer replies (matter of factly) "Because it's on TV!"  As if "duh."

Anyway,  after this discussion, I went to the Drudge Report and I noticed something ... of the ten pics on the page, six of them referenced pop culture.

Does this fact say anything to you?  Anything at all?

Remember, Matt Lauer (lib extraordinaire and, as such, your intellectual better) looks down on idiots who are amused by pop culture ... and is embarrassed to be interviewing such a person as a Kardashian ... GASP!  Does that help?  Or does it just complicate matters?

The mob -- always takes THEIR cash off the top

Facebook, based in Menlo Park California, on Tuesday raised its target price range for the IPO to between $34 and $38 per share.

With enthusiasm for the historic offering running high, investors stand to reap capital gains while the company's 3,500-plus workers could grow wealthy through stock units and options - all of which would translate into tax revenue for the state.

If Facebook's shares debut this week at $38 a share, rise to $45 in six months and later rise further, California's general fund would receive $2.1 billion over the next 13 months from taxes on their sale, the state's Legislative Analyst's Office said in a report. More here:

Yes, the mob government is always there ... getting their cash off the top, right?  Do't worry though .... this is FREE cash.  That's right, this FREE cash comes out of thin air so it doesn't cost society any money at all. It cracks me up ... is there ANYTHING that happens anymore that the government doesn't reach in and take a cut?

Also, you know it's going to a good cause because California would NEVER squander your hard earned tax money.  No way, not with the lessons THEY'VE learned lately. Yep, there they were ... all standing by watching your money go down the storm drain and they thought "oops, we really learned our lesson THAT time."

BONUS:  While I was looking for pics to go with this post I came across this.  I didn't want it to go to waste so I include it here for your amusement.

More gay marriage stuff for dumbasses to worry about

(Reuters) - Two big cases addressing marriage rights for gays and lesbians are on track to reach the U.S. Supreme Court as soon as this year, keeping the focus on an issue President Barack Obama reignited with his endorsement this week.

Yes, Obama "reignited" it. Just think, before he said anything the issue was all but dead ... never mind the raging court battles and stinging rhetoric from both sides over the past many years.

The cases, originating on opposite coasts, go to the heart of a question that has churned for two decades: whether states and the federal government may refuse to recognize same-sex marriage.

Oh yes, this is definitely a question for the 536 geniuses in the federal government. Why?  Because these morons have been busy writing thousands upon thousands of pages of laws about marriage.  Yes, whatever would we do without all those laws relating to marriage?

How the high court would rule is impossible to know. In the court's most recent gay-rights case, the justices in 2003 struck down state anti-sodomy laws as an improper intrusion on private activity.

LOL.  The federal government is busy "intruding" into my life on  a daily basis and it's all fine and dandy, yes, commerce clause you know  ... but all of a sudden the court wants to protect consensual fudge-tunnel intrusions cuz, "HEY, THAT DOES IT ... NOW YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR!" *Shakes head*  Nice to know where they draw the line though.

Lawyers for California same-sex couples are urging the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit to end its involvement, which would clear the way for a request for the Supreme Court to settle the issue.
The California case tests whether the state's same-sex marriage ban, which voters approved in 2008 after 18,000 same-sex couples had obtained marriage licenses, violates due-process and equal-protection rights.

By the way, what happened in California.  Those people are the biggest libs on the planet ... you know ... the smart, with-it types ... and yet they vote to make gay people second class citizens.  Stole their rights away without even blinking their eyeliner off ... and I'm talking about the men.

Wait, let me guess, libs ALWAYS go against plain common sense ... that's how you can tell what great genius they possess.  And in this case the common sense is "leave people the hell alone unless they're stepping on YOUR rights" ... and this is why the idiot-libs in California voted against it.  They just CAN NOT leave other people alone.  They MUST order others around.

The second major case is from Massachusetts, where gays and lesbians can legally marry but are ineligible for the federal benefits of marriage.

This is what happens when you allow braying jackasses to vote on the "rights" of other people.

See, that's what makes them "rights."  Nobody is supposed to get to "vote" on your freedom or your rights.  Your freedom and your "rights" are not granted by other people ... nor are they granted by government ... they are yours based on your humanity alone.

Yes, I know the title ends in  a preposition ... but thanks for almost helpin'.

Do NOT question the media when they're trying to lead the sheep

This guy busts the media on hyping a non-story so they can have an excuse to talk about the story the next day.  Everyone is aware of this media idiocy but this guy actually busts her right on the air ... and she didn't like it, nossir.  So guess what she did about it. From freebeacon:

This is painful to watch.

Some of these remind me of my favorite bet in college. I'd bet anyone that they couldn't break a bottle over their own head even if I gave they two tries to do it. I can kinda understand the first one because of all the bottles breaking over people's heads in movies but the second time? WTF? Bottles are a lot harder than they look in movies, that's for sure.

It's just a shame that there were no video cameras back when I was young.

The Vice Guide to North Korea

So these guys travel to/inside North Korea and secretly video stuff. They put together a bunch of short videos (3-4 minutes each.) There are more than 10 (I think there are 14.) Anyway, I'm finding them of interest so I posted this one to get you started if you are so inclined. I've noticed there are some other videos on youtube about North Korea so I'll be learning a bit over the next little while. You can click here to see more of them.

The video below is done by someone else ... another NK documentary.

A different style I liked better but the video is all in one part ... like an hour long. Anyway, take your pick.

Massachusetts libs thwarted by Republicans

State lawmakers overturned a controversial ban on school bake sales this afternoon after a fierce public outcry over school nutrition guidelines that also prohibited pizza, white bread and 2 percent milk.

“That is the stupidest thing I’ve seen in my career,” state Rep. Cory Atkins (D-Concord), moments after the House unanimously voted to ease the statewide cupcake crackdown. “Talk about hitting the nerve of government reaching far into people’s lives.”

Really?  You've been in government all this time and THIS is the stupidest thing you've ever heard?  What ... have you been asleep for the past 20 years?

State Rep. Brad Hill (R-Ipswich) offered the amendment, which leaves it up to local school committees whether to adopt the Department of Public Health rules, after hearing about an Ipswich school arts group that would have had to cancel bake-sale field trip fundraisers and fielding complaints from the local football Boosters concerned about their concession stands. More here:

I notice that no "Democratic" lawmaker stepped up to the plate to declare the emperor naked.  Are Democratics blind or something?  Oh, I almost forgot ... "Democratics" are the ones who pass idiotic crap like this ... they're the ones who appoint idiot "regulators/bureaucrats" who write rules like this.

Tsk tsk though ... an EVIL REPUBLICAN spotted this blatant abuse of freedom well-hidden nugget and pointed it out for all to see.  'Stupidest thing ever" ... yes.

Here's something else "stupid."  I'll bet the compendium of guys/gals who made/published this "rule" make over $75,000 per year.  My vision is of ten or fifteen of these self-righteous morons in a conference room all deciding what they were going to do to "earn" their salary ... and this is what they came up with.  Unreal.  Can you imagine it?  All "Democratics" to boot.

Hey ... Rep Brad Hill, why don't you introduce a bill to reduce that Dept of Public Health about 25%?  Looks like we can easily afford it.  Or, alternatively, find the people who were involved in writing this rule and reassign them to a job where they can learn a lesson about interfering in the lives of people who aren't harming them.

Obama sues the good guys and lets the bad guys go

Federal authorities said Wednesday that they plan to sue Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio and his office over allegations of civil rights violations, including the racial profiling of Latinos.

The U.S. Justice Department has been seeking an agreement requiring Arpaio's office to train officers in how to make constitutional traffic stops, collect data on people arrested in traffic stops and reach out to Latinos to assure them that the department is there to also protect them.

Arpaio has denied the racial profiling allegations and has claimed that allowing a court monitor would mean that every policy decision would have to be cleared through an observer and would nullify his authority.

DOJ officials told a lawyer for Arpaio on April 3 that the lawman's refusal of a court-appointed monitor was a deal-breaker that would end settlement negotiations and result in a federal lawsuit. More here:

Yes, Obama and his "Justice Department" are busy suing regular Americans ... ESPECIALLY sheriffs who enforce the law. And why do they do this? Answer: Because they don't agree with the law he's enforcing. You know ... that old saw "protect our borders."

Obama and his ilk do NOT want to protect the border and they'll sue any state or sheriff that tries to protect their border. Obama ... blocks border enforcement (one of the few "enumerated powers" in the Constitution.) What does he do instead?  He blocks oil drilling, he blocks coal production, he blocks pipelines.

Meanwhile, he gives your money to his buddies in the "green energy" business, they bankrupt the company and leave as millionaires. Do they give your money back? Answer: No. Does Obama sue them? Answer: No.

Interesting, right?  Answer: Not if you're a bleating liberal sheep.

Obscure genius almost beats Obama

In an embarrassment to President Obama, Federal Inmate No. 11593-051 – otherwise known as Keith Judd – won 10 counties and 41 percent of the vote in West Virginia’s Democratic presidential primary Tuesday.

Mr. Judd is incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas, where he is serving a 210-month sentence for extortion, according to The Charleston Gazette. Judd had paid the $2,500 filing fee and submitted a notarized “certificate of announcement” to appear on the ballot.

He is even qualified to have a delegate at the Democratic National Convention, because he won at least 15 percent of vote. However, no one has stepped forward to fill that role. But those are just details. The Republicans are having a field day with this slap at the president. Mr. Obama is deeply unpopular in West Virginia and was already certain to lose the small mountainous state in November.

But the fact that enough people bothered to turn out in an uncontested primary to register a protest against the incumbent is telling.

“Just how unpopular does someone have to be for this to happen?” says Joe Pounder, research director and deputy communications director at the Republican National Committee, in a statement.

West Virginia’s Democratic governor, Earl Ray Tomblin, has also not revealed his vote. Energy is a big issue in his state – America’s second-biggest producer of coal – and the Environmental Protection Agency’s handling of mining-related permits has angered the local industry, writes the Associated Press. Are people starting to wise up.   Or are they just getting tired of their own EPA (unelected bureaucrats) kicking them in the balls?  I don't know ... tough call.

Ha, North Carolina geniuses put a hurtin' on those homos

North Carolinians voted to change the state constitution Tuesday to say that the only valid "domestic legal partnership" in the state is marriage between a man and a woman. The amendment passed 61 to 39 percent, making North Carolina the 29th state with a gay marriage ban in its constitution.

The state already outlawed gay marriage, but the constitutional amendment makes it more difficult for politicians to ever change the law. The amendment also means that a handful of North Carolina municipalities that extended benefits to the domestic partners of their employees will no longer be able to do so, since marriage is now the only valid legal partnership in the state.

You know what? I love being able to vote on whether others should have the same rights as I.

That's right ... the majority should decide everything, right?  51% of people should be able to tell the other 49% how to behave. Yes ... WE'LL be deciding what you can do and what you can't do ... and tough shit if you don't agree. And never mind the equal protection clause ... that's nothing ... just shut up, we're VOTING over here.

You know you've lost your freedom when other people can tell you how to behave even when your behavior isn't hurting them (or others.)

Anyway, how embarrassing for North Carolina.  Do you think this will last very long?  Didn't the majority once deny others the freedom to marry outside of their race?  Why yes, I think they did.  But did that embarrassing episode teach the braying masses a damn thing?  Answer: No.

Let's face it ... idiot liberals many people spend all their waking time thinking how great the world would be if everyone had to do as they said.  And as often as possible they will shove their ideas down your throat and they'll jail you if you dare to disobey ... after all, it's for the good of society ... Hee haw ... HeE HaW ... EEEE-AWWWWWW EEEEE_AWWWWWWW.

Cher ... she's known far and wide for her critical thinking skills

Yes, Cher ... the Republicans hate the sick and all the children too (especially sick children.)  They care NOTHING about them ... you're so right.  And did you think of this all on your own?  Because it just makes so much sense ... so profound.

How does it feel to be such a genius?  Found it here:
